I dropped off my 2000 Dodge Ram pickup truck to be service. It cut off some time for no reason. I was informed they cannot locate the problem and then come pick up the car. I paid him $137 for the diagnosis. They brought the car out it was very loud. I asked whats the matter, he said someone has been stealing catalytic converters off the vehicles and I think they stole yours I said What? he said we think they stole yours. So we both crawled up under the car and true enough the catalytic converter was gone. I asked the employee what were they going to do? I was informed I must contact my insurance company and have them paid for the repairs. I asked them wasnt it their responsibility to take care of and maintain the security of my vehicle? I was informed yes but theyre not going to pay. If you want us to fix it, I have to pay them 600 to $1,100 they will install me a new Catalytic converter. I was also informed that they knew that someone had been stealing catalytic converters for months now but they were failing to tell any one who was getting their car service that they had this problem with them. Its a violation of trust. I would never recommend to anyone ever take another car to Tom Wood Ford unless they make the situation right. For the record Corey is not a sales representative, he was the service tech for my truck who never called to update me, he was just someone they sent to call me to keep my truck and continue doing nothing. Thats messed up. If I wouldnt have saw the newest review, I wouldnt have thought nothing about it.

I’ve used Tom Wood Ford for the past few years for oil changes and haven’t had a great experience yet. One time I brought my car in @8am and left it there, they said they’d have it done by 2.. wasn’t done until 5. This last time I took it in and waited (with an appointment). I waited 2 hours from 10-1215 and let me tell you also that there were no other people in there waiting except a lady that said she had an appointment at 11:30 and she left before me. I asked if it usually takes over 2 hours for an oil change and I just got a shrug and “it’s been a crazy day”. I would’ve been fine with them telling me that it may take longer but my husband went 2 days prior and said it took 45 minutes. I think they forgot about me and hurried up and finished right after I said something about waiting for 2 hours.

Jordan was very responsive and helpful. As I live over 2 hours from the dealership, sometimes that creates obstacles, but Jordan and the team at Tom Wood made it simple. He responded to me with additional pictures and information about the vehicle I was interested in on multiple occasions, and made it easy to make an appointment, and ultimately purchase the vehicle.No pressure & no gimmicks, just excellent customer service and honest dealing. I will definitely begin the search for all my future vehicle needs with Jordan. and the Tom Wood team.

Dalton was a tremendous help to us, very upbeat and seemed to really enjoy his job. He was not pushy at all like the last salesman at the dealership we went to prior. He listened intently on what we did and did not want, listened to a mommas concerns and got my son into a nice car with lower mileage.

Our first interaction with Tom Wood Ford and I wouldve said it was great (Dalton the salesperson was wonderful so this isnt on him by any means). We actually sold a vehicle to the dealership after repeated phone calls when I put my information in to see what I would get. We ended up agreeing to sell the vehicle. Since it was a Saturday, the dealership told us it would take 3-5 business days and we could come pick up our check. they would handle the payoff to Ford and cut us a check for the remainder. That was 2.5 WEEKS AGO!!! We have constantly had to call the dealership to poke and prod... we had to call to ensure they paid Ford (waited until the Wednesday after we sold the car to pay Ford while we waited on hold on the phone to ensure it was done)... then every other day since then its been excuse after another why we havent gotten a check and whos responsibility it is. My husband even went physically to the dealership after TWO WEEKS and all we get is oh we will look into it and call you back and NO ONE EVER CALLS. Whats ironic is that Im in the market now to get a new car (didnt think I would want one this soon but decided car sharing with my husband for my minor errands wasnt for me) and I WILL NOT be buying from this dealership because of the terrible communication weve experienced.

Bought a 2006 honda crv. The windshield was cracked so they were fixing that and I came and picked it up a few days later. Driving it home my wife was driving in front of me noticed my headlights werent working so luckily the brights did. You would think they would have checked that on the car. Luckily it was only the bulbs. Then I noticed the windshield spayer was not working a few days later and the whole cowl was missing. Salesman gives me a number to text about it. Turns out it was the windshield installer and said it was missing. I messaged the salesman back and he now says it was never on there. Why would anyone ever remove it? Makes no sense why previous owner would remove that. Now there it a gap from hood to the windshield where you can see the engine and rain can get on there. Not real happy.

