WOW....I am totally BLOWN AWAY by the excellent service, and customer service, of this business!!! My A/C wasnt working at the height of the worst heat wave, UGH! I took my car in at 5:00 pm (new customer). The owner, Bobby, personally helped my on the spot - didnt tell me to just leave my car. He went through all the diagnostics, ruling out the small things first, until he came to the correct diagnosis. Had to order the part. Gave an estimate of up to 3 days to complete the repair based on how long the part would take. Get this - they had the car done by 5:00 pm THE NEXT DAY (meaning I was also able to return the rental car after one day). Bobby clearly truly cares about his customers, is ethical, and is a straight up nice and friendly person. It is SO GREAT - and rare - to have found an honest, trustworthy, reliable auto repair shop!!! I went in not knowing if I would get ripped off, or not. Its always a possibility in this business. Bobby and Michael were fantastic helping me! My car was having issues with the battery/alternator which they discovered had to do with corroded wiring. When I got my car back originally the battery light came back on later that same day, I contacted Bobby directly and he told me to bring it back the next day. He and Michael took it upon themselves to personally look at the issue and fix it plus test drive it the rest of the night to ensure the problem was fixed. They were very attentive, answered all my questions and explained in great detail, were personable, and went above & beyond. This shop has wonderful customer service and get the job done with great pricing! 5 out of 5 definitely recommend and will be a returning customer.

I searched for an HONEST auto repair and praise God, I found 5 Star! I’d give them 7 stars if I could. I was very unhappy with my previous mechanic who I suspected was ripping me off. Mike and Brooke were the epitome of great service. Mike took my engine which the other guy wrote off and gave me an astronomical estimate to “fix” and restored it like new... for a fraction of the price! You can look near and far but nobody beats 5 Star for honesty, great service with smiles all around. Dear Lord, shower your blessings upon this business and its people. Amen!

Bobby was Unbelievable.Within 30 minutes he found what was wrong with my car engine. One shop wanted to replace the whole transmission.Another the whole engine. Nobody knew how to work on older cars, but not Bobby. Very high level of integrity & honesty. I,m a lifetime customer.

My neighbor had recommended this business to me as I live in the area. I decided to give them a try. I had a warning light indicator on my BMW which no one could figure out. Within an hour the owner figured out the issue which proved to be a major repair which did not warrant me doing as I am going to be trading the car in. These gentlemen are honest and efficient which are hard to find. I would absolutely return and have no hesitancy recommending them to friends and family.

My 60 year old British classic didnt run when I brought it to Mike at 5 Star Auto Repair. Today it does!Mike knew what was needed and he got it done. I cant ask for more out of a mechanic.I then asked the shop to put together a punch list that would bring the car to a road safe condition. They picked up on the fact that much of the rubber and plastic parts were aged and cracking. Then they constructed a list showing priorities, got the parts ordered and will have my car in the best condition it has seen in a couple of decades.

Very competent, professional, and fair prices for repairs!!! I recently needed my car checked out due to a quiet, squealing noise under the hood. My mechanic, (corvette specialist), went on vacation for a couple of months so I needed to find a place to take my C7 Corvette. I refuse to use the Chevy Dealers because of the incompetency I’ve dealt with over the years (this is my 5th corvette). I saw the reviews on 5 star Automotive and I was honestly shocked to see that many excellent reviews. I decided to do a drive by and Immediately felt comfortable to go inside and talk with them because the parking lot had many cars including 5 additional corvettes from the early 60’s to a current C7 ZO6, many regular vehicles, and hot rods. They work on all cars. After speaking with Mike, who has a tremendous amount of knowledge, I decided to drop my car off. They fixed the water pump, looked for any additional possible issues (found nothing else wrong) and charged a very reasonable amount. The dealer quoted me over three hundred higher!! I will be taking my vehicles to them from now on!

