I’ve never had such a bad experience with any shop till this one. My tire blew on Friday, they came out to tow my car because of how bad it was blown. All I wanted was to have my spare or used tire put on. I get no call Friday with an update, I get no call Saturday with an update. I called around noon Saturday and they were already gone for the day. I get a text message saying they ordered a new tire and was waiting for it to come in. I never asked for a new tire nor did anyone ask me if that’s what I wanted. No communication what so ever. I went the whole weekend without a car just over a blown tire. I finally talked to someone Monday and they tell me it’s going to be around $300. WHAT!? No way! I explained to the guy I just wanted my spare on, then he says “oh, well it’s been ready since Friday” I was so upset. I finally picked my car up later that night, shop was already closed. When I go to open the back door for my daughter, there is my blown tire in my backseat. I was furious! Who does that?!? Out of all the cars I’ve owned and shops I’ve dealt with I have never seen that. I call them the next day and they guy says they put it in there for insurance purposes. I am not sure why the lack of communication was with this company. I noticed the positive reviews so I don’t know what happened with my situation.

I’ve been coming to Joyce Auto for a few visits now with an older xterra. (ex: cam sensors, blown AC, Tow-truck) I’ve mostly communicated with smiley Bob who’s been incredibly welcoming & respectful when I’m there to make sure I’m taken care of along with most of the staff. I genuinely appreciate the honest communication, prices seem really fair compared to past shops I’ve been to that can make your pockets look forward to your rice and bean dinners for the next few months. Car always comes back better than I left it and that’s what you want. So 5 stars, keep up the good work.

A case of the Monday’s cured. Nothing like having car trouble on a Monday to start the day. I showed up work to only realize my car was smoking. I looked up Joyce automotive and saw the great reviews. So I decided to take it there.Once the Tow truck arrived. He agreed that Joyce Automotive were great people. When my car was delivered they kept me up to date.Joyce automotive was available to take my car that day which I wasn’t expecting because you know it’s a Monday. They gave me an estimate of what they knew was wrong but said they had to check if there was going to be more after it fixed. They did a test afterwards and nothing showed up wrong. Also the final price was lower than the estimate. Which I believe never happens when going to a mechanic.I was an hour away from home and was so grateful my car was fixed that day so I didn’t have to rent a car or find a ride home.I am going to bring my repairs to them from now on even though they are not close to home. Great customer service and service! 10 stars!!!

I had an issue at another shop and since Joyce had towed my truck there, and Chris the driver did such a nice job moving my truck, I decided to give these guys a crack at fixing my truck. They went and retrieved my truck from the other shop, free of charge, evaluated quickly and had me up and running in no time. Joe, their diesel guy was a professional, as was everyone I spoke to. Couldnt be happier. I own five vehicles and will rely on Joyce for help in the future. Thank you, Chris and Joe.Edit: True I got back on the road right away. However I continued to have issues intermittently with my truck. Fueling issues from what I understand, can be very tricky on these diesels. So giving Joyce the benefit of the doubt, I returned three more times so they could work out what the issue was. $2500 plus in repair work and Im now stuck on the side of I-4 with a cyclical hesitation and total loss of oil pressure. Every time I get my truck back I am assured everything is good. Im sure they gave it their best shot and they were very helpful with towing and such, but bottom line is my truck is still broken. I have to find another shop. I am currently having it towed to Big 3 out in Tampa. Hopefully, they can get me sorted out.Edit 2: Big 3 diagnosed my problem as a bad alternator, which Joyce had installed, genuine Motorcraft item. Joyce honored the warranty, delivered a new one to Big 3, and reimbursed me for the labor. Truck seems to be ok. Hopefully, this is the end of a long, puzzling journey. I believe Joyce did their level best to take care of my truck, and in the end, on their own accord, made it right. First class attitude from everyone at Joyce. Integrity is paramount in this business and Joyce understands this and has earned my trust.

