We stayed at the Prince Waikiki, so this was a convenient place for us to go! We got 2 different Acai bowls (1 was a preset combination and 1 was custom) alongside 2 different coffees (a latte and a Hawaiian coffee). The acai bowls were pretty good and quite filling, and the coffee was decent too. Theres also a pretty generous rewards/cash-back program, so we were able to get a little over $5 off on our 2nd order there after spending around $25 the first time.

I tried the chai tea, vanilla almond milk cappuccino, and vanilla almond milk latte. The first time I had a vanilla latte, it was good, but gritty with grounds. I wasn’t a fan of the chai tea.The service is hit and miss. The fourth time I came, the barista didn’t fill up my cups. I ordered two lattes. I paid for two large lattes. I think the barista was so busy talking with a co-worker that she didn’t feel like getting a new box of almond milk when the current one was empty. As much as I tip and these were $7 lattes, that is unacceptable. The manager made it right though after I took a survey. The ambience or setting is good with lots indoor and outdoor seating. There’s a little shop off to the side for souvenirs, branded items, or tea and coffee purchases. The location is prime. There’s a harbor steps away, the Ala Moana shopping center a few blocks away, and beaches and parks nearby.

Customer service10/10Value for money10/10Quality of experience10/10Believe it or not, this is all around the BEST acai bowl place on the island if not the entire Hawaii.Acai is not from Hawaii. It is Brazilian, so what matters is how it is made and how much quality the shop decides to put in.The acai bowl here is just properly made and offers the best taste. The toppings are perfect and not shy in quantity.Very good balance!Else where you either get too much or too little and the acai can come too much of a mush because the concentration they used. Here. It is perfect.I am an acai bowl lover and you can trust me it worths it to go here just got acai bowl.Acai puree is not offered here but you can have that else where.

We opted for this location since it seemed the least busiest. There was not much of a wait around ~7:40 pm and got our drinks quickly. We went with the Iced Matcha Latte w/ soymilk and Iced Hawaiian Latte w/ vanilla. Personally loved the matcha as it had a strong matcha flavor. The Hawaiian Latte had a prominent coconut flavor.Only thing is that they only have a large for iced drinks, and we weren’t made aware of the fact until we ordered.Otherwise, drinks were yummy.

This is a pretty good satellite location for Honolulu Coffee Co. With the main location so close you can trust that the pastries are all extra fresh!

TLDR: My drinks got stolen.I like Honolulu coffee, but the staff at this location is below the average of coffee shops in Hawaii or California. I live in California, and the staff in California will recognize customers names and act friendly when they hand over the drinks. The staff at this Honolulu coffee shop dont verify what you order, dont give the recipes, dont recognize names, dont verify who take the drinks. They literally just call names and walk away.I stay in Prince hotel for 2 weeks and get their coffee multiple times. One time my drinks got stolen. The staff said they can only remake the drinks if I have the receipt. The funny thing is they didnt give us receipt in the first place. They did give us one time courtesy, but they act like this is my fault. The overall experience makes me very uncomfortable.Last time I stayed in Prince hotel (before covid), its not Honolulu coffee. Its sad that Prince hotel builds partnership with Honolulu coffee. Starbucks would be a better alternative as their service and training is more solid than Honolulu coffee. Starbucks also have local coffee.

Great espresso and extremely friendly/hospitable staff. We are from out of town but on our second day this was the 3rd coffee shop we tried and have continued to return each day following because of the espresso and because of employees like Jack who made us feel like locals and made it feel less like a standard robotic customer service experience.

Took almost 30 minutes to get my burrito, and when I did get it, it wasn’t even heated. I had to take it back. I also got a chai tea and it was not great.

Went looking for a decent coffee and ended up here! Ordered a large Americano for the missus and a Large Kiwi Flat White for me even though not on the menu! The barista nailed it! So hard finding a decent coffee in the states! Even more amusing was watching tourists on phones waking into the glass either side of the doors!
