I have to shine a light on such a spectacular employee of Kia Leeward, JOHNATHAN! I purchased the Telluride and got all the coverage and warranty available. That still didnt stop my tire from popping 1 mile away from the dealership on a Sunday! With the department closed and the Sales employees getting ready for Halloween, I pulled in with my baby and a crisis with no solution. Johnathan didnt hesitate calm me, prioritize our safety and stepped right in with such kindness and care so unfamiliar during these stressful times. He unloaded the stroller, lifted the car, changed the tire, all while making sure we were comfortable while waiting. Service truly went above and beyond the sale today and it was all thanks to Johnathan. Ask for him when you go for a visit!

My husband and I are Regular Customers on our 4th car with Aloha Kia Nimitz. We went from leasing a 2013 Kia Soul, upgraded to a 2015 Kia Optima, then a 2019 Kia Forte Lxs Right away I fell in love with it. Perfect car for our little family.. Car was giving us problems after 2 years, Praise God & Martin for helping us purchase a 2021 Kia Forte Lxs. Need A Car Asap Ask For MARTIN Hes The BEST SALES DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVE They Have! Booking a appointment is really fast & if you have a email address even better they email you updates, Service reminders and more. You have kids, no problem they have a Safe waiting area with a t.v., vending machine and free wifi for you to use.. If your worried about the set up, its very clean, theyre always sanitizing and wiping down the surfaces like counters, chairs, doors and windows. If you dont feel comfortable waiting inside there are chairs under a pop up tent outside for anyone to use. The Service Department is super fast, especially if you have kids they try their BEST to have you out on time or earlier. What I ❤about ROZY is she is very nice, friendly and I feel like shes 1 of my cousins or a family member she makes me feel welcome all the time I go there. If I wait there she always updates me on whats going on, lets me know what they offer and dont have at the moment, The service department also washes youre vehicle looks like new when leaving. If Im waiting at home because the service is way to long, ROZY always updates me still. I ❤ the communication, you can tell she ❤s what she does. I Understand though that not every sales person is of the same caliber some are newer/inexperienced and some just arent the best. Anyway If you love Kia or want someone to take you seriously and LISTEN to you... go in or call and ask to speak with JEFFREY (JB). I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED :) He got me my Telluride and was such an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with and he has continued to follow up, also Brad (one of the Managers) really has also gone above and beyond with communicating which I really appreciate.
Found a car very interested in but distasteful hard sell to go home with it tonight. Staff was friendly but time to update your sales technique. If you claim to bring in an Assistant Manager, you actually should bring in someone that is an Assistant Manager.I for one dont want to close a deal for multiple thousands of dollars that starts with someone lying to me.

Came in at 0630 and waited for the service department to open at 0700. Needed them to see if they could get our Sorento in to find and possibly repair the oil leak. They were busy until first of July. Could not even look to tell me what is leaking.Went to Aloha Kia Leeward. They took the time to put our Sorento on the rack and told me what was leaking and they could get the part in a few days from LA. This way we could go in for service and get it completed done. Not going in to find the leak. Wait for the part and than come in for service a month later. Now at Aloha Kia Leeward, we only have to wait a week or so.

I lease a 2021 KIA Seltos and absolutely love it! While finalizing the lease, the sales dept took my key to appraise my old cars trade in value and accidentally lost it. After multiple attempts to recover my key, I posted a negative review here about my frustration of not getting a replacement. I was contacted the next day by the Chief Operating Officer who worked quickly to remedy the issue and replace my key. Today they replaced it! Mahalo Aloha KIA for making things right! I am once again, a very happy customer!