We had an amazing experience with Joyce Automotive in Lakeland, FL. Our engine pretty much broke apart on the freeway and AAA recommended Joyce automotive as an approved AAA auto repair shop. So glad AAA recommended them. Bob Davidson, assistant manager, was so thorough by reaching out to the local Kia dealership to inquire about any engine recalls. We immediately received a phone call from Bob about an engine recall with Kia! What a blessing- With 125,000 miles on our current engine, Bob was happy to deliver the message that we would be receiving a new engine at no cost to us! Joyce Automotive allowed us to leave our car in their parking lot until Kia could tow it because we lived out of the area. Thank you, Joyce Automotive… Amazing Customer Service!

Bob was fantastic! The tow and service guys were as well. It was only a couple hours from the time they towed it from my house to when I was able to pick it up. Replaced the CV axle at a reasonable price and did an excellent job. I cant say enough good things about these guys! Thank you so much.

It has been years since I personally used them. My sister needed help and I recommend them. I wasnt pleased with the way she was treated costing her more than should be the case.

I spoke with Ed about 8:30 am, explained my situation, he quoted a repair cost, and I told him Id have the vehicle there by noon. It was closer to 2 pm in reality. I was not expecting the car back that day. 2 hours later I got a call saying the repair was done. I picked up the car the same day I dropped it off late!! These guys are great! The price quoted was the price paid. I would highly recommend Joyce .

I took my 2017 Jeep Wrangler in because my ABS & Traction Control lights were on with some random grinding noises every time I started my Jeep. These guys diagnosed the problem and called me back with a solution. I gave the green light and it was fixed quickly. It is now two weeks later and I have had no issues at all with it again. I had my RV serviced here while I was passing through town. They solved a front end vibration (separating tread) and did an oil change while they were at it. I was referred to Joyce from my family member needing some work done on my 2014 dodge ram 1500. I was more than pleased with the customer service, knowledge and expertise I received. You don’t get the feel here like you do at most mechanic shops that they’re top priority is making money off of you. These guys are honest and are not going to do more work than your vehicle needs just to get more money out of you. Being mechanically inclined myself but not having the time or resources to do it myself I decided to have it done by them. I basically knew what was wrong with my truck and after listening to them after they were done I could tell they weren’t just giving me the runaround and trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I had a very positive experience with these guys. I recently had a bunch of work done on my 2010 Honda Pilot at the dealer, but my wife said she didn’t feel safe driving the car anymore due to a variety of symptoms (loose steering wheel, floorboard sounds, knocking metal on metal). I showed up to Joyce and they found that my front control arms were loose which was causing all these symptoms. We originally thought that whatever was happening was going to be expensive to fix since the dealer couldn’t find anything wrong after a follow up.Joyce got me in and out of there in a few hours and even took the time to go for a drive with me in the car to help reproduce the issues. Oh, and they helped me get my keys out of the car when I accidentally locked them inside upon arrival. :facepalm:I’ll be coming back for sure

My first experience was during thanksgiving break when my car AC broke down. I called about 6 or 7 places and they were either closed or not taking customers. Joyce automotive took my car within the next hour, offered an honest diagnostic, fair price and great follow up. Then I completely forgot to leave a review but last month I had a flat tire and I realized very late on a Sunday night. I called GEICO and the shop assigned to assist me was Joyce automotive, again, wonderful service and they took my car first thing in the morning to repair my tire. I just want to say that Nate at Joyce Automotive is a gem to that company. He changed my oil pressure sensor and then saw that it did not make a difference and then removed it and put mine back. That is integrity and I highly recommend this company. I have had other repairs on my vehicle along with another vehicle and I continue to be impressed by the service and the care to me as a customer and to my vehicle. What a breath of fresh air to be serviced by a company that clearly is not desperate for a quick sale but is committed to long term customer relationships.

