Having never owned a Mercedes-Benz before, I was a bit intimidated at the thought of walking into a Mercedes-Benz dealership to look at and test drive cars. Angie was my sales advisor, and she made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the experience. I test drove one day, and the next day, we worked the deal over text message, e-Mail, and phone calls. All I had to do was go back in to sign and take delivery of my car. It was the easiest purchasing experience I’ve had. I would highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu, and specifically Angie.

Ive purchased at least a dozen vehicles since I first learned to drive. This is my first Mercedes, and I couldnt be happier with it. The sales staff was knowledgeable and professional, and despite the vehicle shortages everywhere, they were able to find me the perfect vehicle.My purchase was straightforward and stress free. Of course Ive told my friends and family about my great new car, but Ive also been able to brag about my experience with Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu. I shouldnt need a new car for a while, but Ill be a returning customer.

5 years ago, I received an excellent sales presentation from Dale Payson at Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu but wasnt quite ready for a Mercedes. I returned a couple weeks ago and once again received an excellent, no pressure, sales presentation from the most amazing salesperson, Dale Payson. Of course he remembered me from 5 years ago and was very enthusiastic to show me the brand new GLA 250.In the past, I had always done cash purchase of my vehicles. However, this time, Dale took the time to explain the lease option which was basically just paying 40% of the vehicle today with the option to pay the remaining 60% in 3 years. Interest rates were extremely favorable but after some number crunching I decided to pay all three years at one shot.More than a salesperson, Dale helped me before, during, and after the sales process. He helped get a great amount for my trade in, which unfortunately was not at Mercedes. He then took the time to explain the purchase options which vary from lease or purchase, explain the different options that were available, there were five GLA 250s available for purchase at the time. Even after purchase there was a small scratch on the steering wheel and he was eager to help me personally, not delegating me to the service department. It has been the most outstanding sales experience from the moment I walked in the door, to signing the papers, after purchase follow-up phone call, and service weeks after the sale is done.No matter what kind of new car youre buying, be sure to include Mercedes and Dale Payson when shopping because its quite possible that it can be truly affordable. Ive never been so happy with a car in my life. Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu and Dale Payson are strongly recommended!

The customer experience needs an upgrade. Most luxury car dealerships give you a feel of luxury treatment. The waiting area is terrible compared to mainland. Im giving two stars for the complimentary car service offered.

Poor Services! Be careful if you try to fix at the dealer. I think they hide the truth and trying to overcharge.My car is a GLC300 only 35K, and Auxiliary Battery malfunction signal came up.Should be okay till at least by 75K but. I checked the Online repair ave. It was $250. Guess what? This dealer bills me $715 plus tax.( they love to say it)I love my Mercedes, but this dealers service policy and price is ridiculous. Feel like stealing my pocket. Erased in my list.

Very expensive, poor communication and transparency.I brought my Mercedes Sprinter in to get a diagnosis and health check-up. The dealership wanted to charge me $881 for an alignment (its $100 at all other locations) and they requested that I replace a coolant pump switch over valve for $400, the part is $35 online. Thats 11x mark-up is indicative of my entire experience there. When I asked why, they told me, well it is Mercedes as if the brand is license to rip people off.Just a week later, they asked me to bring my van back in for a diesel emissions recall. Mercedes got in trouble for manipulating diesel outputs the same way Volkswagen did. Its not a benefit to me or my van but its better for the environment so I brought it back in. Mercedes then informed me they wouldnt fix the recall unless I purchased a new battery for $500. Fine, I agreed but would never have brought in the van hand I know that. When I went to pick up the van, they jump started it! Why would my van need to be jump started when it received a new battery and a health diagnostic just a week prior from them? The whole experience reeked of rip off. If you can help it, avoid Mercedes of Honolulu at all costs.

Had the worst experience/ customer service today at Mercedes Benz of Honolulu as I took our car for a tire change. Our tires had to be specially ordered. I show up there to a service appointment and turns out they never made the order nor did the parts sales rep remember he promised us 10% discount from the tires. They will not honor the rate promised and I had to leave with our old tires.Having such a beautiful car from a luxury brand, I would think they would value their customers highly. Feeling very disappointed with how we were treated. They could have handeled the situation in a very different way.

Our sales rep was Kanoe. Very Kind, very helpful. He made our lease process very painless. We left with a brand new C-300 at the exact price we wanted to pay. No bargaining tactics or sleezy garbage. Very pleasant and comfortable experience. He even called multiple times to make sure everything was going well as far as our happiness with the vehicle. We love it...we showed up at 9am and were driving our new Bens before lunch. It was great!!!!

