Called this morning to schedule service for 110v inverter not working. Gentleman took my information and set a waiting appointment for 10am same day. I arrived at 9:30am and was told I would have to leave my vehicle for 72 hours. I asked if i could speak to the person who made the appointment and was told their computers are down and she couldnt tell me who it was. Naturally, I left.

This was honestly one of the best car buying experiences ever! I went in with a truck in mind and they made it happen. Teddy and Luis were the best salesmen I have ever dealt with! The sales managers made sure that I was going to walk out of the door with the truck that I wanted and wanted to make sure they got my business! My company ordered a new car for me to be picked up at Jim Tidwell location. My POC was Brandon of whom I could not reach for days and when I did he said he would call me back but did not and went on vacation then I called back and got Oscar after a few more days but that was not a pleasant experience as well. I was informed that my car was there for two weeks but no one bothered to call me, I had to call them. When I did pick up my car it was completely dirty and Oscar seemed as though he was in a hurry so he did not spend my time with me at all, just showed me how it started, took my picture and went to another client. This was the worst experience getting a new car and because of it I will not by a new one from this location.

No complaints regarding my service. I was contacted promptly to advise what repairs were needed and I was able to receive my vehicle back on the same day. Everyone was kind and courtesy. I was promptly greeted both times I entered the building. Michael was a wonderful service adviser!

Soooo slow. I went in for a simple oil change and was told it would take 60-90 minutes which to me already felt long. It ended up taking 2.5 hours and no one apologized or updated me at all the whole time. It felt like I could have bought a new Explorer, driven it for 6,000 miles and brought it in for an oil change just in time to pick up my first Explorer. Not at all worth my time coming here. I guess the service was fine; it’s an oil change so not overly complicated.

Jim Tidwell Ford was fantastic in expediting work to add an electric brake controller to my F-150. Candace communicated often throughout the process and the job was done even sooner than expected. Mike installed the controller and went above and beyond to get information about how to use it properly. I feel confident and valued bringing my truck to Jim Tidwell.

My Service Advisor Candace Waterman was great. She was friendly and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me out was very rude and unfriendly. I arrived 25 minutes prior to closing but was told no one was there to accept my Ford Credit Card for payment so I told her that I would pay cash. Then she told me that no one was there to accept cash so I would need another debit or credit card. She got smart with me on 3 occasions so I will not be returning to Jim Tidwell Ford. I passed by 2 other Ford dealers to go to Jim Tidwell only because I had received the greatest service there on my past 3 experiences.

So I recently ordered a vehicle through them and it came in last week so I went to the dealership ready to buy my vehicle. But once I got there it a was insanely bad except for the Finance Manager. My sales rep brought out a sheet of paper with the full price break down of everything including my trade in, which was about $3000 lower than what KBB had it marked at, and when I said that’s insane he told me that it was because of the mileage which was under 80k miles for a 2011 when every dealership has been selling the exact same spec for over $14k, and then I told them that since I am a college student I have the Ford Student Rebate which they told me, “ we are not honoring that right now because of this vehicle in high demand so we could sell if really quick if you don’t buy it”. I lost my mind at this point and really wanted to walk out because they were screwing me over but I really wanted and needed this vehicle so I bought it but if you have a chance to go elsewhere PLEASE DO SO!

They always do good work. Today took longer than usual and my passenger seat was filthy. They changed the inside cabin filter, but someone must have had dirty pants and didnt cover the seat. Also did a poor job removing the old sticker from the windshield; about 1/4 of it remains. So....I know the car is well maintained, but now I need to clean the passenger seat and find a blade to scrape off the rest of the old sticker.

We needed an extra key for our work van, so I sent one of our techs there to get one. We had to make an appt. and go back. I should have told my tech to call me before moving forward. However, $400+ we have an extra key. What a ripoff. Be careful.

Went to test drive a mustang, the salesman sat in the back of course which I didnt mind. But i drove the car less than 3 miles and he asked how I liked it? Around the block? For a 50,000 dollar car let the customer drive it how they want. Get a feel for it. Etc... I wont be buying a car from this dealership.. Very disappointed...

