Great cafe next to the hotel pool located inside the Outrigger Beachcomber. They serve coffee and alcohol. The Coco Choco Mocha was nice, a nice balance of coconut and chocolate flavors. Live music on some nights 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Merchandise store in the corner with some nice goodies, including hats, mugs, coffee, and recycled Vietnamese and Thai rice bags turned to handbags!
I found this place on Google while searching for some breakfast places. The place itself looks so gorgeous and just fits perfectly together. Also the coffee and food is very good. I had the Original Acai Bowl and a Cafe Latte and both tasted great and was presented in a very cute and delicious looking way. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. I couldnt have started my day in a better way and I definitely will be back to try more of their food options.
#grateful The manager Royce, and some of the many awesome people who work there— like Maddy, Damian, and Maya ALL make it what it is.They have a full bar, breakfast until 12, a pool, and a hot tub (which is currently under repair!).I haven’t been yet, but I heard there’s live music every evening. The ambient playlist throughout the day is full of Soulection-esque music (if you haven’t heard of Soulection radio it is a HIGH recommend)I truly hope you get to stop by and feel the vibes.
Pretty good Açaí bowl, price was average for the area, I liked that they added bee pollen on it. Four stars is for the confusion. After I paid for my food I was given a number and no direction. The people behind me were already ordering so I figured I’d figure it out. I waited where I saw the food coming up along with another person and then after I noticed all the waitresses expediting food I just found a seat and sat my number out. It took a minute for my food. Maybe 20 for the açaí bowl which was fine, but I saw several others walk up where I had been and wait for their food and also look around a little confused, so I think a simple “find a seat and set your number out and we’ll bring your food to you” would really help.
Sorry but the food here was truly awful and so expensive. $25 for waffle and coffee and it was the worst meal I had during my stay. The waffle is literally angel cake, no crispness or flavor to it. I felt my blood sugar spiking just looking at it. The guava syrup had no taste either. I tried to eat it because I paid so much but it was impossible. Would love my money back for sure.
I LOVE this place! Live music each evening, DELICIOUS coffee, amazing breakfast—-sweet potato French toast, açaí bowls, waffles!
One of the coolest little places in Waikiki ❤️🤙🏼
Everything was great but the staff is what made our meal amazing! 100% recommend for a quick breakfast
Coffee delicious but service terrible. Waited 15 minutes for two warmed muffins. Only when we asked for refund did they look in the oven. Will try it again but at a different location.
It was our last day and we decided to do one last walk around and we just happened upon this amazing cafe. Its located in Beachcomber Waikiki Hotel, its such a cute spot, you order with a cashier and get a number it has a small dining area that can fill up fast, it was pretty busy when we came but luckily before we ordered we saw a group leaving, you gotta be quick though! Its a bit on the pricier side but its Honolulu everything is a bit pricey. I got the turkey pesto sandwich it came with a small side mixed salad with cherry tomatoes and croutons, an iced chai latte and a cocktail called Lost in Waikiki that had fresh fruit and elder flower and white wine it was pretty delicious, not enough wine in it to get buzzed or anything but definitely enough to wake you up a bit before your flight home! My friend got the breakfast feast which has eggs, toast, a side salad, bacon and sausage, we also got waffles because....well why not!? All in all a wonderful cafe! the staff is super sweet as well!
Just finished eating here for the first time and all I can say is WOW!! the sunny side waffle w/bacon is delicious. The BLT crossaint w/ side salad was also a winner. Great flavors all the way around. Very clean and cool spot w/ great service. Its located on the second floor of the outrigger beach comber so its nice to be away from the busy street and you get a nice tropical view and breeze.
I got the pb delight açaí bowl and it was really good. It was surprisingly sweet but I didn’t mind it. Food is great. Service is good.
This place is good just disorganized. We sat at the bar for ten minutes before realized you had to order at the register which the girl working in front of us just kept helping people we had to flag one of the people working there down to tell us what to do. The food was good but way over priced that’s just Waikiki though.
The line for the Caffe was always very long because the Beachcomber hotel doesnt provide any breakfast. The food is good but commands a expensive price solely because the location is right in the middle of the resort area of Waikiki. If you feel like overpaying for breakfast than treat yourself and enjoy.
The food here is decent, but I was appalled by the poor customer service. It may just be the slow business, loud music, trying to talk through masks or just a general lack of an interest but the staff were very rude. Maybe things will improve later on when the pandemic ends.Update after owner commented - yes, we all need to follow the mask mandates but that is no excuse for the poor customer service. An easy solution and a recommendation is to turn down the music and maybe look into whats causing your employees to be so unhappy.
