One of those rare places where both food and coffee are outstanding. Eggs Florentine and Prosciutto Toast were just amazing. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is local casual. The only disappointment were paper plates and plastic utensils - a temporary measure because of COVID. Can’t wait to come back when real plates and utensils are back! The place is a local treasure!

Fantastic breakfast option for anyone looking an upscale, classic brunch in Honolulu. My wife and I’ve gotten delivery several times now and are consistently impressed with the delightful breakfast options. I particularly like the Mexican avocado toast, rich and filling but not too heavy for a morning meal. I wouldn’t thought sweet potato fries go so well with it, but they absolutely do! And the avocado toast is perfectly complemented by an açaí bowl (heavy on the granola, in my case). I can’t recommend the Egghead Cafe Enough!One tip: pick up a reusable bag if you’re getting delivery!

Good service and the food was pretty good. I’m Taiwanese do my standards for popcorn chicken was pretty high — this is a good spin on it but definitely not authentic. It’s a bit crispier and the chicken was slightly dry. Good flavor though. The omelette sauce was just a tad too salty.free parking in lot and they will text when the table is ready. we waited about 20 min for 2 on a weekday morning.

This very hip restaurant is the perfect location for a breakfast date. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Now to the food! The fried pork chop was ok… too much breading and very thin pork. The braised pork belly was almost a winner, it was very chewy. The salmon eggs Benedict is a winner! The French toast was a drop down win! Not a whole lot going on. Not to sweet, just right. Other than that, it’s good.

Service was excellent, staff was really friendly and courteous. Food was ono. Will definitely come back when were on Oahu again.

Food is good not amazing. My omelette was loose and the egg wrapper was very thin. The s’mores pancakes was very tasty. Eggs Benedict tasted the same at all other places. The service was great. And our reservation was almost instant. We just had to wait maybe 3 min

Came here because there is always a long line when I go to the tea spot down a cookie stores. I figured hey whats so good about this place theres always a line and always crowded. We ordered the veggietopia omelette with salad, the trio (3) pancake sampler with tiramisu, strawberry and macnut. In addition well done Portuguese sausage. This place was pretty good. We enjoyed the omelette it was delicious. The only thing I wasnt a super fan of was the trio pancakes. The strawberry one in particular was alright. I originally wanted the matcha but they no longer have that flavor. Will be back again!

This was my boyfriends and I first time here. I want to thank CLINT for making our dine in service an unforgettable visit. Our waiter would always check if we needed anything while walking to other tables. We enjoyed every bite we ordered - Trio Love Pancakes, Shrimp & Bacon also Veggietopia Omlette. We also ordered the Honey Latte & Iced Macadamia Nut Latte. I highly recommend making a reservation since waiting time could possibly take an hour. We will definitely be back to try the rest on the menu. Keep up the good work staff!

Had a lovely time at this spot for a nearly midday breakfast! The service was attentive and the food was not only delightful to look at, but delightful to consume. I ordered the single Hawaiian pancake with an egg and the Peachyee tea while my partner ordered the crab omelet and Lychee tea. Everything was perfect. There was even a mixup with the omelet, but it was handled well and with care! Will definitely be back on our next trip!

Everything here is good.I always get the Eggy Breakky, scrambled eggs, salad, avocado and country toast. You can not go wrong.The staff is also great!

What a delicious breakfast!!! We ordered the Popeye omelette and cinnamon French toast, by far the best omelette I’ve ever had. So moist and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. The passion fruit tea was refreshing.

Great place to eat. The food is great, the servers are friendly and its almost worth the price.The only reason to ding 1 star is because they try and sell you bottled water by asking if you want bottled water without mentioning they have regular tap water for free. The prices are a little high, but its really good food!And its in kalihi, lots of parking and not in a tourist spot so the line wont be hours.

Was hesitant to swing by based on some negative reviews but was super starving so we dropped by anyway and were glad that we did. The food was bomb and our table hostess, Jade, was wonderful, thoughtful, and patient. Had the French toast and the Popeye omelette. The French toast was very good—moist and flavorful. The Popeye was delicious! All that cheesy goodness with the veggies and the salad! Will return soon. Highly recommend!Lots of free parking!

Im not much of a breakfast person but this place is amazing! I absolutely LOVE their reservation system, I will pay the little extra (if it even exists in this economy) for an establishment that has a reliable and efficient reservation system like Egghead. The service was on point during our visit present but not pushy with the check readily available; this is our new breakfast spot

This place is worth waiting in line for breakfast during covid. This establishment will ask you a covid questionnaire and check your temperature before entering their business. They serve a flavorful pork belly Benedict that melts in your mouth. In addition, they have pancakes, French toast, omelette and delicious coffee whether you like it blended, iced or hot. My family and I enjoyed dining here hope yours will too.

Egghead Cafe is a gem in the heart of Kalihi. Ive enjoyed most of their breakfast menu and, without reservation, say you wont be disappointed. In addition to breakfast the chicken lunch plate also broke the mouth!! If your in a rush, adjacent to the restaurant they offer a expresso bar. Outside of food and beverage, the service is stellar and the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed. I would highly recommend.

Nice place for breakfast. They do a nice job adjusting to the covid-19 times. Staff was helpful. Food was tasty and serving size was good. Price was was expected. Dining tables were spread out for the current times. Omelette chorizo hit the spot!

Hate leaving this positive of a review because I want this spot all to myself. BUT, it deserves the recognition for food pairing ingenuity, service that makes the experience better, and an overall good vibe.

