Just wanted to make a shout out to Mr. Bobby Peña, assistant service manager at Texas Toyota of Grapevine! Bobbie and I hit it off immediately. I have been giving the best service ever at a Toyota dealership. He went above and beyond his call of duty and provided excellent customer service! He’s definitely an asset to his company. Completely disgusted by the corruption of this dealership. Sold a car to me for 15 k took my 6k deposit found out after three days the vehicle burns a qt of oil a week then found out the car needs 4 k worth of front end work. Spoke with manager Omar. The manager stated that the car was bought as is. Then when tried to trade the vehicle in all of them had twice the amount of mileage as a the next dealership for the same price. Do your self a favor go to the next dealership. By the way, I am single mother of two. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.
When my wife brought our car in to a scheduled appointment for a check engine warning light, a customer service representative told her it was probably a loose fuel cap and sent her on her way without even checking the error code or referring to a qualified technician. She drove the car and additional 150 miles as he recommended, which risked further damage to the engine. When I realized what happened, I sent the car back for a second appointment where the true cause was identified, a faulty engine valve.
The experience was unsatisfactory. With an appointment we had over a 2 hour wait for a basic oil change. They run a shady business or they are incompetent to do their job. One service employee tells you one thing & another something opposite(get on the same page people!) I got an up charge even with the Toyota service plan. I feel like they just took advantage because I sent my wife up there. I was actually about to buy another Toyota truck because they are great trucks. It isn’t worth dealing with their service schnanagans. There’s nothing worst than paying this kind of money and feeling taken advantage of. Highly disappointed won’t be back. If you want to spend more than you should go see service advisor Damian.
My appt was for 1:15 on a work day, and they didnt start servicing my vehicle until around 3 pm (after I went in and asked for a status update). I was told that they had a lot of walk-in traffic, so they clearly dont use the scheduling system to prioritize customers with appointments. I had to move my whole afternoon work appointments around. They didnt change my oil, but my service log says that they did. Horrible experience. Will never go back to this location.Edited to add that they have coffee and soda machines, but they have not been operational any of the times Ive been in. Their bathrooms have also been really gross.
Made an appointment to service my car - rotate tires. Online the price was $25. Arrived early / on time, and the rep didn’t ask about my scheduled appointment, got my name wrong, and quoted $75 - not the original $25 they gave me. Waited 1.5 hours in waiting room for them to call me saying I need an additional $700+ of work done - Services that my barely 6 year old car (
I purchased Camry SE 2021 just last night and our the sales advisor was Sean Patterson. It is my second vehicle purchase with him and both my wife and I are highly satisfied with our purchase experience with him. He is very professional and suggested reasonable price for the whole service. Strongly recommend Toyota of Grapevine and if you ever get a chance buying car Sean is amazing to deal with.

I’ve been here before & the only reason I came back was because my regular mechanic doesn’t delve into the hybrid system that much & my hybrid mechanic couldn’t get me in for 2 weeks. So coming here was a last resort. That being said, I dropped my car off on a friday. The dude who was assigned to my car told me that he would call me the next day at 9am to let me know what was going on with my car. The next day, I called back around 2pm since I hadn’t heard from him & was told he was out on a family emergency & that he would get back to me on monday. Great, no worries. Monday comes along, I call & no one calls me back. Tuesday afternoon comes along and I call again & finally get a call back from the guy. Almost 3 working days go by & they didn’t assign anyone else to my car. Unprofessional. And they were condescending to me when I was asking questions about my car. Rude. Go here only if you have to.
Visited today to get a test drive. Sales guys loitering in the front of the dealership did not help and were not interested to show the car I wanted to take a test drive. Everyone is on their phone multitasking while talking which is disrespectful and provide an excuse to leave when they know Im not buying the car same day. They need better training to deal with customers and understand their requirements to close the deal.

Set up an appointment for 10am to have the antenna installed on my truck. I ordered all the parts through their parts department and I’m just sitting here waiting on the technician because he doesn’t know what’s going on…I called days in advance to have this done and it’s like this appointment was never set. If People make appointments ahead of time things should be ready to go on time… disappointing. They want to charge me over $500 just to install an antenna that I’ve already purchased and keep my truck all day… I’ve seen people install this part on YouTube in 30 minutes. RIDICULOUSUPDATE 08.25.21: I made an appointment at Shottenkirk Toyota of Weatherford and not only were they happy to have my business… they installed my antenna for $130 AND in less than half a day. HUNDREDS of dollars less than what I was quoted at Toyota of Grapevine. Seems to me that Toyota of Grapevine could care less and quotes high prices to drive out business they don’t want. Won’t be using this location ever.

