We have a 2017 Subaru Outback Touring V6 and had a 2019 Subaru Ascent Touring both purchased at Five Star Subaru certified. We have had great experiences at Five Star Subaru with sales and service. It feels like a luxury car dealership with how well they treat customers. I did have issues with the 2019 Ascent smoking that were difficult and frustrating to recreate, diagnose, or resolve. Also, we had five other warranty issues with the Ascent. Five Star Subaru really took care of us on the warranty issues even though they were frustrating problems and sometimes had to come back a second time to resolve due to inability to recreate initially. The Outback quality has been superior. Ultimately Subaru and Five Star Subaru went above and beyond to satisfy us. We ended up getting a 2021 Ascent and plan to continue to drive Subaru vehicles for years to come doing all of our service at Five Star Subaru. Thank you to Nick, Tony, Marcus, Mike, John, Sean, Katie, Ron, Joey, and everyone who has worked with us over the years!

I have been bringing my forester to this location for years for maintenance. I thought I could trust them, and I thought they were doing what they said they were doing. Both proved untrue. At this point, I honestly don’t know if they have ever actually done a 27 point inspection. I do know they never refill the washer fluid as I always do that after I leave. I do know my batter that I purchased from somewhere else did end up being defective and had been leaking for months I was told. There was a bluish green buildup all over the batter terminal, and based on the level of buildup and the condition of the battery, it could not have been a sudden and new issue. The battery could have died at any time. Fortunately, it did not die on the many road trips I recently took with my young son, but I think God it died on the parking lot of a store upon return from one of these trips. I hate to imagine what could have happened if it died in the middle of the freeway or something. I had just gotten my oil changed a month prior at Subaru Grapevine. Clearly, they didn’t even look at my battery.

Amazing place to buy! Went to a different dealership before I came here, they were very aggressive with their sales tactic, added bunch of fees, and gave me a horrible deal. I came here afterwards, they had an amazing service, didnt feel any pressure to buy the vehicle, and recieved a better deal.My friend came along with me to pick up the car since I didnt know how to drive a manual yet. They gave him a free mug.My vehicle was suppose to have wind deflector, but when I picked it up, it did not. My spouse and I had an unearthly horrible experience at Five Star Subaru and are still not sure what our next steps should be. We leased a Forester from them about 3 years ago and the lease is coming due in a few months. In preparation for lease end, Subaru and the dealership both contacted us directly and told us to reach out to explore our options. So we did just that, we came to the dealership and told the receptionist we were willing to buy a new car, extend the lease, buy out the lease, or whatever they could talk us into. Those were my exact words. After an hour or so of deciding we did not want a new Outback (and after having already indicated we were also interested in Foresters), they handed our keys back to us and said that they did not want our business and we would have to deal with Subaru directly. We were not given a reason. I am astounded and still do not know what we are supposed to do with this car sitting in our driveway. Is Subaru going to send a tow truck after the lease is up, or something?And I havent mentioned the service experience. We also came in that day with a flat tire. The service tech was professional and very friendly, and he determined there was a repairable hole and was able to patch it up in 45 minutes. Great! Except when we left the dealership, we had a flat less than two hours later in a rainstorm, in the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma. After taking the tire to a more reputable shop, they told us the tire was fixed with an off the shelf plug and the tire was, in fact, irreparable. Through Five Star Subarus negligence, the lives of my spouse and I were put at risk. Fortunately we still have the tire in question if we decide to pursue further action.I simply have no words. Our previous interactions with the dealership were all extremely positive, it was my best car buying experience ever. Now I am stuck with a car, that I dont own, sitting in my driveway that the dealership apparently does want back for unknown and unspecified reasons. I am confused and bewildered why they wouldnt want the$30,000 I was willing to spend on a vehicle during my visit.

