This is a great location to get coffee and food while you work. Lots of people on their laptops and great food and beverages. Ive been here before for an acai bowl and it wasnt that good. This time I got the mango curry sandwich and its a 10/10. The seasonal pumpkin latte is also very good! They brew coffee here fresh too if youre into that.
The extra fancy coffee (pour over) was a favorite. The chai was nicely spiced. The Hawaiian Latte was also good. I normally dont like syrup on pancakes but this was great quality, not too sweet and not synthetic. The strawberry cream roll was excellent, so we got that both times. Highly recommend, especially for the ambience. You get to learn more about coffee, farm to table, see it being roasted, etc. Pretty laid back place with people doing work/studying, too. Can get very busy.
Very spacious Honolulu coffee company flagship spot with good cafe food menu.We had very tasty breakfast burritos and mango curry sandwich and Honolulu coffee company coffee, of course! You can watch them roast coffee. They had shop but they didn’t have many items. All in all it is a very nice flagship cafe in Honolulu
Wonderful selection of whole bean coffees from around Hawaii and an on-site cafe with great drinks and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Needed to grind two bags of whole beans to an espresso grind level for moka pot coffee back home. The employees did this service free of charge and resealed the bags for travel. If you are near Waikiki or visiting Honolulu, detour here for a coffee and a great experience.
Horrible experience. We spent 45 minutes in line to get 2 cups of coffee. By the time we reached the front 80% of the pastries were out. The barista rushed our orders since they were clearly swamped. He didn’t even attempt art on the Gibraltar I ordered, I saw him carelessly toss in the milk. I picked this place out and waited 45 minutes since I wanted high quality and crafted art on my cup as all the in-store orders had. There is a clear discrepancy on the quality of orders for in store vs take out orders. He also said there was a cappuccino and a Gibraltar. When I told him it should be a latte he changed his mind and said it was a latte.... that didn’t inspire much confidence. FYI the Gibraltar was muddled and watery and the espresso tasted over roasted/ashy. They clearly need to add another barista since one is not enough and is leading to low quality drinks and customer service.
Friendly and educational staff. Great menu, very good coffee, this aint Starbucks so dont expect overly sugary and dessert coffee. Good acai bowl, quick service. The restaurant has good decoration and education about the coffee of Hawaii.
Bathroom code:6789. Its very overpriced. They are located between Waikiki and Ala Moana, nice location. There is a bakery, a coffee roast machine, a workshop, and a souvenir shop. You can enjoy fresh bread and coffee here. You might feel its little overpriced, but I think its worth it because everything is so fresher to compare to the Waikiki store. Its too noisy because of the coffee machine, but it can be fun to see it. They have tours too, you can bring your ppl to spend fun time with them.
Love this place! Beautifully designed. A great place to sit and enjoy an absolute delicious cup of coffee, then explore visually stunning displays on coffee etiquette and local growth information. Add this stop to your list!
Great coffee. Great bakery items. Great breakfast sandwich.
Genuinely the best coffee ive ever had. the hawaiian iced latte is to DIE FOR. pretty pricey but worth it. cool atmosphere too!
Fantastic coffee and food in a spacious setting with a nice view of the bean roasting operation. Their omu omelette and burrito are must tries. The cold brew is delicious. We had breakfast here two of the three days on the island.
Delicious coffee and breakfast! Very cool coffee roaster and nice staff that showed us how they roast the beans. Great for a quick bite or getting some work done. Highly recommend!
My hope here was to try some extremely fresh coffee since the farm is relatively close. It was good but it didn’t seem any different than any other coffee place. I ate an oat bar and it was good. The pickup line was really disorganized and someone else picked up my coffee. Oh well. The staff was nice and got me a replacement. Watching them roast the coffee is a added treat! Worth the trip for the environment.
Gorgeous space and delicious coffee! The staff are all really friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. This is a great spot for local souvenirs - I picked up coffee, a mug, and a t-shirt to take home for family and friends. They also have a beautiful painted mural on the side of the building which is great for photo ops. Shout out to Keoni for the coffee recommendations and taking the time to chat! Mahalo 🙏🙌
Went there this past Saturday and the only reason we pulled in to the parking lot was so my husband could use his phone and so glad I did. The staff was so awesome, very clean, inspiring and a safe place to go to catch up on paper work. Will become a weekly field trip for me from now on. I just returned today Sunday and while doing paperwork a classic Hawaiian style song just played, and boy did it take me back.
