Bought a low mileage, used vehicle from there, but asked them to check the AC before i bought it as it was working but not as effectively as it should. They assured me that it all checked out during their 150 points inspection or whatever! Have had the car for less than 3 months and the AC went out completely! Contacted them, told them the situation and got the standard Let me ask the manager and of course i havent heard anything back from them even after attempting to contact them again. I definitely wont buy anything else from there.

I recently purchased a 2014 Mazda to use as a commuter vehicle. I hadnt intended to buy anything, and I was simply cruising the dealership lot waiting for my car to be serviced. It was a hot day, yet Cynthia Alex Brock came out of the building to greet me. She patiently assisted me while I bounced back and forth over what sort of used vehicle I needed. I found what I was looking for, and so far it appears to be a solid and reliable ride. Alex was most professional and very helpful, even after the sale. I would recommend her to anyone.

What a horrible experience with this Mazda dealership and service staff Daniel Driver and Barry ! I called for tire replacement for four tires. Firstly the Barry quoted me a price on the phone. The price was different than what Mazda/Gastonia website directly quoted. I was not sure what they calculated this but was told that when I came in for the service we can go over the price. After the tire service, Daniel Driver, the assistant service manager told me that he could not care less on what I saw on website and he said it was a SET price because Barry went through this with me on the phone (what a joke - so I could not ask questions?!). I then requested to speak to a manager, he firstly said he was the manager and it is what it is. I then requested to speak to his boss. He said Steve is not here and I must pay now. He then attempted to grab my card away from me on the counter without my consent ! He rudely said that the price difference was tax BUT the problem was that I could not calculate it. What a bully! At that point I was done with him and called my bf in. He is a big strong guy and immediately Daniel’s attitude changed. He started to rambling about how he calculated things. I paid because I wanted to get my key back. But the entire experience was very unpleasant. I would not recommend this service shop at all. I will file complaint because I don’t want anyone else to be treated in such a way in future. Plus I am sicking tired of a bad dealership who thinks they can rob female car owners, because they think we don’t know better and may be afraid of conflict. No Way!

Worst customer service EVER! I called 6 times in less than 3 mins could not talk to someone to schedule an oil change, voicemail is full and chat does not allow to schedule sooner than 48 hours. Is Mazda, service is expected to be a bit better ;(. This dealer is closer to my house but they will not see me there!

Wonderful experience!!! Big thanks to Hutch and Benjamin! Both of them deserve 5 stars each! They made the best deal possible with my requested color and accessories. They were very prompt in reply. I just visited the dealership once to pick up my car, rest all happened over the calls and emails. Benjamin gave me very detailed information about the car and also helped me to set up the Mazda mobile app. Awesome customer service! I would definitely recommend Mazda of Gastonia.

Had a good experience overall purchasing my new Mazda CX-5 from this dealership. Beverly took good care of me and was patient in answering all of my questions as well as letting me test drive multiple cars on a hot Saturday afternoon. When the initial car I was interested in wasn’t available, Hutch made reasonable offers on both a new and used car I was considering pricing for. I ended up walking out with a new CX-5 that day and was able to easily pick up my “old” car later that evening after closing. Getting to the F&I office (Chris) took longer than expected, but hey, it’s a Saturday at the end of the month - what are you going to do? When I went to drop off my deposit check a few days later, Beverly was able to sneak me in with their technician for my window tint, which I wasn’t expecting to be feasible that day since I didn’t have an appointment. Beverly also called me back same day after I left a few questions on her voicemail, despite it being after hours for her. Final word - I went to several dealerships over the weekend and met both managers and salespeople that we’re former co-workers, now competitors. The fact that Mazda of Gastonia had nothing but great things to say about the other speaks highly of their professionalism. I would recommend this dealer.

Good customer service timely responses the only thing they forgot to mention was that I had to get my key program myself that Mazda or the dealership there in Gastonia didnt program the keys so other than that cost me another $75 it was a nice experience and everything went well they were very willing to help the young lady back in the parts department went above and beyond to help me solve my problems and Austin did good with customer service he just forgot to tell me my key wasnt programmed if I ever have any issues I will return here though quality service thanks

Dennis Lara was our sales associate.We live over an hour from Mazda of Gastonia, but they had a used CX-5 that my wife was interested in. We were able to call and confirm the inventory in minutes.Upon arrival Dennis had the vehicle out front and ready.When we decided to purchase they werent able to charge our full down payment in one transaction due to technical limitations. It was Saturday and the banks were closed and our checkbook over 3 hours round trip away. They were very accommodating and sent someone to pickup the remainder of our down payment at our home the following work day.My best purchasing experience thus far. Highly satisfied.

