I had the most wonderful associate handle my sons car sale. She was warm, helpful and an amazing associate. Carmax is lucky to have her. I cannot remember her name, but shes the very lovely Russian woman who works at your 5850 Broadway location. She went above and beyond for me and I will be recommending my friends/family to this location because of her.

I paid to have a car shipped in from California. No indication there was an issue until it arrived. Apparently CarMax didnt take care of the title in California before shipping it to Colorado. Car arrived and they said it may take a bit to straighten out title but not to worry. I was informed today title wasnt possible to rectify and they refunded my money and are sending car back to California. Sales manager Autumn was completely useless and offered no solution to help locate another vehicle or do anything than say Im sorry. ZERO accountability or help. In the meantime other vehicles have come up I have passed on due to thinking this would work out. I work with other larger dealership groups on a professional level in Denver market and this is the most unprofessional and unorganized group in Denver. Not worth dealing with them and their customer service has to be the worst I have ever experienced.

I bet many people have had good experience here. But unfortunately I had a terrible customer service here today. I was trying to trade my car and get a used car. The sales name Gabe G gave us lots of pressure, and pushed us the whole time, even not gave us 5 minutes private time to think and talk about things. He also talked very aggressively and being rude the whole time. Since I forgot to bring the title for my old car, we asked for some time to go back to get the title, we live 3 minutes away. He was kinda mad at us, and not let us go, asked us to buy the car first and sell the old car the other day. I have a full schedule and don’t want to spend another day on this, so we insisted to go back. After we got the title and wanted to get back, Gabe kept asked me what time we could get back because he had another appointment and he didn’t want us to work with other sales. He also lied that they could work the best to get me out before the time I need to head to work. Then he told me he couldn’t guarantee us in another 5 minutes. He changed what he said a lot, it was confusing. And his attitude made us feel super uncomfortable. CarMax might be a good place to go, but they should offer better service by screening the sales people!

If you have patients of a saint… this is your place… I told them what I wanted (I wanted to sell them my vehicle )… waited over an hour and a half … When they said 30 min tops… plan to spend your day in the waiting room. But I will say the offer was $1000 better than Echo Park (Arapahoe) but still got a better offer at another deal. So this place is right in the middle … but one star ⭐️ less for the wait time

Thought I saw the car of my dreams but Carmax crushed those hopes when I found out just how Carmax works. They tried selling me a supposedly pristine Jeep Grand Cherokee. Turns out they did not mention at all that the 8 year old car had major under engine rust. They had the car priced at the most I had ever seen on the market. No manual either plus the engine was filthy. If this is the overhead they say you pay extra for then I dont want it lol.

My experience at CarMax was a long process. I had to have the appraisal for the vehicle that I was trading in done over again for the 2nd time even though I was instructed by the CarMax rep to complete it at home and send in the pictures. All of this time was wasted for the process that was already completed just for them to tell me that yes the appraisal is correct and will give me what I was offered via CarMax rep and app. But I was very happy with the vehicle I purchased. Clean, great price and exactly what I wanted. For this process make sure the individual you speak with works at the CarMax that you will be purchasing from because they will tell you different information.

I went in to buy a car and was between two types of cars (there was another car I was very interested in as well, but unfortunately it was on hold for someone else so I could not even test drive it). I put the one I preferred on hold and told the sales rep that I would be back on Wednsday (HOLD was expiring on Friday). I went back on Wednesday only to find the car I had on hold sold to another party, with no solid explanation as to how this could happen . How can anyone trust such a sleazy company that tells you one thing and does another. No professionalism at all and their solution was even worse.The good news is I found a lot of alternatives to carmax that are better priced and friendlier to potential clients.

Could not have been any better. Staff was professional, helpful and not what you expect a car sales experience to be like. Never any pressure, always ready to answer any questions. My sales person (Mario) was great, he made the experience truly enjoyable. They brought the vehicle up from OK for me to test drive with no strings attached. Best place to buy a car!

I cannot speak positively about my experience at Carmax. I worked with Travis and he could not have been more accommodating, respectful, professional, and friendly. He was able to answer my plethora of questions and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. After deciding on the car I wanted, the process was simple and fast. Lexi checked me in and I had great customer service from start to finish. The whole appointment was effortless and took about an hour from start to finish. So happy I sold my car here!! I had some body damage on one of the doors as well as the front bumper and I still got an offer above Kelly blue book. It took a little longer than I thought (2ish hours total) but definitely worth it. This was the first place I checked out after reading reviews and submitting an online form and didn’t need to compare to anywhere else.