I am not sure if the stars aligned or it was all the doing of representative David Edmond, but I had an overly accommodating experience with Jim Tidwell Ford. I originally thought I wasn’t going to even visit the dealership since I was told the day before I was visiting Atlanta that the car I wanted had unfortunately been sold. A couple days later, however, David called me to say that for whatever reason the car was returned and he believed it was for me! He picked me up from my location so I could test drive it back to the dealership, was incredibly patient as I had to get personal details in order to register the car (since I’m relocating to GA) and made it possible for me to drive off the same day with the car. The other staff members were just as kind and understanding, and worked with me while I was away to ensure I could register my car! Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking, and cannot wait to officially relocate and continue business with them!

Worst service ever. Purchased 4 new tires for my SUV early AM, with anticipated completion of 12:30pm. I called at 2pm, still wasnt completed. 4:30 got a call to pick up the vehicle. Once I arrived I was notified that I needed new brakes. However, I wasnt notified prior to the service completion to have it done at the same time and its too late to get them done now. Meanwhile, Im driving without rear brakes.I was informed that Ill get a call the following day regarding my complaint and arrangements to have it done over the weekend. Needless to say no one called. Wise I had chosen another competitor, Im confident that the services are much better elsewhere.

I bought a used mini van yesterday, had a good experience. Luis was a great salesman, he worked really hard to find me al the right vehicle, when all hoped seemed lost, the sales manager pulled once out of from seemingly nowhere and it was more than perfect. The bank almost ruined the deal but the finance manager called a bunch of banks and got me what I wanted. Mike is one of the hardest working F&I guys Ive seen! Great job guys! Ill definitely go back again.

Kenneth the Service Director, was most helpful with this extensive repair to my wife’s prized 2004 Thunderbird. Pricing on the repair was excellent. This is the go to Ford store in The Atlanta area.

I got my old 2010 Ford Fusion Serviced here today, to fix a disabled drivers side door latch. Between 8:30am to 9:45am they fixed it with speed and efficiency I didn’t expect. I mean they COMPLETELY fixed it. I’m so used to being let down these days that this is a welcome change. I would definitely return and recommend this Service Department to everyone.

Jim Tidwell Fords service department is always professional and a personable dealership. Immediate attention was given when I arrived by Hailey, who updated me on the status during my wait. I only requested an oil change however they also inspected and filled my tires, inspected my brakes and my battery as a complimentary service. Only complaint I have is the wait time, however thats expected for a busy dealership.

I took my car there for a clock spring issues. It took them 3 weeks to finish my car. Yes 3 weeks! to fix a recall issue they already knew about. I have to give one token of goodness to Keven who eventually stepped in and got things rolling. They did not care I was paying a rental for 3 weeks.The Director was supposed to call me to discuss the length of time in a rental and possibly issue a credit. Guess what it has been roughly two weeks and no phone calls.Im not suprise by the the awful service support. When your leadership doesnt give a hoot about its customer base why should the employees working under his leadership. Im still waiting, but wont hold my breath!

I WAS VERY HAPPY TO BUY A CHEVY FROM A FORD DEALERSHIP. Aside from that they had all of our paperwork ready. Customer service was not what we expected. Car salesmen are usually trying to SELL a car. Everyone was very laid back and nonchalant. We bought the car on our own accord after researching the features of it once we found it. You would think they would work a little harder and give information to help sell a vehicle. All in all it was an ok experience.

While traveling with our fifth wheel we lost power and needed help ASAP. Everywhere we stopped we were told if would be a day or two. Jim Tidwell stepped up and had us back on the road in less than thirty minutes. A five star rating doesn’t do them justice they deserve a TEN!!! 2 weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment to get an open recall fixed on my vehicle. On the phone I was told I would need to drop it off as it would take 4 hours to fix. Not a problem. Fast forward to today when I drop it off. I decided to drop it off early as that worked best with my schedule. I wasn’t expecting to pick it up earlier, so I knew I’d still be picking it up 4 hours after my original appointment time. Well, I was told it was going to be tomorrow. So I said, ok so I can pick it up in the morning? The rep said no, tomorrow end of day.So it went from 4 hours to 48 hours?! Ridiculous.

