First of all, I would have given them 5 stars if not for two things: 1) They are a little bit on the expensive side (though still comparable and fair), and 2) When they charge their standard hourly rate to diagnose and troubleshoot a vehicle, they don’t deduct any of that charge from the price of the repairs (which is what I’ve been used to). Aside from those two things, I found Willie Automotive to be honest, highly competent, professional and very friendly. I’ve had a lot of work done on an old Buick that I’m not quite ready to get rid of yet, and I’ve been extremely happy with the quality and speed of their work. I highly recommend them, especially if you’ve had problems finding an honest mechanic.

Great little shop, hard to find honest shop not out to make quick buck or hustle. Had a bent frame, was prepared to pay for alignment and even signed for it, but they said it wouldn’t help, they saved me money.. I will definitely go back for future repairs!! This is the second time Ive used this establishment! I was so pleased the first time that I knew I would do it again when needed! When the car was finished the manager, Kevin, picked me up from home and took me to the shop; over and above customer service. Further, the car is in excellent repair now at a reasonable price and at the estimated price.

Overall great experience. Prompt service and very reasonable pricing. My vehicle was ready on time when promised and issues were resolved. They also provided a detailed email of recommended future services on the vehicle, ordered in priority and graded for severity. Recommend to family and friends.

Tenacious diagnostics in locating and fixing a hard to find rattle in my SUV that other repair shops could not find..It took time and effort but the mechanics never gave up until they found the problem. I had brought my car in for some basic brake work. Price was a bit high but not to bad. Car was returned to me with low air in my tire. You would think almost $300 basic things like top off air in a clearly low tire would be a given. When I brought it to their attention it was nothing but how shifty my tires were to begin with. Hmm not professional at all and I will never ever return.

The employees at Willies were very professional. I have an appointment for our other vehicle tomorrow They will be our go to for automotive needs.

Wasted my time and gas.Called a few weeks ago with the problem (a known issue on my car) was told a rough price and to get the OEM part and then call to make an appointment. Received the part, called back and spoke to the same gentleman, and made the appointment.Woke up early to go. Upon arrival, it was obvs that I had no appointment and the gentleman I spoke to had no clue why I was there. The job was now a 9.5 hour job not a 2 hour job and the dash had to come out, even tho the OEM instructions showed the dash did not need to come out. The price was now 4X+ more. He even “googled it to make sure they weren’t missing something and yeah it’s a big job”...OEM instructions were in front of him...Ultimately, I fixed the issue myself as I had the part and instructions. Took me 2 hours and I’m not a mechanic. They had previously done good work for me and that’s why I went in the first place. Sucks to loose my business and a good relationship over something small and irrational.

I will say this. They are very expensive. I cant believe they charge for a diagnostic when you already tell them the problem and what to do. They dont even pro rate it. Double parts and double labor with that. I wouldnt believe their 5 star reviews who have only reviewed themselves only and nothing else in life. Before or after. Get towed elsewhere and dont use there towing.

They found a compressor when four other businesses could not and changed it just in time for a long trip. Very friendly and professional.

Dishonest, had the same problem a couple of weeks after repair. I called to ask them questions about what they did, they would not answer and questions about what they did. I took it somewhere else and was told that they misdiagnosed the problem and what they charged me for had nothing to do with the problem.

After backing my car into a trashcan and being devastated about the financial loss of paying for repairs; Willies did a fantastic job of fixing it up! They were extremely kind, helpful, and flexible to my schedule. After the part arrived they fixed it as soon as I was able to bring the car in. Every employee was so loving and kind, we will come back next time we have a need!!

I had an emergency with my SUV braking system, where one of the lines was leaking fluid. It was dangerous to drive far from home so I found Willie Automotive and talked to the folks there about getting it repaired. My first impression when I visited the shop was really good because the folks there were very friendly. The repairs they did were professional indeed. I left there feeling confident in driving my vehicle again. Overall, unlike many mechanic shops I’ve been to, I must say the experience at Willie Automotive made me feel good about going back to them for future automotive repairs. I Loved the service and they took great care of my car and made sure I was taken care of.

