GRIFTERS! I went for an estimate 4 years ago and they tried to get $450 from me when absolutely nothing was wrong! I reviewed these crooks then and I see nothing has changed; lots of 1 star reviews! Dont go for a smog or oil change! They will screw up your car! I have all my proof on audio and the receipt! My brakes which they claimed were shot, still have plenty of brake pad left and were not put on backwards! Stay away..PLEASE? Got response on here from owner! To owner: I think you should be closed down.You are the biggest crooks in Automotive history! Actually CROOK IS TOO GOOD A WORD FOR YOU! YOU GIVE HONEST SHOPS A BAD NAME!

Pretty sure it is new owners and everything just seemed off in a sketchy way. Monday they didnt answer the phone all day, I couldnt tell from what they were saying which repairs I needed then they wanted$289 ro top off my fluids. in addition Im pretty sure they stole my ac was working great when I brought in my car and now it barely gets cool. I wont be returning and you should avoid this place

This place is amazing. My father was my mechanic for many many years. I can do some work, but recently having a baby i dont like to take the chance. Its been almost 5 years, havent really trusted shops. But i gotta tell you, this place is awesome. The receptionist is wonderful, the service was exceptional and Damon kept me in the loop with all repairs. Gotta hand it to them, its wonderful having great mechanics right in the neighborhood. Went for a coffee and by the time Im back my repairs are done. GREAT WORK USA AUTO, thank you for all the help keeping my family on the road.

Very nice people. They let me know what I needed on my car, which wasnt much, but did not pressure me to get it done now. I went in for oil change and smog check and was out in half an hour.

Had to replace front brakes on my vehicle and it went smoothly. I was shown the problem before any work was done and nothing was done without my knowledge. Honest with recommendations and fair with prices. Definitely will continue doing business them.

My roommate and I both used them in the same week and we both magically had the same $100 belt that they convinced us to get. I also had them fix my power steering leak which only lasted a short time and I had to take it to a different place for another fix

The prices on their oil and smog with a yelp check-in is unbeatable. After that its a big time overpriced upscale even for things that Ive already checked out with auto zone and got fixed from another shop and they still tell me its something they recommend to get fixed. One of them was directly related to the smog, which they passed smh

Well when you first go in Marlene welcomes you in with a smile and is always friendly. They always explain everything and give you an estimate before they do the work. Damian goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I think their prices are very reasonable and fair. They dont take advantage you.

They have great customer service and oil changes are pretty great but anything else I would probably recommend you taking your car somewhere else I dont think all the mechanics are knowledgeable on fixing cars

Scammers! Don’t go here! I took my car here for an oil change four times now because it was recommended to me. Every time they have tried to get me to do something more and explained various issues that I might need maintenance on, which is okay with me, but I’ll get prices and do research always without blindly agreeing to extra work. So today after my oil change, as usual I was informed about a couple of issues. They refused to rotate my tires and tried to scare me into getting new tires instead. No. Not today. The mechanic was visually upset looking when I politely declined the five hundred and fifty dollar tire offer. I payed for the oil change, but when I went to my car they had not reset the warning light so I had to ask them to come finish up basically. I was polite, because I always am. Big deal right? Right. Except about four hours down the highway when I’m in the middle of nowhere in the I hear loud scraping sounds under my car. I figured out that the protective metal cover which has to be removed for an oil change has not been properly re-attached and has fallen out and down at an angle so that it was scraping against the road. It could have caused so much damage if I hadn’t been able to stop right away. I called later and talked to an unprofessional supervisor who was Immediately hostile and emotional when I told him that this made me question the integrity of the whole job. He told me that it wasn’t a big deal, and it happens all the time. He also brought up the other work “tires” that I had passed on as if that was relevant somehow. He then told me that I could pull into any mechanic and they would be able to deal with it no problem. Yeah... duh 😒 He was acting like some random mechanic is going to do that for free. How about you finish the job you were paid to do. How about you at the very least have the courtesy to apologize for your lazy mechanics. I will never go here again and I’ll be disputing the charges to my debit. The stars I gave are for the receptionist who is the only professional you’ll deal with at this location. Just look through some of these reviews, this guy is so dismissive and avoidant of any responsibility when someone has called him out.

They entice you in with a cheap oil change then try to sell you a bunch of stuff you dont need. Normal car repair shady business, but they also left my oil cap off and oil sprayed all over the front of my car and the engine compartment. Very dissatisfied.

These guys are the best. Damien and the Mechanics took care of my car. I got a Hellcat and needed a Borla exhaust put on. They did it same day. Top quality and good customer service.