Buyer bewareThe dealership site listed a vehicle for sale. I confirmed the availability both online and by directly contacting the dealership. The web inquiry confirmed pricing. When I arrived onsite, the salesperson stated that due to the scarcity of the vehicle, there was an additional $50,000 surcharge (180% of the listed price). We didn’t have the best experience on this visit. After a full inspection we were quoted one price for our repairs and agreed on what work we wanted done vs what work not to do. Fast forward a couple days we received a call that the total would be $1,000 more because the guy forgot to include the parts on the quote. The work had already been completed on the truck so there was really no option to shop around for better prices unless we wanted to wait longer for them to remove a part and place the old part back on (which doesn’t make sense). When we showed up and looked at the detailed bill, work was done to the truck that we specifically asked them not to do. To top it off the check engine line came back on half way home. Not sure what the problem is and why the quote was not accurate from the start but we were a little annoyed to say the least. Giving them two stars because they did take some money off, give me a coupon for a free oil change/tire rotation and took off the price of the unwanted repair. We will probably go back there but next time there will be double and triple checks so we have accurate information.

I always take my car to this shop for maintenance. I’m from a small mountain town in NC so when I moved here I was looking for a shop that would treat you like a person and not like a bottomless wallet. That’s what you’ll get at Jim Tidwell service department. You pull into the service lanes and get greeted by individuals that don’t look like they are planning to quit in two weeks they introduce themselves and get you taken care of in a timely manner. The wait area has beverages and snacks WiFi you don’t have to ask for the password to and they understand that we the customer are busy so the accommodate that with work stations. The sales team aren’t pressuring while you wait if you want to go look through the inventory. While you wait you’ll get text and email notifications and everything about your vehicle and a member of the service crew will come and talk to you about said text and emails. After they have completed your final inspection you’ll pay and your car will be waiting in the covered service lanes out of the weather ready for you to depart and go about your dayMy personal experience with (the service rep on crutches) was great super friendly and listened to everything I had to say and directed me to the right departments to answer my concerns. I’m sorry I forgot your name but that doesn’t mean the experience went unnoticed thank you brother I’ll be back in a week to get further work done as we discussed.

We purchased a used car here a few days ago and it still needed to be checked out by the mechanics. After we bought the car the only way to get any updates about the vehicle was to call multiple times throughout the week. The car sat for about a week waiting for new tires and they still didn’t fix everything that was promised in the agreement. The only nice part of our service was the car salesman wasn’t super pushy about buying the vehicle. With that we probably wouldn’t buy a car from here again.

This service department does not have the staff to get repairs completed or call you back from a service standpoint. They have had my car for 10 days on a 20,000 mile check up. I am currently trying to pick it up because we have to have the vehicle back and have been telling them this for 3 days. No respect for my time or the fact that I need the vehicle back for work and kid responsibilities. Barret Parkway is a convenient location, but I cannot ever imagine going back. I recommend making the drive somewhere else.

While I really appreciate the folks at Jim Tidwell, Im disappointed in them. Ive been having my 2018 Explorer serviced here since i bought it. Not one time did anyone mention that i needed brakes or tell me that i neede rotors turned or ANYTHING!! Tires were mentioned but that was it. This time when warranty rack work and oil change was being done, Candace calls and tells me i need a $1000 brake job, front and back. I wasnt hearing any squealing or anything. Hesitantly and disappointedly, i told her go ahead but in hindsight i feel taken advantage of, which is sad. Why wasnt I advised ANYTIME this year that i had an issue???? The entire ordeal has left a bad taste in my mouth and a whole in my wallet AND heart.UPDATEIm taking my truck back on Tuesday because the brake job was NOT up to par.

This location had my vehicle for nearly 2 in a half weeks and only completed 1 out of 2 repairs that I needed done. I had a service rep tell me he would call me back twice and never did. The only form of communication I received from this location was through text message. I was given several different completion dates that they kept pushing back at the last minute in which cost me time and money due to me having to extend my rental car agreement. I had a bad experience with this location so to those whom are considering bringing your vehicle here good luck, you will definitely need time, money and patience if you receive the same treatment that I did.

