I’ve never left a review for any company, however I hope my words are heard. This company has not been honest in any way. I’m considering standing outside of the Keystone location to protest a boycott. They have taken over $3500 out my account and 83 days later I have no vehicle. I will handle this legally because I refuse to accept this injustice.

I would have liked to speak to the owner of the keystone location prior to filing court papers but no one seems to have his information.

They put transmission in my car that i was buying from them I kept up with payments without even having my car for two months i got my car 2/22/18 charged 750 for trans an 750 for labor everything up to date by 2/26/18 transmission leaking from the dipstick an 80 cent fix cost me another 280 i notified them they had nothing to say but when can you make your next payment then turned around and had a tracker on my car without my knowledge i was in Illinois when the car start having problems payments still up to date the following week March 13 they had someone hop in my car three in the morning to take the car from me all over 100 dollars i only had 3000 left before total 7000. I had to put struts on both sides in front a lower right motor mount plus transmission n it still needed work .

Honest Abe? Yea right. Tried screwing my dad over on $200. Thankfully we disputed it with the bank and got it back. They need to change the name of the place to just Abe.

Im happy to say I purchased several cars from honest abe auto, never had any issues with them .they have good qualitys of cars, from management all the way down to sales is top notch in customer service skills. Upon arrival its always a positive attitude and warm smile, will go over and beyond and helping out in all areas. This is a very shady place. Especially since its under this new manager. My insurance accidentally sent them more money than they needed so I went up there to get the extra money that they sent. They refused to give me MY money and they said that the only way I could get my money is if I buy another car and use my money as a down payment. I dont want to do that though. I just want my money. So to honest abes auto sales, I want my money or I will see you in court. By the way these are not accusations these are facts.

The instant I walked on to the lot they approached me with a smile and a handshake. I had visited many lots and this one was the first one that showed serious respect. Skylar was an awesome salesman! He was knowledgeableabout the entire inventory and even willingly disposed any issues with the vehicles. Muhammad was also extremely respectful and offered no pressure. They were all very open to negotiation. The cars seem prices very appropriately. I would recommend this place to anyone needed a car asap or anyone with an insurance check as i did not finance a vehicle here. I would go back again if i could buy another car. I’ve been dealing with Skylar on buying a new car from Honest Abe’s, and let me tell you that this guy is awesome. He was very forthcoming with any issues on the car and made sure that he did everything in his power to fix those issues. The cash prices at this dealership are also insanely low, making it hard to look anywhere else. After this experience, I’ll be recommending this dealership to all of my friends and family.

I went to the keystone location. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I walked in and found a truck quickly. Truck is holding up well. I would definitely recommend coming here to purchase your next vehicle.

I bought a truck. 4800$. Took it and got a diagnostic and the manager took a money off and offered a warranty. Today, 7/11, LESS THEN TWO MONTHS from purchase date and the truck is undrivable 4900 plus my own repairs at a shop (600$+). I ask if they can check it out and the manager YELLS at me telling me to take him to court. SHADY. NOT HONEST. DONT BUY HERE!! I call to keep communicating he then says I am harassing them HA!! ROBBING ME is what they did! SOLD a truck with NO HORN. NO BOLTS IN THE GEAR SHAFT!! INSANE!!!

We found a car online and went to see it this morning. Posted hours are wrong (10 am - 7 pm are true hours) but the staff was great. Open and honest and very upfront about everything. No pressure to buy.Took the car for a test drive and they offered up a good amount of time for it. Car drove well with one identified issue. Price was right and we will be driving it away soon!!!Thanks Brett for the great service and honesty.

I visited the shop today and although there were no cars that I was interested in, I will say that they had a wonderful selection and Brett was very open with me about cars that had issues. The only issues, on my end, is that I dont want leather seats, sunroof or a car over a certain mileage. I feel that anyone can go here and find something that fits their needs. He did let me know that there are 2 more shops that have different options available. Im totally not unhappy and thanks for the honesty Brett!! We are still looking!

Used to be a decent car lot back when they had the one location on Madison now not so much. Somewhat shady and unreasonable with how they deal with customers and as with any car lot you just got to check what your buying first.

My experience with Honest Abe on Keystone has unfortunately been very disingenuous and misleading. People said one thing, then did another and so on. Definitely wouldnt recommend if you have any sort of timeline and are actually looking for a good, reliable deal. Youre better off plenty of other places where they actually will move mountains to get you into something reliable.

My family and i had a very positive experience. They listen to our needs and wants and they delivered.. We walked out with a great dependable and AFFORDABLE VEHICLE!!! I. Would recommend anyone to give them a try!!!

Do not buy from this place. Lemon-Abes sells junk cars. There as-is no recourse but to eat your losses. Couldnt get the title for 29 days to be able to trade off the car. Had to buy another car in the meanwhile because of a car with major mechanical problems. Timing chain needed replaced $1400 problem.For some reason the check engine light didnt come on until after we purchased the vehicle. Dont risk buying from this car lot.

Purchased vehicle on 07/06/2018 motor went out on 07/31/2018 before we even got new license plates. Said they were going to put in new motor, i started calling then on 07/31/2018, 08/01/2018... Kept telling me they would get back with me. Im still waiting!!Okay after this review I was invited back and talked to Faris... He took the down payment from the Cadillac with a little extra and made me a Sweet Deal. Now Im Riding Around and were back in love again!! Nah, but our Business relationship is Much Better!!

