Worse than awful!I had been to this store several years back and was very happy with the service. Also had work done on my Saturn VUE at the nearby store on south Durango street. Again I was very happy there (I even wrote a positive review) with both the service and professionalism of the staff. So, I was confident that things would be the same as before. They were not!I was met in the office by an unfriendly, almost surly, mechanic doing the office work. I asked for the usual oil change and smog test and told him that my Check Engine light was on. I had just replaced the gas cap and hoped that things had improved.He took the keys and a few minutes later came back to tell me that I failed the smog test (which of course I expected); I asked him if he thought it was the gas cap which I just replaced. He replied, with a manner of a bored pushy adult talking to children, that only a Diagnostic Test (about $50) could answer that. I agreed to the test and sat down in the office to wait.Time passed. Lots of it! A very long wait.The office was filled with large advertisements for financing what were clearly expensive repairs (naturally a depressing sight). Yes, there were other customers but only a very few, so it seemed odd that the wait was so long for a diagnostic test. Almost 2 hours later, and after asking a newly arrived office worker if the test was over with, I was given a printout by the surly mechanic who told me in a mildly threatening tone that the necessary repairs (“If I wanted to pass the smog test”, as if I didn’t) would be about $800 (see picture below). But he would waive the $49.99 ‘diagnostic’ fee, if I did the repairs. If the ‘diagnostic’ took 2 hours, I wondered how long the repairs would take. Since I had waited a very long time and had lost my trust in him, I said no. He then yelled to another mechanic in the back, “Ship it!” Is that code for something? So I paid for the oil change, the Smog test (which used to be differently priced before, if you failed) and the ‘diagnostic’ which told me that I had an emission problem, something which was self-evident. I left feeling that I was nearly ripped off by a dishonest business and fortunate that it wasn’t a total nightmare. There was NO diagnosis that there were some other issues with the car, like insufficient radiator coolant and other small issues. Some diagnostic!I then took my car to another mechanic who, when he opened the hood, exclaimed, “Who worked on your car”. He pointed to an emission hose that was cut (see picture). Cut! I told him where I was and he said that what he saw was malicious tampering, not automotive work. He fixed my emission problem and I passed the smog test for far less than the so-called diagnostic.Never again will I go to that business for any service, nor will I allow anyone I have any influence over.Shame on that store and shame on the parent company!

I had a very informative walk through of the issues with my car; 8 items needed to be fixed. Everything was fixed within 6 hrs. I was able to leave my car, go back to work and after work I picked up a smoother riding car! This team took great care of me! The price was unbeatable! I am truly thankful for their service. I will continue to go to Purrfect Auto for all of my cars preventative maintenance! If you need car work, you NEED to go to Purrfect Auto!

Pulled up and got an oil change in under an hour without ab appointment. They told me what needed to be done on my car because my check engine light was on. So for service and customer service I would say 4 Starz but my car was returned with a huge dent scratch on the side. I called and complained and they tried saying it wasnt them. Im not happy about the damages. And the fact that they are denying it. So I am giving them 1 star

At the start of the pandemic in 2020 took my vehicle in, it needed some work and of course I was not working at the time, so I thought it would be a great time to get it done. I knew it would be expensive and take some time. I was not having a great experience with the situation in the beginning. During this time period, management changed. The situation was turned into a great experience immediately! The workmanship, customer service and HONESTY was exceptional. Car repair is a pricy hardship on many, especially now during our tragic times. Unfortunately, still out of employment, cant purchase a new car, the prices are crazy, so need to fix what I have. Have gone in several other times this last year for repairs, oil change and smog. The team is wonderful, the best I have ever experienced. Chris has done a wonderful job in the last year and half. His leadership has been absolutely fantastic. Chris is an asset to the organization and an example of what customers should expect in this industry. I cant imagine what its like day to day giving bad news. Thank you to the team and you Chris.

Worst place in the world ever. They should all be in jail for their practice or malpractice. It’s 107 outside I dropped my car because my air conditioning vent wasn’t blowing enough but just a little and frizzing air. They called me to let me know that it was frion! $200. I’ve told them let me come back and pick up the car because it was probably the cabin filter first. When I’ve pick up the car the air was coming out but super hot and not cold at all anymore. So they just took all the frion off because I’ve decided to do not do business with them!

