Grove Street Auto came highly recommended by a friend so I thought I would give them a try for replacing my tires and...they were fantastic!Every person was very pleasant to talk to and they sent a detailed quote for the tire replacement so there were no surprises! They even have free loaner cars if you need them...I did not need it, but it is such a great service to have them if you do!Everything from calling to get a quote to being able to pay over the phone and pick my car up after they closed was a delight!I will be back again AND they will get referrals from me every chance I get!

Grove Street is amazing! I had no A/C, bad ball joints, and a few other miscellaneous items to fix. I also had an extended warranty I purchased from a dealership and really wasn’t looking forward to trying to orchestrate everything. I told Chris I had the warranty and without me asking he said “give me the number I will deal with it”. He took care of filing the claim and got everything fixed, I had to pay a lot less than I was anticipating, and my truck is running perfect. They also gave me a loaner vehicle so I didn’t have to miss work. I can’t speak highly enough of the customer service I received. I won’t go anywhere else now! An absolutely great place I highly recommend!

I happened to notice a large gash in the sidewall of one of my cars tires. I immediately called up Grove Street Auto as I had purchased the tires through them about 15k miles ago. Due to the location, they were not able to fix it; however, given the tread on the tire, I didnt have to pay full price. While the car was there, they reminded me that my oil was due to be changed. Given I didnt have it serviced during 2020 Pandemic and I was due for the change anyway, I had them take care of it while it was in for the tire. They rotated the tires and my car is back in ship shape!! The loaner was great and super convenient as I didnt have to rely on someone to give me a ride to or from the shop. Great job Grove Street Auto!! Thank you for making me a happy customer!

I used Grove Street for refreshing my badly oxidized headlights. They did a very nice job. Time will tell if the job lasts, but it looks great right now. Chris, the Service Manager, is very knowledgable about headlights and lighting. He offered some excellent suggestions. I used a loaner car so I could run an errand while waiting. Very professional and helpful.

I found a screw in my tire and was told by another company that it couldnt be patched (they wanted to sell me 4 new tires) so I brought it to Grove Street and they were able to fix it and get me back on the road in less than 45 min. Have been going to them for years and will continue! I trust them.

I needed an oil change and inspection sticker. Took it to GSAR as its close to home and was amazed at their professional service and attention to detail. They found a few things I needed done, gave me a quote with pictures of issues and was able to complete all work that day. My cars almost 8 years old but is now running like new again. Very pleased with the service.

If you need someone to work on your vehicle I recommend you check them out.They are thorough in there inspection of the problem you bring in for. They do not repair any thing else without speaking to you first.Pleasant to work with. I have full confidence in dealing with them.

I had a state inspection and it was done on time as noted.

Popped in without an appointment when I noticed my car’s tire pressure was low. They helped me immediately by checking what was wrong. Told me I could go back early afternoon to get the problem fixed. I did, in under 2 hours they were able to fix the tire that had a leak -it was not a huge job but still. Timely service, courteous and overall a good experience. I will be going back in the future to service my car.

They were very helpful, friendly and honest. I had an older age high mileage car that we still need but plan on trading in soon. Chris was helped us determine what were the most important things to fix right now and what could wait for a little while. I really appreciated the honesty.

Recently I had a tapping noise coming from my engine. I usually have my car serviced at Grove street auto in Franklin. I suspected it might be something fairly serious. It took them a few hours to diagnose it and required they take the engine apart to confirm. They were of course correct and let me know that the tensor belt for timing had broken. They changed the tensor belt several years ago but it was still under warranty. They made a $1200 repair for free. Of course I was delighted but not surprised because they always stand by their work. I dropped off my car for an oil change and to rotate the tires, and I picked up the free rental car they loaned me at 7:00am on my way to work the car completely lost all power and died on the side of 495, and I had to wait over an hour for a tow truck, to go back to the shop to get a different loaner. I was very late for work, and when I finally got my car back, they charged me full price for all of their services. Cost me over $350 for an oil change, tire rotation and air filters. It was very expensive, especially considering that I missed work that morning and was unsafely stranded on the side of the highway for over an hour, because the rental car died. I was a little shocked that they didn’t offer to waive any of the cost considering the huge amount of trouble I had gone through. The cost of services was very expensive as well.

My car was not only making some weird noise, but also after sitting in the garage for almost a year during COVID needed a full glance-over, an inspection sticker, oil change and just an experts check. I called and was greeted with the usual professional and friendly service, and got my car in within the week. My car had a LOT wrong with it and it was all written out in a perfectly written and clearly explained report that included videos and the problems prioritized. After I got a chance to review the issues I talked them over with Chris and we decided what should be done and what could wait. I always trust that the service I will get and the opinions I receive are truthful and professional. My SUV wouldnt start one morning this past week. I had AAA tow it to Grove Street Auto. They looked at it right away, diagnosed the problem, explained the repairs needed and then fixed it all by 3:30 p.m. the same day. I had my car back by 4 p.m. that afternoon. You cant really ask for more than that from a repair shop! Ive used Grove Street exclusively for years and they continue to provide excellent service every time.

Have had two pretty big repairs (brakes & exhaust) done here for my older Nissan Maxima. Very happy with the professionalism and quality of work done. The communication is great (even send you pictures and details of work needed) and the work is done when they say it will be done. Im going to start brining our newer car here as well for its routine maintenance. Would definitely recommend!

We have been coming to Grove Street for several years. I always feel welcome & comfortable waiting for my car if quick service. I appreciate that they lend me a car when I leave mine to be worked on. Suggestions are sometimes made after a sticker appointment but unless it was a danger issue I never have felt pressured to have work done. We have moved to RI and still come back for service. I think that is the best review I could give!

Our family of 4 have been going to Grove Street at least for 15 years. I truly appreciate their honesty! There was one situation where I needed work done on my car and they actually suggested I go to a transmission specialist because it would be less expensive. That type of honestly is why I keep coming back and recommend to anyone that needs car repair work done. I also appreciate that they will discuss what services need immediate attention and what can wait. Knowing what will need to be done helps take away the “surprised feeling “ when you find out you need quite a bit of work. Knowing ahead of time allows you time to budget.The staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep in touch during the repair and never have done work that we haven’t already approved.They are a class act and still have been able to give that “small town feel” along with years of knowledge and reasonable prices. I had my vehicle towed by this company and payed an insane amount of money for this. They showed up quickly and efficiently towed my vehicle but everything else about the experience was miserable. I was originally charged $208 and then when I said I was going to pay with my credit card they price went up to $320. They up charged me in a variety of categories and even charged $90 for a “gate fee”. Absolute rip off. These are not genuine people.

I don’t take my vehicle anywhere else! It is nice to know I can take my car for any maintenance and repairs needed and not have to question or wonder if I’m being taken.Fair pricing, excellent services!

I purchased a new car and had to have my car inspected within 7 days. I had to have my car serviced at the dealership. I called Grove Street and asked if they could do the inspection. Given the current situation, they weren’t taking appointments. I dropped my car off late on Thursday and hoped they would get the inspection done. I got a call early Friday morning that the inspection was done. I was overjoyed. The staff was professional and friendly. I highly recommend Grove Street Auto.

Went in to have a flat tire fixed. Looked like I ran over a nail or something. When I went to pick it up, the cost was a bit more than I was used to for a tire plug. I asked why and Chris explained that the tire was fairly new so they took extra precautions and didn’t just “plug the hole.” They took the tire off, scraped the inner rim, replaced the stem valve, checked the TMPS, and balanced the tire! For a few extra dollars, I now have my tire back with confidence. In business it’s the little things that make a big difference. Great job Grove Street and Thank You!