The truck had no AC, backup camera was trashed, sunroof is messed up and you want 20,000+ with no desire of wanting to help fix it, that says a lot about you. I have attempted to speak with someone in reference to a car for about 4 days. No one is answering calls or even returning messages. At about 9am on day 3, I was contacted back however I couldn’t answer due to work. I was left a voicemail with a number to call or text. Did both and it’s day 4 and still have yet to speak to anyone. This place is a joke if you are out of town and want info on a car before making the trip to see it.

This is the second car I have purchased from Tom Wood Ford. This is absolutely not the market to buy a car in, but I was in need of a vehicle and Tom Wood have what I wanted. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, I had no issues in the financing department either. The whole process of purchasing my new vehicle could not have been any more smooth. I have been using their service department for a few years and their knowledgeable staff take great care of both of my Ford vehicles.

We had always had wonderful experiences with Tom Wood up until now. Purchased a vehicle in the middle of March. Still have not received paperwork to obtain a license plate. The paper one has been expired since May 8th. Have called left countless messages, and when we finally get to speak to someone -there is always an excuse and end up getting I will call you back by the end of the day which does NOT happen. Totally OVER IT!! All they have to do is communicate and resolve this issue. However, I will not hold my breath!!The salesman Jordan was wonderful so its not all bad.

I currently have my 2017 Ford Explorer here to be repaired. Unfortunately Im currently not in town due to work so my wife has been trying to handle this. Let me start by saying, I love praising good service and awesome customer service but unfortunately my wife and I have experienced awful customer service. The service department wont return phone calls, they lied about when they started working on my car, they wont be upfront and honest about our situation and they wont give us any since of confidence in their work quality. I have never had to post a negative review up till now. I hope the future customers here will receive the quality service they deserve and the service im not getting.

My wife and I were looking for a new SUV with three rows of seats when we decided to check out the Ford Explorer. After test driving an Explorer at a local dealership, we decided to look at a competitive Ford dealer just to keep everyone honest ;) We found similar models at both dealerships though the one at Tom Wood was a 2020 model, as compared to the 2021 at the competing dealer. With incentives favoring the 2020, Tom Wood had the inside track in earning our business based on price alone. However, after contacting Jordan Taylor, the experience began to unfold. Jordan was very down to Earth, transparent, and very low pressure. He was patient with my wife and I, as we both have a hard time sitting still. We were exceptionally pleased with Jordan’s knowledge of the new Explorer, and the ease we had in negotiating a deal with him. Then Michael Baldwin in the business office was equally as laid back, kind, and easy with whom to gab. We bought a couple of the finance products which we believe were also fairly priced and well presented. In all, our experience was outstanding! We have never purchased a Ford vehicle previously, but feel confident we can count on Jordan, Michael, and the team at Tom Wood to treat us right and give us a fair deal with future auto purchases, as well. I highly recommend Jordan, Michael, and Tom Wood Ford. Well done, fellas.

I purchased a vehicle from the Carmel location my experience was great!! When I returned for maintenance I received horrible service the three times that I was there… the first and second time I thought it was the sales reps that helped me.. but the last time my husband took the vehicle in and stated how horrible of an experience he had. More of a PSA for car buyers in 2021/22:I was astounded at how transparently deceptive they were when we went to look at vehicle. Not only did sales tell us they had it when it wasn’t even at the location, they told us they intended to add $6,000 to the sticker price because of “demand.”Do yourselves a favor and wait it out. These types of dealerships only care about their bottom line and not the customer. A good example of why people despise car sales.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS TOM WOOD! I have never had a problem with Tom Wood Dealers until coming here. Not only was the salesmen rude to us during and after purchase, I found out a part on the car was broken (making it almost impossible to put fuel into the car) before purchase. Only 2 weeks after purchase and they told me it passed their initial inspection so they would do nothing for me. IF YOUR BUYING FROM COREY LONG do yourself a favor and walk out and go to a different dealership

Salesman didnt hound us while my wife and I looked around.Would have been 5 stars however was told they would fill up gas tank while we filled out paperwork and turns out gas was still below halfway mark. The truck also came with only 1 key fob. The dealership we bought a suv created an extra key fob for us when we bought it.Also negotiated down to a certain price but when filling out the paperwork it was back at original price. My wife was observant enough to catch that.