Wow all I can say is how sad of a place is this? We ( my son and I) drive to look at a Mustang in Grabber Blue. We drove from Columbia SC (3.5 hours) to see this poor excuse of a used car, lord help me understand why you don’t bother to detail your cars, dirty filthy engine compartment with noticeable aftermarket stuff that was not maintained at all, IE air intake, sub woofer wiring done by a back yard amateur, warped brake rotors, rashes to Hell wheels, after market exhaust system that sounds like a garbage truck, I would be incredibly embarrassed to present a POS like this to any customer, good night y’all SUCK

I dont think this ford dealership really take 6:30pm appointments for maintenance, however, my car was service and i shared with rep that i was driving down to Florida to visit my father who was in the hospital. The rep was very friendly and said he would keep my family in his prayers. For the most part, our experience was better than most and I feel we got a good fair deal at Jim Tidwell.With that said, there are a couple issues to be addressed. Though it was a late night and everyone wanted to go home, the sales rep and the finance agent were great.However, the truck was not cleaned and the sales rep even pointed it out. It was not what we expected for delivery of our new to us vehicle. It was not washed as you could tell by touching the truck. Windows were glazed over and mud on the front bumper... I could go on. I was there paying a large sum of money (with service agreement etc) for a used truck and feel the truck should have been cleaned and ready for delivery.The other issue, They took the truck to fill it up before delivery. but.... it was only filled to the 1/2 point. I didnt notice this till I drove off because I just assumed, like with ALL my other vehicle purchases, the tank was filled to the top. Not really an issue but it just adds to the lack of follow through with the sale.What I am saying is, the truck was handed over to me like, ok you signed now be on your way.Just my 2 cents, for what its worth.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 7:45 in the morning. Arrived early was not checked in until 7:55.After waiting for an hour, I was told that it would be an additional hour before they could take my car back.When I asked the reason for the delay, I was told that other people were in front of me and that they were behind on servicing customers.What is the use of an appointment when you take walk in customers ahead of you?Very disappointed in the service.

The experience I have had with the service department is truly one of the worst I have ever had. Bought a vehicle in February from Jim Tidwell and had to take it back in late March for some issues and a part had to be ordered. It is now July, and this has still not been resolved. The lack of communication is extremely frustrating. Every time I call it is a different answer, if I can even get through. If it ever gets resolved, I do not plan to go to Jim Tidwell again.

I had an appointment at 1pm. I called back at 6pm (an hour before closing) to check on my truck. They said it was done even though nobody bothered to call me. I brought it in for an oil change and to check the brakes (I heard a scrubbing noise when stopping). They did the oil change and said that on a scale of 1-10 the brakes were 8s and 10s. After picking up my truck I still heard the scrubbing noise, but knew I had to be at work, so I didnt complain. The next morning as I was walking up to my truck I saw something yellow on my tire, so I go and look at it. They drew a box around a nail that was in my tire. No one bothered to let me know. They obviously dont care about their customers. I wouldnt recommend using the service center.

Went to get some service done stood around for about 15 min passing and standing in service lane and in office even saw Management. But the complaint is no one even said how can we help, be with you soon, or HI, Dont need red carpet but when you all are siting at a desk with no one person in front of you but your PC your working on it take 2 secs to say hang ion there let me finish up this Sir I looked around and I was not the only one that was getting the same vibe.

I only like this place cuz it is a ford dealer and i like to look at the new cars but i prefer to just drive through to look at the cars. beware if you get out they will rush you. typical car salesman. get them off of commission so they dont attack. i look here and buy at carmax.

If you’re looking for an oil change, tire rotation, brakes...or just simply need diesel exhaust fluid, DO NOT go to Jim Tidwell Ford!! Loyal customer of you guys for 15 years, buying 5 vehicles. You guys used to be the best. The past few years it’s been a land slide. Service is horrendous, service department needs serious attention. Three times Ive driven off the lot and exhaust fluid is empty. And that’s when you guys did a good job.

Another three days and we are still waiting ! Now in week 8W e have been a customer of Jim Tidwell Ford for nearly 20 years. On feb 6 we had a 2017 Ford towed to Jim Tidwell. We were told it needed a new computer board which was back ordered 4 weeks. At 6 weeks we contacted Ford corporate who were able to get the part. The service department received it Tuesday but didn’t prioritize it despite having the car nearly 7 weeks at this point. Our persistent calls and in person visit Friday morning got them to start on the car. We were told it would be ready in the afternoon. Then 4pm Then 5 pm. We went in and talked to service manager. Who said car would be ready before 7 pm. They called us at 6 pm saying they couldn’t get car to start and it would be Monday before they could speak to the Ford hot line to determine what to do next. What has been most disappointing about Jim Tidwell is they simply don’t care how long we are without a car. We have been the ones calling and asking for updates. We called corporate in order to get the part sent. They have done nothing to demonstrate any concern for a customer of nearly 20 years.