My 1977 Jeep CJ7 sat in storage for an extended period of time and wasnt running great. 5 Star Auto did a awesome job of figuring out the problem and Bobby really tuned her up great! They gave me a great price and didnt try to gouge me. The jeep is running great! I will continue to use them for all my automotive needs.

5 Star lives up to their name!!! I went to a few different mechanic shops to get quotes to get my wiring fixed for my headlight. Other shops were asking double what 5 Star was asking!!! They fixed my wiring the same day and also fixed my other headlight with no extra charge. Bobby was really professional, he was the one that helped me and did a great job. I’ll definitely return here and would recommend the shop to anyone who doesn’t wanna be overcharged and have there vehicle fixed promptly and correct.

I brought my car in with engine damage. The team here gave me no BS answers and recommendations to save me money even though those recommendations ended up not resulting in billed hours to the shop. They value telling it to you straight over finding ways to bill you for work. Best shop on this side of town.

My story is long, but the short of it is that the dealer lied to me in order to get out of doing a warranty repair right as my warranty was about to expire. This little lie had me seriously thinking about dropping $3,000 + labor on aftermarket parts to just replace the entire system that was giving me grief. Instead, I brought it in to 5 Star. They went through a detailed diagnostic process as recommended by the manufacturer and found and fixed the problem. Thats the short story. The longer story involves intentional deceit by a local Chevy dealer telling some strange lies to get out of doing a repair on a part that, I learned later, is a common failure point on my car. Its not easy finding a shop thats committed to finding a problem, and then doing the actual fix properly. This one little problem caused a lot of big problems, and thanks to 5 Star taking the time to properly diagnose and repair my car, it runs (and sounds) better than it has the entire time Ive owned it.

Mike is the man! Got me right in and took care of the issue in just a couple of hours. AND it was 60% cheaper than the dealership. Excellent service!

So, I found 5 Star Auto Repair initially on Yelp. I had called about 4-5 other mechanics in my area about fuel injector cleaning services ($60-100). When I asked for a quote from Bobby at 5 Star, he told me to save my money and head over for a test drive. You see, I know nothing about cars, and my car was doing something really funky, which I thought could be fixed with a fuel injector cleanse. Never has a mechanic asked me to come down so they could test drive my car to try to figure out whats wrong, I usually just get some BS spiel about the ~services~ they would perform (thus usually racking up hundreds of dollar$$$ in repairs).When I arrived, he diagnosed my car... guess what... NADA! No error messages. Super weird, right? Well, we hopped in my car and he drove it to see what I was talking about. I think it became some mission for him to figure out what could be the problem (and this ladies and gentlemen is what separates good mechanics/techs from amazing ones-Yes, he was amazing).Anyway, Bobby saved me some money. Helped me figure out what my problem was, and gave me lots of recommendations.Take a from a city gal that knows nothing about cars... GO TO BOBBY.

He changed my temp sensor and was very kind to my son that was asking questions will definitely be my new mechanics

He gave me some suggestions on what could be the issue and asked to bring the car in. I dropped off the car on Thursday morning with Michael and by the afternoon they have the car fixed. I would highly recommend this shop. I wasnt sure if I actually needed a whole new transmission of just some parts on it fixed. With that said he checked my transmission out called his sister shop to see what could be done and I had no choice but to replace. He kept me updated with issues with my transmission and told me my options and then at he had it towed to the other shop to be replaced. He was honest with me about my options and there costs/values and was able to get me a great deal with a great warranty. Very satisfied!

I called a bunch of mechanics, looking for someone to work on our families 1931 Ford Model A, called specialty mechanics, called old school mechanics, called restoration mechanics no one wanted to work on our Model A in nearly all original condition.Called the guys down at 5 Star, and Brooke, Bobby, Mike, and Scott were all great people to deal with. They took amazing care of our vehicle, and when we came to pick it up we were treated like local celebrities with all the mechanics tellings us about how much they loved the car, and loved working on it. The work took a bit of time but this is to be expected with the current state of the world and shipping delays for parts, absolutely no fault of theirs, but every time I called they were always fully transparent with what was going on, what they were doing etc. Very nice to see a group of honest mechanics still around. Not only are they honest guys, but they know their stuff. Model As are not at all complicated to work on, but many mechanics wont because there is 0 tech and 0 way to diagnose a problem via a computer. Despite this, the team down here got our Model A running better than Ive ever seen in my life time. We are very happy with the service we received and look forward to bringing some of our other cars in soon!