I purchased a truck from Tom Wood Ford in March… terrible decision. There were problems during the buying process that I let slide, but should have taken as a sign of things to come. In general, the communication is terrible. I had to show up on site to get answer, phone calls were rarely returned. I get the impression they just want me to go away. Dealership was never able to provide the title. Eventually, I returned the truck and my down payment was returned. I had a loan and they paid off the remaining balance, but I had already made several payments, so I am still out 1500 and no vehicle. Stay away from this place!!

At the end of the day I found the car I wanted for my son. However, the I didnt like the fact the small inspections were not done prior to me paying my money down for my car. The buying process was easy but my inspections were not first priority by the service team & not timely. The only thing seemed important was the sale it seemed.

Kimberly was definitely helpful in assisting me and trying to meet my needs. As far as the other office staff ; first impressions are everything. I came into the office to finalize a potential buy. I asked for Kim twice and was told that Kim is a “sales assistant “, which I knew that, which is why I asked for her twice . The so called “front desk “ manager continued to push his agenda off on me as though I didn’t know what I was talking about or why I was there. He mentioned that they were about to close, which I knew that and I had been in communication with Kim prior to my arrival. After I was told I would have to work with someone completely different and start a process I already started all over again was so frustrating, all I could do was thank the man for his time and exit the building. I have never been to Tom wood before today and I don’t think I want to go back . Terrible experience. I absolutely did not feel as though I was welcomed nor wanted . I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was just a long day and it’s Friday . I will say that besides the guy hanging out by the door COVID-19 guidelines were being followed and everything was sparkling clean. Kim thank you again ! Find a different Ford dealership. Being my local Ford I wanted to go through them but everything I looked at is marked way above MSRP. Viewing the window stickers on their mustangs you can see MSRP is 50k and they want 65k for it and their mach 1 is a 10k market adjustment. Other Ford dealers are doing MSRP so Im not sure why they kept telling me they are competitive when I can show them on my phone the pricings of other cars that are similar that are within an hour of driving.

We were received quite harshly. Before even entering, we were asked if we intended to purchase the car we were there to test drive. We said Eventually, yes. They asked if eventually was today and on saying no, they refused to let us test drive the car. This is all after scheduling an appointment with them specifically to test drive the car with no commitments. They wouldnt even let us speak with the person we talked to over the phone. Very reluctantly, later they let us drive a bit around the block. But the test drive was not satisfactory. We could not inquire about the car or test its various drive modes. All they cared about is just getting the car back ASAP. We were made to feel as though it was a BIG favor they were doing by letting us test drive. I would rather they had told me over the phone that test drive wont be permitted than saying that we should buy the car since we drove it and added miles to the car. Overall, a not-so-good experience for the 60 miles we drove just with the test drive on our agenda. Not a welcoming staff, in my opinion. Im giving an additional star for the block of test drive we got eventually.