Bait and switch with salesman DAKOTA twice. Picked an internet car deal to purchase, told that it might take a while for them to get the car and received a text the next day that it was at the dealership to look at. I called to schedule to come in and got to the dealership within an hour. When I got there, they said they had just sold the car and I asked why they didnt call me to let me know? Then the sales manager proceeded to point me to other cars on the lot. I said I wasnt interested and walked to my car.Then Dakota came running out as I was driving away and said they found another sweet deal and to schedule an appointment to check it out. I said I would wait at the dealership until they brought the car in since I was already there. They said that it would take a few hours, so told me to come in tomorrow and scheduled a subsequent appointment.After reading reviews here, I decided to trust my judgement and text before driving there to make sure the car was there. Apparently not, but no courtesy call to cancel the appointment. Youre going to have me drive to the dealership twice with cash in hand for no car to sell?I texted Im sorry I would no longer deal with someone who was wasting my time. Then got a snarky youre wasting my time too reply. Just because a sales person is nice to you in the store means nothing about their true character.Took a screenshot for your enjoyment.

I’ve been to a few Kia Service departments but this one is absolutely amazing. It’s small but they are extremely professional and nice. They continuously ask if you need anything and walk you through the prices to help out your wallet. Rozy helped me and she was sweet, knowledgeable and genuinely cared.

GREATLY in need of transportation after years of suffering public transportation. Transferred money from account for down payment and everything. Scheduled appointment for test drive, but was constantly dismissed. Made excessive inquiries on credit report and reneged on offer I was ready to take on vehicle.They rudely made me sit outside on a bench in the sun for almost 2 1/2 hours. One of the worst dealership experiences Ive ever had! I didnt feel valued or wanted and everytime I stepped in the building over two days they ushered me out rudely like youd have someone take their dog outside! 🤬
This has been by far the worst kia dealership experience I have ever had. I came in at 9 and there was no one else in the store and now its going on 4. The customer service was extremely shotty and inconsistent to say the least. I came in for an issue with one tire and they gave me the run around for hours and provided no explanation and no solution. I would not recommend coming here for your car needs.
Kia has great product, however with the exception of the sales department Aloha Kia Airport fails on just about every other level. I might buy another KIA, but it wont be from Aloha Kia Airport. They fail and dont try to get better; they tell you they are going to speak to someone and never get back to you; they dont notify you when they should. TERRIBLE customer service and they dont care. The General Manager should be ashamed of himself and staff. Even though it might not make a difference I am going to write a letter to KIA Headquarter to tell them how terrible your location is. Very, very disappointed!!!

On May 23rd 2020 I had to drop my brand new Kia Sorento at the service department because all of the sudden it started to give me issues while driving, it started to stall, wasnt going pass 35 mph, and the check engine light came on. It is July 7th 2020, my vehicle is still in the shop and not even the engineers at big Kia can figure out what is wrong with the vehicle. Worst experience ever with the vehicle and the customer service. I need to be constantly calling for updates and the only updates I get is that they are still waiting for the engineers to tell them what to do. More than a month has already pass, vehicle still not repaired, and who knows how much longer of waiting and having to pay for a vehicle that Im not even using.
Rating is purely based on customer service. Specifically on the the service departments ability to answer a phone. I’ve called them 10 time and they have never picked up. I left 3 different messages on separate occasions and they never called me back.Talking to a representative is a very important part of customer service especially if I have questions about my service.
Will NEVER BUY a KIA again.They did not honor the 5 year Cilajet warranty because they no longer work with Cilajet, so I now have rust spots I paid $1,000 to avoid.Before you buy the car it comes with “complimentary car wash”. After you’ve bought the car the car wash is $11.The only good thing about this place is the 🍿 popcorn.Switching to TESLA
The service is what I love the most about Kia. They are not hard to reach. When you have an issue with your car, you can call your service advisor directly. When you get to their location, you are welcomed with a smile by a receptionist infront who reparks your car. Then once you get in, you are addressed right away. Their waiting room is huge, clean, and equip with a cable TV, Wifi, charging ports, comfortable chairs, and refreshments. So waiting is within your comfort. If you decide not to wait, you can keep in touch with your advisor via text message. The advisor will explain what your car needs but works around your decisions. When you pick up your car, it will be looking fresh and brand new. I really have that feeling that my car (although old) will be respected. I recommend Kia Airport for your car needs.

