I went in not knowing you need a license. Which is fine I understand but once the lady knew I didn’t have one her tone turn sour and was a bit rude. I didn’t notice the sign on the door and I apologize for not paying attention but felt cold. If and when I get my license I don’t think I’d come back here. This is personal preference so I can review in products sold just the service to non license people.

Hours on maps showed they closed at 2. The door sign said 1pm. I drove from Dallas to pick up products before my next wedding. I knocked on the door at 1:02 and they refused to let me buy hairsprays I needed. There was still a long check out line. She couldve let me get what I needed but she was rude about it. Get your hours fixed if you know its an issue!!!

Always friendly really short on nail supplies

Im not sure the name of the person that helped my fiance and I today, but he was kind and sweet ! Not only that, I saw him answering the phone and organizing things around the store, smiling and being super pleasant with everyone! Great costumer service and a great employee.Side note, my phone was being dumb and I tried like 4 times to make a payment with Google pay 🙃 and he was so patient about it.

Worse service ever, I am a student and I always go to the one by my academy but it happens that I stop in this one in my way home, there’s 2 old ladies working they were rude from beginning to the end of my transaction and I can see the different treatment between me as Hispanic and the white people that was there at the moment, it was a girl behind me that look white as soon the other lady hear her Hispanic last name her attitude change right away, I am sorry but I am beyond upset I know I shouldn’t say this but you shouldn’t have this boomers working in this places where not only white people come to buy .

Today I was in your store, Armstrong McCall is no longer accepting cash, this is not good for Self employed Stylist. RDA is accepting cash, until this no cash policy changes. 100% of my business will go to RDA Promart.

My dad went to check out and the total was around 1K and we knew something was wrong! We were telling the cashier lady that it’s not right because we didn’t buy a lot of things and we asked if she could check. She kept saying no and that it’s right. We checked the recipient and she charged us for 66 products worth of moose when we only bought 6! She didn’t even want to give us our refund at first. Now we have to see if his money is actually refunded. She was extremely disrespectful and condescending.

I drive from Arlington to this particular location because the people there are so so nice and helpful. And Greg,the owner is beyond awesome. All of his staff treat customers like family. In here at least a couple times a week bc my salon is just across the street. All the staff is awesome. Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable about all the products anytime I have a question. Although Ive been doing hair 10 years, there is always something new. Thanks for being awesome yall!

I visited this location and ther first thing after I stepped in the door was, the question asked by the cashier, do I have a license. Can I get in first? After that I scanned the store and headed to the cashier with my items. She never asked for my license. She did tell me that they all are separately owned and that you have to go back to that exact store for exchanges. Inconvenience. I had forgot why I dont buy from Armstrong McCall. They are overpriced, they dont carry the brands that people use, then to top it off you only can go back to the exact store to exchange. Last time patronizing this business.

After choosing a product and then waiting my turn to purchase, associate was snotty and snobby. She asked for my phone number but when she could not find me in their system, she then asked for my cosmetology lic nbr. I told her I didnt have one and thats when the snobby tone from her occurred.. oh well we cant sell to you. I didnt know this and I dont recall seeing buying requirements posted anywhere. I simply walked away, leaving no words of dissatisfaction. Buy here all you want but hands down Id choose Sallys just for the better treatment alone.

This place has everything you need to do GREAT hair and its neatly organized on top of that!! The customer service is super they are very knowledgeable and if they dont know something, theyll find out for you...its nice because they give you your space while your shopping as well, no pressure at all.

You can only shop in here if you are a licensed professional. So I have to go in with someone, but thats okay. They have products that you cant get from just any place.

I visited this Beauty supply with one of my good friends & neighbor. I purchased a bottle of Joico Root concealer in dark brown. It was on sale so I decided to try it. I used it today & I was very pleased with the results. It definitely covered my grey hair at the roots. So now hopefully I can postpone having a total hair color for a few more weeks. I also purchased some Teatree shampoo & conditioner in Lavender mint. This is a new scent that Ive been wanting to try. It was also on sale. So once I try it, I will post my review about this product as well.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LOCATION!!! I found this location after I moved to Saginaw but I work in Lewisville and this is on my way. This location is the biggest location I have ever been to and it’s completely stocked with every brand they carry and plenty of the products in stock. If you’re a stylist looking for the best supply warehouse this is the one I recommend above all the other Armstrong McCalls.

Nice staffs

Came out to this location for a continuing Ed class. Meet with attitude from the moment I walked in ? Drove over 30 mins to take the class. After the class I checked the store out which was clean and they had nice product selection. Ended up looking at a Goldwell swatch book and a employee walked up and took it out of my hands ? I was shocked at how rude the older woman was and at one point in the conversation, I was asked “ are you even a working stylist ? “ Needless to say I would never step foot back in this location again. Stellar customer service. And for the record, yes, I’m a working stylist in Dallas, independent for nearly 5 years, trained in New York and LA and make nearly 6 figures. Tattoos and all.

Love this location, it is my favorite Armstrong McCall Ive ever been to . Both girls working were sweet and very welcoming . Clarissa helped me with my scwarzkopf color difficulties I had with a client and made me feel very confident with my purchase, she even recommended a shampoo to help with my problem as well . That is a great girl to have working here, she was educated, very knowledgeable, even complimentary towards me . I will be coming to this location from now on !