Went here because it was on the Japanese reality show Terrace House ^^ but also based on the great reviews. Wow! One of the best açaí bowls I had in Hawaii, and great iced coffee as well! Very hip modern decor, and a variety of lounge like seating, TVs were showing the Volcom surf competition at the time I went, really feel the Hawaiian atmosphere. Also souvenirs and other local goods are available for purchase here.Great for individuals and large groups. Wide variety of açaí bowls and beverages, I’d recommend for breakfast or brunch.Close by to Waikiki beach and shopping, a recommended stop!
All of the workers who were handling food at the bar had their masks pulled down and repeatedly touched their mouths and hair before touching everyones food and drinks. We ordered 2 smoothies and waited for 30 minutes to receive them. We had to ask the servers 2 different times if they knew where our drinks were. The smoothies were pure sugar and one of them was not drinkable because they had not blended the ice.
Cute Cafe with great lattes and very nice staff. However, I recommend ordering the coffee and skipping breakfast. I ordered the sunny side waffle and it was just ok. For almost $15 I was expecting a little more. The waffle wasnt even served with real maple syrup.
This place is located on 2nd floor of hotel next to the pool. The coffee was just okay and they took 35 minutes for a paninis turkey Sandwich, Acai Bowl, Muffin, and a house Coffee (which they dont give the house coffee right away and no refills). We literally waited 20 minutes to order and 35 minutes for the food. The paninis Sandwich was good though. Its more like a coffee shop with food vs a breakfast Cafe restaurant.
Large coffee here 7.50. About half the size of a Starbucks large which is 4.05 and 1 block away. Dont let them molest your wallet.
I’m not sure why this has great reviews. First off, they use fake (corn syrup) syrup instead of maple. My waffle tasted old. The ambiance is great. But other than that, food and coffee mediocre. Also pricey for the quality.. fake syrup.., come on. Gross.
Good spot to have breakfast and coffee. Variety of different waffle to chose from. Açaí bowl are fresh and delicious. Friendly service.
We went in evening when they had live music. The vibes were soo great. We had nutella latte on the recommendation of barista and italian soda. Both were pretty good. One of the severs came afterwards distributing popcorns which I loved as a gesture. The decor and ambience of this place is absolutely amazing. I am definitely gonna visit here again
Place is cute. Food is ok and expensive. Not my favorite to be honest. We went to Basalt the day before which had more culinary character.
Extremely slow service. Only go if you have time to waste for long wait
The coffee here is DELICIOUS! Tastes like real coffee flavor and not all sweet. The breakfast was good! We would come back to try some of the sweeter options if we came back though - we had the traditional breakfast and the waffle with egg and bacon on it. These were good, however not “incredible.” The staff are so friendly and considerate as well - great service. Definitely worth the trip for AT LEAST the coffee! 😊
Came here with my fiancé to get some work done! Such an uplifting environment with a pool and plenty of tables. Has a bar for cocktails too! Hand sanitizer and sunscreen available here for free too, bathrooms need a room key though! Check out maui brewing right next to it also.
Customer service horrible had to yell over 10times excuse me for someone to help me because the waiter with blonde strip in her hair with hoop earring wanted to be on her phone and take selfies than wave me off like I was bothering her yet she should have been doing her job.I was the only one in line and this was around 8:30pm
Server was rude. Did not expect this kind of low service in hawaii. Extremely slow. Expect 30 min - 1 hr wait for a acai bowl.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. Food was excellent. We hope to return before we leave.
Love the atmosphere! Delicious food & friendly staff. Definitely going back again!
Nice pool and hot tub, good views and a really solid Mai Tai especially on happy hour.
The wait was long after we ordered. The food was good. I enjoyed the guava waffle. It was warm and moist. The smoothies were very good. The latte was very bitter had to get shots of flavored sweetener.
Food and Coffee are good and they open early. Food is on the slow side but relaxing place to sit and wait.