Don’t waste your time here place is okay for smog and oil change but wouldn’t recommend doing anything else I came here to get my ac repaired they said I had to convert it from r12 to r134 and that it was $200 for the conversion kit and $350 total with labor after about 4 hours they said I had a leak in my compressor so it would be $800 total for them to replace I didn’t go through with it Bc it just seemed to overpriced still had to pay the $350 for the conversion and drove home no ac still on top of that I later found out a conversion kit is only about $60-80 the guys seemed nice too and I believed him but now I feel like he really scammed me and didn’t do much to my car all for the price they charged me

Gabriel, who I was told was the manager, was very unprofessional, made use feel unsafe and even yelled at us. It was unbeliveable... it was only because we declined some servcies he suggested after a smog test.

I’m completely over this shop ... every-time I’ve gone to have my car fixed here, I have to bring it back ... I went to have my radiator fixed which they charged me $800 for and afterwards I found another shop that let me know they over charged me excessively . Once I got my car back the check engine light kept coming on ... I had to bring my car back over 5 times to get one issue fixed ...( which was the thermostat)then a month or so down the road my car started to smoke again which I thought was radiator related and they then told me I need new hoses which costed me $250 more on top of the $800 radiator I paid them for ... so don’t u check the hoses when replacing the radiator? THEY DIDN’T or maybe just trying to collect more money from me .. GUESS WHAT !!? Car is smoking again ... I have to have it towed in the morning !!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM DAMIEN ( Manager ) and this shop that just wants to take your money !!!!

I love this little auto shop. They are incredibly nice and quick when performing service. Their prices are reasonable. I get my oil change and smog done their every year because its such a great deal. Check them out if you need something done with your vehicle.

Honestly Ive been using this place for their $7.77 smog check special for several years on all my vehicles, cheapest in town without needing coupons. Just check in thru Yelp.They do suggest oil change every so often but I always decline politely as I have life time oil change already somewhere else, and they were nice about it and didnt push further. As for other car services I fortunately have no need as my vehicles are quite new. So really cant comment on service here. The rating is strictly for smog check and service usually were prompt.

Went in to get a diagnosis only. A mechanic who goes by ELL on the paper work calls to share the diagnosis and then proceeds to say, it will cost $500 and that it will be ready by 5. I then had to call back and get him back on the phone to clarify that I did not authorize any work to be done. To this he responded wow okay and hung up.When I go into the store and see the actual paperwork, the work is quoted as $629.97 (to replace two o2 sensors). So dude was dishonest on the phone and tried to proceed with the work which would have TRAPPED us into paying another unforeseen $130.Then as I am leaving the establishment this loser yells that is so sad.I chose not to spend a large amount of money while on unemployment and with a two year old waiting at home to be fed, and TWO other perfectly good cars ready to go.The treatment we received was desperate at best. Every other shop I have called since has asked for the name and location of the shop, Im guessing its so they can use this information to warn others.Finally, my paperwork says my vehicle is a 6 Speed manual. Its an automatic. That is so sad.***Edit, I went in to find out what needed to be done to pass smog. They say its the o2 sensors. I go to a place (that is respectable) and have the o2 sensors fixed (OE PARTS). Guess what? Still on my everlasting journey to passing smog.

Me and my fiancé brought our truck in there to have it looked at it was stalling periodically and wanted to get it fixed. When we called to see if the car was done he said it was done and I asked them what the price was and I said final price they told me 800 and some dollars when I got there it wasn’t 800 some dollars it was almost 1000 supposed storage fees 40 some dollars a day. So we paid it and got the car back two days later it started doing the same thing well we brought it back in and now all of a sudden third is the computers bad in the car it just seems like they could’ve bypassed all that and said your computer is bad let’s change the computers so we went through all that and can’t even drive our car. And the guy promised me that it wouldn’t stall anymore. Well it lasted 48 hours thanks USA auto

Orderly, reasonably fast service and cost. Office waiting room was an unpleasant environment... crowded, cramped, kind of grungy. Could do MUCH better with just a little bit of creativity and thought. Nice music would be a real plus.

Got roped into a financial mess while trying to smog my vehicle that never ended up getting smoged. Was able to smog my car at another shop with a couple cheap parts is all.

I just moved to town 3 days ago and have already been here twice. GREAT people skills, especially for mechanics. They are informative and actually let you know what is wrong with your car and are willing to show you. They have so many people working and a ton of cars in the bay and move rather quickly. Extremely reasonable prices and above and beyond with customer service. I plan on making this my permanent location for any auto work and you should too.