Charlotte in Pineville, I visited Mazda of Gastonia and received an awesome experience with great customer service!Initially, I was corresponding with Ricardo. He was able to research my exact specifications and come back with what was available for me within the parameters that I set. I setup a time to come see him but needed to come earlier than the time I set and he made sure I was taken care of. He called ahead and set me up with JD. JD is the man! He worked a great deal out for me and I drove away in my first Mazda SUV a VERY happy woman! All smiles my way! :) Both of these gentlemen were great to work with. Ive only been to the service department it was a week ago and I still cant get over how bad I was treated. The service advisor was rude and should not be in customer service makes the whole store look bad. I live in Cleveland county I own 3 vehicles a 14 and a 12 and a 08 Mazda all of my vehicles are safety only due to the county I live in. The advisor argued that need I need emissions too and tried to charge me 70 dollars to inspect my vehicle! I drove up the road to earl tindol Ford got a safety only inspection and drove home like it was nothing.

My experience was very positive. Benjamin was very professional in his sales approach from start to finish. He explained the features of the 2020 cx30 and helped through entire process. Obviously anyone purchasing a new vehicle needs to do their due diligence up front and have a reasonable understanding of trade values and financing. The Mazda product is top notch as was my personal buying experience from Mazda of Gastonia. Ask for Benjamin and you will be taken care of.

Most dealerships come up to you and ask you what you are there for and if they can help you with anything and I went in to ask them a couple questions and was waiting to be asked, and had no idea where to go because it wasnt really easy to know where to go.

RUN!!!!!!!!!! Dont waste your Time. They either A- Put low priced false listings up, just to get you to call and try to get you to buy something else -or- B- Leave up listings from previous sales, that sold at a low price, to get you to call. Then they are so unorganized, I called 5 times and waited on the line 10 minutes before either A- the system hung up on me or B- Nobody ever answered and it rang and rang and rang!!! This place literally wasted 3 hours of my life and I walked away without a vehicle. Both instances were to inquires about cars that were already sold! Big surprise, huh!Sales Guy Rick is Spot on, only bright spot of the place. If you do make the mistake of going here, at least let Rick help you, hell ease the pain a little.

Just purchased my brand new 2018 Mazda 3 here recently and had one of the best buying experiences buying a car here. I purchased a 2013 Mazda 3 here as well 6 years ago. I wasn’t in the best situation with equity on my previous car but momentum was up front with me and explained my options to me and that they would put me in the best situation possible. Unlike other Mazda dealerships I visited before and they just seemed to want to move cars and not care about customers. Jody was exceptional and great with everything. She made sure I got the car in the color and packages I wanted. The finance people also made the whole transaction smooth and easy. I was driving in my new car probably 2 hours later. When I have bought cars before it has taken most of the day. Will always return to momentum! There’s a reason they have the best customer reviews out of all the Charlotte area dealers.

The sales department is a delight, everyone is friendly, the service department is a joke. They messed up putting my front rotors back on in November then asked me to drive 35-40 mins from work to bring it back so they could fix it, oddly enough on the same side they messed up on, 1 month later they tell me it needs a new control arm and wheel bearing. Also one guy publicly, around other customers, asked me if I could “afford” to pay my total bill of around $500 or if I needed to call someone to bring me some money. I won’t ever take my car back for service.

This place has great service. It’s a big company so I ended up talking to a few people for the one transaction, but all the staff was well informed and friendly. The dealer I had been working with over the phone even came in on his day off to finalize the transaction. They didn’t put pressure on me to make the purchase and they worked with me on financing to secure a transaction within my price range. The car itself was as good as the pictures showed and the dealer was able to answer all my questions about it. I would definitely recommend anyone using Mazda of Gastonia!

They have excellent customer service and everyone was friendly. The technician who changed my oil and rotated my tires was really polite. It was in and out at the service area. It was way less than I thought and the person who helped me was fantastic and was super nice. He offered me advice since I go to school in the mountains and even took pictures of everything to show me how it looked. I do give this 4 stars because at the body shop they tried to charge me 4K and tell me that I needed to fix things that at the service area said was okay and not the problem. They also didn’t give me an estimate for a wheel well cover but wanted to charge me for suspension. I do not think the body shop is a great part of the Mazda dealership but the services sure is.

I had my first service done at this location and when I received my vehicle back there was damaged done to my vehicle. I notified the service department about the issue. The issue was looked at and at this time they are going to repair the damage that was done to my vehicle. After the damage is repaired I will update the survey. ( Damage occurred when I had a tire rotation performed and the rims were damage .)

Made an appointment ahead of time and didnt have to wait when I got there. Service tech was aware of my intermittent issue with my key fobs on my 2020 CX 30. He said Mazda is aware of this problem but they dont have a fix yet. He replaced the battery in each fob and reprogrammed both to my vehicle. He looked at the log files and determined there wasnt a communication issue at any point. I asked him about my engine compartment battery being only 12.4 volts with engine off and 13.6 volts while running and he said that was normal. He said to keep him informed of any issues as Mazda continues to research and try to sort out the problem. Very knowledgeable, professional and nice.

