Good morning. Somehow I am supposed to know that morning vaccines are by appointment only. I waited 45 minutes before I asked if we needed to come back. Pharmacist Pham asked me for my appointment time. I said we walked in. He was very short in informing me of the appointment protocol. I mentioned that nowhere did I see that information. We could have made an appointment or at least made better use of our morning instead of being here.
My prescription was to be filled on September 28, no luck there. Called Walgreens today and someone in the pharmacy told me it would be ready at 7pm today October 1st. Went to pick up my meds at 9:55pm and the pharmacist says it’s out of stock! I’m confused as to why whom ever I spoke with at 6pm didn’t let me know that my prescription couldn’t be filled. No phone call after the fact or anything! Then I’m told to call my doctor And request a new prescription be sent to another pharmacy, on a Friday night! Way to go Walgreens for dropping the ball along with terrible customer service! This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location, but this will be the last time that I have my prescriptions sent here!
Just cant get my insurance right. This has been going on for 2 years now. Otherwise the store is great.
Pharmacist and his team are so nice and helpful. I was just here for COVID Booster and they were very fast and caring. Thanks to you all.
Only store that has rapid covid test like everything else is sold out
Every single time I come into this location I am met buy the cashier saying Hi then Standing for 10 minutes waiting for help in the photos department. The whole time I am waiting the cashier is looking at me and just waiting to see if someone will see me.There is a CVS across the street go there at least they will smile at you and help you find things.
Great experience shopping today, and Ashley is a great help!
Non problem with my mother prescriptions she come from Abilene. And they refills good with out non problems thanks so much
This past week has caused concern due to Covid and although I have been isolating since March, I knew I was unprepared with the basics should I get exposed. I went online and ordered fever reducers, cough suppressants, expectorants, thermometers, etc, from the Hurst Walgreens and in about 20 minutes my order was ready for pickup. It was after 10:00 pm when I picked it up and the sales staff went above and beyond - So helpful. I feel better now that I am prepared. I Highly recommend this Walgreens.
The pharmacy will not give you medicine that is ordered by my physician. Says I have to come back in 2 days? Terribly inconvenient my last time refilling here!
NEVER FILL POST OPERATION SCRIPTS HERE. The pharmacist I dealt with today was a complete jack hole. I even spoke to the store manager and was told to call my doctor. I spoke to doctors office and they said he has the right to deny to fill it. Changing all my medications to some place else ASAP. Having knee surgery and being told I have to come back when what I have runs out. So now have to find someone to pick up for me because I wont be able to drive........ My doctor will be calling to speak to the pharmacist as he is pissed because he wrote if for post operation pain control. Never had this problem before and did the same thing in May for my foot surgery. Wish people would stay in their lane.......... I was told to call the board of something to complain sadly he didnt give me the number. Imagine that........
Ordered something online for same day delivery, was told it would take 1-2 hours. Payed extra for that too, then they use doordash. Never got my order and didn’t let me submit feedback either. Ridiculous.
Dropped off my sons prescription no problem went to go pick it up was told you guys do not except Medicaid anymore girl told us she could not find the prescription would call us when she found it and never received a call my son is in pain and needs his medicine! !!!
Worst pharmacy experience Ive ever had! We have tried 3 times to get our flu shots here. We have even been on the phone with our insurance while with the pharmacist explaining we are covered 100% and they still cant figure it out.
This is my go to store for everything I need! It may be busy at times but that’s because of the awesome deals and finds! The staff is friendly and makes me feel very welcome when I come in, and they always have what I need!
The location is great for easy access to it from work out just driving around town. They have a pharmacy inside that also has a dual lane drive through.Inside they have makeup, candy, candy and decorations for the current holiday. Great discounts just after every holiday. They also have a refrigerator section with some basic necessities. The start is very helpful and friendly.
Came here 8/21 to the clinic for my daughter to get a physical. Felicia was friendly and wonderful! My daughter even said how nice she was when we left.
Pharmacy is great. Especially Eric was very helpful, friendly and professional. Went Beyond his job!!!👍👌🏻
Medication always on time. I love their sales of the week.
Pharmacists Jeff is very kind in explaining things to you so that you understand. The female pharmacist Kate is really rude, very Condescending and has zero customer service skills. My family has experienced this several times dealing with her. She treats you like a criminal, talks down to you and then hangs up on you. Taking her time to explain anything is apparently above her and “Not her job”
I have always been satisfied with the pharmacy. Have my medicine when I need it.
