I came in with limited money, limited time, at the end of the day, on a Friday, with no idea what was causing my car to leak coolant. Kent and his mechanics jumped on top of diagnosing and figuring out how to get parts rushed over and how to get to the problem in order to fix it. By the time my car cooled off enough, these guys stopped what they were doing to get the job done. I was traveling from Tennessee and supposed to check out of the hotel on Saturday at noon, with a handicapped mother and my 12 year old daughter. The fact that these guys made getting my car fixed such a priority, was such a blessing, and their willingness to proceed with the repair so close to closing time, was extra mile service for sure. If they hadn’t, my family and I would have had no place to stay, and no way to vacate our room, and make it back home until at least Monday. Super nice guys, superior work, and extra mile service. Along with a super generous price to fix it. I only hope to have my car mess up the next time in Kennesaw. 😇😊

BEWARE....WORK IS NOT ALWAYS PERFORMED...I took all three of my vehicles in for brake inspection and service. Two of the vehicles, they charged me for work they never did...the other they said was fine, but actually wasnt...I doubt they looked at any of them..In fact, I found out taking vehicles to another shop less than a month later due to still having brake problems and K M refusing to re-inspect brakes while I was present...at other shop and I stayed while they pulled brakes to find out all pads were completely worn and had not been changed. One vehicle took mechanics a long time to remove the caliper bolts because they were seized up and brake pads on rear starting to crystallize...which is from vehicle not having brake work performed for a long time. This is the same vehicle I was charged almost $700 for brake repairs 3 weeks earlier by K M.I have used this place for years for minor service like oil changes and battery changes, but if you need a significant work, these guys will RIP YOU OFF and not perform the work. They did the same thing when I requested air filter change and spark plugs.... they work was never done but I was charged for it. They only changed plugs that were easy to access and never changed back plugs and coils that would require significant work getting to...When confronting them on charging me for work not performed they refused to let me see the old parts that were taken off vehicle after they supposedly just replaced with new and refund me my money.I just wanted to warn everyone....these guys are CROOKS and will cause you severe car repairs because they are not performing the work as charged. WARN EVERYONE YOU KNOW....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE...they need to be closed down for ripping people off and damaging vehicles. If they didnt want to do the job, they should have just turned me away versus ripping me off and lying about it.

Had a brake caliper sticking. Was not in my area of town but seeing the smoke I knew it was either a wrecker or pull into K&M. Very unsatisfied with my service. My car wasnt running so I researched shops in my area and I found KM and they had good ratings so I thought Id give them a shot. That was a mistake! They charged me $90 to listen to my motor and determine it needed a new motor. I asked what happened and the answer I received from the tech It could be 1 of a hundred things. I asked how much to replace the motor and I was told Probably like 4-5k. Not worth replacing the motor. It was like I was bothering them. After taking to some friends they recommended C&P auto. C&P gave me the same diagnoses, the difference is the explained what they believe happened to the motor. When I asked for a quote they gave me a quote with a breakdown of the charges. Never did they act like I was bothering them. I went with them. Very happy with their work at C&P!

Broke down on 75 and after a quick search for options in the area ended up towing my car here. They quickly diagnosed the water pump issue and fixed it at a fair price. On a different occasion they kindly checked my car for any problems following a tire issue. We just moved to the area and are so glad to have found reliable mechanics. They are straightforward and efficient. Thank you.

Awesome. Kent and his brother saved me over $900 because they used a sealant for my leaking heater core. I drive a 2007 PT cruiser with 114k miles. These guys know their stuff. I had my timing belt replaced here too over a year ago and they helped me avoid having to get a new car. Honest wonderful mechanics.

Went here thinking I would need a new alternator because the new battery I had installed the day before was already drained. They found out out it was the starter instead. They replaced it for a fair price and in a short amount of time. I was pleasantly surprised with these people as I am not from the area and was not familiar with any local auto mechanic shops. Honest & reasonable, fair price. My car died in Dallas the day before New Years & had no idea where to take it. KM had great reviews & they were open. Dropped it off & he said they couldnt look at it until Monday the 2nd. No problem! I told him I think it was the starter & when he called me on Monday, thats exactly what it was. Picked it up Monday afternoon & he tightened my belts which I thought need to be replaced since that is what another mechanic told me. Starter sounds amazing!! I will definitely be back!