New to the area and chose to bring my car to get a tire fixed. It had a screw in it. When checking in I mentioned that we were new to the area. I brought my 15 year old Jeep into Joyce last week when it started overheating (it’s always something with a Jeep). I had never used Joyce Automotive before, but they were the only shop that I contacted that would let me bring it in immediately, so I figured I’d give them a shot.I am quite happy I did. I talked with both Butch and Nate at the front desk and both were very personable and knowledgeable (which is a nice break from the surly and condescending that I usually get with other shops). They replaced my fan clutch and thermostat and investigated a host of other issues for me in less than 24 hours. They even ran the Jeep for several hours afterward to ensure there were no latent cooling issues after doing the repair.I felt their prices were very reasonable (especially considering the additional investigation and testing they did without billing me). I even got a text from the owner Ed a few days later, to ensure that everything is working as expected and that I am satisfied with my experience. I am a business owner myself, and Joyce is one of the few shops I’ve used that is run the way that I feel a local business should be run. Attention to detail, honesty, and good customer service go a long way in my book. I will definitely be taking my vehicles back to Joyce in the future.

I arrived at Joyces to get a second opinion on a brake pad service that my dealer insisted I needed already. They provided a thorough explanation as to what the actual status of my brake pads were and that I wasnt even close to needing them replaced. Nate and his boss were extremely helpful in covering all the details. I ended up buying wipers out of their shop just for their honesty. Next time when I actually need service, I know where to go now. You guys rock!

I had my truck towed today. Anthony got my truck started for me, but as soon as I got it on the road it died. He was more than happy to put it on the truck and drop it off at the shop of my choice. They have fair pricing and excellent response time. He was at my location in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this company.

I used to go to Firestone until I ran into some issues. Since Ive been at Joyce they have been great. Very friendly, communicate the issues and what they are doing to repair things. They are a great place to go and I highly recommend. Nate is always super nice and checks in to let me know how the process is going when working on repairs. I’ve never reviewed a place before. It seemed like a waste of my time to actually go online and write a review, even though I read reviews all the time. Yet here I am, because this place is really unique and one of a kind. I came in this morning because the protective shield on the underside of my car tore off. When I arrived at Joyce Automotive, they immediately looked at my car. They even brought me into the shop to show me what they were doing so I could understand. When they were done, the worker handed me my keys and let me know he had also checked and fixed my tires because the tire light was on and needed maintenance. I walked up to the counter to pay... and they said “that’s it, have a good day!” I was dumbfounded. I didn’t need to pay? They laughed and said, “nope! Just leave us a great review!” So here I am. Leaving a great review. Because they were better than great.

This place is AMAZING. I came in this morning with a nail through my tire & needing a patch. They got right to work on my tire & I was in and out in 20 minutes max PLUS full air in my tires. Everyone was very kind, helpful and educated. If you need anything done to your baby (car), this is the place to go!!!

The staff was very friendly, but they have sold both me and my parents lemon cars. They promise theyre sturdy cars, but within the year I had the car I spent over $2500 in repairs. Once it broke down three days after Id brought my car in for a different break down. Ended up having to just junk the thing because they wanted another $1400 in repairs. Theyre an okay garage if you want an oil change or small repairs, but definitely do not buy a car here!

I had one of the best experiences dealing with Joyce Auto. I work nearby but live an hour away.My A/C stops working on the way to work today. While at work I mention my issue to a co-worker who tells me about how he takes all of his familys vehicles to Joyce Auto and how honest andgreat the entire staff is. My coworker tells me to ask for Butch.I take my vehicle and meet Butch. What a knowledgeable and great mechanic! He says what he thinks the issue might be and provides an estimate of the work. While I was there I asked for an oil change. Can I tell you the final bill was lower than what he originally estimated and its warranted. Ieven saved money with my AAA discount. I told Butch hes earned my business and I will betaking my vehicle there for service going forward.What an amazing group of honest and experienced mechanics who work in your best interest!

Brought my car in a month ago fully expecting to have multiple problems with my car ( the dealership made it seem like my car was about to fall apart). Joyce automotive looked over my car and never saw the issues that the dealership had indicated. Ed and Butch were very knowledgeable and had recommendations in the future for maintenance but found nothing pressing to fix at that time. I will definitely be back for all my automotive needs!