Loved it here. Best experience. Angie Martinez was my sales rep. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She wasnt pushy or dishonest. She was straight forward and to the point, which is exactly what I wanted. We were there for less then an hour and a half, papers signed and drove off with our new car. Very professional group of people. Courteous and extremely helpful. I was very pleased with a recent recall for my GLK 350. In addition to completing the recall work they performed a courtesy inspection, topped off the tire pressure and washed the car and vacuumed the interior. Now thats service! I am impressed with the magic like precision of moving cars in and out of the maintenance / service bays. The valet and service providers deserve much credit for a job well done!! I will be happy to recommend this dealership to others. 👍

From the very beginning Kui was so personable, patient and quite genuine. He was not your typical salesman who would just push you to purchase just he could get a sale. He understood what we needed and worked with us throughout the process. Although the deal did not fall through on the first day, he continued to be responsive by phone until we could finally make the purchase the next day. Ooooomaigaaa, love me some merce...Thank you for replacing the airbags, that Takata made or assembled in México..There is a Takata in Acuña Coahuila México, which is an assembly line factory..I know I need new tires, but didnt think is would be cute spending $1000 for 2 tires, plus $600 for the sway bar link and a side marker light for $103.,, That I found on eBay for $1 dollah. I looked under the hood, and that side marker light, looks like a long pencil with a tinnywinny light bulb on its tip..You charge $30 for a car wash!!! Dayam, what you use ? Gold sprinkled soap..i hand my car at home, without using any type of soap, just plain H2O..then wipe the car down with soft, sented WHITE cotton towels..i use less than a gallon of water,or if it rains, i run outside and wipe my car down with the cute little WHITE towels..I understand you have to pay, keep and maintain the Name, Mercedes, pay mortgage, employees salaries, insurance and all overall Business upkeep..You have the Money, this is why you are in an area of prime realty. My spark plugs have the Mercedes name on them, they are NGK brand, probably made in china and carved Mercedes name on them here in the USA, who knows, who cares..I think each one is about $40 dalahs

It was kind enough to receive a call for service reminder but further instruction including drop-off information should be more clear.My appointment confirmation for the service came in email and it instruct to drop the vehicle off at the dealership(map to Kapiolani) but on arrival at the dealership, I was told I am at the wrong location for Metris minivan.I suggested service advisors(both locations at Kapiolani and Cooke) that someone should address the issue to avoid further confusion but I dont see anyone is interested in it.And I thought it would be nice if they provide a car wash at the end of service as they are aiming for the highest level of service.

Mercedes Benz of Honolulu sells department just got my ratings below zero. No class and respect for customers time at all. Quite a shame on that name.I called today for a pre-owned car they advertised online. They confirmed it was available and they set up the appointment with me for 4 hours later.When I showed up 15 min before the appointment I got informed by executive sale associate that the car got sold just probably 30 min ago.He just showed me the car, placed the sold sign on it and said maybe I can offer you something else.Surely I didn’t expect that “class” in this busines establishment.Word means nothing nowadays even in a brand name dealership like Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu.Let’s hope one day they will improve their values.

My wife and I had been shopping for a new car for about 3 months and finally decided to purchase a Mercedes-Benz. We are so happy with our new vehicle. Our experience at Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu and The Fletcher Jones Family was fantastic. The moment we arrived, the valet crew greeted us and made us feel welcome. Our next impression was our sales professional, Yuji Tazaki who was amazing from the start and continues to be amazing even after the sale. He was very professional and so patient with our two small children during our time there. In fact, the whole showroom floor was patient with our kids running around all over the place. Everyone was so helpful. I even had an quick exchange with one of the mechanics outside the showroom who was very nice and pointed me to an alternate restroom when the closest one was occupied. Two other sales professionals helped me answer some questions for the insurance company while Yuji was taking care of our paperwork. Dean in the finance office was very efficient and also very helpful. His depth of knowledge was evident and I look forward to doing business with him again. Like I said, we had interactions with the whole crew from valet to mechanics to sales and finance. All of whom were utmost professionals. We highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu and look forward to seeing everyone during our first service appointment. Thank you for a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Greg Rudin who deals with the Sprinter inventory was super easy to communicate with. I purchased a used Sprinter and when I originally talked to Greg he mentioned he would deal with a few issues (rear view cam was not working, covering seat tracks for second row seat I didnt want) which didnt happen before the purchase; albeit this was before we had agreed upon the price which was significantly lower than the listed price. However, after signing the papers Greg graciously offered for me to bring the vehicle by at my convenience to have the minor issues dealt with. I did a few days later and he handled everything with no charge and got the van back to me the next day. It was a great experience purchasing this van from Greg and I encourage everyone who is looking into purchasing a Sprinter to search him out for your next purchase. Thanks, Greg.Eric