This is a great, honest family owned operation. I took a vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection. They were thorough and walked me through every issue that the car had. In the end, they recommended I not purchase the vehicle due to likely costly repairs that it would need in the short term. Thank you for saving me thousands! After receiving a recommendation that I replace the brake pads on my car and flush out and replace the transmission fluid from a national brand up the street, I didnt feel right about it took my car to K M Auto Care after reading so many positive reviews. Im so glad that I did.Not only did they get me in to take a look within 30 minutes, would have done the work the same day if necessary, but 10 minutes after pulling into the garage Matt came and told me to have a nice day because no work was needed.I sincerely appreciate an honest relationship with the people I do business with and I will be taking my vehicles to K M Auto Care for everything I do going forward. Its a great, family owned business and I highly recommend them.

K M Auto is beyond deserving of 5 stars! I’ve been coming here for years and they always deliver quality work, a fair price, and I know that I’m in good hands. All the guys in the shop are great and I couldn’t recommend them more, especially being a female having to worry about being ripped off.

At K M you are not paying for shiny, large, new waiting rooms. Instead you are paying for guys who love what they do and wont try to rip you off. I have two great experiences to share:In my old car my steering wheel would shake and three shops couldnt figure out why. Took it to K M for an oil change when a friend recommended them and the mechanic told me he put in the missing motor mounts when he changed the oil free of charge. The never ending problem was solved.In my new car, I took it to the dealership for recalls and an oil change and they told me I needed to spend $3000 on a motor mount harness due to a chipmunk eating it. When I had K M check it out, they laughed and said there was one bite, but it didnt need a repair nor the full replacement the dealership recommended.

I had a nail in my tire. Tire kept losing pressure so I know something was wrong. Pulled in with no appointment. Staff helped me out within 30 minutes I was out. They even let me go get $20 in cash to pay them. Also had a oof conversation about my project car.

I stopped by KM because my car was making a strange noise. They got my car in immediately. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They gave me details about the issue, (and how they fixed it) and they didnt force any unneeded services on me. I recommend this place to anyone in need of a repair.

Far from impressed. On a couple of occasions I brought my car in for overheating issues. They did redundant work after explaining to them the work I have already done, never resolved the issue I had with my car and pretty much told me to sale it while I can. They didnt once consider that I wanted to FIX the car, Lord forbid they do what their business implies they do.

Weird buzzing sound on my Ford and hesitant to go to a mechanic cause Im new to this area. A check on fluid levels seems to have done the trick so far--easy, free fix. Great people ! Had car throw serpentine belt on I-75 heading home to TN. Wrecker towed me here. In one hour they diagnosed a bad tensioner pulley and got a replacement delivered and had me ready to go ! Amazing stuff since I was driving my 2003 E500 Mercedes and they said that they dont normally work on Mercedes. Highly recommend them !!!!

My husband is very mistrustful of all auto mechanics. I had my car towed to K&M after I was stranded. Ive lived in Kennesaw since 1985 & theyve been at their location almost as long! Well, they proved my husband wrong. They fixed the problem & reminded me that I had neglected important maintenance. I agreed to have them do that work. I was very pleased with the bill considering all they did. My car runs a lot better. AND my husband has reluctantly agreed. Ha!

These so called mechanics test drove my fiances car when we spoke with them about her brakes working fine in most cases, but other times the pedal would be all the way against the floor of the car but it would keep rolling. The emergency brake also failed on inclines. They determined that all she needed done was a clean and adjust of her rear brakes, which after some research, is a useless procedure designed only to generate profit for the store, but is usually accompanied by an inspection to determine if there are other issues with the brakes. While they did list a few other repairs that would need done in time, none of them had to do with the issue at hand. The next day, my fiancé was driving home from work and was entirely unable to stop with either the normal or emergency brakes. By some miracle, she made it home alive and the car was intact, but now KM auto repair of Kennesaw, GA, is charging us 319 dollars for a new master cylinder. A trained mechanic would have known the symptoms of a failing master cylinder and would have noticed it from the description of the problem, the test drive, and from inspecting the brakes during the clean and adjust. My fiance could have died because of their ineptitude. Remember that whoever works on your car holds your life, livelihood, and that of your loved ones in their hands. Take your business and your money to a real mechanic that will actually take care of you and your car.

My Father in-law uses them religiously. When he has my car worked on and I drop it off the guys have been extremely helpful and polite. Its conveniently right between his house and his mothers house. Its great to hang out w my husbands Grandmother while I wait for my car. I dont know if any special treatment is given bc of the centuries my father in-laws gone there or bc Im annoying af and they want me out of their hair but the car usually gets fixed w/i that day. I personally only trusted my cars (if I couldnt fix it myself) to a man named Doug in Cartersville bc he ONLY worked on VW & I always had a Jettas and Allen Riddle When he retired. However, theyre both retired now. Trustworthy mechanics are few and far between. These guys dont fix your car and break something else so you have to come back. I really trust them.