Most dishonest car shop in the area. I recommend you go somewhere else because your car will continue to have problems after problems going there. They replaced my driver shaft on my lexus es350 after that my steering would wobble as I accelerate from a stop. I took it back for them to check it out they denied the issue and said I would need my lower control arm bushing replace. Why didn’t they mention that before I had my driver shaft replaced? All they care is about is lying to their customers to get more money out them.

I came here for essentially a bundle service for replacement of fluids such as transmission, brake and power steering. They have me a very fair price for which is already a good deal compared to the dealership services. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly, all of them! I spoke with the front office person, the manager and the mechanic who worked on my car and they all were extremely Pleasant. Additionally, five stars for being open on Sunday! There waiting room provides water, coffee and air conditioning so I wouldnt say is lavking at all!

Heres my experience with this location, I decided to start driving Uber on my spare time to some extra money, & to do so I needed inspection so I chose the closest auto service, after 2hours of waiting they told me one of my brake lights is out needs replacement which will cost $25,& if I dont replace it with them it will cost me more because theyll charg me $50 for not passing the inspection, even though it cost $20 every where else. This place is a rip off so find a different place to get your services if you dont want to get ripped off.

Best price on smog check. Also, with the smog check they do a free multipoint inspection of the vehicle. In cases where I have afterward brought the vehicle to another shop to look into getting the recommended work done, I have always found that Purrfect was honest about that work needing to be done.

I truly believe this team tried there best to resolve and rectify this issue with my baby but ultimitnaly even after the help with finance, best pricing available around and great customer service, it still wasnt enough to fix it, the issue is still there. I have no negative feelings but I will not be coming back and will pay the extra money to have a team who are capable of resolving these issues. DISHONEST! All bad reviews are true. Please read before doing business. They charged us over $1,500 for something we later found out could have cost us less than $500. MAURICE told us we needed to fix some extra things and we blindly went along with it.We told him we were from out of town and desperate to get home and they took advantage- we didnt know the area, it was the holidays, and we fell for it.Go somewhere else! These people will continue to scam and get money however they can. DO NOT REINFORCE THIS UNLAWFUL BEHAVIOR!

About 2 weeks got a premium oil change, the full synthetic oil, and I’m so shock when I got home the maintenance required light starts to blink and lights up right away, I felt the service technician did not do the job . Because I’m driving and understand a little about vehicle, if you did not put a new oil and filter the dash biased light will tell you . So I divided to go the cheaper oil change shop, that cost me 9.99 instead of of 44.59 $ I want my money back . Never again what a rip off, I should go out and watch if there doing anything to my my car . Next time I should put a hidden camera under the hood . So sad life is so stressful already and now this !!

They guys here are great! They do great work at a great price. They are honest and I totally trust them with my Beatle. They have great prices for oil changes and you can even see about having repairs done now and paying later. I will continue to take my car there and so will my hubby. One more thing, they will run you home if your car has to stay and you need a lift.

I had a radiator replaced a year ago. I recently had issues with my car heating up took it to a mechanic he informed hoses that were used when radiator was changed were INCORRECT HOSES therefore why Im having failure with car overheating.

This particular purrfect is awesome! I have been to several. They bully you into feeling bad about how you treat your car, upsell you on things you dont need, etc. This one is nor like that. They will offer you fixes for real issues, but they understand when you tell them maybe later instead of telling you that you dont have till later, and other tactics. This one is top notch, and I would recommend it. Also, if you have a Mercedes, they do oil changes on those for $110. Very reasonable.

The management and customer service should not be trying to rip off there customers. I was a customer I wont be returning to this shop of ripp-offs!!