Extremely long wait to get pills. Ill kindly be ordering move through Express scripts going forward and avoid going to this circus. The lady who helped was very courteous and kind and the lady at the register up front as well. To long of a wait is main reason for rating. Customer service is what got the extra star
Idk her name but when I started to melt down Dec 23 because I was getting bad news about my bank account and Western Union shut down early for the day, this sweet lady at the photo counter gave me her last cookie and some kleenexes and a hug. She was so sweet. She made my whole day. Shes a gem and you should keep her on the payroll as long as you can get her to stay!
Very nice front staff at the registers.Couldnt ask for a better visit! At first I had a hard time trying to get my prescription from the pharmacy all because I didnt remember my old address, but as I started to leave I saw Walgreens had an amazing deal on candy! So I went to the candy aisle grabbed some candy approached this young lady with long brown hair and a great smile, as she asked how I was doing she told me everything would be OK and they would confront the situation. Im not sure of her name but this store has a GREAT staff.
They deserve no stars! My RN tried calling in scrips at 845pm and the girl at pharmacy kept putting her on hold, rudely. After 20 mins she. When I arrived at 9:30pm she said they close at 10 and they couldnt fill it today!Worthless, no customer service,!
I had some pictures printed from an actual film camera. Happy they put them on a disc too and I didnt have to ask. Customer service gets a A+ as he came looking for me in the store when he couldnt find my pictures at first and asked what the name was again. Thank you
I have never had any issues with this location. Although I would much rather have their old hours, than their new ones. It was the only 24 hour pharmacy in the south Hurst area, that I am aware of. So really disappointed to see them change their hours recently.
Tried to deal with this location but was given the runaround.I will now not use Walgreens for anything. Waste of my time. I strongly suggest you find a better pharmacy than this location. Try another brand store. Walmart treats me better! Js
My dr called in a prescription on 4/10/17. On 4/11 I called to check on it and the automated system said there were insurance problems. On 4/12 I called to check again and the same thing insurance issues so I spoke to someone in the -call center- who told me that my order was submitted to insurance twice by accident and it delayed it. I called again on 4/14 and was told it should be done the next morning. I called 4/15 and was told my prescription should be done the next morning. I called 4/15 and was told that the compound pharmacist isnt even in until Sunday and it would *definitely* be done then. Here it is Sunday, 4/16/17, still no prescription. I called at 5:12pm and was told that I could come by and get my prescription. I came by at 8 pm and was told there WAS NO PRESCRIPTION READY FOR ME and that the compound pharmacist called in sick and my prescription wasnt even started. I have HAD IT with this pharmacy and WILL NEVER use them again. Walgreens in general has forever lost my business over this mess. NOT ONE of your -call center- employees or your pharmacists could be honest with me. NOT ONE! This says a lot about how you run your business. I have never in my life had such issues with a pharmacy and can not for the life of me figure out why I put up with the constant excuses and late prescriptions for over a year. Never again.
I was happy with the Walgreens Clinic. The practitioner was very thorough and helpful. I waited about an hour but I know it would have talken me longer to see my own Dr. as Im sure I would not have gotten same day service.
The Pharmacy is terrible. The people are not friendly and rude. They wait an hour before even filling prescriptions that your doctors office submitted to them. Pick a different location for your prescriptions.
Dont bother coming here because their pharmacy opens at 8. They will wait until 9 to start working on it, even though they know you are in the store waiting for it and there are no other customers in sight. Finally went home after 45 minutes without the prescription needed for my daughter after surgery because I needed to get back to her. Hoping they will text me soon with it being done - 1 hour and 10 minute wait so far ...
Seriously, I should have read the reviews before going here. They have no communication skills, they are rude, unprofessional and unwilling to offer any explanation for there behavior. So disappointing. I wont be back in there pharmacy. The cashier up front was nice but I was already so frustrated with zeke in the pharmacy that it did no good. Slow to serve and slow to fill.
