Best mechanics Ive ever taken my truck to! My old mechanic clearly was just trying to get more money out of me and was misogynistic. The guys at Champion Auto Repair actually physically showed me how messed up my brakes were and are great at explaining things. They never got irritated with our questions and were honest. The prices are definitely reasonable and affordable. Again, definitely the best mechanics Ive ever taken my truck to!

QUALITY / AFFORDABLE service from a excellent small local business! As a average mid class working citizen, I am extremely satisfied with the work they have done for my 2016 Jeep Patriot. I came in with many issues to include wheel bearing, tune up, and several electric issues with my vehicle. Although they had minimal staff, they were very helpful and thorough with what I needed to get fixed. It’s nice to have a automotive business for once not try to sell you services you do not need. Champion mechanics were straight to the point and offered what was only needed. Also, the result of my car is a prime example why I’ve been a regular customer for almost a year. I highly recommend Champion Auto. Again, there is minimal staff working on vehicles that come through, and the owner is the prime worker. However, he is very helpful, knowledgeable on what he does, recommends reliable places if they are not able to provide the service and professional with first time customers. And it makes it quite hassle free and efficient to talk to the main person that works on every car. I’ve never had issues with my oil change and it’s at a decent price! Always a great feeling to get quality and excellent service while I can support our small local businesses.

Dennis and his team replaced my brake rotors and brakes the same day I took it in, even though they had a busy day. They also took a look at what might be causing vibrations while driving, and told me theyd be more comfortable with me taking it to the guy who replaced my axle to see if I could get it replaced under warranty. As a bonus they take AAA.

They evalutated the situation and then reccomended me to a business that could weld my catalytic converter for me. They didnt charge me anything.

Outstanding service! Im new to the area and took my 2010 Chevy Cobalt in for an issue. They immediately got it diagnosed and fixed. They even brought me into the shop to show me the computer diagnostics before and after they replaced the throttle body assembly. The car is running great again. Champion Automotive did an amazing job replacing the ball joint and control arm on my Dodge Ram. They were always prompt to answer the phone and answer any questions I had. Went here to have my starter and fuel filter replaced. They let me bring my own parts, and did an excellent job with both services. The man was very knowledgeable and the repairs were lightning fast. Plus they have a military discount. I even got to learn a few things from the guy who was more than happy to let me watch. I will always bring my vehicles here for servicing from now on. Electric Window problems in my Honda Civic.... Took my car to Nisqually Automotive, and their price was $80.00 in the door. My neighbor told me about Champion Automotive... Reasonably enough $43.00 + Tax out the door.Richard, the Service Technician was very polite and knowledgeable about Honda cars. My husband and I were put in a difficult position with another shop that had been repairing our vehicles for several years. We ended up needed to find a new shop and saw how highly Champion was rated and their reviews were great. After calling and speaking to Dennis, we brought our vehicle in thinking it was a simple repair and no big deal. The next day we received word that our vehicle was actually a ticking time bomb and it was going to cost 3,000 to 5,000 dollars to fix. I stead of taking advantage of us and taking our money, Dennis explained what was happening and advised that fixing the problem would only put us in a worse position and we should just sell the car. Dennis could have made a lot of money off of our vehicle but instead was a honest person with integrity and advised us what to do according to our needs and not his. I was so impressed and in awe that honesty was the driving force for their company and not just wanting to make money. This shop will be our safety place in the future, knowing that we will be treated like we were family, with Honesty and kindness. I am so glad they are in my city. Returning from Seaside Oregon, our van broke down on the side of the hwy just before Lacey. We thankfully made it to the exit. We were not familiar with the town so after talking to a few people, someone recommended Champion Auto. We explained to the owner (Dennis?) what had happened (overheated and a hole in the hose) and that we tried to (diy) fix/replace the hose ourselves that morning but the vehicle still overheated.We brought our van in and he explained what needed to be done (release/flush out the air that got into the system). We would not have known what to do.After it was fixed he test drove it and assured us that we were fine. We were off and made it back home to Vancouver BC Canada safely with no problems!We would like to let people know that we highly recommend this shop. They were reliable, honest and experienced. Honest mechanic in town

I have had all of my cars into Champion. I have never had an unpleasant experience. In one case they said they couldnt do the work and sent me to the best transmission shop in Tacoma. I dont let anyone else perform maint on my car.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon to get a brake light fixed. They took me and finished in less than 15 minutes. Very polite and they charged me very little beyond the bulb. If you dont already have a place to take your car, you can start with these guys!

We took my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo here recently,and so far it is running smoother than it has in years. It is a pretty old car, so it has its quirks, but I usually wait to get it fixed when it becomes completely unreliable.We were expecting a rather large estimate to have some engine work done and were pleasantly surprised when we got a call from the Owner with his MORE THAN reasonable amount. I have never been to a place that does such a good job for such a good price. Value is hard to come by nowadays. As is honest work. We got both from this place and we will take all of our vehicles here from now on.

