Love the experience and the food here. They have many location and I went to the one in a hotel near Waikiki beach. Everything I got was delicious but I have to say the papaya bowl is a must have if youre bot allergic to peanut butter. There will be a Wow factor after eating it. Foods are super fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!!!

My daughter’s been wanting to try açaí flavor. The medium açaí bowl was enough for my daughter and I to split. It was tasty and filling.The classic bullet was okay, nothing to rave about.Expect a wait, like any other establishment. Though the lady could have not waited for 3 more coffee orders before making mine, not sure if she’s waiting for the other crew to make them since she’s taking orders or that’s just how they operate.Cute little place though. Popular with the millennials.

We had two smoothie bowls for breakfast and both of them were super delicious. We had the small ones but don’t let the size fool you—they’re full of healthy fats therefore are very satisfying.

Love love love the açaí bowls here. Pro tip; because it’s always packed and constantly has a line, order online and do pick up. Walk right up, grab your bowls, and walk a block down to Waikiki to sit and enjoy. Loved this place so much.

This place made the most delicious smoothies Ive had. I dont think I can reasonably enjoy a place like Jamba Juice after tasting these smoothies. The place also has such a happy vibe - once you get over the initial shock of all the bright sunshine yellow, its really uplifting. I didnt get a chance to try their açai bowls or coffee before vacation ended, but this place is on the top of my list to revisit when I come back! One note: we did a couple circles before finding this place because we didnt notice it said its inside the Outrigger hotel. Its inside just to the left of the escalators.

This was one of the best breakfast places we have come across while on vacation! Although the line was outrageously long, it was worth every second of it! My acai bowl was AMAZING to say the least! This is definitely a must even though it may seem a little pricey, its worth it!

Literally the best smoothie I have ever had. The blue dream smoothie was literally a dream to drink. It reminded me of the gogurts I had as a kid.

Caught onto the YouTube channel, The Smith Brothers, and enjoyed the lifestyle of hawaii surfing these brothers brought to the table. Thats where I heard of their Sunrise Shack biz and the different locations they expanded to. I was randomly walking down the street in Waikiki and bumped into this spot. The place definitely captures the feel good atmosphere and bullet coffee was good.

I really want to give these guys a 5 star review because their coffee is truly stellar. However, they dont seem to care about the pandemic at large, as they are not wearing masks or practicing social distancing at their north shore establishment. Though the establishment is outside, it is often overcrowded making it impossible to safely social distance and order. I really hope they make it safer to order their awesome coffee soon. Why not practice pandemic health safety in addition to providing healthful foods?

The Sunrise Shack has delicious smoothie bowls and quick, friendly service. Tried both the Tropical Bowl (pictured) and the Blue Dream Bowl. I had never had blue majik spirulina; the bowl wasn’t too flavorful, although probably quite healthy.The Tropical Bowl was everything I’d want in a smoothie bowl in Hawaii. Delicious. Loved it!I love that you can grab these bowls and walk around the city, or take it to the beach.I noticed a lot of people ordering their coffee and would definitely try it if I visit Honolulu again!

Great coffee and smoothies, and at a decent price for Waikiki. I give two starts because I dont like the math done by their check out cashier tablet. Id gladly give you a 18% tip as minimally suggested. But do the math correctly please. 18% for what I bought is $2.86 not $3.00. Yes, its only .14 cents but Businesses should always strive to get the numbers right, otherwise it feels like deceit.

Tasty and cute place. Got the açaí bowl with strawberries small and it was the perfect about. My bf got the I lava you and that was also tasty. Careful going in the morning, it can get busy and the wait times are long.

Absolutely loved this place!! I got a combo of the monkey bowl and the blue bowl in a medium and it was delicious. My mom got the papaya bowl and said it was very good as well. The place is so cute, we even picked up a pair of socks. The cashier was so friendly, funny, and informative.

The açai is just a fruit blend of berries and then açai for color. If youre looking for a true taste of açai this is probably not the place to go.

Deliciously fresh bowls and smoothies! Can be rather crowded at times and a little bit heavy but every bite brings a refreshing smile. The shop is very happy too and nails the surfer mentality.

WOW. The açaí bowls here are so delicious, though a little pricy. We went in the morning around 8:15. The line wasn’t too long, and the wait was around 20 minutes. I ordered a small tropical bowl and it was very refreshing.

Sunrise shack is our new religion. My college friends and I fell in love with this place on or study abroad trip to Honolulu. This little place really embodies the sunny, laid back, positive vibe that Hawaii truly is. The BEST way to start our day was here.During our two weeks in Honolulu, we tried every smoothie bowl they had as well as the papaya bowl, avocado toast, pressed juices, and coffee drinks. To say we miss this place is an understatement. I have their Sunrise Shack mug on my desk so I can remember the amazing memories we made here. The interior isnt spacious (at this location) because its meant to be taken right backdoor to the beach, duh. Sit by the waves and enjoy!The bowls are energizing, nutritious, filling, and totally photo-worthy (if you post photos, you WILL get asked where you got that smoothie bowl from).

Before coming hear I heard amazing things about The Sunrise Shack, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I tried the Açai Bowl, Tropical Bowl, Papaya Bowl, Monkey Bowl, and tropical smoothie. The fruit was so fresh and delicious! Presentation is 10/10. The staff are really friendly and are always working hard. If you’re visiting the Waikiki area, you should stop by the Sunrise Shack!