Bill provided the delivery service for the 2019 Nissan Kicks SV we purchased as Miriam was unavailable. At the time, we advised him the vehicle was damaged: 2 rock chips in windshield, chipped paint on a door edge, and the vehicle was absolutely FILTHY inside and out. He advised we would report this and we would receive a follow up call.There has been no call or concern and seemingly Bill never provided this information to anyone. Receiving no response, I wrote Miriam/CarMax to share with our HORRIBLE buying experience. She NEVER responded! and a call was made to the dealership management. Im still awaiting a response.The initial setup with Robyn was absolutely painless and I was overwhelmed at the convenience. Two days later, the honeymoon was over and the nightmare commenced. Day after day we attempted to learn an anticipated date for viewing and driving the vehicle. We found ourselves unable to plan our schedules and heard the various excuses about the delays.Then to add insult to injury, CarMax delivered the vehicle dirty, scratched, and with multiple rock chips in the windshield! We had been previously informed that the delays to see/drive the car were for quality inspection! I suppose the inspector lacks 20/20 vision and left his glasses and contacts home that day.If they do not provide a service vendor that does mobile windshield replacement and vehicle detailing, we will be returning the vehicle and demanding the return of our money. Attached are the images that support the vehicle’s condition and lack of cleanliness.

Long wait times. I was quoted certain time frames but it took much longer than what was quoted each segment of the process.Other than that, I have used carmax twice to sell cars now and I always get a very fair price! I appreciate that so much and how easy the process is to fill out paperwork, sell the vehicle (title transfer and DMV help), and get a check that same day. Super convenient.

I arrived for an appraisal of my 04’ Mustang. They had a rep look it over and perform a short test drive. Soon after they presented me with an offer which was $3000 more than those givemethevin.com jokers. Fantastic experience. Nothing felt off or sketchy. I was sad to see old yeller go (yellow Mustang) but I’m glad I took it to CarMax. Thanks to everyone over at the Broadway location.

I found the car that I love. Carmax financed, at a very high rate, but gave me ample time to find a better rate without making me leave the car until I found it.Downside was that I have paid top dollar for the model and year but they refused to repair seeping components, replace a battery that was 5+ years old, and put on a missing component shield underneath the car. All items/repairs reported and recommended by a locally known top-notch mechanic. All of this well within the grace period provided by Carmax. These items will cost me upwards of $2K to fix down the line.

Honestly, I will always be a CarMax shopper. From the first time I went in to just look at a vehicle, every person I talked to treated me SO exceptionally well. Brandon, in sales, answered every single one of my questions, and helped me understand my Extended Warranty I bought through CarMax. My car was having some issues this last week, I brought it into the dealership, talked to Chris at the service desk about what was going on with the vehicle, and he helped me get my car in for repairs. Not only did this entire team help me buy one of my dream cars, but throughout the entire process from looking, to purchasing, to getting repairs, they all have been so extra good to me. They keep me in the loop if I have an concerns or questions and quite frankly, they have some of the best communication skills I’ve ever witnessed for a car dealership. If I could give them 6 stars, I would! I came in on 6/12 for a trade-in and I couldnt have left happier!Nathaniel, our salesman, was not only extremely helpful but had a wonderful personality! He had my partner and I in stitches. Nathaniels genuine demeanor made the car buying process enjoy, because we didnt feel like we were being scammed or being forced into something we didnt want. He help talk us through some decisions, like which car plan cover made sense for us, and he didnt take this as an opportunity to sell us something expensive that we didnt need. If he didnt know an answer to a question, he wouldnt just tell us what we wanted to hear, instead he actually would take the time to find the right answer for us. Nathaniel was extremely helpful with solving issues that came up even though the issues were no faults of CarMax, and completely on my end. Hes communication skills made the whole process incredible enjoyable. Once we were done talking with Sales, we went over to the billing office to talk to Alex, billing associate, and Jacob, GM.Alex and Jacob were so very patient and helpful! At first there was a bit of an issue on my end, but Jacob was able to make an exception and help troubleshoot the issue so I can take home the car I wanted that night. I couldnt tell you enough how much I appreciated the kind gesture! Then Alex was a hoot, he laughed at all my mom jokes even though they werent funny in the slightest. He was extremely insightful with answering the questions I had, and he got me through all the paperwork quickly, without being forceful. If I needed an extra minute to read the fine print or asked questions, he would allow me the space to do so.Overall, I had a truly exceptional experience here and would HIGHLY recommend anyone to the Littleton CarMax. I left with the car of my dreams and had a wonderful time in the process.