My car was towed there Sunday because it had an issue and their location was close. Was told by Damon on Monday there were two options. First option - go with the parts provided by the warranty company. Second option - go with OEM parts he would be sourcing. Was recommended option 2 at my out of pocket expense of ~$900. Told him I wanted to go with option 1 because it was expensive. Then he tells me he wont work with the parts provided by the warranty company, and to either go with the OEM parts or move my car by 6pm that day. He says he will charge $45/day for my car being there. I asked if he could give me some time to think as it was already 2pm. Nope. I towed my car to a different mechanic. Later turns out that the issue diagnosed by Damon was incorrect. It wasnt a radiator problem, but an intercooler problem. Definitely the worst customer experience Ive had in 2020, would give negative stars if possible.

I came in for two different smog checks and was in out in no time. They got the job done and made recommendations/suggestion of other works without being pushy. Beware! Brought my car in for oil change, tire rotation and smog check and then was told bushings leaked, shocks/struts, lower control arms and sway bars all needed replacement. Was quoted $3254.98 to do the repairs. It seemed unlikely all these parts needed replacement, since the car is highly rated for its performance and longevity and my nine year old car only had 53,000 miles on it. I decided to get a second opinion from another shop (that a friend highly recommended) and they reassured me there was absolutely nothing wrong with struts, shocks, etc. So US Auto may be fine for such things as oil changes and smog checks, but I strongly recommend you get a second opinion, if they tell you they found other things wrong with your car.

Ive been bringing my cars here for years and never had a problem. Front desk and every tech here is very nice and helpful. They get to the point and are honest about the recommendations without pushing you or scaring you about it, unlike other shops that tell you your car will have a bad motor because you didnt do whatever they said. Prices are reasonable and they will work with you if you need help.I recommend this shop for the professionalism and friendliness.

Was very pleased with my visit. Customer service was great, mechanic was extremely informative, I will definitely be going back. The biggest thing was that I felt they were being very honest with me not trying to tell me that I needed work on my car that I didnt really need, unlike other places Ive been to, i.e. Pep Boys in Henderson, will never go there ever again.

PROSThe most affordable oil changes and smog checks in town. I will not go any where else for those two services. Every year I walk out of here with those two services at just slightly over 20 bucks including new filter, oil disposal fee, and a clean smog in hand.CONSSince these services are so affordable I am almost 99% certain all recommended services outside of that are inflated (per 3 other mechanics elsewhere, one being my father, who saw my service order recommendations). So all Im saying is get a second opinion, if possible, prior to accepting recommended services.I hope this helps!

The words auto mechanic and honest are not usually found in the same sentence. These guys are good and honest. They fixed a detached hose on my husbands car several times for free and they have done free oil changes for me as a courtesy when they were doing other service items, and have always treated me with respect.

They’ve done it again. Wish I could leave more than one 5-star review but I’ll edit this one to be more descriptive.Awesome spot - always a great deal no matter what the service. Technicians and staff have been consistently honest with me about my needs, and are seemingly against overcharging for an assortment of “necessary” items on each & every visits. Very much unlike the majority (all?) other mechanics I’ve visited.Don’t forget to tip for awesome service & money saving tips - these guys go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of without breaking the bank, so make sure you top up their funds too.

We have really appreciated this auto repair shop. My husband does most of his own repairs, and they have taken time to give him advice/instructions. They also have been very honest on number of occasions when I have specifically asked them to check out parts of my car that I knew were recently replaced, and they did not try to cheat me or upsell me. I have had several auto repair shops attempt to sell me things I dont need, but they never have and I appreciate their honesty. Highly recommended.

The lady at the front desk is the best thing about this place! Mechanics messed up my grandmothers car that ran perfectly. I took it in because the check engine light went on and it turned into a nightmare of things going wrong with my car! Last straw was when I brought it home after a water pump replacement and the reservoir wasnt full, a floormat was missing and a black greasy foot print was in the carpet! I was so mad and never did get my money back even though I complained and tried. Beware the nice people and focus on how they fix (or dont fix) your car!

We will see and I will update. I dropped my car off today Wednesday 4/29/20 to have AC repaired. I will let you know if they attempt to scam me as I already know the problem. I will say one of the mechanics has me worried because of how unprofessional he was. A USA auto employee offered me a ride home since I would be leaving my vehicle overnight, the mechanic offered to give the employee a GUN for the drive to drop me off. Im already thinking I should just get my car in the morning before he touches it.

Cant say enough about how great these guys are. I went in thinking I needed a new alternator, they simply told me it wasnt the alternator and that all I needed was a new battery. This is what you hope and dream for in a mechanic. Honesty and integrity. Thanks again USA Auto Service!

