We signed up for AT&T through a third party representative named Zach at a Sam’s Club….. Well he royally screwed up our entire account and we received an almost $500 bill for 3 simple lines…… the representative in the store, Wesley Carter, was so incredibly helpful and got everything fixed for us! I highly recommend seeing him with your business!!

Hector provided us with wonderful service. My husband and I had put off getting new phones for a long time because we dreaded the process so bad. He made it easy, helping us each find the phone that was right for us. He moved everything from our old phones and nothing was lost! It was by far the best phone buying experience we have ever had. He answered all of our questions and provided excellent service!

Do not recommend this store!!!! The salesfloor workers know nothing and will lie to you to get you to sign up for their promotions. I upgraded my phone from an iPhone Xs to iPhone 12 in February during the promotion they were offering which was suppose to be $700 for trade in on a new iPhone 12. I have not been getting my credits on my bill each month like I was promised. After calling customer service, it turns out after my old iPhone was reviewed at the warehouse they only felt it was worth $200 even though it was in perfect condition, and in the store I was promised $700. Apparently I was told wrong and the terms states “up to $700”. AT&T workers on the sales floor straight up lied to be about their promotion. It’s not even a miscommunication because I wanted to pay my phone off in the store when I bought it and was told I couldn’t do that since I was getting $700 in credit applied to my bill each month for 30 installments. I was already disappointed in that… then to find out a few months later that I’m not even getting $700 and that my phone was only worth $200 is extremely frustrating. What a scam & I can’t even get my old phone back. I could’ve sold it myself for more than $200.

These people are fantastic, always greeting people at the door, always friendly and extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about all devices, definitely pay them a visit if you need a new service/ phone! The process is usually really quick, only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish, or for me at least it did. Ordered a phone and got everything transferred within the hour. Best AT&T store in the Tri-Cities!!!

Grant!!! I am a customerof 2 weeks and was ready to cancel service because little of what I was charged was disclosed to me. I came in extremely disgruntled and Grant listened sympathetically, explained my bill and applied for billing discount through my employer that helps lower the bill tremendously. Grant is an exemplary representative! I will work with him only from now on.

I came to this store to buy a new iphone to replace an old one which was failing. Brandy was very patient, showing me various models and accessories but not trying to up sell me unnecessarily. She was knowledgeable about the comparative features of various products. She was very patient working through account issues with me, as I was changing from a business to a personal account. She stayed with me and did not become distracted even though the transaction took almost 2 hours. Then she showed me the operational basics of my new phone and encouraged me to call if I developed issues. I am very satisfied with my new phone and our transaction.

This store was not very helpful. The customer service was subpar compared to the store in the same town! I went in there for an upgrade to my iPhone X, I was not greeted upon arrival and I realize there were customers being assisted, there wasn’t any sort of greeting. I waited for about 30 minutes for the next associate to help me. I knew I wanted the new iPhone 12 pro because of the $800 credit on upgrades for existing customers. The man set it up for me and told me that I would have to wait till December. No problem I’m a patient person.I get a notification that’s shipped on December 10th so I was elated. I tracked it every single day. Today, December 15th, I received the email that said my iPhone 12 pro was sent back to the shipper. I was livid. The address was put incorrectly and now my phone was sent back. I use my phone for work and it is a big inconvenience. I decided to go to the store across the city (2111 N Roan street) because the last time I went there I had a better experience. Instead of rushing my out, he helped me with finding a solution even though the store was close to closing time! I will never go back to the corporate store again! I would highly recommend going across the city and going to Roan street you will get better customer service with solutions.

My wife and I just happened to be up in Johnson City yesterday and decided to swing by to look at upgrading our phones. The store was busy but we were greeted by a representative, his name was Brandon. Long story short we decided to upgrade both phones yesterday and Brandon helped us through the whole process. If you go to this store I definitely recommend that you request Brandon to assist you with any service you may need. He was very polite, helpful, punctual, and understanding. I will most certainly be going to this store instead of our own store where we live. The other representatives that were busy assisting other customers were polite and helpful as well from what I could hear.

Out of town visiting family and stopped in to upgrade two phones. Promptly waited on by Dave. He did find me a deal that worked with my plan. He helped us get both phones set up and all our contacts and apps and photos switched over and we were up and running before we left the store.

We went here the day after getting 1 new line at an authorized retailer in another state. Mitchel greeted us and and opened the door as we approached. From there he just exceptionally answered every question and we walked away with everything we expected to walk away with the day before and then some with a better deal than we knew was possible. He knew his business like a true pro. Also he has a baby on the way so I truly hope youll visit this store and ask for Mitchel. Managers...think bonus or raise...

AT&T is great phone service but the employees at this store are rude and will not listen and will not help. I had money to pay sales tax and all the deposits. That equaled up to almost $800.00 and he mocked me for not wanting a iPhone. The sales persons name was Andy but cause I said Id be back on the following week to buy the phones and would wait to switch service, he through a fit said that means well have to restart and was getting irritated at my 7 month old daighter for babbling. So I recommend at&t service but I would not use the johnson city store.

