The Kona Coffee Purveyor opens at 7:00pm and we arrived at 7:05 and the line was out the door. We stood in line for 30 min, but the wait was well worth it! While you wait to get the chance to fill your lungs with the sweet aroma of all the deliciousness sweet and coffee beans. Our favorite was the cheese and ham croissant. The croissant fluffy, light and melts in your mouth. Second favorite was the raspberry scone. We also ventured by trying the guava coconut croissant and it was the perfect piece of heaven in your mouth. The drinks were okay but the best one was the hot chocolate. We look forward to going again and trying more awesome pastries. Per one of their employees they have cinnamon roles after 9:30am. We look forward to a second visit.

Pastries were amazing. Got the pumpkin kouign Aman and the guava Croissant. Quite pricey but both were delicious! They open at 7am - when we walked by the place yesterday we saw a huge line around 8am so I came around 6:40 to be the first in line before they open. By 6:50-6:55 there was already a pretty long line!

The reviews about the smell are REAL! It smells extremely good in this place, words cant even really describe... You must go. They have a bit of something for anyone.I got an iced coffee, very good flavor!! I arrived at about 0730 on a Monday. I waited for probably 15-20 min in line then another 5 or so for my drink. The line definitely got long but moves fairly quick. Though, you should be prepared to stand in line.Accessibility: curb-cuts and lots of space in the building to maneuver a stroller/wheelchairParking: street parking, did not notice any accessible spots nearbySeating: outdoor, a few tables and chairsOptions: sweet or savory pastries, hot coffee, cold coffee, tea, coffee tasting, t shirts, tumblers, coffee bagsStaff: busyRestrooms: somewhere within the shopping centerAtmosphere: deliciousAnimals: service animalsKid Friendly: sure

Long line (about 10am) that took us about 45 minutes to get through to the counter, but it was well worth the wait. They roast their own Kona coffee which is delicious--if you like the flavor of coffee (its more distinct than most coffees Ive had). I went for the Espresso Tonic, which was super tasty.Their pastries are incredible and worth waiting in line for, even if you dont drink coffee. We got a wide assortment (everything sounded good) and enjoyed each one.Theres also a retail wall where you can buy whole coffee, brewers, and more. We tasted a couple of their roasts and left with beans to take home.

My partner and I went here on a weekday morning around 8 am. There was a bit of a line, but nothing more than 15 mins. The pastries are good, but there is nothing other than pastries here for food. We tried the chocolate croissant, almond and guava croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. They were all good, but super fried as you would expect and as a result—not so friendly on the tum tum. I would recommend eating something more clean if you’re in for a day of hiking and snorkeling in the hot Hawaiian sun.The coffee was pretty good, but I found it to be pretty expensive for such a small portion. I got the nitro, and it was $6.50 for maybe 8oz. Overall, I’d skip this spot as there are better options in the area.

TIP: buy a bag and you can bypass the line AND order your latte/pastry.This review is primarily credited to our barista Vivian. She walked us through a tasting of all Kona has to offer and was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and thorough. It really made us want to buy all the bags they had to offer despite it being pricier than other Kona coffee purveyors. They source the beans from Kona, but they stand out because of their roasting process. Luckily, we went at the start of the trip because we were able to enjoy delicious coffee for the rest of the week.BONUS - they serve b. Patisserie pastries. Being from SF, it was so nice to see a touch of home here. The black sesame Kougin-Amann is buttery heaven. Go early to beat the lines or grab a bag and say hi to Vivian!

Enjoy the aroma and ambience as you patiently wait for your order. Grab a table on the porch as you drink this sweet nectar of the gods and nibble on one of the fine pastries. Once your senses are satisfied walk one block over and nurture your soul on the beautiful coastline of Oahu.

We got a lot of stuff: A Kona coffee, a pastry (I think it was guava, passionfruit, and lychee?), an iced tea, and 2 bags of coffee beans. The coffee was good (and the beans make good coffee too), and the pastry was fantastic. Customer service:10/10Value for money8/10Quality of experience7/10Second visit:The second visit we tried some better options. The crossant or other cheese option is very recommended.Still dont recommend the coffee.First visit:This place is overrated and the wait was ridiculous, but the staffs are very kind and energetic. I will comment on the food options we tried:The coffee iced latte is way too creamy while the cold brew is simply too acidic. The croissants were delicious: pineapple coconut was well done! However, the black sesame is just too greasy: you see the a puddle of it in the baked good.Everybody can make power food with sweet for people to like them. It takes an effort to bake with less caloric budget but a good taste. The worst is the scone. Scone is bone dry, over-baked and without flavor. One cannot clearly taste the cheddar or bacon, makes one wonder, why am I eating a piece of greasy cake? The customer service is good. Despite the business being very busy, you still see smiles from the staff. This alone warrants + two stars.

Very good! Great paired with a coffee or tea. Pastry is flaky, tender, and lightly sweet. For the croissant, nothing in particular is overpowering - it’s a great balance of Hawaiian flavors. The kouign amann did suffer from being 90% strawberry taste however. Still, don’t let that deter you - the taste is still fantastic.

The coffee is brewed expertly, they do everything with timers and scales to be very exact. Obviously they sell Kona coffee here and you can even get the prized peaberry Kona coffee by the pound or just a cup of pour over. From coffee to pastries.. everything was absolutely delicious. We arrived at opening ~7 and the line was already long. The wait took an hour, until we were finally able to order. We ordered the iced vanilla latte w/ soymilk.. really good. As for the pastries, we got the black sesame kouign amann and the chocolate almond banana croissant. Long lines 7-11am.. hence if you don’t care for the long wait and can wait for that cup of joe until later..then visit them after 11ish to sample their goodies! The classic “kouign-amann” is hands down the best I have ever tasted! The affogato is delish and makes for a great afternoon treat! Items sold at this cafe are not cheap but they are oh-so-worth it! Staff is excellent. Very energetic and polite despite the crazy mad rush! and they have sparkling water on tap!hallelujah!! 🙌🙌Lastly.. while I prefer my coffee beans bold and dark roast.. This is a bad breakfast experience. Just now, at 10:10am, I went to this famous restaurant. I ordered a breakfast and waited outside. There were about 5 or 6 batches of people waiting for food. On the open-air table, there was a homeless man drinking coffee. I thought this was a sympathetic place. Until about 20 minutes later, a tall handsome man in front of me got the food, delivered the food to the homeless man’s table and left. I don’t know how long he waited because I waited 30 minutes before getting me Breakfast. This scene was very heartwarming, but it only lasted 2 minutes. Two minutes after the tall handsome man left, the young lady with short hair at the cash register came out and said something to the tramp, who reluctantly took the food and left! He eats the food sold in the store. He has the right to sit there and eat, right? Why do you want to drive him away? This is sad and surprising! After waiting for 30 minutes, all the people waiting in front of me got the food, and some people who came later, who ordered online, also got the food. When I walked into the store, the short-haired lady at the cashier saw me go in and took my breakfast bag from the side and gave it to me. I saw at the door that the bag had been taken to the cashier about seven or eight minutes ago. The cashier lady could always see me and waited at the door, but didnt give it to me until I entered the store. Do you dislike my tip for less? I just took out food, so I chose a 12% tip. In short, the service is terrible! This made me experience a bad morning,I will never go back again.