******UPDATE*****I have been told by multiple people that Dennis the GM would call me regarding this issue and I have yet to hear from him. I have left many messages and reached out to the department there which I was then told that Dennis would be calling me. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I’m glad to know that my friends currently looking to buy a car won’t be going here. Also the reply from Mercedes below this comment has wrong information in it.Worst experience buying a car! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!My husband had a Mercedes that had a light come on so we made an appointment here to have it serviced. We show up and end up really liking a different car that we were parked near so we said what the heck let’s just look at numbers. We worked out a deal that we thought was fair and drove away that day in our new car. Three days later the check engine light came on so I called and asked if there was anything they could do for us. They seemed very helpful and asked that I bring it in to be fixed. When I showed up I saw the manager and jokingly asked if he had sold me a lemon and all he did was shrug his shoulders so that tells me he knew about it when he sold it to us. They had it for a few days and when I got it back the light came on again three days later so obviously they just cleared the code (again). So the light was on again, I called again and they said bring it in again and we will fix it. Same thing happened AGAIN! The light comes back on a few days after clearing the code so I wasn’t surprised. This last time is came back on I called and asked if they could just buy it back from us because my husband is military and we are moving off the island. We were offered almost $10,000 less than what we bought it for just 3 months ago and they had it in the shop more than we even had it at home. We ended up going back into the dealership to talk about our options and we were told that we could get more money for it if we traded it in so we looked around and found one we liked. They wanted us to pay another $30,000 for a different car. That is absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it’s a business and they are trying to make money but they knew about the issue and signed a contract stating that they didn’t. I am also writing reviews for the military community to know about this scam and not to do business here. My friendly neighbor is a PA on base and will have an article written regarding this. I will report to BBB as well so I can hopefully steer someone away from getting scammed like us. We are now paying $2,600 to ship a car that we JUST BOUGHT with the check engine light on.Take my advice and stay away from this place!!

I bought my GLA250 9 months ago and already need a new set of front tires because they sold me a vehicle that was seriously misaligned AND I got a letter in the mail about the HVAC system recall explaining why theres a moldy/gross smell coming from my AC vents sometimes.I’m happy with my vehicle and financing was very friendly. My sales man was very rude. I wanted this particular vehicle so, I just tried to finish as quickly as possible to be done on my portion with him. I didn’t understand why I was being treated that way when I was really nice to everyone.I love this car so much, and I just want everything to be fixed.I cant help but be really upset at everything so far.

I went in dressed pretty shabby because I had just worked on my car in the morning. Sales staff ignored me. When I was finally assisted the staff didnt know anything about the type of transmission I wanted, yet claimed to have great knowledge about MB. Do not claim knowledge if you dont know a hill of beans about your product. I went next door and checked out the Audis and will return to buy two Audis in January.

Amazing how the Service Manager was able to understand a situation I have experienced. I almost gave up on trying to speak with a service representative while not getting the right answers. So, I decided to reach out the manager Lance, which I knew he will understand my concern. I was immediately directed to bring my car to the dealer where Lance greeted me personally, after I explained to him the situation, he immediately without questioning, tasked a service advisor to take care of my car. Everything was taken care of and I wasnt charge for anything. Thanks God first for having a dealer that have people with knowledge, understanding and good heart. I was in to MB-Honolulu about a week ago to get my oil changed and everything tuned up on my car. Warren made sure that I was taken care. He called me before they did anything to my car which I appreciated. And we were able to use the shuttle service while my car was getting worked on. While having my Mercedes Benz serviced at the Honolulu dealership I stopped by the Sales Department and was assisted by one of their salespeople. I was very well impressed by him. He provided more than I was expecting. He motivated me into buying a couple of their cars and demonstrated them well. I just stopped by out of curiosity and became very interested in one of their cars. I was well impressed in his patience and the information he provided me, his sincerity, etc. I used to be an Automobile Salesperson and was well impressed by his no-pressure and dialog type of approach. I want to thank him and recommend him for all of that.