Super fun Thursday night 🌙
Update: I did go back since they wanted a chance to make it right. They did do a good job with service recovery. They served us both together (for the only time) and in a timely manner. While they did not deliver a wrong order to my table during the service recovery, they also did nothing to address the fact that when they do deliver a wrong order & leave it at the wrong table, they just move it from the wrong table to the next table. Which a state so obsessed with preventing the spread of COVID, I would think they would need to ensure I didnt do anything to the food that was left with me unattended before giving it to the next person. So, the food is pretty decent especially since most breakfast places open about 10. I am however pretty disappointed in the service (especially since Ive worked in the service industry many years). Since this is pretty much the only open place for breakfast early in the morning, Ive unfortunately had to continue to get my breakfast here, unfortunately. Of 3 days, 0 orders were delivered correctly. Every day I (or my friend) was given someone elses order & the server walked away. After they figured out the order was wrong, usually when we said something, they then picked up the wrong food & took it straight to another table. I have a coconut allergy. I asked for no coconut on my acai bowl & it was quite obvious they made it with coconut & tried to scrape the coconut back off. I then picked the remainder of the coconut off since I did not want to wait another 45 min for it to be remade. The next time, I was completely finished with my breakfast & busted my own table before they realized that they never gave my friend his breakfast. They apologized for the wait & brought his food 10 min later. Today was the last straw. I will be cooking myself (at a significant fraction of the cost) from here on out since the wrong order was brought out again & then we were questioned rather defensively about what was wrong. We simply were confused why we were delivered 2 meals to only 1 of us where the croissant was prepared differently than ordered and the side of strawberries were missing. The correct order was brought to us, but the attitude was definitely not apologetic. The wrong order was taken away & delivered directly to a different table while I waited another 20 min for my food to arrive.
I love brunch food and this place is the perfect small brunch place. I got the tuxedo waffle and it was so amazing, not only was it covered in chocolate and ice cream but it was such a good waffle without all the toppings. If you here in Waikiki you must visit!!!!!
Incredible breakfast and coffee. The Acai waffles were my wifes favorite. Even if you arent a hotel guest theyll usually give you the guest discount. The atmosphere and attitude is the chill Hawaiian vibe. A little difficult for us to find the first time. Go in the hotel entrance on the ground floor, take the escalator up and the shop is immediately to your left at the top.
Went fir breakfast and a mimosa. Mimosa was great! Waffle was served undercooked and doughy. Got eggs and just toast to replace the waffle which was less expensive to which I receivedno refund. Eggs were overcooked and toast cold. I ate what I could as was starving then left.
Great food! The Coco Head smoothie is the move when youre here! Very friendly staff.
Its legit all in the name. You walk in there and you feel the Hawaiin atmosphere youre supposed to feel. The food was also delicious, and the iced tea comes in a variety of flavors. My favorite is the Hibiscus. The cashier will most likely ask you how you found out about this restaurant, if you say through Google maps or TripAdvisor you get a 15% discount with your order. Totally recommend going there! (Photo is the Salted Caramel waffles, you can add a side of bacon with it too.)
Waited 24 minutes for my smoothie and when it came out it was straight up chunks of ice. not to mention the workers were playing with their hair, wiping their nose and not wearing their masks. overall experience was HORRIBLE
Yummy waffles with fruit ..but too long of a wait 45 minutes standing in line to order.
Youre better off going to ihop. i ordered a Pineapple and mango smoothie and it was literally just Pineapple juice. And then i ordered a childs meal, pancakes with fruit... they didnt even give me the fruit. When i told the cashier she says oh its just orange slices ...I had to go explain that since i paid for it i still want it . Smh
Came in at 9:40pm for acai and 2 of the workers told me the cafe was closed. If you don’t service until closing hours, please update your hours of operation so patrons don’t rush for non service.
Ok...walk in and see another coffee shop trying to be hip cool and different. What is this I hear? Thats right, island jams (music). Walking into many Waikiki retail spots these days the music ranges from pop and hiphop. We get enough of that outside of Hawaii.Enough about music choice...the staff were very friendly and helpful. I didint see that, argh I dont want to be here look. Also took the time to explain menu items and options.Coffee...wife says her cappuccino was amazing. My coffee was also very good. We sat back and enjoyed the moment...Place was full of aloha spirit supported by good food and coffee drinks.
Very good French toast and hot chocolate make sure the lids are on.
I love the look of this place. Its open, bright, homey and spacious. Its also next to the pool. The seating is either normal table and chair, but they also have comfortable couches and custom looking wooden tables. Seems like a great hang out place.Me and my girlfriend had breakfast there. She orders a waffle with bacon and egg. To me it looked a little plain, and the egg was cooked kind weird, but whatever. I had their original acai bowl. It was full of fruit and granola which is great and delicious (actually IMO there was a bit too much granola for how much acai was in there), but I couldnt figure out how to start eating it without the whole top falling off.Overall the food was great and the atmosphere was just as good.
Worst customer service. Do better.