Our service guy took care of us and didnt try to pressure us into doing more than what was needed at the time. He was great. The waiting area in the service area is awesome. Theres cookies, water and popcorn to consume while you wait for the car. There is even a place to plug your phone in so bring your cord and plug in while you wait!
Im SO glad I bought a Kia Soul from Aloha Kia!!!I bought my Kia Soul in 2014. I really like it. Its just the right size and I bought it because the 2 seniors I was caring for at that time could get in and out comfortably.The service at Aloha Kia has always been great, but this past Tuesday they really did themselves proud!I had a flat tire 10pm in Dole Cannery Theaters parking lot. So I called the Emergency Roadside Service number on the window.Help arrived very quickly, but we found I needed a tow. So I arranged with Kia Roadside Assistance for a tow in the morning and went home. The tow driver picked up my keys at my house, picked up my car, brought it to Aloha Kia in the morning!Aloha Kia checked in my car, and while I went to an appointment, fixed my flat tire, serviced my car and had it washed and ready (clean inside and out!) when I got back.And almost all of that was covered!!! The service call, the towing... I prepaid my servicing and thats working out really well.Im one happy camper!!!Im SO glad I bought a Kia and SO glad I bought it from Aloha Kia!!!
If I could do less than 1 star I would. I had my Kia towed into Kia Airport on Friday. They do not have mechanical services on the weekends????? Why??? I was told that they would call me on Monday with the diagnosis. Afternoon I started calling and leaving messages. No response. I tried again ON Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Nothing!!! i TRIED THE EMAIL OR TEXT LINE AND GOT THE SAME. NOTHING.

Through Martins honest approach and guidance, I was able to drive away with a new Kia Soul instead that was slightly above my budget, but well worth it. We got our car here and love the Kia Sorento. But the inside is stinking hot and uncomfortable. I called and said we want a car today and it still took 4 hours sweating in their back room to sign the papers and drive off.I changed my review from 3 stars to 1 star. One month after getting our new lease we got a bill from the Finance department saying we owed $1200 on the old car. When we spoke to Aloha Kia, it was our understanding our old lease had been fully paid. According to their finance department on the mainland we still owed money. Contacting both the Finance department and Aloha Kia they both would point fingers at the other saying its on them.In the end, the one getting screwed out of hundreds of dollars is their customer.I can tell you...when this lease is up. Probably not going back here.
I bought our 4th Kia last week. What can I say? Our family loves Kia! The 1st two we bought at the same time 12 years ago. Bought the 3rd a little over a year ago. I wasnt planning to buy a car that day, but Martin was so nice and got me a good monthly payment, my husband now has a new car too!
Barbara Fitzpatrick I am very happy with my KIA Rio. I brought it in to Aloha Kia Maui today for an ECM Upgrade. I was quoted $70 plus $3.15 tax. When they gave me my bill there was an additional charge of $5.60 in shop supplies. When I asked what shop supplies had been used, I was told the paper and ink for printing my bill. Seriously?
There is no communication from the service front desk to the rest of the service team. 2 out 3 times I visited for a safety inspection I was asked why I was even there (this was after an hour or more wait). Simple things, like a safety inspection, took them 3 hours because they thought I didnt have my paperwork because the lady at the front desk didnt explain my situation to them. Definitely not going back. On an up note, Rozy was great when she was my service advisor.
Just leased a Kia Credenza from Aloha Kia Airport...Sales Consultant, Martin and Finance Mgr., Dana were personable, caring and very good in product knowledge. The physical location of the dealership is easy to access, and the Credenza is an awesome auto!