Ill start by saying the Egghead Cafe food is good, however if you dont have a reservation then youll find yourself standing outside for maybe half an hour or more. The decor of the restaurant is something of a I dont care attitude and not appealing tbh. My biggest issue that I have with this restaurant is the menu, if youre looking for a whole breakfast (pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc.) You will not find that here, and you will have to pay for each additional item. The service isnt that bad and the people are nice, but this isnt what I would call a breakfast restaurant.

The food could’ve been good but it all arrived cold and the portions were small. Besides that we had two different kinds of French toast (Lala Berry and cinnamon powdered sugar) sadly also Cold! The delivery time was 1.5hours even though the restaurant was 15mins away from us.

Got here early to try out there breakfast and it did not disappoint. Tried the avocado corn on toast and it was good. Waffle fries were nice and crispy. Probably hard to make these taste bad. This place was great! My husband and I ordered the tiramisu pancakes, the cali-cali Benedict and coffee (free refills) and it was delicious! We got there early and didnt have to wait. We went again the next day, and ordered smoky salmon Benedict, boom boom chicken and vanilla latte. So good! The waiters were all friendly and upbeat!Tips: If you get there from 7am-8am there is no line and you dont have to wait. Afterward there might be a line from the reservations.This place does check for a vaccine verification or negative Covid-19 test with ID. Afterward, You have to scan a QR code and submit your information before being seated.

Crab benedict and bacon was delicious. Service was awesome and the seating was spacious. Just find the right time to go or wait in line. Totally worth it.

*Reservations recommended* We came at a good time but made reservations ahead of time anyhow, since earlier in the week we tried to walk in and there was a 45min-1hr wait. This place is so cute! Food was delicious! I couldnt decide what to get, I wanted to try everything, so I got the crab meat benny as recommended by our server-Kira (sp?) who was just amazing. The hubby got the pork belly benny and said hell be ordering it again. I plan on coming back to try all the other things I couldnt get to today. The kalamansi iced tea was delicious, surprisingly sweet almost reminded us of Brisk iced tea. The tiramisu latte was also delicious!

Delicious food. We had the shrimp and bacon omelette. First time for that combination, and loved it! Tiramisu pancakes were amazeballs! Loved everything. Decor is very nice. Chill. And finally, our waiter, Kris was super cool and made everything even more enjoyable.

I really regret going to Egghead. We showed up at our reservation time and there was no one to check us in, and multiple signs saying to wait outside. Eventually someone opened the door and I was able to ask about my reservation (which was now almost 10 minutes past). They told me to go to the end of the line and they would come get me (didn’t say when or why). We eventually got seated like 20 minutes after our reservation time, and then we waited to order. We didn’t start eating until almost an hour after our reservation time. When the food did come out, it was really average. The pork belly on my benedict had a really off flavor, and the texture was slimy which didn’t work well on a benedict. The salad was also slimy. So yeah it was pretty much a waste of time and money. Not comparable at all to west coast mainland brunch places, or even other food on the island. Paper plates and plastic cutlery were tacky too. At least our server was a really nice guy, and my wife liked the Popeye omelette.

Ive eaten here once for dine-in and once for take-out. The lattes are very good and theres a few interesting flavors of pancakes. When we ate there, our server was excellent and very cool! My biggest issue is that the pancakes must be cooked on the same area as the omelets, so both times my pancakes tasted like onions on many bites, which was gross. Onion haupia pancakes and onion tiramisu pancakes are not tasty lol. If they can adjust how they cook the pancakes, Id be willing to try them again.

Customer service was fine, but the pork belly was slimy and the fat was not rendered. For how overpriced the food was, I would think there would actual plates and silver and not cheap cardboard plates and plastic ware. The smoothie tasted like a blended ice with Mio. My food came out barely warm and the salad was also slimy. The overall quality of the place was a over priced dennys. I will say, the omelettes and sausage was really good tho.

This is a great find recommend to us by our Uber driver. The wait was long since they are strictly following the Hawaii covid guidelines, but worth it. Move over Kimos, Egg-n-things, and Kaila Cafe, the best breakfast place on the island is here! Delicious omelettes, rice plates, and sandwiches, I come here every chance I get! Their seasoned waffle fries are delicious too! They also have an awesome selection of Taiwanese-style drinks, such as milk tea! Free parking in the front lot.

Very friendly staff. They have a dine-in half and cafe/take-out half. Latte was well made. Crab omelet was well made!

We are new to the islands and have been in search for a great place to get brunch, and we have now found it! This place is amazing! The food and specialty coffees are delicious, our server, Clint, was extremely helpful and attentive, and they were very welcoming of our 16 month old son! I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be regulars!

We had two of the eggs benedicts (crab and chorizo) and both were off the charts. The crab cake than some places serve as an entree and was quite delicious. I had the chorizo and it was great!! Hats off to Sean who recommended that over the chorizo omelet. Also tried the green onion pancake and that too didnt disappoint. Will definitely be going back.

This is a great spot imo. I always get some porky bao and avo corn toast with the waffle fries...might throw some eggs on top of the toast👌🏽. Coffee is also good. Service was great! Ive had delivery but it was even better to dine in...also, more options. So Ill be back, Egghead!

We love Egghead cafe! The food is delicious and it is a great atmosphere. They do have modified hours currently. Dine in seating is from 7-12 and last order to go must be placed no later than 1230. They close completely at 1.