Dont do it. They ripped me off for thousands in warranties, causing other damage, and not claiming responsibility. They wanted to charge me $495 for a return pressure line they ruptured with faulty repairs. Ive had my high pressure line rupture twice while driving on my power steering, a dangerous safety issue.Never had any problems until they worked on it. This shop is near my house and have been here several times. 100k mile tune up, oil changes, and a brake job.Excellent customer service every time. Even offered me a ride home while my car was being fixed--much appreciated.Prices seem very fair and maybe even the cheapest? Either way the prices at this location are great for the service you receive alone.Are they perfect? No. Heres why its not 5 stars.-1 star: Ive seen rims of cars lying face down on the garage floor. Ive had sport rims scratched at other shops for same reason.Twice they forgot to rotate my tires. Kind of annoying to have to make additional trip for something that was supposed to be done-- Time is money.I will still go back, and I WOULD recommend this shop.

I went 2 days ago to make a diagnosis of my Lexus RX 350 car and they told me that I had to change 3 pieces of my car and they will charge me $ 1500 with a discount up to $ 1350.But I didnt believe them. Chevy came in at 40% less than the closest competitor with a 5 star review.Chevy and his staff:1) Communicative2) Patient3) HospitableSince I have work in the day time I had to have my SUV dropped off. He communicated through text. Saved the damaged rack and pinion arm and helped me comprehend the issue that occurred that most mechanics would not have bothered to. This is the only place I come to for my oil changes and any other auto service needs. Whenever I come in the girls at the front desk are always nice and welcoming, I usually encounter Hannah and she is awesome. When they service my car they never try to over sell me on unnecessary services like most car repair shops but when there is an issue they just make me aware of it and let me decide if I need it done without feeling pressured. I love their $9.99 oil change special and how they are willing to work with you on price if you end up having to do something more major.

Arrived around noon in a Tuesday, they were busy, and after receiving such great customer service I can see why. Nora at the front desk was very attentive and polite, the guys working in the shop were also very polite and hard at work. It was my first time visiting for a Smog Check, and I will definitely be back there again. Waiting room is comfortable with many seats, big-screen TV and complimentary water / coffee for customers. Went in for a smog check. The gentleman at the front (said his name was Vinny) was very friendly and was full of good knowledge. He even broke down the recommend option of things to take car of service wise (fluids, filters, etc.) The other employee with the cheek and bull nose piercing was very friendly as well. Overall the 2 staff members I talked to were great, it was a super quick service and I had no issues. Definitely will be coming back for future services needed.

Guys worked quick and got the job done.

Other than getting a smog check, I question their mechanical abilities. Told them I wanted my cooling system flushed. They just emptied and filled my cooling system reservoir. They were also supposed to replace my brake fluid. Same thing, they just drained and filled the reservoir. Shody workmanship. I wont have them touch my car again.

I took my 2016 Hyundai Tucson into Purrfect Auto on Fort Apache for its 30000 mile service. A service rep called me in the afternoon and told me that I needed $800+ worth of work. I am not mechanically inclined but I also own a slightly older Hyundai Santa Fe which has not required this type of work in 35000 miles. When I pointed this out, he told me that this was a more expensive car as well as a turbo charged car and there are different requirements. If I had not needed the car immediately for some long trips, I would have picked it up and taken it to another place for a second opinion. The only visible repair that I had specifically requested (the time was not showing on the display and could not be changed which is a 15-minute fix according to the dealer) was evidently not touched as it is still broken. My advice to you based on my experience is to be very wary if the price of your repair is not within your expectations. (This warning is supported by some other recent reviews).

