Brew & Foam Coffee House is a cute spot for good cold brew and other breakfast/lunch items. The cold brew is tasty and dtrong. The açaí bowls are excellent. Everything is fresh and made well. The Avalanche is big and comes with so many delicious toppings. The staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is clean. This is a great place to start your day!
My new favorite coffee shop in Honolulu! Love the story behind the background of the coffee shop. 2 guys loved to surf and drink coffee. Wanted to open a shop for the locals to celebrate that! Went here 2 days a row!The price of the items there are cheaper than all the other coffee shops around but not leaking in quality or taste of beans. Tried the haupia Mocha which was sweet and delicious with hints of coconut. The acai bowl was very fresh and delicious and well worth thr value! Will recommend friends and family to this place and definitely stop by again on my way if Im back in town!
Aesthetic is EVERYTHING here. I love the vibe and the staff. Im on keto and finding coffee options that actually taste good can be pretty difficult. The staff did an excellent job finding me a flavor I love! The business also has a contact tracing sign-in sheet for those who chose to dine in. I was able to enjoy my drink while sitting at a beautiful wooden bar. There is a gorgeous view of McCully and AlaWai. 10/10 would come back!
Great for takeout -If I could only have one coffee drink for the rest of my life, the blended Haupia Mocha would be it! Tastes like refreshing coconut water with lightly sweet chocolate and coffee flavors. Refreshing and energizing :) Were here for a week, Ill try to get it as much as possible! (16 oz with whipped cream) Fantastic recommendation by the server!Great variety of fruits in the Acai Avalanche ($12) and adorable mini vegetable quiches (2 for $5, a little pricey for the quantity). :)
Vegan pastries greet you while you wait to order. Classic coffee drinks along with some lunch options are available. Local beans (of course!).Tried the Haupia Mocha, iced, with whipped cream. The brew tastes great with chocolate and coconut. Not bitter (even though I enjoy a bitter chocolate taste) so if you like a sweet coffee drink, this was a great option.Friendly staff and the wait is decent considering how busy it was.Keep a bamboo straw, these paper straws dont survive the whole drink.
Visiting for honeymoon and my husband got a smoothie (they accommodate all sorts of food allergies so this was right up our alley)!! I had the best acai bowl (go with the avalanche) ever!! Awesome selection of pastries and coffee and they do lots of wheat free, gluten free,, diary free, nut free... etc... super healthy and clean ingredients with amazing taste and flavors!! Must try!
Best acai bowl Ive ever had. Very ripe fruit and the nut butter seems made fresh. The avalanche version has more things that round it out for a better breakfast meal. Great espresso as well.
We stayed at Honolulu for five nights and had several orders here. The turkey bagel is amazing. My wife said the waffle is the best she had in her life.
Had the Cuban steak burrito for lunch. It was delicious.
- tried the acai avalanche bowl and haupia mocha- the mocha was way too sweet, i couldn’t finish it at all- the avalanche bowl was pretty good but overall kinda basic
I dont usually breakaway from my black drip coffee, but decided to try something new here-- worth it. My drink was great (forget the name but had a coconut twist to it), and so were the people working. Super nice. Recommend! Also prices were fair, Im here for a few months so not impossible to go regularly.
The ladies and gentlemen that work at this coffee joint are so delightful and I’ve never had to wait for my order once I call it in before I get there, although I don’t mind waiting when it’s super busy while they make my specialty Kona coffee and acai drinks/bowls. These guys are busy and they have fun decor to look at! They could probably open up another shop across the street like Starbucks does and be just as busy. These guys have the espresso that will impresso, and if you like Cali-Mex style burritos like everyone does, then this is the place for that kind of grindage. Grindage is Hawaiian slang for noshing. Noshing is SoCal slang for chow. Chow is Army slang for comer. Comer is formal Spanish for eating, which brings us back to the burrito. They are full of steak and you can taste the good vibes that went into making these burritos.Keeping it local is what it’s all about. Why spend your money at a global corporation when you can directly/positively affect locally owned businesses nearby? The menu is packed with awesome stuff like smoothies and juices and original baked goods (not pre-packaged from the mainland). Much aloha, and tip your barista.
Pizza is great. We had two pizzas while staying at Airbnb in the same building. We loved the supreme and also did one with more mushrooms.
Their scones were perfect, not too dry and not too moist. Friendly staff and well made coffee drinks.
Awesome staff, but dont be fooled by Google. This is not a dedicated donut shop. 😂 While you wont be getting a dozen donuts for a party here, their small donut pastries are to die for!Overall, quality food and drinks to match the quality vibes.
Great place with cool vibes. Only doing takeaway order now but they had a bigger food menu than expected. The turkey croissant sandwich is spectacular. Food and coffee was great!
Waffles and açaí bowl AMAZING!!! And ice coffee great!!! Amazing place for quick healthy breakfast
I’ve been frequenting this spot because of the quality coffee and food as well as the friendliness of the staff. My favorite is the Konamaena pour over which is well balanced and the smoothest of the three roasts offered. Each of the food options I’ve tried has been delicious and the staff will happily make modifications to your dish to meet your request. Never too busy and I’d say it’s a good place for either a friendly meet up or a little studying.