I wondered why this place had 4.8 stars and after buying a vehicle there I saw with my own eyes how customer oriented everyone was. Everyone there was very friendly, very helpful with everything, and above all else very patient with my kids. They werent pushy about trying to steer me onto a brand new Subaru, even though we werent going to buy a Subaru. Mitchell sent me a personalized video of the SUV and he also described any imperfections with the SUV, which I appreciate him not trying to hide anything, so after that video we made the hour long trip and bought the SUV thanks to everyone there.
This dealership is amazing! I called yesterday almost in tears because my 2020 Outback would not start. I spoke to John in service and he immediately realized that shouldn’t happen on such a new car and more importantly the desperation in my voice. He offered for me to bring it right over and they would take a look at it. I had another emergency situation going on but I told him I could bring it tomorrow. He said no problem and if it seemed it would be longer than I could wait, which I told him I could wait all day, he would get me a loaner. I say all of this because Hiley in Ft Worth told me they couldn’t even look at it for 7 days and didn’t have a loaner until the end of the month. They had ZERO compassion that I wouldn’t have a car for at least week. I will drive over an hour to Grapevine for all my car needs! Thank you again to John, Sean and I believe Katie (payment desk) You have no idea what is all going on in my life and you made a customer for life!

I had a great experience buying my latest vehicle from this location. I inquired about a vehicle and was of course contacted quickly to set up an appointment. I thought Id have to fight off the greedy/pushy car salesman tactics the whole time, but I absolutely did not have to do that, at all. My sales rep Ms. Rio, was very patient in explaining what my options were,. She didnt try to persuade me to getting a higher priced vehicle and she was very understanding to the features I was looking for in an SUV. The finance manager I worked with Mr. Kareem got me the best deal I could get (way better financing than my credit union) and he was very down to earth and easy to talk to. Every staff member I encountered was polite and friendly. They earned my business and Im glad that I gave it to them.
My experience with Five Star Subaru was fantastic! I am an out of state customer (Subarus are selling out everywhere!) and purchased my Crosstrek sight unseen. From the beginning Chief made me feel informed and comfortable about the purchase even from afar, answering any questions, sending pictures, and keeping me updated throughout the process. I bought a CPO and in the description it listed that it came with crossbars - somewhere along the way they had been separated from the car and Chief made sure to get a new set and had them installed before I arrived. When I arrived to pick it up the car was beautiful and just as described and Chief and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and friendly, no one was ever pushy about making a sale etc. Thank you for a great car buying experience!

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how thorough and detailed they were. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by Mike Ohanesian. He was courteous and welcoming. He instantly addressed my scheduled concerns. Riding along with me to listen for any noises I had an issue with. We didnt hear it at the time, but he advised me to come back when I was hearing it and they would keep my vehicle overnight for a thorough inspection. This was after I told him I didnt feel my concern was anything that interfered with my driving and I felt it could be addressed at another date. He then gave me an estimate of the time it would take for the service (oil change and rotation) to be completed. He led me to the waiting room and showed me where beverages were, if I was interested. I sat in a comfortable and clean waiting room equipped with charging stations for devices and a nice sized TV. I waited approximately 30 mins.Mike came to get me even before I expected him to. He gave me information regarding all of the items they inspected, refilled, and/or changed. I signed my paperwork and he took me to my newly washed and vacuumed Subaru Ascent. It was parked inside the service center ready to go.I called my husband on the drive home and said this was the best oil change/service I have ever received...EVER!!!Thank you 5 Star Subaru and Mike O. for going above beyond my expectations!JN
Needed emergency repairs on our Subaru today. FiveStar Subaru in Grapevine, Texas was closest Subaru dealer at the time. Usually patronize a different dealer. Stopped in without an appointment.Bottom line, I was very impressed and pleased with all aspects of FiveStar’s customer experience.Nice comfortable waiting area with a variety of snacks and drinks. Work was done quickly and correctly. Service Advisor Sean was knowledgeable, patient and very attentive to my concerns.
So on Saturday I had a blow out on my tire and Dyson was able to get me fixed up and set me up with my appointment for my wheel to get fixed. I would like to say thank you to Danny and all the tech staff that helped out today. Just moved from Ohio, so first experience with 5-Star Subaru. Brought my WRX in for 90,000 mile service, state inspection, and TPMS reset/relearn because I run two sets of wheels and switched recently...nearly $1000 of routine service. Picked my vehicle up the yesterday and TPMS light comes on almost instantly on the drive home. I was late to pick-up my daughter, so I couldnt turn around to take it back to the shop. Called today to speak to my advisor about the TPMS light. He said I would have to bring it again and I would be charged an hour of labor @ $170. Please keep in mind I switch wheels often, so I know the resetting/relearn takes less than 5 minutes. My old Subaru dealer in Ohio used to charge me $10, but would do it for free if I was there for another service. So not only do I need to waste my time bringing the vehicle in again, but they want to try and rip me off too? Needless to say, I told them to take a hike and I will never be back. Ran it by Discount Tire a few minutes ago...did the relearn in 5 MINUTES for FREE!!!!!