Smog retest, car runs good not smoking, replaced three sensors, car passed smog test. The car is smoking very bad after they worked on it. Will not fix what they did wrong. So before test no smoke coming from tail pipe after test smoking very bad from tail pipe?

This USA auto repair shop at 4810 S. Fort Apache rd in Las Vegas appears to be ignorant about oil viscosity and they enforced their ignorance on a customer. My oil cap indicates a 0w-20 viscosity and what I am giving them is a 10W-30 synthetic oil. They refused to change my oil because they insist its the wrong oil. There is no such thing as wrong oil. You do not need to use the exact oil type and brand the manufacturer recommends because oils are pretty general, they are not that different. Manufacturer do not take a sample of your oil to determine if your car is in compliance with warranty. A 10W-30 synthetic oil is based on a 30 grade oil etc. etc.. To figure out the exact viscosity of oil you need, is to drive the car in the condition you will use.The shop needs to train their technicians about oil viscosity so as not to expose their lack of education.

To bad ther isnt a negative star for rating this place. Clutch stuck on my car. Paddle replacement needed. These guys quoted $500 to replace the clutch paddle only and $1,500 for clutch replacement. Ridiculous. Found a repair shop that did the job for $200. Do not take your car here unless you enjoy getting ripped off.

Horrible! Took my jeep in, had to get oil leak and radiator leak fixed. 1400 later and this morning I see a leak in my garage! That isnt all, took my jeep in mint condition, and get it back scratched and with a black hood. My jeep is custom paint and pink!!!! Now they wont fix it and I have to speak to the GM who doesnt pick up the phone! The manager Chris is gone! Where are you Chris?? Im truly devastated and now I have to get an attorney!

Very cheap and fast service. This is not like a jiffy lube or a terribles where the employees are professional and well mannered. The front desk was nice enough just hope you dont have to speak to a mechanic. This place was recommended to me for the price and its true that they are very cheap. I wont be returning due to the extremely unprofessional conduct of its employees. Its a shame

Oil change was great. They did a diagnostic and told me my rotors need to be replaced and my break pads. They were right about the break pads but my rotors are fine. They were trying to get me to buy more. I did not like that. But the service was good and quick. These places never give you the option to resurface your breaks so mention resurfacing.

RIP off fix my radiator two year ago not its bad again. I have to take to the dealer. Dont go there they will just take you money. The mechanic are not experience. They want you to pay tax so they pay taxes to the state

Auto change was quick! Service was wonderful highly recommend. However they will tell you you need fluids done because it’s an easy money maker for them.

Trying to find a mechanic in a new area can be a pain. USA Auto helped make finding a quality and reliable mechanic a lot less painless!

This shop is a fraudulent shop. They quoted nearly $800 to fix a fuel line leak in order to pass smog but, there was no leak. All I had to do was tighten my gas cap, disconnect my battery for a few mins. and then drive the car 40 miles and it passed perfectly. Never, never go there. They were also rude on the phone and in fact, hung up on me. They dont really deserve the one star.

Although their prices are good, they just did my oil change 3 weeks ago.... they didnt tighten something correctly underneath the car and now that oil change has completely leaked out.... now my car is making a sputtering noise, and Im at Good year spending more money for a fix + an oil change that I shouldnt have to be doing if it were done correctly the first time

Fast and friendly service, they know my fiancée and I on a first name basis, and they have even done my oil changes for free because I either waited longer than usual or I had other work done. They personally show you whats wrong with your car, so you can be sure they arent pulling your leg and making you spend more money than necessary! This is the only honest and efficient car shop Ive been able to find in Las Vegas.

I never like taking my car to auto mechanics, no one does. The amount of time ive spent on my car shows that I care about it very much. These guys do some of the best work Ive seen at the most fair prices around. Its no wonder they have the best rating in town.

This is the best place to take your vehicles. I drive from the east side of town to them for to do all the work I need on my vehicles. Theyre honest, tell you upfront what needs to be done and what can wait.

Went in for an oil change which normally costs 30 bucks and the rude receptionist said it’d take about 30-35 minutes.. over and hour goes by and I get my bill for 53 bucks.... NEVER AGAIN! You’re better off heading over to jiffylube, save yourself some time and money.

Went in there for a smog check. They got me in and out very quickly, no appointment needed. They did show me some things that they wanted to do to the vehicle (change the power steering fluid, etc). I dont mind that. What I liked is that they didnt push any of it on me. I may update this review if I have a bad experience in the future. But so far, so good.