After shopping at two other car dealerships for a new compact car, I found that I received more personalized service- and the most helpful and accommodating sales representative (Martin) at Aloha Kia near the airport. Martin seemed to go beyond his duty as a salesman by getting up some of the cars electronic features (map, rear-facing camera, smartphone syncing with the stereo system- even syncing my garage remote control with the Fortes remote capability. The price, the cars features, payment options and Martins helpfulness (he even delivered the floor mats to my door when the dealership received them). I trust the car will be as much fun to drives as was the easy non-pressure sales experience at Aloha Kia. Thanks, Martin!

Took two days and long hours of sitting in a interrogation room. The one star is for the salesperson who went out of the way to help. As for the rest of the staff including management what do I think not much. Had a problem three months after I leased it and went to service to see what I could do. I was told it was my problem sorry. A new customer doesn’t want to hear that. I want to hear maybe we can split it with you. A couple hundred bucks not much for a dealer. Guess they are all profit forget the customer. They are your best friend while you are buying but once you sign on the dotted line it’s screw you. The Manager wrote me about how much they care and thanks for contacting service. I wrote him back and never got response back. Can’t speak for the other locations but do yourself a favor avoid the airport. They got $$ on the brain no concern for the customer. The vehicle requires little maintenance so I won’t have to go back much would feel very uncomfortable to go. Good job KIA and to think I went there for the good service. Sorry it was a sales person that emailed me. I will found out who to contact.
Its not about the money but the service. If you dont believe a potential customer when they come in with their own financing, its not appropriate to ask them to fill out paperwork to get financing through YOU as a backup just in case.Its condescending and unprofessional to continually carry on in a conversation that the outside financing we had wasnt enough for YOU, not the dealership. Your behavior made it clear, you did not believe it was enough or even possible for us to even have that much financed without you.I seriously hope that as the finance manager at this location, you find a way to conduct business that doesnt make potential customers feel like less than a valued customer or like a decent humanbeing for that matter.If your behavior is acceptable to you and those you work for, then that is a shame and discredit to you as well as them! And as such you will continue to act inappropriately, not caring that YOUR actions caused another Salesman to lose out on a customer buying a BRAND NEW vehicle AND who was approved for twice the amount as your asking price.
The Waipahu service department is terrific. The manager and staff are first rate BUT the sales department are 3rd rate at both the Nimitz and Waipahu stores. GREEDY.
Tried to lease us a damaged, dirty, new car. The salespeople did not even apologize for their mistake. They have poor customer service, no sales expertise, and deceived us. I would not recommend this dealership at all.

Just bought a KIA EV and its as good as a TESLA - REALLY ( I TEST DROVE THE TESLA AS WELL) I dont need the STATUS and all that expensive electronics for island driving and well, you cant go wrong for the price and the quality of the product....(the KIA is half the price and I can park it anywhere on this island and not be scared of someone denting or bumping it, etc.) The KIA EV beats the other brands by far and we test drove them ALL! Its really a quality product and so comfortable and quiet. Plus you can pass all the gas stations and laff at the soaring prices! Only costs couple of bucks to charge it up in my standard garage outlet!!! My friends love being a passenger as well as the design fits all five of us comfortably. No gull wing doors and fancy handles, but is it really worth the price to pay for a TESLA - like $700 a month in payments! I can go to RAINBOWS and Wolfgang, Ruth Chris steakhouse all year long with the money I save!The buying experience with JEFF was outstanding and non pressured like the other places where you are scared to even start to drive into the dealership. And then the service was outstanding with ROSIE and SHELSY who are full of genuine ALOHA. The world is stressed and people are so demanding and impatient nowadays - and the business who has people who exhibit kindness like these people mentioned above who have sincere kindness and patience are the ones who will get customers to come back and help build the business! My family will be buying all our cars from KIA as their financing and attitude is best by far compared to our other experiences test driving cars around the island!
Decent dealership, however, our trade in vehicle still has not been paid off 30 days later. With that being said make sure you have have your financing taking care of before you go to themOr be sure that the financing has been approved before you leave the lot. Lessons learned. Other than that the dealership helped us get out of a vehicle with a lot of negative equity, so for that we are appreciative.

