I brought my car in for a diagnostic (paid $70) and explained what I was hearing (a rattling sound). They examined the car (so they claim) and told me it would cost $1000+ to have it repaired. I went ahead and paid to have the car fixed. As soon as I drove off it was making the exact same rattling sound. I took my car back and had the mechanic ride with me to prove the car was still making the same exact rattling noise I had just paid $1000 to have fixed. He tells me the repair he made was for this other noise which was a screeching/ cracking sound. My car has never made a screeching/ cracking sound EVER!! They said they made the repair based off of info they Googled from BMW (so I basically paid $70 for a Google search), but then proceeded to tell me that somehow while making this bogus repair they found the real issue that is causing the rattling and can fix it but it would be an additional $1000. But what about the $1000 I already paid? They tried to convince me that it was a repair I would needed anyway…REALLY?!....So I am out of $1000+, no apology, no making it right…nothing. Oh, and by the way my windshield washer pump is now broke. It worked when I brought my car in (had just used it) but on my way out they told me it was broken and gave me an estimate.…to think car repair shops still treat women this way.….smh

Took my car to the dealership to do warranty work on my BMW 328i and was returned to me in worse condition than when I brought it in. So I did what I should’ve done in the first place and have been doing the last few years - I took my car to EMC because along with the quality service and care they consistently provide (reasonably priced), I also get honesty and peace of mind. The staff is knowledgeable and professional.The owner makes it easy for me to understand when she explains the diagnosis. I was offered shuttle service, work was completed within the estimated time frame, and my car was washed when I picked it up. My car is running great now.

Theyre a great company to go and get your car serviced at, they have excellent customer service and Im very confident that my car is done to 100% satisfaction. All their mechanics are certified and trained working on European type vehicles.I would not hesitate to recommend them Ive been going there probably over 15 years.

Ive been taking my cars here for quite a few years now. Aside from great customer service, I feel EMC has always been honest with me and explained what repairs are actually required plus whats recommended while taking time to answer my questions. Theyve also taken great care to only do work that is actually required without add-ons in order to offer the most economical fix possible. This is really important when youre chasing something like an engine light that suddenly pops on for no apparent reason. Nobody enjoys bringing their car in for service but at least I know my car is in good hands when the time comes.

Awesome Awesome service they replaced rear main seal transmission mount and other oil leaks they said it would be ready A specific day and they fell behind because other repairs came up but something I’ve never seen before they stayed late until it was finished and had it that day just like they promised. When I say they stayed late they stayed until almost 1am for me. Thanks again for the great service and hopefully I don’t have to see you any time soon 😁 but if I do I know it will be pleasant thanks EMC

EMC was very professional from the very first call. I was sent to the rookie at the front desk whom admitted they were and didn’t pretend to know something they did not, and the others were anxious to help to make sure everything went smoothly. I remembered an issue with my car when they were nearly finished, and the front desk and mechanic didn’t hesitate to he’ll with the late intrusion.

This sole purpose of this review is to let other costumers know that the diagnostic fee advertised ($139) is not flat. It’s a fee that gets the car in to perform some initial tests but additional fees will be required along the way to complete the diagnosis. That came as a surprise to me and when I voiced my concerns management became crude with me. I was insulted several times, told I could not bring my car in anymore, and that if I were to leave a review I would be called unreasonable. I never wanted to leave a review. All I wanted is a complete diagnosis. But I guess here I am after having spent more than I could afford without resolving my problem.

Thieves. tried to charge my wife $1600 for an alternator! i trusted them until this experience and found out how they really operate. if it were my wife she probably would have believed them and spent the money. also persistent about timing belt replacement 15k miles before it was due. don’t take your car here they will bend you over and take all your money if you let them. never again for me.

My experience with them was HORRIBLE ill never take my truck back to them they play the guessing game and never fix the actual problem with your vehicle everytime my truck leave their shop the check engine lite comes on the next day this happened multiple times all they do is rob people if you have a Range Rover DO NOT TAKE IT TO EMC worse service ever and they dont communicate with the customer you have to contact them to find out whats going on with your car.

EMC was great. Check-in was fast and easy. They have invested a lot in their platform. They send you pictures of repairs needed through their platform ao you can accept or deny work, which is very cool in the event you running ln a tight budget and need to get the most critical of repairs. I brought my audi s4 stage 3 here to have the boost fixed and tuned.. very disappointed as I spent almost 1000$ and they did not fix the problem I picked the car up and the check engine light was gone about 4 blocks down the road and it was back on the the car was still running the same .! Our car broke down while passing through St. George and we called to see if they could help us day of. They were super nice and even did some brainstorming over the phone with us on how we could continue our vacation even though they didnt have the part in stock. Ended up working with the dealership in Vegas only because they had the part, but wished we could have gotten the job done here since they were so kind!

What an excellent experience! If you are going to a dealership for your service - don’t! EMC Is honest and trustworthy, they have fair prices and take care of their customers. They took the time to review everything with me and went above and beyond with helping me understand what I needed to do to get my BMW prepared for lease turn in. Way beyond what the dealership offered. Had I discovered them before deciding to turn my car in, I would have kept my vehicle and just had them service it. I can not recommend them enough.