EXCELLENT REPAIR SHOP!!! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! REASONABLE AND AFFORDABLE PRICES!!! VERY RELIABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL KINDS OF CARS, SUVS AND TRUCKS!!! We cant say enough good things about 5 Star Auto, its owner and mechanics and the repairs that were done to our car and Suburban, after bringing both of them to various other shops over months and being disappointed and frustrated. We brought our Lincoln to a repair shop that told us they could replace our driver side inside door panel, no problem. Bought the door panel online, after we checked with the shop to make sure it was the correct one. They said it was, ordered it and brought it to the shop. Went to pick up the car. PROBLEM! They replaced the door panel, but we no longer could adjust the seats back and forth! ( good thing were both tall ), and now we couldnt use the button to open the gas cap! We would have to open the trunk every time we get gas to open the gas cap! So convenient ! WHAT A HASSEL! When we asked WHY- they told us they never said all the electronics in the door would work!!! Are you kidding me!!! Yes, they replaced the door panel, but now we were left with other problems. We paid for their labor and took our car home feeling taken advantage of and angry. Our Suburban went into another shop because the check engine light kept coming on and the car kept stalling out. The repair shop kept it a couple of days. Told us when we picked it up, it was the fuel injectors, that they replaced one and cleaned the other. It ran ok for the ride home. Took it out again and it started doing the same thing. Took it back 2 more times. NO GO! LITERRALY! Thought lets take it to a GMC dealer, after all its their truck! Told us after keeping it a day, they couldnt work on it, they didnt have the right equipment. They didnt charge us. HOWEVER, the second good thing that they did was recommend us to 5 STAR AUTO which is a little bit of a distance from our home. We decided to give it one more try. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!!! Within a day our Suburban was running with no check engine light coming on and no stall outs! WE WERE DELIGHTED!!! Our Lincoln is now good as new, electronics all working! We were called and told our car was done after only 1hour and a half of bringing it to the shop!!! WHERE DO THEY DO THAT!!! 5 STAR AUTO DOES!!! We are so appreciative of 5 STAR AUTO for all their fine work, repairs, reasonable prices and their great customer service with a SMILE! Thank you so much! I own a vehicle that developed an unusual and intermittent problem that turned out to be challenging to diagnose. Ive been taking my 1987 Buick Grand National to 5 Star Auto for around 7 years and I can say Bobby is a honest fair man that runs a shop with customer service. Which is also very hard to find today. Ive had a full Exhaust kit done Radiator replacement, cooling system, and full electrical wiring done for my tail lights as well as work on my turbo Bobby delivered again and again. Bobby always went above and beyond for good customer service and I highly recommend him.

Helped us with timing and some other little things to get fixed and have our bronco running good. Definitely consider bringing more work.

I was traveling through Vegas mid afternoon on a Friday when my van broke down and I was in a pinch. Bobby took a look at my van and came up with a plan within minutes, it was a big fix and him and Michael stayed late till 8pm to fix it! Amazing service super nice guys- the miracle I needed! had great conversation with Michael while I was hanging at the shop. Bobby really hooked it up on the bill, discounting multiple items and even throwing in some services for free! 10/10 would recommend these guys to fix your car and fix your day! Would bring my car here for maintence regularly if I lived in Las Vegas.

I was on my way back from Nevada off road stopped in there talk to a gentleman named Bobby about my 65 Ranchero I was having a hard time finding brake parts and he happily give me some info and this place is really awesome Bobby is super cool really chill in the vibe is super cool I would recommend this place to anybody with a classic car.
