Extremely disappointed with this business. After reading through the google reviews, we decided to take our Infinity QX80 to this shop to replace our speed sensor on our transmission. After multiple inquiries regarding our vehicles status (after being left at the shop for a month), my husband was blocked from calling the business’s direct line. There was no communication about the part arriving or the part being incorrect. I had to call from my phone to get an update to find out that the part was wrong from the business they ordered from. We had enough. When we went to pick up our vehicle, the battery was dead. Be cautious, as the communication and expectations were extremely poor.

A to z Auto had my vehicle for 4 months to work on the transmission did not perform at all the work,Lakeland transmission had my truck in 2 days and was repaired and done an excellent job I give them five stars because they preformed quality workmanship .

I took my H3 Hummer in for a rebuild on the transmission and I would recommend this shop 100 times over!Myron the owner was very professional friendly and upfront with everything. I was quoted a price and a 3 day turn around. They actually had it ready the morning of the 3rd day.I just took it back in for them to perform the 2 week post checkup and all looks great!I would recommend this shop hands down... My car engine light was on referencing the time and belt should be changed. Mr. Jerry fixed my car and charged me $465. I went back and he erased the check engine light off. Said it was nothing. Me and my 16 yr. old daughter went up the road to Tampa. The entire engine went out. The car stalled We barely made it to the side of the road and we were almost hit by a truck. We were forced to pay $175 to get back home due to not having A A A. Mr. Jerry came to my house told me my motor was gone. Never saw him again. If he would said it was the Timing belt. We would have gladly changed it. He was charging me for everything and anything besides that. I feel like he took advantage of me because I was a single parent and knew because I needed my car, I would pay for anything he told me was the problem regarding my car. Now we have no car. While he drives around we have no car. They havent tried to help either. I had been coming to them, but this takes the cake. I will never come back to this place.

My Nissan Armada had a funny clicking noise. I brought it in and Rodney did the diagnosis and repair. The work was done promptly and at a reasonable price. Its a little cluttered there but I wouldnt let that discourage you. At least for me, I am very satisfied with their service.

My transmission quit 110 miles from home, I had it towed to a dealership in Lakeland, they gave me an estimate of $4,000+. I talked with Mr. Waters @ Lakeland Transmission and had the SUV towed from the dealership to Lakeland Transmission, they repaired it for less than half the quote of the dealership. It has been 3 weeks and a tank of gas, the transmission has worked as good as new. My valve cover gaskets were leaking BAD. I had the valve cover gaskets replaced yesterday for 1/2 the cost of the dealership.I am 76 years old and up to about 6 years ago I did all of my mechanical work myself, including rebuilding a C-4 Transmission in a 66 Mustang years ago.I am no longer nimble enough to do mechanical work myself. From my experience with Lakeland Transmission, Myron Waters, owner, will be my go to auto repair in the future.Terry Parker

Terrible customer service. We were told itll be done this day then this day then this day. 2 weeks later our vehicle still is not ready. Only good here is that they do warranty their work and hold to that warranty. Would not recommend to anyone.

I’m so thankful for these wonderful people! Took my truck to a chain repair store and they told me I needed a new motor and quoted me 5300.00. I didn’t except that and decided to get a second opinion. That second opinion saved me 5000.00! I highly recommend Lakeland Transmission Repair!!

Very pleased with our service, as we are out of state, it is sometimes difficult for us to find repair shops that dont take advantage of our long distance. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Limped my ancient 1971 Chevy C10 in as it wouldnt shift out of 1st gear. They dropped what they were doing, jacked the truck up, checked it out and found a kinked vacuum line. (Which I will take up with another mechanic who just replaced the starter). They wouldnt even charge me for their time. Myron and Company rock!

Absolutely amazing service! I thought my transmission was going out and i was expecting to pay over $1,000 to get it fixed. They called my the next day and told me the transmission was fine! And they only needed to do some maintenance to my engine. Car is running awesome!

60 days after the transmission rebuild at 1/2 the cost of the dealer, the Explorer runs like new. The valve cover gaskets were leaking on this 2007 Explorer, again he repaired for less than 1/2 the dealer quote.

I had a loud noise coming from my drive train. I took my Jeep Wrangler to these guys based on their Google reviews. I was very pleased that I did. They diagnosed the problem as a broken spider gear, they completed the work at a very affordable price. A less reputable shop might have told me that there was more wrong and charged me twice as much. I would definitely recommend this shop and Myrons staff for your drive train/transmission needs.

After my mothers car sat at another repair shop for 5 days with no estimate I called Myran. He immediately knew what the issue was and over the phone was able to give me a rough estimate. We had him pick it up and granted it was Christmas week he had it ready in no time. The price was even less than he quoted. Would absolutely use again but hope I dont need to.

I bought my 2010 Kia used back in 2012. Its a 5 speed manual and ALWAYS had issues with a sticky/slow clutch in spite of the low miles when I bought it. Took it to the dealership once and they adjusted but never fixed the actual issue so I just put up with it. Fast forward a couple of years and the clutch was getting pretty bad. Took it back to the dealer and they wanted $1600 for a new clutch. I sorely needed a second opinion, so I researched and contacted Transmission Repair Lakeland, and I couldnt be happier with the results. Myron and his crew are honest and knowledgeable and FAIR. Saved $400 over the dealership and they did a top-notch job replacing the clutch and getting my car back on the road feeling better than it ever has in the time Ive owned it. Much appreciated, guys!