Well I tried even after reading all the Comments, Both Good and Bad... Here is My Situation... I took my Truck in for a Diagnostic and yes it had to be Towed... After Getting my Quote, I had it Towed out of there. When I got it home, the Battery would Hardley even Crank Over, I called and was told that We had to leave the Key in the On Position... Understood, I did ask how many times they tried to start it, My Battery is Now Dead... I asked them they had to know that it was Ran To That Point, and why did they just not put it on a Charge, To Boost it back up... I was Told Thats Not what we do here, You need your car fixed, They continued with Just Jump it... Funny they know the Truck Wont Start, so what the sence of that. I Explained to them that the Battey was Fine, or 99% Fine, I even tried to start it one prior to being towed in there... All I was told, was that thats not what they Do There... Besides Wanting more Than an Arm and a Leg for my Repairs.. They very easily could have put it on Charge But Not a Chance... I had a Gut Feeling about this Place, But I gave it a fair shot... In My Opinion... I would Not Recomend them at All. Oh lets see if I get the same reply, Such as send me the Invoice # So we can look at it. Once Again, My Feeling was Right !!! UPDATE: WELL MY GUT WAS RIGHT ONCE AGAIN... AFTER I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS THE COMPUTER... I HAD IT TOWED TO ANOTHER GARAGE... GEE IT WAS ONLY A LOOSE WIRE THAT WAS CAUSING A SHORT... I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THE MANAGER... HE SAID GEE I GUESS ILL HAVE TO TALK TO THE TECH... SURE OK... I CALL BS PLAIN AND SIMPLE... This is really a great quality shop - in a city of otherwise hard-to-find repair shops you cant trust. The front desk staff is quick and efficient, the Manager is spot on and is happy to do what he can to get the job done right. Me being cheap, Ive compared service and part costs against other shops and Purrfect Auto is not only within range, but usually comes in lower than what Id pay elsewhere.Only downside is that they usually have a long(er) wait time for services... but I guess good business dealings have obviously made them a place that people can trust.Thanks for the great work on my Truck!!

Girlfriend went in for an oil change, was misinformed and pressured into a $1,200 loan for repairs via a third-party loan agency (SNAP Finance.) While the manager and assistant manager Vinny and Christian disagree with me for obvious reasons $$$$$$$, this is the experience my girlfriend had there:Spent just under three hours in the shop because the workers kept pushing for her to run her credit and agree to a loan of $1,200 for repairs on her car. She declined several times but they kept pushing for her information, all the while holding her car hostage basically. She declined multiple times but being as it was her first time in a shop she thought this was normal procedure so went along, they ran her credit, and signed her up for a $1,200 loan she NEVER ASKED FOR. They never even asked what kind of oil she wanted to use or how much the oil change was going to cost or anything regarding the oil changes, like they completely disregarded it. I honestly dont even know if they did the oil change.*She was not given any paperwork describing that she had agreed to a loan or how much would be due or what the terms were, all she got was a receipt for $1,200 with big letters saying non-refundable*I called immediately after and spoke to Vinny the manager and he said its her fault for not understanding what was happening, very professional. I called twice the next day and spoke to Christian and explained how she didnt agree to the loan and we would like to void it but he simply refused no matter what I said.I have reported them to NV Consumer Affairs as well as the DMV and am currently seeking legal counsel. If anyone has had a similar experience I would recommend you do the same.I believe they prey on women, the elderly and the misinformed. I believe they use pressure tactics, misinformation as well as very unfair business practices at this location.If you would like to be taken advantage of or coerced into signing an expensive agreement I would recommend Purrfect Auto on Fort Apache.If anybody from Purrfect Auto would like to disagree and explain their side of the story I am open to discussion.

Ive been coming here for a couple years. These guys always take care of me. I was in recently for a hard to diagnose problem where my car would stall out of nowhere. They not only figured out the problem and fixed it in a timely manner, but did so at a great price. Cant go wrong with these guys!

After spending just under 4 long hours yesterday to replace my front and rear brakes you would think the mechanics would have sense to recalibrate any ABS sensor lights that would be altered by installing all new brakes but ....No! Lights popppng on thirty minutes after I left my four hour brake job —45 minutes of this was due to no ink in the printer and unable to let me sign and receive my receipt—unacceptable. Now I am back in the middle of my work day to sit 40 +minutes so far to have them try and I figure out how to reset this sensor . Seriously ?Not happy!!