I will say, if you have any issues they are more than willing to address them and keep your business. Chad Sondger was professional, sent me text updates and videos on the reasoning for my issues, followed up with me a couple times daily, and also provided me a loaner car while they finished mine. Goods: Jordan Taylor Sales Rep is a great dude and will respectfully guide you through finding the right car and listens to your needs and wants and won’t put you in a car if he can feel your not into it.Bads: Everything else...Sales Managers are artists of slight of hand. Offer lower interest rates until you get into the finance room and then just move YOUR money around to make it look better but never actually doing anything for you... FO that was on duty 7-16-21 for the late shift male. Cant recall his name but he’s bald and big chested couldn’t sell anything without using intimidation and anger to get you to sign papers. Furthermore once you get into the finance office he will try and tell you how terrible the car is and build as much fear and buyers remorse to get you to sign up for extra deals that the dealership benefits off of. Honestly they are lucky that I liked the car enough to not walk out of the office and terminate the entire deal.Best of luck but beware if your not and A+ credit customer you will NOT be taken care of by the sales managers in particular

Very difficult to work with. Phone calls are not answered.Hey Tom Wood, did you know that if your finance/title department does not get paper work to the customer within 45 days, the state of Indiana charges the customer a late fee? Yeah,... thanks for that added cost.Buyer beware, when doing your paper work, make sure they dont sneak in extra charges you didnt ok.Speaking of paperwork, we sure would love a copy of ours. It wasnt in the envelope you have us. Of course, we cant get it with a phone call because our salesperson and anyone at the store will call us back. Thanks for that as well.

I made a service appointment 1-1/2 weeks in advance. I spoke with the parts department to preorder the part necessary to make the repair. I was told at the time that the repair would take 3-4 hours. I allowed two days. I called TW Ford at the end of the first day and spoke with their service tech, DeWayne, who said that he would call me back. He did not. Okay, no problem. I called back the next day after 1 pm and spoke with another service tech, Corey, who originally checked me in and who said that he would check on the status of repairs, stating that he would call me back. He did not. I then called a 5pm, to speak with Corey or DeWayne...neither was in, only to speak with another service rep, Chad, who informed me that the service tech who was supposed to work on my truck, would not get to it until Friday, that work on the vehicle had not even began! Keep in mind, this was for work that should have taken three or four hours.Was the service appointment a check in and wait appointment?Is there a reason why I could not have received an honest estimation about when work was to begin?Is there a reason why two service techs would not call me back so that I could make plans to be without my truck?Ive been a customer for 5 years with TW Ford. I have paid thousands (no exaggeration) of dollars in vehicle maintenance.Couldt they have:1. Not taken the vehicle in if they understaffed, overbooked and were not able to do the work as promised?2. Provided better customer updates about repairs?3. Had the balls to do the right thing by a loyal customer?Note: After posting this comment, I made another call and left a voice mail to speak with their service manager, Jeremy Forsythe, about this issue. As of 08/10/21, he has yet to return my call.I am done with Tom Wood Ford. Hows that for customer satisfaction?

My sales person lied to me! He tried to push a jeep Wrangler 4dr with some issues off on me. Told me I was accepted with my girlfriend to co sign. But the next day he called early and when I tried to call back and talk to him about the jeep he never returned my call. As it had to do with a problem with transmission. This is not a good way to run a business! By lying to possible customers!! You will never have my business again!!

Would rate 0 if allowed. Set appt. air bag then dropped car off to be told have to order bag will call. Customer service representative followed up see how appt. went and told what happened. She apologized and would get on it and make sure get rescheduled. Over 2 months and nothing ever done. Not very friendly service center and appears very unorganized and possibly too many new people. Will have to find another dealership to buy cars and get warranty work done.

I brought in my Ford E 450 7.3L turbo diesel in early April. The service department was great at reaching out to me about what they diagnosed and how much it was going to be.I picked up the bus a week and half later. After a paying a small fortune for the repair (water pump, diesel fuel leak, oil change), the service department was going to bring the vehicle around to me, but it took them 20 minutes to simply bring it around to me. One of the service employees came out and said they were having trouble finding it because it doesnt have a clicker. It should be very easy to find since its a large 14 passenger bus.What I later realized is that the bus no longer starts after sitting overnight. It needs to be plugged into a block heater (even when its a normal temp outside). The bus was not displaying this issue BEFORE I brought it to Tom Wood. Based on my conversations with another mechanic, this is probably fuel pressure/glow plug related. Since the service team was working on the fuel system, they must have altered something which is causing this problem. And this would completely explain why it took the service team soo long to bring the bus to me...because it was having trouble starting. This should have been communicated to me.Even if the bus had started up the day I picked it up, I still should not be having starting issues immediately after having it serviced by the dealer. Im extremely disappointed that I spent so much money to get my bus repaired at Tom Wood Ford, and now my bus wont start and needs another repair. At the very least I would like a refund for the fuel leak portion of the repair.