Had them tow my 20 year old 2000 ford ranger because my timing belt broke. We told them that we needed that fixed and they gave us a quote. We also mentioned some other things we would like fixed after the truck got up and running. Instead of telling us other problems that they knew the truck may have with a broken timing belt, they did 1000 dollars in repairs and told us the truck wouldnt start, including recharging the a/c compressor, which cannot be properly done without the engine running properly. They wanted at least another 2000 to continue fixing the truck, or have us pay the 1000 to get the truck back, which wasnt worth it. We had to give them the title, which Im sure they were going for all along. Sleazy and unprofessional. Also doesnt look good putting blame on the other customers who give you bad reviews. I have only ever given a 1 star rating to 2 businesses, including this establishment. Do not take your vehicle to this shop.

They had to fix the wheel bearings on our car. The price quoted was reasonable. They called when they found a separate issue to notify us and still had the vehicle fixed in the agreed upon time. We will use their service again.

Overpriced gave me a quote to fix my window after i told already told them what the problem was. Only went to them for a 2nd opinion. They gave me a quote for almost $400 in parts and labor and a entire day to complete. Bought the part online for $23 took me 10 mins to fix saved myself over $300.

So far so good having major repair work being done so as of right now I am happy with the service, they picked my car up and so far they have kept there word. Honesty is very important to me when dealing with businesses and they have been. Will see when I have to pick up the car. UPDATE: Picked up my car and the price way just what I was told before bring my car to them. I would tell all my friends and anyone who needs service to go there.

The 4th of July weekend resulted in a longer than expected wait(and AAA communication confusion) in the heat. Our Tow truck driver was so friendly and competent that we used their repair shop as well. It was the best decision!! Service was welcoming and so efficient. They were reasonable and had us back on the road in no time.

Brought a car here for an alternator replacement recently. The mechanic on the phone was very kind and helpful, and we were able to work out a fair price for the job and part. They were also able to perform the replacement the same day. My only complaint is that I was told to come back at a specific time, but when I came back it wasnt done, so I had leave and come back again an hour later. Granted the place is very busy, and I am frankly surprised they got it done that day. Also front of house seemed to not want to talk to me for some reason and seemingly ignored me for a while when I was there . Overall, good place, head mechanic was kind and my alternator issue was resolved.

My car broke down on the side of the road on Christmas. I called Webb’sTowing. Chris not only set up to have my car towed to Willie’s Automotive, he came out in his personal vehicle to secure my car so I could be on my way. The next day he called to tell me what was wrong with my car and gave me 2 different options. Willie’s fixed my car and I had it back that day. Very personal and professional. Highly recommend.

My story is I called and asked about a Blue 2002 Ford Explore, I was told it was 1,500.00. But when I got there they had the Blue one priced at $3,000. But they had thie 2002 green Eddy priced at $1,500. the paint job was nicer and it was cleaner! It fitted my budget I needed a car and purchased they It didn’t matter I loved the truck! But before purchasing it I did ask if anything was wrong with the truck, I was told they check it out and it would do me well! When I drove my truck off of their property I was totally happy! The following week I called because my transmission line was broken, I was told I would be changed for tolling, and it sounded as if I was going to have to pay to have it fixed! So I had qualified merchant close my home to fix it, he informed me that the transmission line had PVC piping holding the lines together! Three weeks later the fuel pump went out and the same merchant found more PVC piping running thought the fuel pump! Now two month later my water pump is gone but this time I couldn’t make it to the same qualified merchant so I had to use another qualified merchant, today I went to pick the truck up when I got there his questions was who used PVC pipe to fix the water pump! There’s even more the A Flame is rusted! My happiness has turned into a nightmare! One thing after another I have paid a lot of money out one this car! The only reason I went there was because someone I knew had used them and gave them a good review so I thought I could trust them as well! I will never recommend there service to anyone!

A great and honest garage. They were able to do a complete diagnostic on my Land Rover and found the problem right away. I had my car at another garage in Davenport that insisted my fuel pump had to be replaced and wanted to charge me over $1000. for the work. I then had my land rover towed to Willies garage and they found the problem was a blown fuse and my fuel pump was good. They were very courteous and showed me exactly what the problem was. It was well worth the extra drive and will only trust my Land Rover with them from now on.Thanks again for helping me out.