CAUTION!!! THIS PLACE WILL RUIN YOUR VEHICLE I HAD MY MERCEDES SERVICED HERE FIRST OF ALL THEY PUT THE WRONG OIL IN MY CAR THEN I TOLD THEM WHY DIDNT THEY PUT THE FULL SYNTHETIC MOBILE1 OIL IN MY CAR SO THEY DID THE OIL CHANGE SECOND TIME AND OBVIOUSLY DIDNT DRAIN THE OIL COMPLETELY CAUSE NOW MY CAR IS SAY ENGINE OIL EXCEEDS LIMITS DO NOT DRIVE IN TOP OF EVERYTHING MY REAR BUMPER HAS A CRACK DOWN IT ITS VERY MINOR BUT AT THE SAME TIME DAMAGED IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS FIXED ALL DAY TODAY AFTER BEING PATIENT FOR 7 HOURS AND CHRISTIAN TELLING ME HELLH SEND A TOW TRUCK I CALLED AND ASKED WHATS GOING ON HE HAND THE PHONE OFF TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THE GUY DAVE IS EXTREMELY RUDE SAYING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WHEN THE CAR SAYS DO NOT DRIVE. SO GUESS I WILL GET THE CAR TOWED TO A DIFFERENT SHOP DO NIT TRUST THIS PLACE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER OR YOUR VEHICLE IM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS AT THIS POINT IVE EVEN REACHED OUT TO CORPORATE NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE

Dont ever visit the eastern and st rose area my vehicle has been there 11 mons . I feel like theyve taking told advantage of me bcuz Im woman total freaking nightmare. My vehicle has been been towed to a dealership along with two of their other location and its very clear that none of there mechanics no what there doing.

Okay, I get that you have to make a living but....The fact that you tried to make me pay for a whole new coolant thermostat and other parts (which were also brand new) is questionable at best. Also, a coolant housing is only $18+ at Kias dealership, not $100+. If youre going to lie to me in my face, at least you did it right in my eyes :DRegardless, I am not going back to your establishment, my grandmother is not going back, my mother is not going back, my cousins are also not going back as well.

Perfect experience every time ! Chevy, the mechanics, and the front desk staff are superb ! Excellent quality work. Prices 30-50% less than competition. Very honest and upfront. No upsell and very forthcoming with part costs. They often give price breaks and it is nice to have someone to trust :) I will always give them a referral.

I trusted these guys to do a front end overhaul and they left bolts loose, brake lines unclipped, didnt not replace the ball joints - only the control arms with aftermarket parts. No shock bushings. Failed to diagnose worn front brake pads. Cost me new rotors later. Provided no written statement of work. No labor and parts breakdown. Took it to dealer. Had to pay again to get it fixed correctly.

VERY DISHONEST PLACE. Went in for oil change and the mechanic told me that I need to replace a front axle or else the tire would fall out. He quoted me close to $500 for this work. I went elsewhere where they charged me $10 to tighten a few bolts.These people at Purrfect Auto lure you into their store with cheap oil change service. Then they will try to over-sell you services that you dont need. Why replace a functional part if you can just tighten a few bolts to fix it?!?! Crazy...

Purrfect Auto is not what the name describes, this auto service left my filter for my oil change many times without me knowing until I took my car somewhere else (Walmart) to get a oil change. Thats why its only 9.99$ its without the new filter. I Now have broken pieces of paper and filter floating all around my engine and have to keep having a oil change every week until it flushes out! THEY CHARGE FOR SERVICES NOT PERFORMED! So, I suggest for everyone to double check their work!!! Look through the photos and you will find what was left in my engine and the Filter.

This shop took care of my car issues and also helped me work around my budget for the emergency repairs. I appreciate their work and will be back soon for any future work ill need. They helped relief tons of stress. Thanks David and his Team.

The receptionist is very friendly and they have a clean and comfortable waiting room. The mechanic Chevy took the time and effoet to explain exactly what they were doing with my vehicle. The wait was a bit longer than anticipated but if you want quality service, its worth it.

This place is definitely the place to go for an oil change. George was more than willing to explain the difference of price for synthetic oil and what was included. Best auto shop experience for sure!

Reasonably priced smog check...$11 total. Only took about 30 minutes (busy shop) with helpful staff.

The people are nice there. They do try to get you out fast but theyre usually pretty busy. Besides that theyre great service Chevy takes care of you.

I literally live across the street from another purrfect auto on Charleston. I drive all the way to this location because of the excellent customer service!!. I had an incident to where I dropped my phone, and some young kids took it. I was so mad! But Chevy did everything right and calmed me down, he got my phone back & even gave me a oil change on the house. I definitely recommend this location! 😊😊