The service department is so disorganized it makes me not want to buy another Kia. We have had so many problems, mainly with trying to contact someone. No one answers their phone. I called for two days straight, every hour, and not a single person answered their phone. They dont have a receptionist either, otherwise, why is she not answering the phones????? I have left messages, and no response. In addition, car servicing is questionable and i have had to follow up after every visit. When they dont answer the phones i have had to drive 40 minutes to walk in to speak with someone. Kia needs to figure this out because I am done with this company.
I bought 2017 Kia Sorento couple month ago and today was my first visit at kia service for oil change. It took one hour to change oil and that was totally fine but the problem was after..When I drove the car down on freeway to go home, I saw smoke was coming out from the hood(Seriously I thought the car was going to explore). So I immediately pull over to the side and opened the hood to check to see whats happening. Guess what,, whoever the mechanic changed the oil never put the cap back on so the engine oil was spurting out all over the engine room.. such a stupid mistake.. I cant believe that they made a mistake on basic common procedure.. I never had or heard about mechanic made this kind of mistake in my life!! So amateur mistake!! I dont think I can trust Kia anymoreIt was brand new car and now Im worry that its going to affect to all the parts inside and engine as well... horrible horrible experience

Bought the car less than one month ago. When we received the car it was covered in water spots and were told it was because the car was parked outside at the Waipahu location. We took it into the airport location for water spot removal but when I picked up the car it was raining so I couldnt verify how well they removed the spots. After we dried the car at home, we noticed there were still spots on the car, although most were removed. Giving a one start rating because we were told we would have to take the car back to Kia for a full day to have them work on these spots. They should have taken care of these spots before giving us the car and taking our trade in. When buying a new car, it is reasonable to expect it to look new. Disappointed.
They should work through Costco. Old school. You need to negotiate.
My wife and I went to the dealership and was just looking for a vehicle, nothing specific. A salesman (Korean) asked if we needed help. We told him we were just looking and not planning to buy a car yet. He invited us inside the showroom and started showing us vehicles. The ones we were interested in was already sold though no sold sign was on the vehicle. My wife and I went to look at other vehicles separately and the salesman got irate when we started asking questions. He vehemently told us that we were wasting his time and left the showroom floor. My wife and I left with disgust. We looked at the gazebo where the salespeople gathered and the guy was talking to other salesmen then they all looked at us smirking. The showroom was in disarray with papers everywhere and unkempt, so ghetto. We went to Tony Hyundai instead to buy a vehicle, it was night and day. When we mentioned to the Hyundai dealership what transpired at Kia they were much interested because Kia and Hyundai owners are apparently brothers! Afterwards KIA sent me a survey online to rate the Kia dealership we were in and I gave them all the facts. Hyundai also sent me an online survey and couldnt praise them enough with their dealership.
Terrible!!! Don’t do the same mistake!They lied the whole time! When I saw the car online, I called and said that it was a little over my budget if would be possible to negotiate, or I wouldn’t lose my time, they promise me that they were willing to negotiate, but ended up that they didn’t really not negotiate even $100 dollars. I didn’t have much time so ended up buying the car.Now, 7 months after, my car is having issues, what I believe it’s transmission, it’s under the warranty, and when I brought it to the services, they just lie about everything, trying to convince me that there’s no problem, the customers service was terrible, the manager call me and my husband a bunch of names and scream with us! I never was so disappointed and disrespected.Really, please, don’t use Aloha kia, they have terrible customer service, they are really shady and liers. I’m sure that you can find better deals.

Some of the worst customer service ever dealt with at an auto dealership. Especially Christiana - who never responds to emails, calls, or anything. Just sits there with her digits who knows where. Avoid... this is what youll get when your car has a problem. Non existent responses.
If I could I wouldnt put any stars. Ive been trying to call and can never reach anyone. Ive left multiple voicemails and dont get any calls back. I will not ever purchase another Kia.