TERRIBLE AUTO LOT !!!!I purchased a vehicle for my first car purchase months ago that was way above KBB VALUE not knowing even after trying to negotiate they refused to lower the price and guaranteed that this car was worth every penny( it wasn’t). Not even a full week after purchase the engine and computer systems go out, I look more in to the Carfax and find out that it has a salvage title and had engine repairs previously. Well of course I reached out to the guy Ish and got nothing but bs about how they were t liable and that I should have did a better inspection of the vehicle before purchasing. Long story short I’ve filed a law suit against these scammers and hope to be compensated for my loses soon.

I have never had a worse experience. I put 2500 down on a car that was picked up a month later because their associate put my due date in as a Sunday. They lied and said I took the GPS off of it and that I told them catch me if you can so that it would seem rightful. They denied me contact info to the owner and want the full balance of the vehicle to get it back. Worst experience ever. Faris is unprofessional and disrespectful.

Bought a Chrysler 300 in February, we put 3,550$ total into the car, it’s now November the engine went out on the car a week or 2 ago the mechanic said the only time the car had been to the shop was when we took it and a couple years back, the place is one big scam!!!!! I am unsure what issues the other posters have had, but I really havent had an issue except a rep who was a little to aggressive in her tone with me. But now I deal with Mary for payments and insurance questions and have not had an issue as long as I keep up on my car payment and keep them informed of what insurance I have. I bought a 10 crown vic with 100k miles, it has had no issues except a small leak in the tire (cost me $5 to fix?) and needed painted (knew that prior to buying and had no issues doing so). Giving the respect I have given them, I expect the same amount back and have had no issues. 5/5

Drove 3 1/2 hrs for a vehicle after 2 weeks of pics and questions and vehicle was a joke! Frame rusted, huge scratch down passenger side, half dollar size of paint missing, all wheels ruined by oxidation. Honest Abe NOT so honest

They sold me a car that lasted 2 weeks, took the car back to fix, fixed soomething COMPLETELY different. I had the car from March 2nd to July. I was only able to use the car for 3 and a half weeks total. They cheated me out of over 3500 dollars. Not to mention I had to quit 2 of my 3 jobs and they took the car while me and the manager Wally were trying to work out a solution. Do NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I am a real customer. Me and my attorney are looking to file a lawsuit. They only got 1 star because you have to give at least one

Originally I recieved a Toyota Sequoia, which on the outaide looked great! But, after having it inspected the gastank was held up by a ratchet strap and the frame was rusted out to the point of being unsafe. BUT!!!!Moe (The manager) was extreamly helpful and got me into a BEAUTIFUL 2006 Denali with WAY lower mileage! From the first email sent to the keys being handed to me, he was professional, polite and FAST. Got everything taken care of UNDER 24 hours!I have referred a few people to them and I will continue to do so. ALWAYS TAKE YOUR CAR TO BE INSPECTED FIRST! But, if something is truly a matter of legality or safety. They have your back!

Dated November of last year I got a car that o thought was a good ride come to find out first day water pump goes the car was priced at 8500 as is so I needed a vehicle at the time I financed drove it for an hour broke down had to get a tow an wait another 2 weeks after getting the car back on top of a total of 3000 I put down for the car then they waited til the payment was due to ask for payment still no car paid 1400 to enterprise on top of another 400 got the car back reported me in the same week another 1600 had to come up with for tow an repo etc 2 months later the rear end goes 4000 repair then I had a discussion with Ferris about how buisness operated which in my eyes is horrible not just saying that cuz of the situation this is so it doesn’t happen to anyone else then got another car cuz at this point I really just needed something to drive not to mention my girlfriend an I were at the post office when they repo wasn’t long at all for payments got a f150 from them then 3 months later it went bad again now back to a rental 2700 dollars an he claims he can’t look at it cuzThere getting cement done in back but still want me to pay payments I call this company a rip off I have bbb involved an also they like to hire females so they can try to interact an see how weak they are do not get anything from them to me they are big time cons that in all reality the saying goes you do dirt you get dirt I am now a buisness owner myself for non industry related buisness I would never ever ever go to them there not helping anyone there getting cars from auctions who have water damage an also other issues just to sell them to someone to take there money not sell something they kno is gonna work won’t get a dime if I had to choose I would choose no stars but even putting the star in the sentence would be giving them to much credit watch out for Ferris they have many locations he is the owners son an he will rip you off

I was sold a clunker here for $6,000 the day I bought it the clutch went out that cost $3,000 once that was fixed a few days later the fuel pump went out I notified the staff a few days after I purchase the car and they didnt care. It also took 2 months to get my title watch out if you go to this place their shysters

I was completely ticked off I went to the dealership yesterday with my grandson I was looking for a car I talked to one of the guys in the building told him how much I had to spend well not really but he showed me a car with 180000 miles on it sounds like it been hit on the one side on the passenger side when you open the door the muffler was messed up and he also told me that I need to get it fixed then to beat it all he wouldnt even addressed me he spoke to my grandson which he wasnt buying a car anyway so I will never come back to this place again