This was my family pharmacy, but I will not have my familys medications filled her anymore after they gave me the wrong medication for a different person.I took my baby to the doctor last week because he had a fever. She called in his prescription to this pharmacy. I called ahead to ensure it was filled. The pharmacy technician was not focused. There was another customer in the drive thru (I was inside) who couldnt speak English and the technician was trying to fill my babys prescription while getting a translator for the other technician. I waited patiently for her and then she gave me the prescription in a plastic bag.Once I got home to a hot, sick baby, I pulled the prescription out of the bag and lo and behold, it was the WRONG medicine for the WRONG patient.I called Walgreens multiple times and was hung up on each time (four times!) before I made the trip back. I just wanted to tell them what happened and for them to have the right prescription ready. The pharmacist was helping a customer with over the counter lotions when I interrupted him and told him what happened. He told me to go to the back. There was a technician back there who was not the one who filled the prescription. I told her what happened but she didnt do anything. The pharmacist came back and checked the system. He insisted that I picked up my sons medications. I said of course I didnt, I was given a totally different prescription for someone else instead! Then he found the labels for my sons medication on the counter. The technician scanned them but gave me the wrong medication for a different patient with different inititals. He apologized, but the technician who made the mistake definitely did not.I called corporate and complained right after. I am a Masters prepared registered nurse and the whole scenario was extremely distressing. I had to make two trips when I had a sick baby at home. Luckily I didnt give him the medicine and it wasnt a dangerous medicine but it hit too close to home.Today the pharmacy manager Jeff called me and asked me about what happened. I didnt spare any details. He asked what the pharmacist did that night to make it right. I responded he was at least apologetic but he wasnt the one that fixed the medication. Jeff offered me . . . Reward Points. What am I supposed to do with that?? Forget that I lost an hour that night and caught their mistake when they didnt fill my babys medication correctly?I dont know how they can fix this, but my confidence is shaken and the whole thing has offended me.
Overall, in my experience the pharmacy staff go out of their way to help and make sure my wife and I get what we need when we need it. Very satisfied!
The pharmacist here is a really nice guy! He went above the store policy to return medicine that was accidentally processed as a refill. You rock pharmacist Jeff!
Wal greens has always been the best drug store for me very nice people
Walgreens store employees great-which is why the 3 stars. Pharmacy however, is a big fat joke! I have been going here for 4 years, the first two were ok, last 2 were because my insurance would only fill here. Well, the last 2 years have been more than ridiculous. You literally have to wait forever to get anything filled or picked up after being ready for a few days or more.. and they are sooooo disorganized!! Most recently, called at 1 to have prescription transferred from Fort Worth location and they said no problem, will be ready in an hour. My son also went to doctor that morning at 11 and they sent prescription right over. Fast forward to 730pm. Go to pick them up, didn’t have my transfer even put in and said my sons was still sitting on the printer, but they would have ready in 5 minutes. Ummm 30-45 min later still waiting while I have a screaming baby. I’m sorry, but they seriously need to get organized, it is such a frustrating experience every time..
Overall I love this place, but that red headed lady Margaret is so rude and I can’t stand her! She is the reason I won’t go back. That’s not how you treat people. No customer service what so ever from her!!
I am gonna to try to be objective I have been having my grandsons prescription filled at this location since August. They are the only compounding pharmacy in the area who would file our insurance for a componded prescription. Every month I request that his prescription be on auto refill to allow the 3-5 day window for compounding. Every month they fail to make this happen. Last month the doctor added a secondary medication to my Grandsons treatment of sleep and behavior issues. Last month they indicated that the new medicine needed preauthorization and I elected to pay out off pocket for the medication and instructed the pharmacy to try to pressurize it for this month. Fast forward to this month. I cervix to e if either medication was ready for pickup. Neither prescription was. When questioned why. Everyone blamed everyone else no one cloud explain. Every month it is something and no one cares. I have complained to the store manager, the pharmacy manager and anyone who would listen and have recieved no compassion or understanding., but more than that no solution. The incompetent manner in the most recent issues has prompted me to file formal complaints so now I am here to warn you. Do not trust this pharmacy with your life and your loved ones lives.
How many times can one screw up an order?
Called at noon to get a rx transferred and at 4pm it still wasnt done. Called again at 4pm ok well get it done, showed up at Walgreens 530, still nothing. They had no record of my rx being called in. ok fine, how long till you can get it ready? give us about an hour and half.... excuse me??!! Ive called it in 2x since noon. well you can come back.. i live in Arlington!!?? poor costumer service, def choose another pharmacy.
The people are just the best...this my neighbor hood store..❤💯
Good most of the time, but the pharmacy runs WAY behind sometimes.