These folks are serious about getting the job done. I definitely appreciate that. They were quick and helpful. The only thing I didnt appreciate were the calls squeezing me to add on work that costs a small fortune. What mattered was that they were trying to maintain good care of my vehicle. Yes, I will return to them for maintenance necessary to be accomplished by them. I trust they will do right by me.
Put in a request for some parts online, got a follow up phone call the next morning. They were helpful, and got me what I needed. Got another call when the parts arrived at the store. When picking up, everything was smooth, customer service was great, no issues whatsoever. Cant speak to the maintenance/service center, but if youre looking to order parts, I can say you are in good hands going through this location!
15 salesman standing in front of the building waiting to swarm us when we pulled up. Makes it feel like an uncomfortable, high-pressure environment. We won’t be coming back.
Ive never really had great experiences here. I made an appointment for 9:40 for an oil change because my local oil change couldnt take of my oil gasket. Short story, long wait. This was over 2hrs and 20 minutes and my oil change/car is still not back. Its beyond ridiculous, 1. because that is an extreme wait and 2. I have a 5 month old with me.Dont go here if you dont have too.

Toyota of grapevine has the best parts department of any dealership Ive visited. I visit at least 1 dealership a week and Texas Toyota of Grapevine went out of their way to ensure they did everything they could for us. I ended up getting a tow, diagnostic and repair and they came in $400 below my budget. We will definitely be using their service again! Thank you

I am only giving this a one star because yelp made me in order to submit a review. DO NOT take your vehicles for service at this dealership! I have been taking my 4-runner for regular required maintenance per Toyotas maintenance schedule for that past two years. I was on vacation out of state and had to take my car to a local repair shop due to concerns (the shop was legit the mechanic took me back and showed me the following issues while my car was up on the rack) Turns out the multi-point inspection this dealer claims they performed at 60k didnt find any of these following findings!!!!: rear brakes need to be replaced, coolant leak radiator; rear bushings need to be replaced; front control arm needs to be replaced; and new tires.... How does a multipoint inspection not find these issues during the last two years worth of service? At 62k one month after this 60K maintenance performed at this dealer, I took my vehicle out of state and drove over mountain passes with my kids and my vehicle was not even safe to do this with! I contacted Toyota corporate with serious concerns of this dealer. Corporate blew me off; told me Toyota Corporate cannot do anything to hold the dealership accountable, its up to the dealer to repair the customer relationship. So, I contacted Mike the service manager, and he was horrible! Of course, he put the blame back on me and would not accept accountability that his service team should have caught these issues on one of the multiple times I took my car in for service over the past two years. The general manager of this dealership not any better, HE put the blame back on me and basically blew me off saying they had nothing to do with these issues and that because I was a women I didnt know what I was talking about. Why would I take my car to a dealership to have routine maintenance performed, Mr. General Manager? because I was under the assumption your service department would perform the required inspections and inform me of issues as experts on Toyotas. Your service department, Mr. General Manager, are supposed to perform a mutli-point inspection how did your department not find one of these recommendations?! Again, do not use this dealership to purchase a car or for service they do not perform what you pay for. I will never buy another Toyota because of my experience with this dealership and corporate... Guys in all honestly this dealership blew me off because I am a woman. This whole situation makes me sick to my stomach because as a single mom. I am at their mercy to perform and inform me of issues with my car that need attention. So, I can keep my family as safe as possible. Shame on you Grapevine Toyota and Toyota Corporation! Oh and the service manager said because I didnt buy into his teams oversells of items to perform on my vehicle, this is what happens at a mere 2k later..... No not buying the BS your selling this time!Update The response you see below from The dealer (see my review on Yelp) is a generic response. They once again are putting the blame back on the consumer.... Making things right would be reimbursing me for the cost of my car repairs because your dealership didnt notify me of ANY my referenced RECOMMENDATIONS listed in my prior post! Sales manager Tried to have me and my fiance sign a binding contract to buy a car without ever having physically seen or driven it. If your not careful they will take advantage of you. Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. But might not be a bad place to buy a toyota if you can be assertive enough.
In the past few years I have witnessed this dealerships service quality continue to decline. The biggest red flag is that when you visit for service now, they have an internally generated list of upsell service items that they pitch to you. Top of the list - a fuel booster. Ive gotten maintenance at a lot of dealers over the years, and every single time management changes and they start looking for ways to get more money out of you, they want to do a fuel booster. Theyve also cut out car washes and vacuuming - first they offloaded this part of the service to a car wash in downtown Grapevine, now they dont provide it at all. And to top it all off, service takes longer than ever. They were already slow. Now its insufferable. Their records are inaccurate. They push service you dont need. And on and on.This isnt an exhaustive list by any means, but my experience with their service department has gotten abysmal.
Robert Moran is my family service writer, he always makes sure everyone is taking care of, knows whats going on, and is extremely patient. He is the main reason my mother has purchased two cars there in 12 years. And my next one will be from there also. The place is always clean, nice waiting areas, and everyone is nice and happy to help.
Unfortunately, the experience was not as I had hoped. I called in to schedule an appointment, for a transfer case fluid change, in hopes that setting an appt. would keep me from being there 2-3 hours. I was told the schedule was open I took the earliest appointment available 7:40am. I arrived at 7:40am was told about an hour as they didn’t have much volume. I walked out at 10:30am. Over promised and under delivered.