When ordering some açaí bowls at our resort, the fella checking us out asked if we were really into açaí and of course we said yes. He leaned forward a bit and said you have to go to Sunrise Shack and get the monkey bowl. Im glad he did--both that and the blue dream bowl are heavenly. Dont let the very long lines discourage you, it is more than worth the wait! Great option for vegans.

I had high expectations to the acai bowl here but it was horribleI dont know why it just had the worst taste I have ever had.Compared to the famous place north shore this seems almost a waste of money.I recommend Honolulu cafe more. Antioxidant or Hawaiian are good.

Located right inside the entrance to the Outrigger Resort. A fun, healthy place to grab a bullet coffee or tea and vegan/gluten-free baked goods to fuel up for a day of adventure. Or grab an incredibly refreshing smoothie bowl or salad to cool down on the beach. You can’t go wrong with the menu here. Amazing!

Amazing açai!! But why put honey inside the açai mixture???? For true vegans, honey is not classified as vegan and so I avoid it when I can. I asked to just have no honey on top and I had to settle with that because I didn’t want to go hungry or just be too “picky” when I’m on holiday. Despite the honey situation, the bowls were incredible. I love how they make layers with all of the ingredients so that you don’t eat all of the granola and only have açai at the bottom. I asked for almond butter and it was in and throughout the açai which was awesome! Highly recommend but if you’re against honey, this place isn’t for you.

Really great unique “blended” coffee, the drinks are not your average latte or black cup of joe. I got an Almond Bullet and it was amazing, it tasted like blended coffee and almond butter. Husband got a mocha bullet expecting his usual sweet and creamy drink but found it was much more natural and unsweetened “cacao”. Wasn’t his thing but I like unsweetened beverages and found it a nice change. Açaí bowls were HUGE and a great deal for the price. Staff was super friendly. Just don’t expect to find your usually coffee drinks and try something new!

Extremely disappointed and overpriced given lack of value- after a long wait we were excited to get some different acai bowls and they forgot one of our orders which we waited another 20 minutes for and then service was terrible they quickly got us our last order and it was in disarray and looked bad and gave us smushed up napkins and finally the taste of these bowls were awful! We were so upset that we had waited and paid for these bowls there were chunks of ice in my bowl and most of the rest were made up of granola. Everything about this place made us all very sad and disappointed.

The Sunrise Shack was awesome. I got avocado toast and a green smoothie with maca. It is a little hidden inside the entrance to a hotel and a little pricey, but well worth it!

So happy there’s a vegan-friendly place in Waikiki, as most of the restaurants aren’t! The vegan sandwich is delicious. Haven’t tried the bowls yet, but I’ll be back

I have always been a big fan of the Sunrise Shack, but this is my first trip to this location. There are a lot more options than the street side shack up north. This is my go-to spot for bullet coffees on island. I even included a pic explaining what a bullet coffee is. I love bullets because they give me tons of energy and kick-start my metabolism. The Sunrise Shack always uses organic, healthy ingredients, so I dont even have to ask where their ingredients come from. Today I purchased the Mac Nut Bullet, which had a very creamy coconut flavor and a nutty macadamia nut flavor as well. Very smooth and a must for those new to bullets.

Had classic bullet coffee, avocado toast and monkey bowl. Id recommend all of them. Plus nice service.

We came to Sunshine Shack almost everyday during our stay. The Bullet Coffee and açaí bowls are addicting, an absolute must when you are in Waikiki. I know it’s far, but hopefully the group opens a shop in NYC!

The BEST smoothie bowl I’ve ever had. I got the monkey bowl, cannot recommend it enough. It’s an adorable little shop (not really much room for sitting and eating), but such good food and coffee. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. They also have super cute merchandise you can get (shirts, bags, etc.)

Hope you consider branching out to the mainland...my favorite was the tropical smoothie bowl. How smart to pair granola with the smoothie. Very addictive...I had a few of them during my visit. My husband really enjoyed the turkey wrap. Substantial amounts of food while still being something light to eat for lunch

Vegan smoothie bowl heaven in the middle of Waikiki. Their menu is vibrantly delicious! They also have vegan cinnamon rolls & other treats. They are tucked away in the Outrigger Waikiki. Highly recommended if youre looking for something fresh and healthy to cool you off on a touristy beach day.

Amazing smoothie bowl and bullet coffee. Great (but obviously very sugary and fatty) breakfast. Kind of expensive, but that is expected. Very photo worthy spot with many people taking pictures of the sunrise picture on the wall. Staff were very friendly, food was served in 5 minutes.

Great bowls!!!! . We had the ocean blue and the monkey bowl in large. A small would have sufficed but they were so delicious we didnt want to stop eating. The bowls are equally beautiful and delicious. They really put pride in their product. We will return before we leave.

This place has amazing smoothie bowls! They top them with so many delicious toppings I got the monkey bowl and bullet coffee and am obsessed with both! The monkey bowl is an amazing combo of peanut butter + banana + granola + coconut and is like an ice cream sundae, but healthy. I live in Waikiki and it’s hard to find a place that makes smoothies with such basic, organic and high quality ingredients. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Definitely going to try the blue smoothie bowl and the almond bullet coffee next time.