I will never use one of your stores for any reason ever again. I called into your location in Hurst and spent quite a deal of time on the phone with one of the pharmacy technicians to make sure you had my specific prescription generic in stock. I was very clear that I had serious complications when taking certain generics and was assured you had one in stock that I was able to take. I was told it would be ready for pick up in 2 hours I show up a little over 2 hours later and surprise to surprise its not ready. As a matter of fact the pharmacist hasnt even called to have it transferred yet. A few hours later I finally receive a message that my prescription is ready I pick it up take it home and what do you know they gave the medication I CANNOT take. I call the pharmacy and explain the situation to the pharmacist (Sam) who asks me what I would like for him to do about it I explain im not sure what the options are and that I have not opened the prescription because I know I cant take it and ask if they can check and see if they have to prescription I was supposed to receive and he says all he can do is issue a refund and I will have to find another pharmacy that can get me what I need. I ask if they can check with another location to see if anywhere in the area has it and he again tells me he cant help me I can come in for a refund or just take the medication anyways. Pharmacies are not handing out dish detergent they are giving out controlled substances and are supposed to be responsible for what is given out and now Im being told to go ahead and take something regardless of the effects? I called into the store and asked to speak to a manager after speaking to James who apologized for the inappropriate behavior of the pharmacist tells me they should be able to order what I need and that he did not know why Sam told me otherwise. After placing me on hold so he could go back to the pharmacy he tells me that unfortunately the senior technician wont be in until 3 pm tomorrow (Sunday) so there is no way they can get what u need here on time so once again we are back at square one. James has the pharmacy technician look to see if the brand version is in stock but cannot tell me pricing until I return what I have. So after going downstairs and asking my neighbor to watch my 7 yr old daughter who is asleep while I go back to the pharmacy again at 11 at night. I get to the pharmacy and the pharmacist takes my prescription back after I explain that I was told to return it and he takes it off to the side and continues helping other customers who arrived after I did leaving me standing there after several minutes he finally gets around to paging the manager to the back to do the return. As if it wasnt frustrated enough to have to return something this guy has the audacity to ignore me and leave me standing there while everyone else receives services even though I arrived first before even attempting to reach a manager to do the return. Once the medication I am unable to take is returned I am informed that the brand medication will be triple the price of the medication I already paid for and cant take which I am unable to afford. Now I get to spend whatever time I have tomorrow before I have to go into work calling around to other pharmacies in hopes that they will have the medication I need. I have to take my medication tomorrow and on time or I will be suffering the repercussions for months to come. So I have now wasted 4 hours of my day in total only to be lied to, given medication I clearly told them made me very ill, lied to again, wasted more time getting a refund, and still do not have the medication I need. Lets hope I can pull off a miracle tomorrow and find somewhere to get my medication since your company wasted my only day off this week with lies that have resulted in the possibility of me not being able to get my medication on time.
Prepare to be blasted with club music upon entering. It’s December, no Christmas music except for one aisle.
Called headed for the healthcare clinic for shots they said nothing about not excepting certain Healthcare plans .I drove 30mins out here and didnt find out till after filling out all the info on the kiosk then had to call a 1-800 number just to be turned away. Not Happy :(
Aisles are clearly marked.
Chase is very rude and unprofessional . When asked where the next nearest Walgreens was located (Out of what I wanted), I got ignored while he made small talk in the photo section whilst laughing with another employee . He then shortly answered my question and walked away. This isnt the first time Ive had a problem with him but that was my last. I am a friendly, happy regular customer. I love to see all the familiar faces while being greeted everytime i walk in. I am a 61 yr old woman so my memory isnt what it once was . He treats me like im a bother so now I will do us both a favor and travel a little farther out. Ive just never been treated the way I am treated by this manager. Im sad to leave the rest of the staff and I wish this store the best of luck but I do think higher authority should reevaluate their promoting standards. God bless
I have used Walgreens pharmacy for 15+ years. Today when I went to get my subscription refilled. They could not find me in the system... not only that but AFTER I handed my insurance to the pharmacist, he kept telling me they couldnt except blue cross blue shield and i would have to pay the full amount... Ive had the same insurance, same info, same everything. I explained how Im in pain and the pharmacist was rude, told me to fix my personal problems..After this experience I will never use a Walgreens pharmacy again. I was treated SO terrible.
I called this Walgreens to see if they had any available diaper cream compounds for diaper rash as this is a compounding pharmacy. The lady on the phone told me that I would have to come to the store because she could not tell me over the phone any formulations available without seeing the child first. I dont understand that explanation, nevertheless I drove 20 minutes out of the way to go to this store only for them to tell me they dont carry any compounded diaper cream without a prescription. Furious.
I love this pharmacy...I normally dont have to wait for my meds when I come to pick them up. The staff is always very professional.
Slowest pharmacy ever. Promised to have Rx ready by a certain time. I went to pick up 30 minutes after the promised time ad still waited 45 more minutes. No customers in sight and two employees in the pharmacy.