Open Saturdays, fast honest work and they even invited me into the shop to explain exactly what their diagnosis was. It was pricey- but it was a lengthy involved job and they gave me a deal on the labor. I needed a new mechanic as my old one was getting worse and worse. These sentiments were confirmed when the mechanic at champion showed me some of the poor work done by previous mechanics. My only gripe with mechanics is the amount they charge for parts. Other than that my truck is driving much better and champion promised a 12000 warranty on the work. They even gave me written directions on the work I promised to do myself. Seemed like good, honest smart guys. Ill be going back for any problems in the future.

Took a truck in for prepurchase inspection,and the extremely nice gentlemen saved me from a lemon. The trucks rear end and passenger side wheel bearings, possibly the entire differential were noisy and going bad. My husband had noticed the noise, but we might have written it off as a noisy ride if they hadnt put it on a lift! Explained exactly what was going on, in detail, even though their shop doesnt do that work. Would recommend 100% for any repair or inspection!

Dennis is a very nice guy. I went their cuz my car sounds wired. Then he checked my car and helped me to fix the rotors, break, and even welded my muffler for free. Now my car drives better, and there is no more shaking. I highly recommend this shop to people who live around this area. I will stick with it.

I am so grateful and happy that I found this place.I was met with the dreaded check engine light of horror yesterday. So I got it checked out earlier today with another auto shop [olympic transmission and auto] and was estimated about $400-650 to fix my spark plugs & other nessacery things ...I was in shock and started calling other shops when I came across champion auto repair. They were so helpful in explaining my options and even helped me fix my spark plugs at a very affordable price.Highly recommend and plan on coming back.

Honest mechanics!! They tried all day to troubleshoot my truck, which had an intermittent electrical problem. All Day. When I came in, they showed me what they had tried. Tried a different module while I watched. Showed me the gas they had pumped out to check. Let me know that I had a few parts loose on the lift. Then, they said: NO CHARGE. I have been to most of the mechanics in Lacey and was amazed and astounded. They get all my business from now on.

Friendly service and when the problem turned out to be a razor blade caught in the air intake, a fix that took all of 2 minutes from start to finish, they didnt charge me. Was one of the weirdest things hed ever seen happen to a car. I plan on taking my car here whenever I need it repaired again.

Just had one of the best car repair experiences Ive ever had. The car had started making a sweet smell inside and when we got home and checked there was an oily substance on the engine, and even on the prop for the hood. I was worried, thinking head gasket (and probably a few profanities). The place Ive taken my car to for years isnt open on Saturday, and looking online I found Champion WAS, had really stellar reviews, and is also close to my house. They got me in right away. Randy showed me the pressure thing he used to see if it was radiator, or head gasket, and why he DIDNT think it was any of those things. (AND he says he always shows his customers those kinds of things.) He did see coolant on the the engine, and a new $13 RADIATOR CAP later, and a bit more for the analysis, I was out of there, feeling very much relieved. Even though Im feeling a bit disloyal to the place Ive gone to before, and they are good too, I think Ive found a new place to take my car for repairs.

The day before I came in to Champion Automotive Repair, my brakes all of the sudden started feeling mushy and soft and since they got such good reviews, I decided to take it here. I was really, really lucky I did so! Not only did they fix my brakes (there was a leak in the master cylinder) and not charge me for the diagnosis, we also decided to get my rear brakes changed out because the guy was so honest. When he did this, he heard a funny sound coming from the brakes and also spotted a mismatched bolt, which he fixed for free.I cannot express how appreciative I am! The whole thing (cylinder replacement, brake change, etc) cost me $150 less than Les Schwab quoted me for just changing out the front brakes. The guy was honest and explained everything to me, while charging a VERY reasonable price. Plus military discount and a 12mon/12k mile warranty!What more could we ask for??? :) Bring your cars here to get repaired!!!

Dont go here unless you have above average car I.Q. They quoted me 175 dollars to put on a new alternator belt. I went to the oreileys next door and bought the belt for 20 bucks and fixed it in less then 10 minutes. Thanks for taking advantage of my lack of knowledge.. I imagine most of your customers know less then me so its really messed up that your buisness has this kind of buisness plan.

Recently, got my timing belt/water pump replaced and my front brake pads/rotors replaced. Fair prices and they even agreed to install my own rotors and brake pads instead of their own parts. They were very accommodating to what I wanted. We found out the pads I ordered from e-bay did not fit, so Randy offered and price checked several local stores and then gave me a pros+cons break down on different types of brake pads. I decided to walk across the street and pick up some reasonably costed semi-metallics and Randy installed them in no time. My brakes have never felt better.Everything was finished in one work day and my car feels great. Randy was a very personable fellow and I could tell he loves his job and cares as he shared a lot of advice and we bsd about cars a bit.