My car has been sitting in the service department for the last two months waiting to get repaired. While it is sitting there Im paying my car note on a vehicle which I cant drive until it gets fixed and paying $300 out of my pocket for a rental every week. The main problem is the communication, or lack of communication between them and the warranty department, and the fact that I get a different story from both of them.

Terrible service. Poor communication. No one knows what’s going on there. I understand that with Covid everything will be slower. I was very patient waiting on my 2017 Ford Raptor. You would think this truck wouldn’t have so many issues. Starting to wonder if it’s not the service department. I’ll be finding a new Ford dealership but seriously contemplating trading my truck for something else. Jim Tidwell service department doesn’t understand that people don’t have time to keep going there and dealing with car issues and need transportation to go to work. All clients want us to be told the truth so they can plan accordingly. I writing this review because they sent me an email to review them. Just got an email saying they couldn’t publish my review so here we are. My brother also has a Ford F 150 and uses Jim Tidwell as well. He us always complaining about their service department. I don’t see how this place stays in business.

It took over 75 minutes to drop my 2021 F150 off for service and warranty work, only to have Enterprise call me and tell me they needed another 30 minutes before they could pick me up to get me in a loaner/rental for warranty work.I’m sorry... I told the advisor I could not/would not wait 2 hours to drop a vehicle off. Advisor agreed it was unacceptable, returned my keys and said “have a good day.”; very clear he didn’t want my business.As a side note, I purchased my 2015 F150 Platinum from Jim Tidwell, tried to have them service it (back in 2015) but they never tried to earn my business back then; thought I would give them another opportunity 6 years later with my new 2021 F150 King Ranch (purchased elsewhere) but they still do not want my business. It’s ashame.

Went to dealer to test drive a truck that interested in. Went I Arrived, the truck was in such poor condition. I test drove it anyway and it drove terrible. So, I left. The salesmen call me a few days later and said he had a another truck that I might be interested in. I went that followed weekend and truck was sold the minute I pull on the lot.

Had to take my 2017 Ford Escape in to replace a dust shield under my vehicle which had broken loose and although the service center was swamped with jobs the service rep I gadcthe pleasure to meet and deal with (Jordyn) was very much the best person I have dealt with since buying me vehicle. As busy as they were, She took the “can do” attitude to immediately take care of my issue, order the part and once the part arrived, called me to go ahead and bring in my car for its repair. She made me feel like a valued customer and was very professional but extremely nice in the process of having my issue resolved. Its people like Jordyn who make Jim Tidwell a great dealership to do business with.

The place itself was reasonably clean/looked nice. The staff were polite and friendly. Bit thats where the good experience ends. Took the car in to have the TCM replaced. Was not offered a loaner car or rental. A week goes by. Then two weeks. Could get no answers on a timeframe for when it would be done. Had to open up a case with the Ford company itself just to try to get the ball rolling. Three weeks in finally got approved for a discounted rental car. Not a full coverage, just most of it. Finally 5 weeks and hundreds of dollars in uber rides later, they managed to get the part and get it fixed. Have owned Fords all of my life, but now plan on getting a new car and it will definitely not be a Ford.

I scheduled service at Jim Tidwell 1 week out, and when I arrived they told me it would be a 4 hour wait. They offered to give me a ride home, but soon found out I lived 4 miles outside of their allowable distance. They offered to take me one way, but I would have to find my own way back. Very poor customer service when they were responsible for over booking.

The Ford dealership service is good.I went there due to a recall and a promo for oil change.The regular price for the service is very competitive.I like that they did a full inspection of my car . That’s a positive for me. And they took me home so I didn’t have to wait for my car and they offered a free ride back to the dealership.What I felt the t could improve in is that I dropped my car for a 7am appointment and they did not get my car done until after 3pm for a recall Check up, which mine passed and an oil change.If not for the recall, I would have gone somewhere else for the oil change.

My wife and I went in to test drive a car we had called and inquired about. After doing the initial test drive, the cars price was $26,000. We asked questions on the price and the sales associate then said that he would need to check on that price. After 35 minutes of waiting on him at the desk alone we decided to leave, as we are walking out he is adding a new price to the car we just drove that now said $38,000 and told us to give him 2 minutes. I will gladly order the car I want at its normal price and wait for it from somewhere else at this point.

This is rare in the car business. Davion our F&I guy was the best as well. it was a pleasure doing business with the whole team.