I have been servicing my vehicle in Germany and Orlando for the past six years. The service I received at M-B of Honolulu certainly is a close comparison to the factory service I received in Germany. Manny Cabral appears very young but communicated knowledge beyond his young looking years. I was impressed with the service. Keep up the good work.

I made an appointment for my car to have an issue with my air conditioner fixed. Since we assumed it would be a bigger issue I requested a loaner car. I was in and out relatively fast and received a brand new Mercedes that was great to have for the 8 days it took to order a special part and have it installed. When I dropped off the loaner car I was welcomed kindly, had a nice conversation with Jeff and wrapped things up quickly, heading back on my way with my car well serviced and even washed and really happy with the service of Mercedes Benz of Honolulu - now this is the Mercedes service I know from living in Germany.

I didnt purchase a car through them so I cant rate it on that, but I went there a couple of times while I was car shopping and test drove a couple different models.Pros:+ Complimentary valet parking at the dealership makes the process easier.+ The salespeople were very attentive and helpful.Cons:- They pushed leasing a little more than I prefer but that is a very minor gripe just to be fair.Overall: If you are in the market for a luxury vehicle then its worth your time to at least look at this dealership. MUCH MUCH better than Audi Hawaii.

Went in to purchase my very first Mercedes our Sales Man, Mr. Farmer was fantastic as well as very knowledgeable with his Mercedes. We did have a slight hiccup with our new car but seeing as it was my first Mercedes I was overly impatient with getting my new car back. This dealer has really impressed us with the way our Sales Man has gone out of his way to make sure the purchase of our car has been enjoyable as well as making personal calls to see if we needed anything or to answer any questions that we may have. Great customer service and great salesman.

Abhorent. Went to ask about trade in and other stuff. Tall white guy exuding irritation and reluctance from the beginning not to say not introducing himself. I felt so uncomfortable immediately. Also, sitting down on his desk, I felt like puking from the vibe he was keep giving me. Suffocating while waiting for quite a long time to just find out price. So I told him to get back to me after he does his research. Two weeks, no word. Probably never intended to get back from the beginning. Sales Manager John was even worse. Blurted at me So what do you want me to do!? Entire crew KKK clan or what? Gruesome, Disgusting, and abominable people. Making Holiday Season feel like xxx . Just looked up who the first guy is on their web. His name is Chris Farmer. Dont know what other people are like, but cant expect anything better when the Manager is already like that. If you really really want to buy from them, I would at least stay away from them.

My sales man, Marc McMurray, was THE BEST!! He was working with me and my friend at the same time, providing us with information for two different purchases. He can multi-task!!! He devoted his time to us and wasnt pushy. Marc was very thoughtful, down to earth, easy to engage with and provided us with a TON of information which helped me make my decision to get my C300. Marc stayed almost 3 hours later than his scheduled work schedule to complete the entire transaction, including delivery of the vehicle. Appreciated the contact to bring in our GLC for its first year maintenance service. The process went smoothly. Although the original service consultant was not available, my husband was quickly referred to Jeff. Jeff took care of everything and had a shuttle driver take my husband home. We were able to retrieve our car about 4 hours later. Again, a shuttle driver came to pick him up from our home.

Definitely left a lasting first impression of being very easy to work with and can get the job done no matter what.Maintained communication with me throughout the day with updates on the status of the car. I am doing personal research on 2 vehicles that I am interested in purchasing now that I have made it to the next level in my life. Either I’m going to buy a Mercedes or a Porsche SUV coupe. I made a reservation to test drive the GLC AMG 63 over the phone and when I got there, I was met by a senior sales and leasing employee and told I needed to give a deposit in order to test drive one because no one buying a 63 would want miles on it (How does anyone purchase a luxury car for $100k without test driving it). I didn’t feel like the salesman cared about who I was or why I was interested in that car, it felt like he was profiling me because I’m a young 33 year old and not your average “old wealthy guy”. I didn’t end up test driving any vehicle at Mercedes and was out of there in 20 minutes. I’ll be going over to test drive the Porsche tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how I am treated there.

I had a flat tire probably because our roads are so bad...no fault of the tire. It definitely changed my day, but I chose to sit at a table in the waiting room and just wait for it to be replaced. Everyone, from beginning to end, was gracious, helpful and got it done as soon as possible. My only suggestion is an espresso machine where we can have a good café while we wait.

I love your waiting room with coffee, water, and snack to make waiting easier to bear. Your staff are all very friendly and helpful.I think your service manager, Warren, is so over worked.