From the APRs, to information on the car for owners, accidents, etc. Makes going to a direct dealership look like dealing with the Mafia.I & my wife had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Sheldon at the Broadway store in Littleton, CO. This man is not paid enough for the quality of job that he performs. From the right out of the gate professionalism, and his direct to the point demeaner in a very refreshing way. Mario Mata helped us with our purchasing process and was fantastic and patient. Keep in mind to not reserve anything online as it will cut their commission in half just because the call center is involved even though they dont do anything. If you see something you like, call up Carmax and have Mario help you out!Hes the best and was super friendly even with us and our two kids and a final, 6 hour day. It helps if you know what you want already and dont need to have it shipped in or there will be a delivery fee.Facility is amazing at this location. Bathrooms are clean and there are vending machines as well. Mario brought out coloring books for our kids and allowed us to test drive as many cars as we needed until we found one we loved!

My fiance and I were buying our first car and it wasnt the best experience. At this location, the employees really just seem to be after a commission. We had to find and ship our own car to this location, and were never notified when it arrived. When we went to test drive it, the employee we were working with had no idea about it. The car was filthy, and when we asked it to be cleaned-they did the bare minimum, as the next day we found a ton of dirt that could have been cleaned (ie. coffee spills on the back of seats, dirt marks on the inside ceiling, etc.).The process of buying our car was rushed, we were never asked so what do you think? or ready to buy this car? it was just assumed we were buying it after driving it. We had to spend 4 hours at CarMax because of their confusing loan and financing process that we ended up having to go back afterward, when that could have been avoided had the employee listened to our concerns instead of ushering us forward through the process. But they let us take our time in deciding on which CarMax care option to pick-which we didnt.Honestly, I would have rather haggled with a car salesman at a regular auto place because they at least would appreciate that they have to put in some work to make their own money. CarMax employees are nice at the beginning but then as soon as they know youre buying a car, its all business and get them in and out as quick as they can. I felt like a dollar sign instead of a person.

I had non stop issues with customer service prior to the purchase of my car from this location and that should’ve been my first clue to walk away. The interaction here was very pleasant but I was constantly pressured into taking the MaxCare warranty. Mind you, this would’ve put me well over loan to value and only would’ve covered me for 45k miles. I declined as I did not want to be upside down on a car and I figured hey, what could go wrong in 45k miles?Well, fast forward today with 3k miles on the car since time of purchase and what do ya know my transmission went out. Lovely that this location is selling cars in this condition. The fact that any car sold from a “reliable” company would have issues within 3 months of purchase like this is insane. If I end up needing a new transmission that will run me close to $4k. Thanks for a wonderful experience Carmax. I can say with absolutely certainty I will not be back.Buyer beware: Go somewhere else or purchase the warranty

Selling my Jeep to CarMax was seemless, quick and they paid top dollar for my car!The only obsticals I had was waiting for the title from the Bank and then I didnt realize I had to go to the DMV to transfer the Title into my name (even though I bought it from the Bank)The DMV was easy - they only take appointments (in CO), so not much waiting and they got it processed in 5 days. Worst car buying experience Ive ever had. Sold me a car with broken air conditioning, which I observed and brought to their attention before driving off the lot -- they promised to fix asap. Made me schedule a diagnostic a week and a half out, then scheduled the repair for two weeks later. Theyve been waiting on a part to fix it for two weeks now.....over a month and I still dont have my car. Lackluster apologies and customer service to get it fixed. No offers to make it right, or find a way to make it up to me. Pretty bad all around.

Super easy experience selling my car to Carmax (did not trade/purchase from them). They gave me a good amount for my car and since I owed more on my loan, I paid the different to them with my debit card. Entire process maybe took about an hour total. Not too bad and everyone was really polite, even with it being about an hour before closing when I left. Would definitely recommend to anyone else needing to get rid of a vehicle

Have had to bring the car back twice, under warranty thank god, but not offering a car after having to bring it back twice, and taking three hours for a repair, and saying sorry you didn’t reserve a car. Absolutely worse place to buy a car, will be selling my vehicle and getting away from them.

This review is late but I had an excellent experience trading in and selecting a new car. My salesman even identified multiple issues with my previous title and miraculously detected an identity thieve using my SSN to obtain vehicles in another state.Overall: The staff is very sharp, polite and beyond helpful.

My car was in terrible condition, barely worth anything but car max still gave me a great deal on it. Had all the paperwork turned in and was out in about 45 min. If you are looking to sellbyour car and get a great deal then definatly look into selling it to CarMax. If not just to get an aprazal.