Beautiful cafe. Cheap, delicious food. Excellent service. Would recommend.
Nice artisan cafe with in house roasted beans, in house artisan pastries. The coffee roaster is front and center so you see how everything is made. They seem to have it down to a science. The pastry chefs are behind massive glass windows so you can watch the creation process. Although there was quite a line, 9t moved rather quickly and I found myself st the front in no time. Lots of seating inside and outside with large umbrellas for dry seating. I got an Americano and the breakfast burrito and neither disappointed. Staff is friendly, speedy, well groomed and clean. Go enjoy your coffee.
Currently sitting at a table in Honolulu Coffee Experience Center doing work and I am very happy with the whole experience. It is a great environment, very friendly employees, and excellent food. So far, the coffee is on par for the area but I have not tried much coffee here yet. Overall very happy!
Lovely location, beautiful vibe and internal layout, pleasant staff, great coffee, awesome food items but with small portion sizes. Conveniently located directly across the street from the Hawaiian convention Center.I enjoyed the atmosphere on their outside deck, though the birds can be a little forward with their requests for food. The coffee roaster is right in the middle of the primary dining room and you can watch the techs at work. Lunch was delicious and fresh, but for the price was definitely smaller portions than Im used to on the islands (pictured is the chicken salad sandwich with a side salad, the dressing was amazing & the breakfast burrito with a side of white BBQ sauce - an add on recommended by the barista and the Waikiki smoothie). All good.Overall a great spot for a snack or a caffeinated kick in the butt for your morning or mid afternoon grind. 🤙
This is a nice place for breakfast just a bit away from Waikiki. The coffee here is mild though not much different from other Kona coffees. You get to watch them make macarons in the kitchen (though Im not sure where you buy them). Their pourovers are a bit pricey but its a nice place to sit and hide from the heat. Pastries were really coffee too.
Great atmosphere. The mango curry sandwich had a great flavor and the croissant was perfect. The vanilla bean scone was the BEST!! The coffee was great with good flavor!
We really like this place except for how expensive it is. A bit overpriced for what you’re getting (basic coffee shop drinks and food) but the atmosphere is welcoming and open and the staff is friendly. Tucked in a great location, getting to the parking lot can be tough if you’re driving so better if you walk.
Love this place. Onolicious local kine breakfast, brunch and da Kona coffee is broke da mouth! Friendly staff and service is pretty fast even when its busy.
Absolutely comfortable cafe to spend time for my day off. An amazing açai bowl and a great cup of kona coffee as well:)!!! Highly recommended!!!
So good. Delicious coffee and a decent breakfast.
I don’t normally drink my coffee black but their pour over is so amazing I didn’t feel the need to add sugar or milk. Peaberry was my favorite
Glad my friends and I decided on visiting this place after reading through other online reviews. The building was easy to find with plenty of out-front parking spots, even for a weekend morning (9ish). Walking in we noticed the shop truly looks like an experience with seemingly a fair amount of space to meet up with friends or study. The friendly baristas quickly made our tasty lattes. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was fine, just a tad salty for my liking. Overall, wish I found this place sooner and looking forward to my next visit!
There was this very nice kupuna who grounded my Kona Coffee. She has a good sense of humor 8)
Beautiful place with good coffee but a bit pricey. Had the Hawaiian soy latte (it has a shot of coconut and mac nut syrup) and was surprised at how good (and not sweet) it was. Also had a veganized version of their avocado toast which was excellent (even though $10 is a bit on the steep side). I really recommend that they make the minimal addition to indicate on the menu whats vegan or veganizable, it would make it even more inviting. :-)
Great lattes and vibes ~
Great food, great coffee, great customer service.
30 minutes waiting for cappuccino and three sandwiches. Turns out it was sitting on the counter and was an oversightThat can happen but the attitude like it was my fault- wowOthers seemed happy- they also got their food before us lol
My first time here and Hawai’ian Latte came recommended - fantastic! The lilikoi cake is fabulous!Cons: I just wish they understand when we request for a plastic free option. They could accommodate since ceramic cups are served, but they still gave me ice in a plastic, and refused to take back (when the plastic cup is untouched, unused)
Very kind staff, great atmosphere for working. There are power outlets and free WiFi. The music was a bit loud. My cappuccino was very artistic.
