Would not recommend. Was charged $230 to tell me my trunk latch needs to be replaced and a quote of $700. I ordered the part online for $60 and only took 2 bolts to replace myself. Total of 10 min for what they wanted to charge $1000 for. Also got a quote to replace AC issue. They wanted 7k for “a required repair to prevent damage to the high voltage batter” when I looked closely at the quote they added $1200 for new tires and another $400 for an alignment. Never mentioned new tires on the phone. Just bought new tires online for $400. After all this I can not trust them with the actual AC repair. I’m sure they will throw in some unnecessary repairs to jack the price up. Very disappointed in this dealership.

Exceptional service and the price was better than the specialty BMW shops on the island. One of my first thoughts was that I am going to leave reviews on all my social media for them, unsolicited. I wish I’d gone in sooner but I always think of the dealer as a last resort if it’s not a warranty issue. I was wrong.

When our BMW needed to be towed to the dealership because of a faulty starter, Yvette was there and saved the day. An inspection was done and I was briefed on what actions needed to be taken. Parts were ordered and within a week the necessary parts came in. Yvette notified me and I drove away the next afternoon. Yvette always has my best interest at heart. She is clear and concise and I always know where I stand

I had a phenomenal experience purchasing my 330e at BMW Honolulu. Tina is an outstanding sales professional. From her initial greeting to my departure, she was accommodating and never pressured me. Tina is knowledgeable, patient, kind, honest, and very helpful. They have various options, from new to certified pre-owned, but she helped me find the right one for me. I drove off the lot very confident with my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership and ask for Tina.

The service was great down from checking in your car to service advisor they also accommodated me, I dropped off my car Thursday evening so they can work on it Friday they gave me a loaner but couldnt pick up my car till the following Monday and that was not a problem for them holding the loaner till then. Bought a 2017 X5 and in less than six months it has been to the shop 3 times, one visit lasting over a month. I’ve requested to speak to a manager and nothing was done until I contacted BMW USA to file a complaint.I will say my service rep Kainoa was always very polite and considerate. I would not recommended salesperson Terrence, he ignored me the whole time and only spoke to my husband. Ask to speak with Ashley (bought my 5series with her) she is wonderful.

BMW of Honolulu gets 5 stars for prompt customer service.I was greeted upon arrival and directed to 1 of 2 lanes for vehicle drop off, then escorted to the check in Kiosks for my 7am Oil/Maintenance Service appointment!Kainoa Morita, the service advisor was able to send me a link to view the walk around from the technician who did a complete under carriage visual of my 3 series. Everything checked off in good working order!Prior to pick up, the car was washed and cleaned! Thank you BMW of Honolulu!Aloha!

If I could give zero stars I would! The first time I came here, I made an appointment for 7am (waiter) to diagnosis issues I was having with my vehicle. I assumed my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. It took 4-5 hours just for them to tell me it needed to be replaced and the parts was not in stock so I had to come back. 4/5 hours! Came to next my appointment, same experience. Watching everyone filter through waiting on the brakes and rotors to be replaced. Each time I do an inspection they are informing me that everything is fine. I came in today for an oil change and alignment. I mentioned some issues I was having with a creaking noise after just changing the brakes and rotors. I showed up at 7:30 am. At 8:38am I got a video saying everything looks good. At 10:30 roughly I’m being told a part needs to be fixed. I decided today is not the day. A little after 11 I’m being told it may take another hour to two because they are experiencing issues with the alignment. (Understandable because I came from a snowy place) But Why does everything always take so long? An oil change and alignment should not take 4+ hours.

Nathan Henman is a true professional! My former sales associate left BMW and Nathan took the time to notify me and offered his services - if and when needed. Months later when I scheduled a service appointment, Nathan again followed up to see if I need anything. I made it a point to introduce myself while waiting for my car to be serviced and found another car I was interested in. Nathan was quick to provide the information I needed and I made another purchase! Truly a pleasant and efficient person to work with.

Unfortunately, we were pawns with a couple of salesman. Our salesman, Daquan wasted our time by telling us to show a little early to view a car, only to let us it was spoken for upon our arrival. We even spoke with him 30 min before as we were on our way. The dude couldve just been a competent, honest salesman, but theres no such thing.

Took in a 2003 BMW Z4 for overheating issues, to run a diagnostic test of the cooling system and determine the issue. Made the mistake of letting myself be talked into a near $600 engine test in which they determined inconclusive “engine damage”. However, learned upon receipt of the vehicle that the real issue was the mechanic’s failure to refill coolant as it was completely out, causing it to overheat within just a few minutes, leaving it undriveable. Will not ever be returning here again and am now planning to sell this car. Attached photo shows the empty coolant reservoir as it was given to me when they drove it up to me to drive away.The vehicle was fully operable following the engine being bled and fully filled with coolant the night before I brought it here. I paid almost $850 in total for my car to be made much worse. I’ve learned my lesson and will not be buying another BMW.

