Had a serious problem that needed to be taken care of immediately, and he had it done the next day. Where someone had the opportunity to really screw me over he not only did a fantastic job, but at a more than reasonable price. I have already recommend him to several friends.

DO NOT USE FOR UHAUL! I cannot speak to their mechanic skills, but based on Rosss rude and threatening demeanor, I would never recommend anyone use this business. Couldnt even get a good morning out before he was dismissing me. Not sure if having a bad day, but customers of any kind dont deserve that treatment. I strongly recommend you use anyone other than Ross Auto Care for anything they claim to do.

My mustang broke down after 7 pm on Tuesday . I called and they were there within the hour . They fixed my car the next morning . Very professional, reasonably priced, and fast and friendly service . I would recommend this garage to anyone who needs any kind of work that needs to be done . They also offer a 20.00 oil change every day . So please give them a call with any work that needs to be done to your car .

Joe is nice. And it appears he does good work But it fixed something not immediately in my budget which put me financially in a bind. He said he would eat the cost but I would feel guilty not paying someone for their work.

I bought a classic Muscle car sight unseen. They went down and did an amazing inspection including pictures. The report was more detailed than I probably would have even looked. It was done very fast and for a great price. I now have piece of mind on my purchase.

My car was making a weird noise (sounded like metal scraping on metal), so I called to see if they had any time to fit me in that day. After I explained what it sounded like, Joe told me it sounded like it was my brakes and that he didnt want me driving around on bad brakes so to come in and hed try to fit me in asap. He had it all done within an hour (ordered parts, got them delivered, replaced, etc.). He also negotiated for the best price on the parts. He was completely transparent in how all the pricing worked, and overall it was an excellent experience. We will definitely be returning here and telling our family and friends about it as well. Thank you!

This place was great! Came in after they were closed on a Saturday. Still took the time to look at my car. Diagnosed the problem and ordered the part I needed that evening. Told me he would have it done by noon on Monday and then got me a ride home. Super nice people and punctual which I really appreciate. Hopefully I won’t be needing any service anytime soon but when I do, I will definitely be back.

Joe and his crew was amazing! The only shop I trust. It was unfortunate for me my alternator malfunctioned but luckily I called Ross’s auto and they make it very convenient for me. They even had the towing company out within 10 mins when I was stuck on the highway back in June of 2019. Now a year later my belt blow. They came out the to pick up my car the second time and done within a jiffy. Truly grateful I found this company when in need. Thanks Joe!

This is the WORST place to ever get your car fixed! Im not gonna lie at the time my car broke down they were there for me and repaired my car! NOT EVEN 3 MONTHS LATER MY CAR IS BROKE DOWN ABOUT THE SAME PART! AND ROSS TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING HE CAN DO AND I GAVE THEM $560 THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND I WOULDNT REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE!

Have always got good service

Being 400 miles from home with vehicle problems makes for an unpleasant trip, but Joe made our situation better for us. I must say I really do not write reviews for businesses, but this one was necessary. My son’s car broke down passing through Lakeland on the way to a job interview and I had the car towed to the dealership. Once the diagnosis determined the problem, the estimate was not to my liking. I called Ross Auto Care because of reviews and it could not have been a better decision. They came and picked up the car, towed it to their shop, and started to work on the car at around 4:00. I believe the business closed at 5:00. They worked on my son’s car until completion at 7 pm. 2 hours after closing so my son wasn’t stranded in Lakeland! Unfortunately, the car broke down again on the way home, to no fault of Ross Auto Care, they fixed exactly what I asked them to fix per the dealership. I called them the next morning, and long story short, they repaired the car. The thing that struck me most is they really care about the customer. After I called the next morning, the owner called me back from his cell phone on his way to work. He was very apologetic, he called the guys working on the car and asked them if they crossed their t’s and dotted their i’s. He spoke about how he sat in the office the night before with my son and explained what they were doing to the car, even after his work day was well over. The thing that struck me most is, he called me at around 8 pm that night and asked if my son made it home ok. My son is new to Florida, but I will make sure that the only place that services his car is Ross Auto Care.

My husband and I were in need of auto repairs and was told about Mr Ross in an Auto Zone store. My husband called him last week for an estimate and got a great estimate! Today he went there and had the services done. He performed the services with no problem. He also noticed that my battery was going bad which we kind of suspected before we got there.. Since my husband is on disability he explained that he couldnt afford to pay for a battery and the other work performed. Mr Ross put in a brand new battery anyway and told my husband to pay him when he get his check! This man is a God send! While there are so many others out there only working to rip people off, this man cares about getting you up and running. That equates to he cares about you! While my husband was there another customer came in and started praising him for the way he was treated as well. So we want to publicly thank Mr Ross for his great work and his compassion! A rare combination in this day and time! The car is running great!

Joe was very pleasant and helpful, and all around great guy.

My car started making creaking noises so I took it to Ross Auto Care, I was charged $500 to replace the tire rods and rack and pinion. I was told these parts came from the JUNKYARD and the issue was not even fixed. A few days later my car began creaking again. I recently took it to a new mechanic and was told the issue was not even related to the rack and pinion or tire rods, it was 3 totally different parts causing the issue. Joe Ross is a scam and Ill never take my car here again. A waste of $500 that could have went towards ACTUALLY fixing the issue.

Let me start out by saying thank you to Mr. Ross for being so hospitable during my experience for an estimate. I was turned away at Maurices without them even looking. I let them know exactly how I felt about it in a review COMPLETELY opposite of this! I tipped Mr. Ross even though he wanted nothing for his estimate. That in itself is a testament to his humbleness as a businessman. While I have not had service from him at this very moment I will without question after Fema gets his bill for water intruding this very morning. I recommend him highly even though the structure itself could use some cleaning. It is an Auto repair and Uhaul business (dirt and grease should be expected). Look at that he can even aid when youre moving. 😎 Cars in the garage being serviced and lined up outside waiting to be fixed. Phone ringing off the hook for his experience. Some of these look to be vehicles left behind by customers who didnt pay, but to me even if it isnt the reason theyre sitting that matters not at the end of the day. Even saw work being done on hogs (motorcycles for the people in the cheap seats). 😉 With that being said. If you want quality work without your pockets feeling violated Joe Ross has the solution to your problems in Automotive Service! UNLIKE MAURICES wont even look at your vehicle for a paid diagnostic!

This was long overdue but I had some issues with my car and ended up taking my car twice for repairs but overall it was a great experience reasonable prices and mr.ross is a very honest man I will be going to him for future repairs