Service staff was friendly. However, was quoted an outrageous price to rebuild a transmission. Approximately 3 times the cost of an actual rebuilt transmission. Also quoted almost $900.00 to replace a headlight module that is available online for about $200.00. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I will say I was glade I went to EMC. I had put out a post on my work facebook page and asked any Flight Attendants if they recommend a local Las Vegas Mechanic. I got a few responses, but felt EMC was the one to go to. It was easy. I had my car towed in. I did not have to show up with the car. Everything was done online. I was given detailed breakdowns of what was wrong. I was allowed to approve work to be done, or not approve. I will say car maintenance is expensive on any type of sports car. I knew going in what it would be at. I am happy with the service and honesty. I also loved the fact I did not have to arrive with with my car in the beginning. They have a website. EMC is a good place to get your car fixed. I’m sure a lot of us use and abuse our cars with no thought. The vegas summer will beat your car down as well. I am happy.

I’ve brought my Benz in twice. They send a detailed report to your phone with everything that was checked, and what they recommend they fix next if need be. Price is never an issue here, you get your money’s worth. Everyone on staff is very pleasant and professional.

They are scammers

I had been going to this place for certain car repairs of a Mercedes one day I took my car in for G service so they gave me an oil change and a check for my truck switch lock would not close automatically once depressed so the bill came to $228 but they also told me what the car needed they gave me a computer printout and with everything and total it came to $4630.00 something like that. They gave me a printout of all the parts that I needed brake pads rotors this everything front and back every cabin cleaner spark plugs windshield wipers Parts came to 1995.00 and the labor was $2,450. Sold upon hearing this news I was pretty shocked because its all minor stuff except for the brakes so I went online with the computer printout that they gave me and the parts number that they gave me I ordered o e m which means original equipment manufacturers that ordered the parts everything including the trunk switch and it came to $568 I have a secondary guy that does work on Mercedes I want to see him and ask him how much you would charge me to these items on he charged me $900 for labor which included a serpentine belt for the motor of the car and a battery for the rear of the car I supplied the battery the auxiliary battery I always liked Selena she was always fair but this was way out of line so including their bill of $228 I paid close to $1,700 All In so just goes to show you how these auto repair places try to Bilk u so all Im telling you online people is to do your homework before you get played I guess they thought I was an all-day lollipop

2001 BMW 525i. The staff is knowledgeable and thorough. They are reasonable and explain everything in detail. They dropped me off to get my hair cut AND they washed my car (and tires) when they were done. I’m an impressed and satisfied customer.

I visited EMC with a friend who needed struts replaced on her 2012 Nissan Sentra. EMC wanted ~$980 to replace the struts then wanted to charge her another $180 for a 4-wheel alignment. The last time I had to have struts replaced the shop I went to included the alignment in the price for the struts and was less than the price EMC charges.

Very thorough . Was with me every step of the way and called with updates. I have never had that kind of customer care from staff like I received with European Motor Cars.My vehicle had a few things that needed repaired and they had it done when promised. The owner was also kind enough to get me a rental at their shop rate from enterprise rent-a-car and charged me for a part needed at their cost. They are awesome.

Friendly people, but the place is extremely expensive and lacks candor. Dont take your car there.I brought in my BMW X5 to get a quote on replacing engine and transmission mounts and changing torn CV boots. The lady at the front quoted the repairs at over $2,000. Most of the charges came from labor. Over $1,000 worth of labor to replace the mounts and $600 to replace the CV boots. Taking into account their hourly rate, it means they were to spend close to 10 hours replacing the mounts and close to 5 hours replacing 2 CV boots. That seemed quite excessive to me. Like one of the reviewers before me, I was thinking about giving up on my car and just getting a new one, especially, since I had spent over $2K on other repairs/maintenance this year already.Fortunately, one of my co-workers told me about a place on the east side of town - Top Car Service. I live in the southwest, so I was a bit discouraged. Further, the shop on the east side was not easy to get a hold of. But it was all worth it! Top Car Service replaced my mounts, CV boots, and power steering hoses for under $600! I cannot be happier with the price. Moreover, the service ended up being personable and friendly. And quality of work - from what I can see so far, it is excellent. The car feels sturdy again and corners like it is on rails. In fact, I am so happy with the place that, initially, I did not want to disclose its name. Selfishly, I was thinking that increased popularity will make it harder for me to get future appointments and may cause them to increase prices. Fortunately for anybody still reading this review, my civic senses prevailed over my self-interest, especially, after reading the review written by the guy who just let his car die because of overpriced and shifty places like EMC.

Have taken my car here for many years without a problem. My Mercedes ran great until a recent oil change. Immediately after, the car was slow to start. Three repairs and thousands of dollars later, the car still was slow to start.Out of desperation, I took it to another repair shop right in my neighborhood. They diagnosed the issue, did a repair and gave it back to me the next day. It now runs great.While I realize after a diagnostic troubleshooting and repair it is possible to still have an issue- I shouldn’t have to come back three times, to only have the car back with the same problem.A warranty on repairs doesn’t mean much when you are told ‘it wasn’t that, now it’s this...’ every time.I disputed the first change with my credit card, and they didn’t voluntarily reverse it, so now I’m disputing the 2nd and 3rd repair bills- as that’s roughly the charge to have it fixed properly.This review may be changed upon satisfactory resolution.-B Randell / Bruce Halbach

Took my Mercedes in for an A service. They were able to accommodate me with one day service. EMC did a great job and finished it by the time I requested. An added bonus--the car was washed and the tires shined. Driver was quick to respond in the courtesy vehicle. I will be going back to them for my next service.

Double Charges on my Credit Card 1st. False diagnosis tried to charge me $2700. Lies and constantly making disrespectful comments Mike Daley is a complete scam artist. Con man refused to answer simple questions. Vehicle just needed a catalytic converter and fix radiator leak. This clown tries to run up the bill and charges me twice for the diagnosis then refused to refund or send information so I could correct the issue. Mike Daley is a complete total fraudster the Attorney General will be contacted for sure.To end it this hateful European Motors employee breaks my driver side door!