Long story short. Got my jeep stuck. Had a toeing company come. Told them what to do, refused to do my idea. Did theirs and got their truck stuck and dug my yard up. Then left. Called other companies who all denied coming because it was raining(right before Dorian). Called Willie, they came within 30 mins. Listen to my idea, got my jeep out and was professional. Price was decent and I would recommend them. I had 5 companies refuse to pull my jeep out or even show up...Willie the only one who stepped up and refused to leave a customer stranded.

We called about having work done and they towed our vehicle to there shop to get an estimate. Which was $48 ok no problem. They would have an estimate but what they didnt tell us to get the estimate it cost us $120 because they did a diagnostic which doesnt take long to do. Then told us we needed 1900 worth of work done. When we plainly told them we didnt want to spend that much considering the vehicle wasnt even worth that much let alone the fact we already had parts that they refused to use because of warranty issues. Instead they wanted us to get their parts and they claimed there was alot more wrong. Which we kinda figured they would do. I feel like they should of let us know up front that they charged for diagnostic so we could of decided if we wanted to pay that or go somewhere else like a shop closer to the house where we could of drove the vehicle to without having to have it towed.

I bought a car from Willie for my daughter.I paid 1850.00 and was assured it was in good mechanical order.He showed me a list of all these repairs and told me it would be a good reliable car.Within 2 weeks of having car key got stuck in ignition, motor blew up, battery is no good, and there was no brake shoes on back of car.I have spent another 700 to get it fixed.I would not trust them to fix anything of mine.Talks a good game, said he backed car but was not willing to fix anything that went wrong besides charging large amount

I will never shop at this place again starting off I sat in the lobby 1 hour and a half no one came and talked to me about my truck get up the find someone so I can get my keys and leave go to the counter my keys is on the counter exposed to anyone to come in there and take my key with a blue tag on it with the name and year of my vehicle take my key get in my truck to leave the guy finally comes to me to try and work something out he said to me you only need a alignment I said I know that he take the truck come back to me 10 minutes later and tell me my truck need ball joints and tell me that it will cost me $778 to fix so I go to leave and they want to charge me $15 after I sat there for a whole hour and a half and I had a coupon for the alignment and they still was going to charge me more than what the coupon was going to be so the whole time he wanted to get my keys back so they can charge me that $15 that I sat down and wasted my time with no one talk to me about anything about my vehicle I do not recommend this place for No OneSTAY AWAY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

I brought my 2003 Expedition in on a Friday because of a significant coolant leak. I suspected it was the intake manifold. Their mechanic, Chris, took it back and confirmed. I went ahead and did the thermostat, water pump, and serpentine belt along with an oil change. They asked if they could have it in on Saturday because it was a big job. They worked all day on an off day and into the night, finally getting it done at 8:30 pm after finding more issues that they worked late to fix for me.These guys did an awesome job for a great price and were extremely professional also. I absolutely recommend their service!

Just finished getting an alignment and was quoted 80 bucks but then found a coupon for 50 bucks. Not sure who Dave is but he wont accept coupon now. Stay away from this place. But if you do go YOU have to show coupons first or they wont accept after. Sadly there was another man who had the same issue. First and last time here.

I used to love the place, thats is untill experiencing the customer service by the woman that is part owner of the company.Very rude, and disrespectful, and in front of children of the family.After spending thousands of dollars over the course of a year and a half, I was treated like a piece of garbage, unfairly, and accused of saying and feeling things that were not even slightly shown or expressed.The other employees/family of her lowered their heads and eyes as she frantically lashed out with a deep emotional sadness, camouflaged as anger.I feel for the company, as so many good employees work under her frail, agonizing fingertip, too afraid to speak up for what is right and for good buisness practice.

I took my Ford Ranger in to them with a quote of $250 to repair a water leak. After a month they finally called to say it was fixed. THE BILL WAS OVER $800!!! Today i drove it to work and it boiled out because the radiator cap was left off!!! Now he says the cap was on when the truck left his shop. So whos the liar?Now he wants me to bring it back to find out what I did wrong. Ill never trust him again.

You can not find a cheaper price for the work your car needs anywhere else around. Ive had my truck serviced here multiple times for different issues and have never had faulty or bad service.