I was on the fence when trying to decide on a Hyundai Tucson and a Toyota Rav4 (Hybrid). After doing some car shopping and putting some numbers down on paper, I was leaning towards the Hyundai Tucson. After doing the whole back and forth thing with the local Hyundai dealership, it was a few hundred dollars that broke the deal. On a whim, I decided to check out the Aloha Kia Dealership and was promptly greeted by Martin Kozlik. Let me start off by saying, I despise car salesmen some of them come across so pushy so when Im greeted by one I already have my guard up. They have 3-5 seconds of my time to make a positive first impression and Martin Kozlik did just that! No pressure, personable and there was just something about him that made me feel comfortable with him and made me want to hear him out. I asked about the Kia Sportage and came across the all new Kia Niro... I was semi-intrigued by it and after hearing Martin talk about the car and performing a test drive, I WAS DEFINITELY INTERESTED. At this very moment, I was contacted by the Hyundai dealership I was at previously at and they lowered the price and gave me an offer I couldnt refuse. After explaining the situation to Martin, he asked that I hear him out before I left. In short, I was SOLD on the Kia Niro - he was able to sell me a vehicle I was happy and comfortable with. Sure, I spent $8K+ more than I wanted to or than I would have on the Hyundai, but this was a Hybrid vehicle that had so much more to offer. I was also leaning towards the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid but I asked myself, why pay the same amount for a car that doesnt offer me a fraction of what the Kia Niro offers me?. 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty?!? - Sure, Im sold - WHERE DO I SIGN?I am so glad I walked into the Aloha Kia dealership that day, I went in curious and walked out a proud owner of a 2017 Kia Niro.**Was it perfect? = NO**The car had some water spots and there was a bit of corrosion on the drivers side key lock and on the hood emblem, but I was assured by Martin that it would be taken care of. I was scheduled an appointment to have the car detailed. Should I blame Martin for that? No, its understandable that the cars are parked outside and facing the elements. Its how Martin handled the situation and promised to address the issues going forward that made me comfortable with my decision to purchase the vehicle.Truth be told, if it hadnt been for Martin Kozlik @ Aloha Kia - I probably would have left and bought a Hyundai that day.For those of you that are just a bit curious about a Kia and in a market for a new vehicle, I would go and see Martin Kozlik @ Aloha Kia - Youll be SOLD!I would also like to point out that Myron Nakayama the Finance Manager was OUTSTANDING as well, he thoroughly explained all options available to me and sold me additional warranties and protections. He actually worked with me, didnt haggle me and gave me an offer I couldnt refuse.Over all I was very pleased with this dealership, Ive patronized many and purchased vehicles from Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Toyota, Nissan, etc. but none left me feeling as great as Aloha Kia. While theyre not a big player amongst the other dealerships, these guys do it right!!!GO SEE MARTIN!!!!

I had a great car buying experience at Aloha Kia Airport. Got myself a new Sportage (lovin it)... The staff was very pleasant, honest and not pushy. My sales rep Hee-Jin, the Finance manager Myron Nakayama, and Ali (who does everything else) were all extremely a pleasure to deal with (particularly when Myron called be after my purchase to tell me he got me a better rate :)Check them out, a really great bunch of people..they put the Aloha in Aloha KiaUpdate..Needed some service.The service dept was friendly courteous and skilled. Kudos to Rosie and the service manager.

Traded in a car, well did have a history on it. The General manager told me to let my car get reposit because it was coming to very low options on what to do and the position we were in and the sad part was that he really meant it . Very bad! but got it to a point were i traded it in for aanother used car as is no warranty. But to come to find out the Ac condenser is broken. But their reparing it for us. So thats actually good to hear . the sales man was great, but idk about the higher up! Very uncomfortable !

They dont care about you! It took them 8 hours to change a hose. It should of been 20 min. They also have very bad attitudes! Never again will I go to them for anything!