Its good! Got a 20oz vanilla late breve and was delighted with the smooth flavor. The decor is cohesive industrial hipster with touches of Hawaii tropical. The service was great! The woman who was working saw they keys I was holding and gave me discount that comes with staying at the apartments in the building. I didnt remember, but she did! I really appreciate attention to detail like that.
Staff are very friendly. The food is very tasty. They can get very busy so best to go early.
Great coffee and wonderful service at an affordable price. Try the undertow and their breakfast burrito.
Yes. Come here. Very tasty and inspired and stylish and fast. And takes Apple Pay like a champ.
My favorite coffee shop in Hawaii.. Acai bowls are great!!
Excellent coffee shop. They have amazing coffee and skilled baristas as well. Prices are fair and service is relatively quick. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is the confusion on the egg for food items. We went two different days. First day I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant which is listed as such on the menu. I first received a bacon and cheese croissant. I figured this was fine as wearing a mask can make it hard to hear so I tried to clarify that I just wanted egg added to it. The cashier said something about egg salad that I didn’t understand and I said I just wanted egg added to the sandwich. They took it back and then I got a bacon cheese and egg salad sandwich. I returned it once again and asked if I could get just scrambled egg on it. They were kind enough to do so. That process the first day took me about 45 minutes from walk in to walk out all said and done. The second day my gf ordered an egg and cheddar sandwich. Same thing happened it was an egg salad and cheddar sandwich. The takeaway here is that it is not super clear that the egg is egg salad at least from the menu so be aware of that if ordering anything egg it will be egg salad. All said and done great place and have had great coffee and staff were very nice and apologetic. I think the owner came in one day and was super nice. Would definitely recommend still given most other coffee shops in Waikiki have very long waits.
Coffee and food are both great. Cool little spot with hipster vibes. Looking forward to the space opening up more with indoor seating.
Far better thank Starbucks! Love the visual representations of the beverages, it actually tastes like coffee, like real coffee.
This is mine and my husbands favorite spot to stop and grab coffee while in Oahu. Amazing little spot to grab a quick coffee and bagel or muffin. We have tried multiple different coffees but our favorite is the Haupia Mocha. The staff is beyond friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The vegan magic muffin is very good as well as their bannana pecan bread. Definitely would recommend!!
DELICIOUS mocha/coconut coffee with mocha coconut whipped cream. This is my second trip to Honolulu ans we came back for a few mornings already. Bought them for a big family and they agreed that it is incredible. Actually out of this world. Best coffee on the island, in my opinion ☺️
Outstanding coffee that ranges from your favorite order, to something youve certainly never tried before. The staff is friendly and they have a great taste in music.
AH-mazing! I had the Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar Croissant and a Haupia Mocha w/soy milk, and my fiance had the Acai Bowl with agave... it was ALL delicious!! Just fabulous! The egg on my sandwich is in egg salad form and while unexpected, I loved it! With alfalfa sprouts and tomato...YUM! The cashier was sweet and patient as we are just visiting Oahu and had some questions. Service was pretty gosh darn fast for as busy as they were and as pretty as our meal and drink turned out! Currently no seating available, take-out only and we didnt require parking since we walked there! A little pricey for us but more importantly still, SO tasty!! Loved and highly recommend!
Beware, when you place a pickup order, they make it right away regardless of the time. We ordered for 830am and they called us at 715 letting us know it was ready. The croissant breakfast sandwhich is dry and doesn’t have any egg with it. The waffle was good though.
Fantastic coffee and great acai bowls!! After months of living on the island, I can safely say that Brew and Foam has the best tasting espresso in Waikiki :)
Awesome little spot for coffee my wife just happened to find via google maps. Coffee was excellent. Prices a bit higher than the standard Starbucks but not enough to mattee. Definitely recommend. Customer service was spot on.
Fantastic coffee and a much more manageable line than other places on wakiki
Had the gluten-free waffle, acai bowl, and coffee. All were delicious! The waffle was super filling. I was in total disbelief to find a gluten-free anything in Waikiki! Thanks y’all!
Undertow drink was awesome. Great food options and a short wait.
Gluten free waffle? OH YES PLEASE! It was delicious. Not the best waffle I’ve ever had but it’s good for gluten free. The haupia whipped cream on top was delicious! I also had a haupia mocha, which was great, but too sweet to finish. I’ll definitely be going back, super cute atmosphere and nice seating options.
Excellent place for some local brews
Tasty pastries and good coffee! Efficient and friendly!
Great customer service and great food and coffe!!
I literally just got my coffee from here and it was gone quickly! So delicious and the banana bread is heaven!! Can I order an entire loaf next time? 😂
Expect a long wait - there will probably be 5 doordash orders before yours. Came in on Saturday morning and even then had three walk-ins who came after me get their orders fulfilled before mine. Not sure if theyre doing first-come first serve because theyre so overwhelmed.Coffee and food was decent - not many other coffee shop options in this part of Waikiki.