Service advisor came back with a list of things that needed to be serviced or repaired.The service advisor, Jeremy was Outstanding in his explanations and was willing to work with me to do only the things that I could not do myself, therefore reducing my bill.They have a good fleet of new service loaners which is very helpful.Just refill gas tank to level it was when you pick up and thats it..I commend the management for choosing Jeremy as a valuable, knowledgeable, professional and courteous service advisor.Will be back when I need service again !

We were treated very well. We were immediately greeted and told our car would be ready in 45 to 60 minutes. The car was ready in 45 minutes. My wife was disappointed that our car had not been washed which always happens when we have our car serviced at Mazda South Charlotte, other than that all was well.

Poor after sales service. Jeremy should work as a librarian not in the service department. Until now my car is unfixed and sketchy repair details cause he never gave me a paperwork or what kind of service has been done the last time I was there on April 22. Service people in South Charlotte Mazda are luaghing at his diagnosis that the hub rings are the ones causing the thud/squeak. Hub rings aren’t weight bearing and not turning or moving if it hit a hump. Car is under warranty. I have to email him with his boss on BCC just for him to act. I found him subtle in arrogance. Never trust him again on repairs. Just for oil change maybe. Sorry for my review but this is how I feel as a customer.

I wanted to trade my 2018 CX5 for a 2020 CX5 in a specific color and options. I spoke to 2 other dealers and wasnt thrilled by them. I contacted Gastonia Mazda and got connected with Hutch. He listened to me and said I will make your trade and purchase easy. His obvious excitement to work with me was really greatly appreciated. Hutch said hold on while I check my inventory. He came back and said that they just unloaded a new delivery of vehicles and they had the exact one I was looking for. I told him the deal I was looking for. Hutch said We can make that work. From that point the process could not have been easier. From the minute I arrived at Gastonia Mazda to deliver my trade in do the necessary paperwork and drive away in my new CX5 took 35 minutes. Without a doubt Hutch, Dennis and the finance team worked flawlessly together and made my buying experience EASY as promised.

I have leased two Mazda CX 5s in the last 6 years from another major Mazda dealership in Charlotte. I have been very pleased with my dealings with them in the past. However, when my lease was up in 5/22 I did not hear one word from them. I had to contact them and it took 3 days before someone called back. Then we went back and forth and I felt they were not being honest, and frankly, I got the feeling that they did not really care whether I leased with them or not. I decided to try another dealership. Rico got back to me quickly after my initial inquiry. He was pleasant, helpful and professional and within 24 hours I was driving my new 2020 CX5 home. I feel I got a good deal and the whole process was done expediently.

Absolutely great experience at Momentum Mazda. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to help us get out of a previous bad deal with negative equity we incurred from Keith Hawthorne Hyundai. The Mazda 6 we got is a very nice car, smooth ride and sporty. The paperwork didnt take too long. The sales man David was a nice and down to earth guy. The sales manager Pete worked wonders and got us a pretty sweet deal. The finance manager Kelly moved things along quick and actually explained a lot of the paperwork to us while we laughed and joked. Overall great experience. We will definitely be going back if we choose to purchase another car. These guys did an awesome job with good team work. We need more honest car dealers like Momentum Mazda off Wilkinson Blvd in Lowell NC. Again Thanks guys!

I have owned my Mazda CX-9 for almost 3 years. My last car was a BMW sedan. I wanted a car that could drive in the mountains and handle curves with the power to pass campers and 18 wheelers in the short passing zones. Third row seat was mandatory for my 3 grandchildren to ride on trips. This car is awesome and drives every bit as strong as BMW without the price tag. Momentum Mazda has been awesome too! They have prepared me for every expense and know me by name as well as “Etta” that’s her name 😉! Barry and Jeremy in service department have me covered no matter what. They just finished construction and the new waiting room is sooo nice..loaded with water coffee and tea and snacks and tons of friendly faces! I highly recommend Momentum Mazda they fantastic!

My husband and I had the best experience at Mazda! We had been to another dealership and they treated us very poorly. A few days later we decided to give it another shot and try the Toyota/ Mazda dealership. We went in early in the morning about 30 minutes before they opened just so we could look around without feeling hassled. When we decided on a car they were overwhelmingly nice, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our sales person was Will. He was incredible, he knew how nervous I was and what a terrible experience we had had days before and he was so nice. I never at any point felt pressured. I never felt overwhelmed. He gave us time to think and talk it through with no judgment. The finance manager was so kind. He really worked with us to get us the best deal. Honestly they gave me a new outlook on how I feel about car salesmen. Keep up the good work guys!