While I didnt end up purchasing a vehicle with BMW, my sales experience short of actually going through the purchasing process was very nice.My salesperson was Darion who was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He walked through all the different features of the X3, the different options, and things I should look out for while I was test driving the vehicle.On a separate day, I was even able to come back to Darion right before the dealership closed and he helped me look at and test drive another trim.I ultimately preferred a different vehicle over the X3, but enjoyed working with my salesman and highly recommend asking for him!

If you drive a bimmer, there’s only one place to go to get the best care for your ride … literally. But even though they know they are the only BMW dealership on the island, they don’t let that get to their heads—their customers do come first. We’ve dealt with other dealerships (non-BMW), and it’s no comparison. Hands down, you get the highest quality service (sales, service or just a place to get good coffee), the most value and of course, the best cars in the market.

I know it wasn’t anything anyone could have predicted, but it didn’t feel “right” nonetheless. I’m hoping that the dealership will do the right thing and allow me to purchase a different vehicle. It could be something minor, but I don’t want to deal with it.

I miss understood the parts ordering person when I ordered my key fob. I thought I paid for a new key fob and the programming at the time of ordering. I was surprised to be told I had not and had an outstanding balance.The ordering person did not explain clearly or did not know the process for programming a new key fob. He made it sound as though within 30 minutes I’ll be on my way (wrong)!It needs to be explained that the time a person schedule an appointment is just the sign-in time NOT the time a technician will begin work on your vehicle. I over heard this explained to another customer when I was waiting.Also, when is courtesy ride returning? I noticed a dealership across the street has one. I was not expecting to have to wait 2 hours for my service. If I had known the above I would have made other arrangements.Although staff was courteous, my unmet expectations left me frustrated.S Jones

Very responsive. Would have received 5 stars if I could have gotten asking price. BMW overall is having a great year in sales. Also when finalizing the deal with finance they ask if you want all these extras that cost EXTRA and after you sign that check that is the last thing you want is to be asked to spend more money on a car whether you can afford to or not. I think they should include some more perks as other “luxury” dealers do and some of the items in the “convenience” package should be standard.Overall I like the response time and I am having the car shipped to me so it was nice to get pictures of the vehicle. Wish I could get it quicker but it is beyond the control of the dealer.

Excellent experience! We had a great salesperson named Daquan who was knowledgeable, accommodating, courteous and honest. He told us directly what he could do and couldn’t do about all issues. Communicated clearly and responded promptly to all texts or emails. The Finance Manager was super competent and experienced. Everything was handled smoothly and respectfully. I dreaded the car buying process but this dealership and staff were wonderful. BTW the car is great too!! White X3.

I took my BMW there to get a state inspection. They tried telling me it would cost $1,600 to fix the CV boots and it wouldn’t pass an inspection without that. The state inspection is for mirrors, lights, horns etc. not the CV boot. But I had another mechanic look at it just to be sure and was told there were no issues. Seems like they are just trying to collect a paycheck!

The overall staff is very nice as always, and quick to respond to your questions. Normally my experience is without issue and good. The car check in process is smooth as well as the check out. However, the issue I had with this last visit was the loaner car I was given. The car exterior and interior was not clean. Given the current COVID numbers I was shocked I was given a dirty car. I expected more of BMW. I was given a M model and the car had no problems or issues. The car was fun to drive honestly. Normally I would rate my service a 4 or 5, but the fact that I was given a car that had very obvious signs of prior use was disappointing. If you purchased a 90K car that was being serviced, would you be happy receiving a loaner car that appeared to be not wiped down at a minimum given COVID. What does that say about my value as a customer or what you think about my health.

I was without my car for four days. No loaner’s available. Never received a call or update on my vehicle. Had to call several times because calls weren’t returned. My car is a 2010 X5 and getting up in years. I’m thinking of getting a new one, only maybe instead of a BMW, maybe I’ll look across the street or the next door dealerships.

Proper customer service when purchasing a new BMW. The facility is well taken care of and appropriate for the overall experience. Giving it 4 stars rather than 5, because they thought they had the vehicle I wanted in stock. It was on their manifest but not currently at the location. Plus they don’t give real estimates of when the vehicle will be ready for pick. It’s simply a wait until they call kind of situation.

I had an alignment and a battery change done at the BMW of Honolulu. Scheduling was easy (I called a week in advance so I can get a loaner car), the technicians did an excellent job and they gave me the latest 5-series to drive while working on my car. Overcharged me for labor. Over 300 USD to wipe off plastidip on the side-markers and remove tint film on the front headlights. A 20 minute job took the whole afternoon. I always take my bmw for service at the dealer but this one is the worst. I acknowledge that dealer service tends to be higher in price but this one in particular is unfair and unreasonable.