Killer Acai Bowl and smoothies. I had the Rainbow smoothie. Good stuff
Ordered the Breakfast and the Cuban (steak) burritos for quick breakfast. Expected steak in the Cuban but instead was faced with a tortilla stuffed with dry rice and beans...not as advertised and not worth the money. The Breakfast burrito was no less than 70% rice and beans...wife was very displeased. We will not be returning. Better burrito options include: Konos, Alejandros and (our favorite) Sergs.
Came in the other morning and was pleasantly surprised by the super kind and friendly employees, but bummed by the very limited selection of breakfast pastries (only a cookie and scone). Disappointing as the photos showed a plethora of baked goods and desserts. Also, the seating area is closed even though most cafes have seating these days. Hard to justify parking, walking, and spending $7 on a chai latte only being able to take it to-go. I’ll come back in the next few weeks/months and hopefully they will improve the selection and open up the seating.
As an Australian, finding great coffee in the USA is really tough - but this was as good as anything back home. They make espresso right - freshly ground beans in a great, clean machine, and they have some really interesting options on their menu. Will definitely be coming back here before I head to the airport.
The best customer service!! The best coffee in town!!! Love it... its a must!!
Great local single origin coffee options! Good smoothies, baked goods and sandwiches as well.
Great Açaí bowls and breakfast choices! Would definitely recommend
Loved my latte!
So good!! The açaí avalanche is my favorite açaí bowl in town. So delicious and huge for the price! Also love the haupia mocha!
Latte. 16oz quad shot. Smooth.
The açaí avalanche and the undertow latte were absolutely delicious. The avalanche came with a plethora of fruits and granola and was the perfect size for breakfast. The undertow was a coconut latte that was perfectly and naturally sweetened and was one of the best espresso drinks I’ve ever tasted.
This place is delicious and the baristas are amazing! Especially love that they have complimentary reusable metal straws. I loved the gelato blended - perfect amount of dark chocolate and coffee in a light milkshake/smoothie mixed consistency. The mental mango smoothie is also delicious and refreshing.
Super cute, very kind people
Terrible, ordered 4 things. Got the smoothie in 10 minutes, it melted waiting for the hot stuff to come. They werent that busy
Oh mommi - that breakfast burrito SLAPS 🌯
Great coffee, pastries and staff.
Very friendly service, with some of the best drinks on the island!
Sticky Jaws is the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Always friendly service as well!
Coffee is amazing and Acai bowls are the best I have ever tasted.
Missing one coffee with delivery.
Pitaya smoothie and Haupia Mocha are great!
Not going to lie...açaí bowls are my favorite. The açaí avalanche bowl is my favoritist favorite. Every time I finish eating it, I feel so disappointed that it’s gone. I treat myself once a week if I workout six days. It’s the treat I choose to eat...every...single...week. Comes with tons of fruit, granola, cacao nibs, a big glob of almond butter, etc. I’ve had many açaí bowls and I keep coming back to this one. Absolutely delicious and a must have if you’re in the area.Other than that, people are super nice that work there. They’re super fast at making food and drink. The coffees are good. I don’t normally put sugar in my coffee, but the cold haupia latte with coconut milk is delicious. The wraps, croissants, and baked goods are also delicious. I’ve tried most of them, and have liked everything I’ve eaten.Go to Brew and Foam. You’ll have a hard time choosing what to eat. Well-priced, especially for the location.
Extensive list of solid choices. Their bowls are the best of all the highly rated places Ive tried in about a half mile radius from them.
DO NOT ORDER THE FOOD.... IT TAKES 20 MINUTES!!! not how long coffee shop food should take when you have to stand and wait.
My husband wasnt fimiliar with the place but worker didnt do much to help him. Hot chocolate is junk.
Ordered 2 acai avalanche bowls. Both were made incorrectly. Taste was good. Prices are very reasonable.
I ordered an acai bowl, tweny ounce coffee and a breakfast croissant for $32.60. Unfortunately there is no seating.
Dope coffee spot. Priced just right. Quiche was great.
The iced Americano was quite good, and the breakfast burrito was great! It has a really unique vibe, being in the back of a tattoo parlour. I would definitely go back. They are taking all the normal Covid precautions atm.
Very cute and cozy place! You might get confused thinking youre walking to a tattoo parlor, but its right in there! Its got a modernized, old fashioned look and you can look out from the window and see the mountain while you sip your coffee! The customer service was even great, the young ladies there had great smiles! Very nice spot!
Such a great family business... It has been so great to see the launch of their cafe. Having run our own for over five years now, we know how much goes into it! The last time I was there, the renovations were still going on, so we cant wait to enjoy the good food and company upon our return. Congrats on your beautiful creation! Were definitely inspired, and are currently doing renovations of our own. Much love and aloha from Nova Scotia... well see you on our next winter escape, and look forward to sharing some waves as well!
Amazing Acai Bowls! Really cool order for pick up system. Was able to just pull up curbside and have the food brought out. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Their food is awesome, but they are very slow.
Had my first açaí bowl and it was great! Fresh fruit and a good mix of toppings. The coffee is a step above a hotel drip. Nice staff and a clean bathroom too!