Was pleasantly surprised by the Service Experience with Five Star Subaru, it was really the best service experience I have ever had in all my 15+ years of Owning/Serving a Car with a Dealership either in India or in US.Some of the things that I would remember from my experience,1. The Cost of my Oil & Filter changes were just right2. There was a Service Advisor backing up Trina when I arrived as she was busy attending another customer, and he was prompt and attendive, then Trina took over from him almost seamlessly.In this process, the cost estimated never overshot the quote3. They did a Wash & Vaccuum complimentary with the Service as an option4. They fixed my Texas License plates into my Subaru without any cost

I LOVE SUBARU, and this dealership truly is a 5 Star experience. The only time I have been unhappy was today when they didnt have parts for my vehicle after driving 3 hours 1 way, for my service appointment to get the seat coolers replace. You wont find a better vehicle to purchase, and this dealership is incredible! Nobody is perfect and I guess this is what I get for living so far from the dealership.

Excellent service. Brought my car in for a couple of recalls and these were promptly handled. I was also offered a nice 21 Forester as a loaner while they worked on my car. An action plan for other suggested maintenance was also provided, but no pressure was applied to push these on me.

Jonnie and Jon went the distance in ensuring an ongoing and difficult to identify problem that I have been wrestling with for some time got addressed appropriately. Its evident that they didnt let the issue fall as the other dealerships have simply followed the flowchart without being tactical and communicating closely with the techs to ensure identification of the issue and executing the proper fix. I had a great experience getting a car from here. I already knew what I wanted and Frankie helped me reserve a car for delivery. Freddie was also super helpful from start to finish with the financial side of the purchasing process. Overall a very helpful experience.If you go there, my recommendation is Frankie. He has answered all of my questions and even answered some after the purchase was complete. There was no pressure and he is very knowledgeable about each model there.I went to every Subaru dealership in the Dallas metropolitan area. This one was the most pleasant experience by a far margin.

Recently purchased a forester sport from five star. Sam, Scott and Kareem were great. There was no pressure to purchase the car or any of the warranties. Sam was very patient and answered every question. Kareem explained all the warranties and provided his recommendations without being pushy. I highly recommend buying a Subaru from five star.

Jordan is an amazing salesman! We live 3hrs away and had to communicate via text and email. He went above and beyond keeping me update on the finance department working out a deal for our trade in to getting me the car I desperately wanted! There have been small hiccups along the way but Jordan never skipped a beat in getting it taken care of. We will defiantly been back when my husband decides its time for another vehicle!