All trips need to be this easy and convenient! Had an exceptional-informed employee assist me in swapping phones, with only one drawl back, he forgot to offer me my old sim card back. I didnt realize until returning home and realized I didnt have any of my contacts or pics. Luckily, I was able to use cloud to recover what I needed😎

Im surprised by the negative reviews for this store, we had the best experience at this location. My parents chose this store in particular because it had a better rating than other stores that were closer to their home.I took my parents to see if they were getting the best price and services relavent to their needs.The representative, Patrick, treated them as if they were his own. He consulted with an Assistant Manager, who also showed great care about the service they were receiving.Together they discovered a discrepancy on my parents bill that saved them money and spent extra time to see that it was done correctly. They were extremely patient and thorough.We had the opportunity to greet several employees, including the Manager during our lengthy visit. These people were all friendly and efficient.Based on the service my parents received, my parents, my son and I highly recommend this store for first rate service. Knowledgeable, accommodating, helpful and conscientious describes this team and specifically, Patrick, who went out of his was to straighten out a mess someone else had made if their account.Thank you, Patrick!

Although I was greeted promptly and left with a new phone in less than 20 minutes, when I asked for information and programs to be transferred from my current android phone to the new android phone, I was told they could only transfer the contacts - NOTHING ELSE!! My husband got a new Verizon phone last week & even the ring tones were transferred over at the Verizon store for him. I spent $50 getting a neighbor kid to add my programs on & still havent figured out how to successfully change the wallpaper so this will definitely be my last AT&T purchase. GO VERIZON!!

Im a little mixed on how to rate this store. The other week I bought a new iPhone from this store and it went very well. Three days later I get an email saying thank you for your iPhone insurance purchase of $7.99. I was a little confused by this email because I was never asked about the insurance and I never asked for it. At first I thought the email was fake because the man that checked me out was a really nice guy and he never asked me about it in the first place. I called this store today and asked if they could look and see if it was applied. They told me no they couldnt because I wasnt the primary account holder but all I wanted to know Is if it was applied or if the email was a fake but they wouldnt tell me unless I came in with the account holder.So I got all the information and got online and sure enough they applied the insurance with out my permission luckily its easy to cancel but its still going to charge me the fee for the first month. I guess the bottom line is double check before you leave the store. Make them show you their iPad before your accept anything (he didnt show me his).Who knows he might have just made a honest mistake

Service there is kind of slow, but employees a fairly nice if they get things correct. We had issue with some employees that do not do their job properly. We were told information that was incorrect they cost us more trouble than it was worth.

I have a small company and atat talk me in to getting a business plan they said o it will be 230 to 260 dollars a month and every bill I got was over 1000 dollars and I fell behind on my bill I called them and told them Id stop by tomorrow and pay it and they cut my phones off wall I was on phone with customer as soon as my contract up Im going to version at least they didnt lie to me they have there people I dont run my company this way and iv made complaints and nothing got done I even called corp and nothing still got done Im very dis a pointed and come to find out they was charging me 105 extra just to use hotspot on my devices I said well why pay for data twice and they told .me unlimited talk text and data 20 bucks per line its over 100 dollars per line I want ever trust them again

I wish I didnt have to give them this one star. Horrible customer service and an even more horrible new plan/service. I arrived at the store at 6pm and there were only two experts there (one of them was helping a customer pick out a ringtone!!!) despite the steady entrance of more customers. We were not helped until 7:25. When we finally were helped, the man acted like he could care less about anything. He didnt help at all. My family and I will be making the switch to Verizon as soon as our plan runs out in December.

I have been to this store twice to purchase items for my phone, and have been waited on by the same gentleman each time. Both times I have left the store without buying anything because he is so rude and arrogant. I dont know if he treats all customers this way, but you lost 2 sales right there, and I will never come in again for anything. I went across the street to the Verizon store where they were most happy to help me with what I needed. A phone charger. A really difficult item to purchase. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Me and my husband switched to AT&T from Verizon. From the get go we were misinformed and mislead about the promotion. We now have to pay off our Verizon termination fees (which we were told AT&T would pay) plus our AT&T bill. The service in the TRI-cities SUCKS and the customer service is terrible!! The manager needs to get control of what the employees are telling the customers about the promotion and making sure its correct! I never thought customer service could get any worse tha Verizon, boy was I wrong!

These employees were willing to help. Our problem couldnt necessarily be fixed in the store, but rather than not helping and sending us to the Apple Store at the mall, as the Kingsport AT&T did, they were genuine with us. We live in Kingsport, but if we ever need anything will travel to the Johnson City AT&T because their customer service rocks!

I have yet to have anything resolved by going in store. I miss Verizon so badly Im angry at myself. As soon as possible Im switching. You cant even use Wi-Fi calling on pre-paid services. People dont want contracts anymore, prepaid is the future... Look at T-Mobiles growth and model.. the lack of Wi-Fi calling alone is making me switch. Thats such a basic feature.... Whats below basic? At&t.