I was told to come here by a friend, hoping my worst fear of being screwed wouldn’t come true.. I got dominated . $700 for a wireing harness, starter and p/s pressure hose . I could have bought all those parts, took an automotive class and still have money for LEGO Land . Not to mention I waited, I kid you not 4 hours and being told every hour only 15 more minutes. And that was when I had to come back a second time because the p/s hose was faulty . Don’t be an ignorant college kid like me, bring your short tempered grandpa like this one customer did . Be that guy . But friendly customers in the waiting room !

Ive been taking my car for oil changes for the past year and theyve been good. They usually show me the parts of concern with my car which is why my husband and I chose to bring our van (Dodge Sprinter) to them for a fix.We took it in June 10th and it was supposed to take 4-5 days. Long story short, they still have it. Theyve continuously pushed the ready date and today was latest day it was supposed to be ready.AND they havent called us at all today.Theyve been extremely inconsiderate with their LACK of communication and honesty about when it is supposed to be ready. Weve had to cancel so many plans because they keep pushing the ready date.The MOST upsetting part is we have to call them for updates. They dont even give us courtesy calls, something that is a common occurrence with other reviews as well.

I was told by both managers that I NEEDED an abs module ($1,946 for just the part) even after the fact that I went in with proof that it was just a speed sensor. I took it to TED WIENS and they didnt even mention the abs module! I replaced the speed sensor and passed my smog! DO NOT TRUST THESE MANAGERS FROM USA AUTO! TOO MANY RED FLAGS!

Went to get just a smog and they took out my cabin air filter and my engine air filter and came out with some “recommendations” I went in on Saturday and drove my car home the car sounder a bit louder than usual as I’m not a mechanic I didn’t think anything or even know what to look for. On Monday I drove it to and from work and low and behold my car broke down on the 15 freeway open the hood and my engine air filter was not closed all the way it was cracked at the connector point and also the radiator hose was broken off lights of oil were flashing on my dashboard which is odd because I had just got the oil changed in 4/15 and ooh that I was told was to dark and needed to be changed ooh but at free of cost with the services they recommended I had a mechanic fix it today and he thinks the problem was when whoever was on the hood inspecting the car may have leaned on the pipe and it cracked or snapped and no one said anything “coincidence or not” yes the car has miles on it but never experienced anything like it as a female I feel they tried to take advantage of me so just FYI if your going for just a smog it may be cheap but it will cost you in the long run business looking for you to come back to give them business. I went and spoke to the “Manager Daymond” and he states they had nothing to do with it the car is old and it was bound to happen and his guys closed the filter properly. Not buying it. BEWARE no reason why they checked anything other than just a smog if that’s what I went In for.

DONT COME HERE. I came in for an oil change and smog with my car working perfectly fine. The next my battery light comes on switch a check engine and abs. They tampered with my car and are now refusing to fix it. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT COME HERE EVER!

TLDR: Probably the best price for a Smog check ive seen in all of Las VegasBrought my car here for the 11.99 Smog check I kept noticing while exiting the 215. Told them what i wanted, gave them my keys and went across the Arby for lunch. Half way through my lunch I receive a call informing me i passed the test and theres an issue that needs to be brought to my attention.Went back, was informed that my radiator might be leaking, was shown some dried up coolant in my engine and the mechanic gave me his recommendations. I informed the guy that all i need is the car to last another 3 months as i plan on replacing the vehicle. I asked to top off the coolant and charge me for it, the radiator was completely full. He quoted me a price on the repairs, I asked his opinion to see if this is a critical repair and he gave me an honest answer, were entering the coldest part of the year, coolant is already at max capacity without them filling anything. If i didnt notice anything before then it should be fine until i start noticing something.I thanked the man for his efforts and paid my bill. Overall the service was done very fast, at a VERY affordable rate (total came up to 7.77 as i mentioned id like a business card so i can leave a google review, cashier gave me the yelp promo). I would highly recommend going here for smogs and will go here for future smog checks.

They scammed me of $500. Charged me and didnt do any work. Thought about suing, but I dont remember the Hispanic guy that diagnose (engine) my car. They didnt give me proper paper to prove that, either. They got me, dont let them service your car without getting names & proper receipts before/after service.

Watch out for these guys.. I took my car in to check the air and they said I need to do a recharge because I had a freon leak. They also told me I had a coolant leak. They were wrong about both. The coolant leak was a few drips of the overflow radiator line because I unplugged it to tighten my belts a forgot to plug it back in.. What a SCAM just plus the horse back in. So I decided to get a freon gauge to see where my freon levels were and they were perfect at 35 ! What a Scamming place. Glad I have a great mechanic in my home town to walk me through things.. I would advise NEVER use this shop !!!