I took my car in for an oil change and was satisfied with the professional service. The service advisor, Michael, was honest with me about the condition of my car. It is better service here than what I received at a Subaru dealer I went to previously which was located in Plano, TX.
Nick and the rest of the team are awesome and super friendly. I was always greeted with a smile even with a mask on lol. The used car process was so smooth and easy. Never have I enjoyed buying a car from a dealer. Nick went above and beyond and provided the best customer service I’ve had in a while. Not only did I get the car I wanted but he was very efficient with getting all the paperwork together. He even checks in to make sure I was still happy and everything was going smooth with the car! Dyson was my service technician. He did an absolutely wonderful job. The waiting area with food and drink, the facility itself, and the benefit of getting a loaner car were all great. Would definitely bring my car there again.

We were so impressed by our experience today with Mike at the service department. He went up and beyond to make sure that we had a loaner car right away when we found out our appointment would take longer than expected. When we returned to pick up our Outlander, it was spotless and Mike even showed us some new features that we didn’t know we had. Thank you, Mike, and the other wonderful staff there at 5-Star!
I came in for a routine oil change Friday, May 24th at about 4:30-4:45 and was told it would be about 2 hours. They were not wrong and utilized that full estimate which I was fine with. What I am not fine with is the fact that upon 20 minutes after leaving I find that my drivers side wheel well, where the bumper attaches, is bent outward and missing the pop clips that secure it along with some chipped paint causing the bumper not to sit flush. Mind you this is very minimal damage but it’s something that was caused by the dealership and should be rectified by those responsible. I immediately called to express concern that evening, spoke to Hannah, and was told I would be given a call back from the manager on Saturday, May 25th. I called late afternoon Saturday after hearing nothing and spoke to Bryan who told me the manager was gone and he would have him contact me Monday, May 27th after “ reviewing the cameras.” Well, I waited until Tuesday, May 28th without hearing anything once again, and decided to give a call but the manager was out. I did not hear anything back until Thursday, May 30th from Marcus, the service manager, who is always polite, and told me he would review the cameras and get back to me that evening if not the following day which would have been Friday, May 31st. It is Wednesday, June 6th before I hear anything back, after my 6th attempt to call and reach out to accomplish some sort of resolution. Marcus informs me that the cameras were “reviewed” and I get 2 extremely low-resolution pictures, at poor angles sent to me via email, as proof that the dealership had no part in the damage caused to my vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous. 12 days for you to call me back and say “not our fault.” Of course, you can’t see any damage in the pictures because the cameras are not high resolution and the damage is super small! Go figure? They would have had to take whole body panels off for anything to be noticeable on those cameras. I would not recommend the service department here and if you do have to come, make sure you get before and after pictures to avoid the run-around. Also, anticipate improper expectations to be set with whomever you speak with in service. Ive attached pictures.UPDATE: Marcus, the Service Manager contacted me the day following the posting of this review and said he would take a look at it personally and see what he could do to make it right. During the time the vehicle was in the shop I was also contacted by Marcus each and every single night to give me a status update of the repair which I am super appreciative of. I just picked up my vehicle today, Friday June 14th and not only did they fix the damage, but they replaced my drivers side mirror that has been broken for the past year that Ive been too lazy to fix. Completely made my day! I will also add that any time I have had to leave my vehicle for any period of time they have always given me a practically brand new rental car. In this scenario a 2019 Impreza with about 400 miles on it. All in all I am happy with the outcome and they really did go out of theyre way to make it right. Ive posted a picture of the repair and while it doesnt look brand new or anything it is certainly not noticeable unless you fixate on it. Thank you Five Star and a big thank you to Marcus specifically for going above and beyond! With my initial experience I had given a single star and subsequently changed it to a 4 after leaving tonight. No it wasnt the quickest to get the issue resolved and the initial effort to have the situation acknowledged was extremely high but Marcus truly delivered and if the rating were solely for him it would be 5 stars. This was probably the best service experience I’ve ever had. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The waiting area was very comfortable and I was told in a very short time that the repair would take a few days so I was put in a nice loaner. I received my car back earlier than expected and a lot cleaner than I left it. Thank you for an outstanding job!