The sales rep, Jordan Taylor, left an inappropriate voicemail in which he was acting silly. I have bought two vehicles from Tom wood Audi. As a matter of fact, I bought a 2018/19 Audi Rs5 back in 2018. They lost my business for this unprofessional conduct. I called Tom Wood Ford and reported him to a manager. I am baffled as to how these phone calls are not monitored. I asked the manager to call me back.

The overall buying experience was pleasant and zero pressure was made upon the buyer (myself). Although, admittedly I did seek their assistance first by looking at their new inventory online instead of walking their lot and them coming up to me. The salesman, Mitch, was an easy going guy and made every effort to get me the best deal I could get. Unfortunately, I did not get the deal I wanted to get or expected on my trade-in, but thats the nature of the car buying beast and you have to expect that the dealer needs to make money as well out of this deal. They made a mistake on a rebate that was indicated online and tried to wiggle out of the rebate, but with the Dickerson for the final sale price of my vehicle they were more than willing to eat that cost of the rebate. Whether that was a tactic or a true mistake I am still glad they were amenable to giving the rebate in the end.All being said, I would buy from this dealership again especially if Mitch is still around!!!

It has been over 1 month since I have traded in my car for a new one purchased through Tom Wood. They have still not sent in payment for the payoff. This has caused my payoff amount to go up, resulting in me having to make another payment on a vehicle Tom Wood ownes, late fees and negative credit score impacts. Considering they took the car immediately from me had it on thier lot and website for sale for $6,455 more than what they paid me for trade in. I could keep going on about all the other negative experiences I have had here.

They charged me $285.50 for “labor” when the part was $9.95, the ship supplies were $39.95, and they spent less than an hour working on it. AVOID THIS PLACE OR THEY WILL STEAL HARD EARNED MONEY! Almost anywhere would have been cheaper

I found the truck that I wanted on line, and I called the north side store (Carmel) to see if the truck was still available and if they could deliver it to the Greenwood store..They brought it down and I looked at a 2018 F150 and drove it. I bought it that night. (Wednesday)They were easy to work with and I highly recommend Tom Wood. Ive never owned a newer Ford. Ive always been a GM person. But I will tell you this, my F150 is sweet!Ill be back to purchase again when my wife is ready.

We looked and ran numbers on several vehicles. During the process, I never felt rushed or pressured into buying a vehicle. I had been a loyal customer for the past 5 years. Ever since I got my Mustang, I had gotten all my service and repairs done in this facility. Last month I took my car in for some repairs. I have the PremiumCARE extended warranty on my car, but apparently it took two weeks for the repairs to get approved. On the top of that, I was charged with $100 deductible for my extended warranty, even though I have a zero deductible plan. On bringing that up, I was assured that it would be refunded to my card the very next day - It has now been 14 days, and Im yet to receive my refund, in spite of repeated calls. Im really not sure what to do next.The actual repair job was very good (credit where it is due), but was marred by this whole experience.

Hank was very nice. I came in knowing what vehicle I wanted to buy and I had kiddos with me. Hank was very patient with 3 kids running around. The staff kept the kids entertained as much as possible by providing them balloons to play with.The finance employee was Stephen. Stephen was also very polite and patient. Two weeks ago I found a 2019 Ford F150 online and it was located at their Carmel location. Brought a used 2008 Buick Enclave they didn’t offer me a warranty come to find out they only issue them on 9 yr old vehicles or newer . They tried to said it to me with a wet rust battery and I had to tell them to detail it. Just proove scar dealers don’t give a damn about makeing sure you taking care of and making a good buy.