I called them first thing this morning and talked to Karina. I didnt realize my Corolla had a locking lugnut that prevented the tires from being removed, and I needed the tires I bought at Sams put on so I could travel to Oklahoma tomorrow. She assured me they could unlock it, install the tires and do the alignment, and they also did the recall on my airbag. It even cost less than I thought it would. Highly recommend the service department and Karina.
We recently bought a 4Runner from Texas Toyota of Grapevine and truly had the best customer service experience. From the sales (Lomax) to the finance (Josue) to the general manager (Neal). They made the deal so good we drove all the way from Houston to pick up the car. Lomax went above and beyond to go get a Sprite for my pregnant wife off campus when they didn’t have it available at the self service station. Josue was extra careful when discussing the benefits to ensure we don’t pay double for the services offered by them and our insurance, saving us additional money. We highly recommend this dealership due to their hospitality and professionalism, they have truly gained a life long customer.

***This review is about their Service Department @ Toyota of Grapevine. ******Update*** I went back on Monday.Im told that it might take a while to find out what the problem is so I end up getting a rental car.A few hours later I get an estimate for the repairs and its more than Im willing to put into this car considering the age and milage I have on it, so I decline the repairs.I go back, return the car rental (which they were kind enough to cover for me) and take my car back (which is still driveable).Considering my recent experience with their diagnostic estimate (and as my own double check) Im getting a second opinion before I can say for sure that they were correct in their recent repair estimate. Im definitely not saying that they were incorrect this time too; Im just looking for confirmation after the amount I was quoted.On a side note, there is a guy who greets you at the Service Department (where you drive in) that is so incredibly cheerful and helpful that he makes me smile when I arrive or when getting my car back and I think he needs to be recognized for the great work hes doing. 👍***Original Review***Before I start this review, I would like to state that Im not upset at this point, just confused and disappointed.So far, Ive been to this service center 4 times. Ive had a couple of oil changes, a clutch replaced, and I recently went there because a check engine light came on (which I discovered was a camshaft related alert before I went there).Anyhow, usually my experiences in the past have been positive, but these last two visits (this alert and a recent previous oil change) have been... weird.The oil change is an easy story to tell. I go there, get the oil change, then Im told after the fact that they didnt have enough time to finish all the services they offer for this and charge me the full amount. Ok... I figure this was probably some inspection or something, but I got my oil changed and at the time thats all I really needed so I didnt think too much about this.Now todays story about the check engine light.I made a reservation, dropped the car off the next day, went out for a while, got a call about the car diagnostic, and they tell me that it was such an easy fix that they werent going to charge me for the repair and I can pick the car up.Im relieved to hear this so I tell them that since the repair wasnt too expense lets change out my old sparkplugs if they have time. Im told they could and after confirming what service I asked for we go about our day.This shop closes at 5pm on Saturdays and about 3:30pm I call them to see the status of my car. They tell me its done and I get there around 4pm.Here is how everything shakes out from this point.My rep is not around, so another rep tells me that hell help me ring up my repairs. He tells me the price which didnt include the sparkplugs replacement. I bring this up to him and he gets my rep.The rep arrives and tells me that some service ticket / communication weirdness happened and the sparkplugs were not replaced because of this. I tell him its ok, I can come back at a later day but he insists that it wont take long to replace them so I agree to go ahead with the replacement.About an hour later, he tells me that the car is ready. I pay (well, maybe twice, I made a mistake during the checkout process) and leave with my car.I can tell almost immediately after leaving the garage that theres possibly something still wrong. I can hear almost the same clanking noise Ive been hearing recently as I drive off. But the check engine light is off and I was told by a Toyota representative that nothing needed any repairs so I think its just my imagination.Well, I go home and a few hours later I leave to go to a local restaurant and before I can even go past my own block the check engine light kicks back on.😔..........So, Im going to take off work on Monday (since theyre closed on Sundays) and well see how they settle this then Ill be back here to report what happens next.