This was standard practice at mainland BMW facilities to show their appreciation for owners, especially lifelong owners such as myself. When you purchase a luxury vehicle you expect luxury services. Theyre capable of doing good work but probably try some shady stuff to make extra money off you if they think they can get away with it. Really terrible with there time management. A first thing in the morning simple task can be an all day leave your car to be babysat by BMW of Honolulu.Almost every time Ive been here the last 3 years Ive been over charged and waited more time than I should have too.Had my vehicle in the shop in Jan 2021 for an oil change and everything was good on the vehicle. May 2021 take her in for new tires $1700 on a 3 series. And a call about a broken cylinder head bolt had its bolt head sheered off. Pretty sus being that I dropped my car off at 09:00 for an 09:15 appointment, and it took until 02:21 to notify me something was wrong with my car. And they were just starting to get around to putting my new tires on my car. ((So Im basically saying what were they doing with my car the whole morning? Plus was told its not something that just happens... There the only people on the island thats had hands under my hood...))If you mention they over price, its the same importing prices or man hours but BMW charges more for man hours than Porsche apparently. So let that sink in that the Ford of Europe is charging more than a higher luxury brand. You would be better off buying a higher price car from another brand with better maintenance fees and just pay the difference for the car itself, rather than be scammed. Probably worse than I imagine since they have no competition on the island to put them in check. They can do what they want. What are you going to send you car to a better dealership? Where California?There workers seem friendly and half the work Ive had done had zero issues. Just maybe have a car friend look over your car before they do there check. Because whos to challenge there word? Maybe they did something or maybe just unlucky.

It’s always a stigma that car dealership or buying a car can be very intimidating as they can be very “pushy”(which I have experienced to two different car dealerships prior-which I won’t name), but BMW-Honolulu was different. First, due to pandemic, I know most needs to schedule an appointment to be seen, but that day we just decided to stop by at BMW and we were approached by Daquan at the parking lot and we just told him we were just looking around for a possible purchase and he patiently showed us around, very knowledgeable and accommodating person, didn’t feel any type of arrogance in him. Secondly, he was thorough on explaining things, because I for one doesn’t know anything about this car I purchased since it’s not even a part of my option at that time.His boss was as well very easy to talk to, they stayed even pass office hours for us. And lastly, I was glad that the company decided not to add up a price adjustment on top of their MSRP due to car shortage(which others does, almost 5K for Land Rover, and 3K for Audi). Okay so, would like to praise Daquan! He was a professional and excellent sales coordinator. Very responsive and willing to work even after hours on the deal. Even making sure I understood Everything prior to signing the paperwork.Getting the car was so easy! It took us less than 45 min to pick it up. They detailed it and it looks great. I haven’t had the best experiences with this dealership in the past, the sale people were not too kind before I think because of my age (being younger). That being said this time around just the customer service alone would have me coming back.Management also helped clarify some things in the back and worked hard too, for that I appreciate their tenacity to get the deal done.Daquan thank you so much! Patrick was extremely helpful in expediting service for our car. We drove in without an appointment as our car suddenly notified us to go to a service center. He told us that it might be dangerous to continue to drive the car, so he managed to take the car in and secure us a loner. He was pleasant, and provided a much better experience than previous customer service agents.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership. I had talked to the service tech about the problem I was having. He told me they would be able to do the repair I needed. When they got the vehicle they pushed for an extra charge and were unable to do what we had talked about. I went to pick the vehicle up after nothing got accomplished. They quoted me $3700.00 to fix the vehicle. They couldnt even start the vehicle to return it.. They told me it was most likely the starter. It was actually interference from the other key fob. I had to return later that evening to pick the vehicle up. This caused me to be stuck in traffic for over 2 hours. My experience was so bad I have now sold this car and will never own another BMW. Worst experience ever with a dealership would not recommend!

Service agent tried to gouge me with $795.00 charge for changing oil and micro filter. When I told him I was going to call around for competitive pricing, he immediately called back and lower the charge 50%. That’s not cool. First and foremost, BMW has the best service program in the business. I worked with Service Manager Gimmie a few times and I now make sure my service appointment is scheduled with him. Gimmie makes repair recommendations only when necessary. Services and repairs were all done to my satisfaction. They got a pretty good team at the Service Department.

Got an email from BMW re car needing service. Called & spoke to a service rep who verified this so made an appointment. I had to organize my own rides bc BMW is still not providing shuttle service (though Lexus across the street fr BMW has been for last two months). At appointment check in told the service not required till Dec. but some other routine service can be done. Drop car at 8:15 am told not ready till the afternoon. Seven hours later at 3:30 I called BMW because my ride was waiting on me. The car was still not done.My car is 21/2 years old. Even maintaining tire pressures takes at least one hour. Regret car purchase.

I usually hate going to dealerships more than I hate going to the dentist! I went to BMW of Honolulu for a car I’ve been saving up for, and they did not disappoint! I had the greatest experience with Jacob - he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and really made for an extremely pleasurable visit. I was in & out with a car in no time. He went above and beyond in every sense before & after sale! He walked me through all of the nooks & crannies of the car and pointed out important things and he even setup my Bluetooth and other things for me. I had a couple of questions about the car after I got home and left a message for him - he still responded within a matter of minutes. If I do 2 5 star reviews, does that make it 10 stars for Jacob?