Great coffee & breakfast spot. The staff is friendly & efficient.
Amazing coffee options, great location just outside of Waikiki.
Dope spot, good coffee and lots of seating but super loud music (even at 7:30AM) - not the best place to work / be productive.
Love the inside. Need more umbrellas outside.. Lol
Great coffee, food, ambience and staff.
Very nice coffee shop 😋
Great food, great people and the greatest coffee.
Wonderful menu with fresh food and vegan choices. Super nice people too. Coffee is roasted on site with tasting room. Mmm.
Closes at 3:00 on Sunday I suppose its better nothing but....
Pumpkin muffin amazing...service safe and fast....but where is that wonderful pumpkin scone from last year!!?
Amazing coffee, get the pour over
Great food and coffee 👌🏻
Good coffee, social distancing measures in place such as hand sanitizer stations, closed tables, masks.
I love a good cup of freshly roasted coffee. We had an espresso and a cappuccino, both were fantastic. If youve never had a fresh roasted coffee, you gotta come here to enjoy the full experience. They roast the beans right I front of you. What an amazing aroma! And the health benefits of fresh roasted coffee are outstanding; Google the difference...
Service was bright, and interior is spacious and airy. Coffee a little pricey but alright. If only the cafe wasnt blasting music so loudly, coupled with the din of roasting. Focusing on work was a challenge, let alone having a conversation. Would like to have stayed longer if there wasnt such a pandemonium of noise.
This place is so cute! Educational and great selection. It shows how they get the beans out of the berries and you get to watch the production while you drink your coffee. So cool. Highly recommend the Hawaiian latte.
Good coffee fast service plenty of indoor seating
Paid $9 for a microwaved burrito this place is a worse version of Starbucks, mahalo
Great place to grab coffee and see a museum-style shop, quite an experience. Great pastries also with an open kitchen where you can see the pastry chefs working.Coffee samples and many tables/bars to sit at. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry, sometimes lines and/or waiting times for them to brew another batch of drip coffee.Bring your phone lots of options for photos!
Great coffee and service, music is always too loud though and I miss some of the old menu.
Super friendly customer service! This building is also something to see. They roast their beans in house so all the machinery is in the center. The coffee is really good! This place has its own parking which is very handy, and theres lots of seating both indoor and out! Whether youre a coffee expert or just wanting something different, this place has something for you!
Good quality coffee! Little expensive but quality exceeds the price.Workers there are very knowledgeable and happy to teach you about coffee. Not a matcha place but matcha latte was delicious!Have reusable metal straws that you can take which you dont find in other places. You can donate if you like which I would recommend doing since the place is very good to customers. One downside is because it is popular, parking can be limited. It is a decent size but fills up quick.
I wanted to like this place. The coffee was excellent. BUT THAT WAS NOT EGGS BENEDICT! It was a soggy croissant with a fried egg & runny milk sauce. (Why would anyone try to get creative with a tried & true classic like Benedict?)My suggestion would be to change the name on the menu so that people arent expecting eggs benedict and getting something else.
Love this place. I love that they are near my home. The staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable. Love the outdoors sitting area lots of shade to enjoy a sandwich and a cup of amazing coffee. Mahalo
Fantastic coffee house. I hung out here for a week or so during the afternoon, reading my book, drinking their coffee and eating their breakfast sandwiches. Oh my! Loved it. I look forward to being back out there in the fall. Great coffee - great atmosphere!
So we stumbled to this place unexpectedly. I must say that I was impressed with the atmosphere in here was great. The dine in experience was nice and the food and coffee was great The prices I would say is a bit on a higher side but all in all it was priced right. Would I recommend to a friend yes.
Atmosphere and interior are confident. When you visit in the morning, you can observe roasting work.Coffee is not bad. Rather brunch is so good.Kona beans are a little expensive. Roasting date is also a little over.
We got to visit the Honolulu Coffee Experience Center just after it opened in October 2015. It is located just west of downtown Honolulu and was the best coffee we had during our trip to Oahu. When we arrived we were greeted with a cheerful smile. We checked out the coffee production related displays and then watched as one of the coffee roasters worked his magic on the beans. He was happy to chat with us about his process. I ordered an espresso and a traditional cappuccino and enjoyed them on the patio. The espresso was good and the cappuccino well done. There are a few other specialty coffee shops that do coffee well, but this was probably the best coffee I had while on Oahu.
