Popular and usually has a long line whenever it is open because it has a great diverse menu with lots of local favorite dishes. I got the breaded Ahi special and it came with rice and macaroni salad. It was a large portion and tasted good. We tried the turkey bacon wrap and it was super affordable and a great healthy option that I highly recommend! They do have a peanut allergy warning on their window stating they do have peanuts in some of their items. Most diverse drive through menu in Hilo I would say!

Stopped for some soft serve, that was okay. Between us all, we tried a dipped cone, melon freeze and an Eclipse. They also have food which we did not try. As for the ice cream, it was fine, but nothing special. I would stop just because they have a cool name and their menu items have fun names

Pretty cool down there. There are 2 sides you can explore if you like. Bring a good flash light to see better though it gets pitch dark.

Ice cream is good. Hamburger was mushy and I had gotten sick from it. I only ate half. Slushy wasnt something Id order again.

The dark Hawaiian cook was very rude. As he walked past us outside, he wreaked of Marijuana. We asked him what were the hours and he looked at us and spit on the ground and ignored us.The Teriyaki meat in my plate lunch was overcooked and extremely rubbery. The potatoe salad is dry with no taste.That cook was sweating all over the plates as he was making them. Disgusting!!!Ice cream was OK. The milkshakes have too much milk.

Local dive diner. Very popular with locals as it is right next to the elementary and high school. That seems to be their main business. My fries sucked but my girlfriend liked her dipped cone.

The consensus in our family was that Kozmic Cones had okay ice cream, but the food was only so-so. We would go back if we needed something quick and easy, but probably not for a while.

Great drive thru. A hit with the kids. They have a daily special to watch out for, and I loved their simple (yet FRESH and TASTY) ice cream sandwich. Cookie was thin and crisp (cocoa) and sandwich looked handmade.

Kozmic Cones has been a go to place for my family since I was little. My favorite dessert is the nutty cone because the ice cream is so creamy. I tried the Turkey wrap on this trip which was pretty good but my favorite is the Corned beef and cabbage, they only serve it on Wednesdays. You will not regret your visit! #localspot

I was disappointed by their hamburger steak. A simple meal gone wrong. Brown gravy was cold and lumpy. Bad form.

Its a fast food place with a large menu. They serve plate lunches, burgers, and snacks. Like its name implies they serve soft serve ice cream cones, sundaes, shakes, and slush floats. Something there for everyone. I like the cheeseburger Martian meal deluxe with the sundae token to save for later.

Dont let the name fool you! Really nothing Kosmic about the soft serve ice cream. Just some vanilla with a few added toppings .

I heard a lot of raves about this place, so I went there to get some ice cream with my mom. We were both unimpressed. I didnt see where it was better, out even as good as, McDonalds. Its local, so thats maybe a reason to go there instead of a national chain. Its also possible that the food it better than the ice cream products.

A great place to pick up a quick plate lunch and slush float. The staff is always smiley and friendly. Food is consistently good, too.

Good ice cream order the small blended ones as the medium is huge . Very crowed when we went their is a school down the road and we were there right as it let out so place was packed. Our kids really enjoyed it

The staff are friendly and quick. The soft serve itself seems like the mix might have been watered-down a bit before freezing. That said, its still a relatively tasty cold treat.The mural in the seating area is very fun. Cute little details that you might not notice at first. Kids wild really get a kick out of it.

I am generally happy here. I like to get the plate lunch stuff, but I haven’t had the desert items yet. I think they should season the food more though. Seems like they’re holding back 🧐

I love the food here. The potato salad is the best on the island and you get a home cooked meal atmosphere. Mahalo to the cooks in the back, the beef stew is soft and flavorful .

One of the few places open on Sundays in Hilo. Unique fast food place. Curry is not Japanese style, just as a note. Ice cream is really good!!! I recommend orbit or cone, not slush float.

Just called kozmic cones to check if they were still open just double checking in case the online site is wrong and I said thank you and they just hang up and no say nothing. So rude no common courtesy what so ever. Even though you closed you should still be professional. At least say thank you back or you’re welcome at least say something

I ❤ eating there. Korean chicken plate for me and shrimp snack for my daughter. We also ❤ the slush floats.