I just moved to this area a year ago. Where I lived previously I used Walgreens as my pharmacy and NEVER ONCE had any issues.....NO issues with getting my prescriptions filled on time. I moved my prescriptions to this pharmacy and WOW.......Im constantly having issues with getting my prescriptions filled on time. I have a compound drug that they are always late on and I recently had eye drops filled that I was supposed to use for 5 days starting the day after my appointment, and they didnt even have them ready until 2 days after they were called in....by the dr. The compound drug I called in 3 days ago and STILL dont have a refill on it, and Im out. I call today to see what the hold up is and the first girl tells me theres an insurance discrepancy and the 2nd girl tells me that its just has not been filled because this is the first day the compound pharmacist has been in. The 1st day all week? Its Friday! They dont work during the week? When I mention its been 3 days, the girl I was talking to starts cutting me off and saying Well were not a 24 hr pharmacy anymore. WTH does that have to do with a rx I put in a refill for 3 days ago? Nothing. Just excuses. But she tells me the compound pharmacist can loan me some pills until he has my rx filled..... which wont be until TOMORROW. He can loan me some pills....but wont have my rx filled until tomorrow? Makes perfect sense. I guess if I continue to use this place, Ill need to put in a refill request a month in advance, cause you know, they arent a 24 hr pharmacy anymore.
The only time in my life Ive ever been given wrong drug information. From the tech and the pharmacist no less!!
Worst service ever. Been waiting on RX for 5 days to be ordered. No one ever called me. The guy at the pharmacy register was very rude. I also called and some lady picked up the pharmacy phone and told me to hold and put me back on hold for 5 minutes. Finally i got someone and she told me i might have to get my rx at another Walgreens because they have issues with the supplier. WTF Only reason i do business was do to 24/7 service and mobile app. Will fine another walgreens or possibly go to CVS. 02/27/2014
9:17 pm,This is a 1st for me(drive thru)while we help an elderly lady get her meds.I have been in the so-called convenient drive thru now for 18 mins. & I am boxed in because no one is moving,no one is getting their scripts.I hope it isnt always like this, this is terrible.
I have not used this Walgreens in more than 3 years, its less than 10 mins from my house. You would think because their specialty is medicine prescription filling services et al, they will have better service and more brand names on hand. Walmart does a better job if I have to be honest. I had a simple question and the pharmacy technician could not answer it, I called yesterday night, held for 15 minutes. I called this afternoon and held for 10 mins until they hung up the phone, all I was asking for was a nebulizer accessory to administer breathing treatment to my 4 year old.Needless to say, ditto to all that has already been said, if Walmart gives a better customer service, lets patronize them some more.
The automated service called me to let me know that my RX was ready, then when I spoke to someone to confirm the price they told me its out of stock the next person told me they had my RX but now pending authorization, so many mixed answers. The answering service is beyond ridiculous! When your call is transferred to the facility the staff are so rude, they disconnect the call. I called 5 times and my questions are still not answered. It used to be my favorite pharmacy.
In big letters on the building it says 24 hours.. guess what, total BS. The pharmacy is closed from 12am- 6 am. Last month they lost my prescription. Not impressed..
Ole black girl at the clinic is lazy and works at an abnormal slow pace
Terrible experience. I won’t be going back, I will travel a little further than avoid this place
Average over 7 min call wait for pharmacy! No Thanks. Cvs from now on
Extremely disappointed this morning. Stopped by at 6AM to grab some essentials for the day...and they were closed. The 24 hour light was on but the opening placard in the window stated they wont open until 830AM...it was like that for the entire week. If you arent going to be open 24 hours like your larger than life open 24 hour sign thanot please stop the false advertising and turn it off.
The staff is rude and uncaring - especially in the Pharmacy. Watch out for the pharmacy tech James who will try to gaslight you.
Thank you for the service
24/7 is the best
Not very friendly morning staff. If you dont like your job, go find another one that doesnt involve dealing with customers making basic retail purchases.
Started closing pharmacy at midnight and got rid of free Chase ATM machine
Rude and never enough staff on hand.... always a wait
I had another Walgreens cal to make sure they had the prescription, they said yes (chance number one), get there and wait 20 plus min in line am told itll be ready in 20 minutes, come back an hour later and they say its on a truck delivery the next day, worst pharmacy and techs Ive ever seen
Pharmacy is the worst very slow service and employees act as if they do not know what they are doing never again
Never enough people working
Very good service
Not 24 hours
BEWARE! PHARMACY SERVICE IS AWFUL!!!!
Pharmacist was rude!
Not the best Walgreens.
Friendly
Average Walgreens
Medicine on time thanks
Excelent service
