Our salesman Cody and Sales Manager Ed, both earned 5 stars. If the process stopped there, this would be a 5 star review.Everything that was less than stellar resulted from our experience with the finance department. After completing the loan information online earlier in the day to expedite the process and making an appointment to pick up our vehicle and complete the sale, we still sat in the hot showroom (A/C was broken) for almost 2.5 hours waiting on the finance department to finalize everything. I was assured earlier in the day that they could beat the rate I had gotten through my lender. We found out, after waiting for hours, this was not the case and our lender was now closed. The finance kid that handled our paperwork was polite but needs to be coached on how to be more respectful of the customers time and needs. We should have easily been in and out in less than hour. I hope they work to improve this piece of the puzzle, which would certainly improve their future reviews and customer service.We are very happy thus far with our new Genesis GV80 and highly recommend the brand. Thanks Cody for your help getting us into our new car! Go see him, but maybe finance elsewhere!

I have honestly had one of my better buying experiences at Genesis of Carmel. I have worked with Paul and Mauricio, and you should too.Car shopping will never be a stress free experience, but these folks really are trying to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

First issue is after buying my Genesis my title was sent to the wrong bank. Took half a year to fix this issue and get title to correct bank. Second is after buying a brand new Genesis during my first oil change they tried to charge me when it’s free 3 years or 36,000 miles. They stated an error in the system, really after the first error with my title. Now my third issue is good luck reaching a service advisor and getting the promised treatment of a loaner vehicle while car is getting service done. Twice they denied me a vehicle now and don’t know when they will have one. During my first service appointment I was told o would receive a Hyundai as a loaner, now if you ever worked for this company or have friends that do. They are to never give a Genesis owner a Hyundai for a loaner car. I accepted it though just to arrive at the dealership to be told “no” they don’t have it and my appointment would only be 30 mins. After over an hour later sitting at the dealership my car was finally finished. These guys lie all the time and I’ll be contacting BBB and corporate about issues with Genesis not delivering on promise made when buying car. BEWARE OF THE FALSE ADVERTISING OF THIS COMPANY!!!

They actively lied about my APR and hid it as a daily rate when directly asked about the APR. It was very deceptive especially considering I asked several times and they told me it was absolutely the correct one we agreed upon. Always triple check paper work I guess but I wouldn’t recommend these people to my worst enemy.Also took 3 hr to sign final paperwork and they tried changing other numbers on us as well. I understand having to make money but I think openly lying when asked direct questions is a bit far.

Ive been trying to 2 days to get a price on a 2018 genesis they have. Its been worse than pulling teeth. Still have yet to get it. One lie the rep told me was he couldnt because they didnt have a stock number for it. After I sent him the stock number for his vehicle (was on website) he thanked me and went on to send more hedging emails, finally saying it was against their policy to send prices via text. It has been a very frustrating experience. If a manager wishes to reach out to me, I will happily send the entire text conversation.
