They do more than just tires. They have fixed every issue that has come about for my 12 year old car. They are prompt and the prices are fair. They communicate with you every step of the way. I have been very pleased with their work.

Ron gave me the straight story on whether I needed my brakes done ( I didnt!!), fixed a few small things, changed my oil, and had me out in under 90 minutes. Polite and efficient, Ron knows his stuff and has decades of experience. No appointments taken on Saturday.

Went in for a simple oil change, they said there was a crack in the filter so paid for everything to be replaced, few days later my car is shutting off and the engine light is going on we called elite tire and they suggested we take it to the dealer so I did and the changed the oil and replaced the broken filter … so why did I pay elite tire almost $200.00 … when I bright the receipt in to show the owner exactly what took place . He was not happy gave me a song and a dance that was not entertaining, I didn’t feel like arguing he took no ownership to this mistake. And just started talking to the next customer… not a good experience and I’m sure if I went in with a big fella I would have been treated differently! Horrible people !

Only took about an hour.Only thing- the address on Google (as it is now 01/2020) will take you to the currency exchange on Harlem and Madison. Ive been taking my cars to Rod at Elite for six years and cant recommend them highly enough. Repairs are done right, and they stand behind their work. Things I love: theyre open until 8 every night, theyre right next to the Metra and Oak Park Green Line, its hands down the cleanest shop I have ever set foot in, and its sir and maam for every person who walks in the door. You wont find any bargain fixes here, but its an excellent alternative to a dealer in terms of quality of repairs, price, reliability, and convenience.

A professionally run garage that left me very unsatisfied. A slow leak in one tire necessitated an appointment the next day. The analysis of the leak was a ring on the sensor valve stem. Quote was $40 if it came apart easily, $160 if it broke. Ten minutes later the technician decided the problem was not the stem but the two inch cut deep in the treads. Now the recommendation was two new tires. What they didn’t tell me at the time was they would not be the same brand and model as what I had on the car. Shame on me for not knowing what was on the vehicle, but as professionals I would’ve expected them to call this out so I could make the decision whether to accept the alternate model or not. I’m deeply disappointed in their selective sharing of information. And when paying the bill they tacked on 4% additional for use of a credit card. Just tacky. This is the first and last time they will get my business.

Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust. The staff at Elite Tire has truly won my trust. The only mechanic that tells me I dont need the work done. I have been going to them for over 10 years and prices have always been reasonable.

Great quality service. Decent prices, not the cheapest (its not Jiffy Lube ya know...) which is good because the repairs last. Ive taken my Camry and my Lexus here for multiple repairs. Owner is fun but can appear gruff at times -- dont take it personally, its just his style. Honest guy though.

Very convenient location for those of us who live around Oak Park. Nice solid brick building with several maintenance bays - looks far better than a typical auto mechanic location. Top notch scheduling and management team - they set a precise start time and gave me a precise car will be ready time. Unheard of elsewhere. I was skeptical but they met their estimate right on the dot. They installed a new battery for me at a better price than quoted elsewhere - and when I called they picked up on the first ring. Again, unheard of elsewhere. Bottom line - call them and go there with complete confidence.

Very fast and honest folks

Needed a few things done on my front suspension, Rod quoted me a price, not thinking much about it I agreed. When he presented the bill I questioned how he billed me for 14 hours of labor when he didnt even have the car for 8. His response was that was the Book price for each job preformed. No complaints on the actual work, it was done well. My fault for relying on being quoted an honest price for the full job.

First rate service at a fair price. Rod will do his best to guide you to the best solution for your situation, and know that he will not cut corners safety-wise. That means if you just want to put on a bandaid on a problem instead of fixing it correctly, Elite Tire may not be the best place to go. I prefer things like tires and brakes fixed perfectly. Highly recommend!

Since Sears Automotive closed, Ive not been able to find the right tires for my car. After some detours and replacements of sub-par tires, I found Elite Tires right in my home town. The man on the phone knew exactly what to ask, and was not daunted by the fact that my Jeep is 20+ years old. They had the tires I needed the next day, did a realignment and I was on my way on 90 minutes. While I waited, others came in for tire repairs due to nails, etc. The jobs were done quickly. Some will say I paid a little much, but in the U.S., you get what you pay for. Its like driving on a cloud.

Haave taken my car here multiple times. Always great service. Always honest. Most recent trip they discovered an impact bubble on one of the tires right before a 15 hour trip I would be taking. I couldnt afford the original price for a new tire that they quoted for me so they found a cheaper alternative and Im not entirely sure but I think they didnt charge me for the prior service where they discovered the problem....really cannot say enough about this place.

I needed tires repaired on my moms car...had a fast leak...turns out there were a couple of nails in the tires...elite tire and auto got me in and out in less than 45 minutes.While waiting for my car, I witnessed several other people come in...all were treated extremely warm, in particular this nice old lady. I can tell this establishment cares about providing honest work. I live in Georgia, but I needed to get my moms car fixed quickly so I could get to the hospital...glad I chose elite tire and auto...Rod and his staff are on point!

Elite tire was incredibly helpful in quickly diagnosing what was wrong with my car. They weren’t able to make the repairs, but gave me the info I needed and allowed me to get back to my plans quickly.

Stopped in without an appointment for an oil change. They got me in right away. The for behind the counter was extremely nice. I waited in the lobby and enjoyed the free coffee. Took less than 30 min.

I would like to give the place 5 stars, but after today, I cant. I dropped my car off to change out two front tires. They called me and told me they broke both TPMS sensors. When I went in, I saw the sensors and agreed it was my fault because of the metal caps I used. The only thing that made me rate this as 1 star is because I got scammed, charged $89.00 per sensor that goes for around 40.00 brand new and when I asked them, they just responded with well, thats just what we charge.So 360.00 just to swap out two tires (I already had my own tires).

I get all of my auto servicing done at Elite Tire. Rod, the owner, is very straight forward and, I feel, that he doesnt jerk me around. Also, Rod and his team do good work. Ive never had an issue w/them or their work.The only downside is that Elite Tire is a little bit more expensive than other places. However, that is overshadowed by the work they do.Just know - yes, you can find a cheaper deal. However, they are dependable and will save you money in the long run.

Just had the worst experience here. After being a loyal customer for a couple years. I brought my car in for a simple $40 tire repair & they somehow managed to break a bolt off on my wheel, then tell me that it would cost over $300 to repair THEIR error. Do not trust this business! I will NOT be returning.

Rod runs a tight ship/shop. Diagnosis and analysis reflect long history of automotive experience. No bs or unscrupulous practices common to the repair and pmi shops. Pricing is always what is quoted or if additional parts or labor are needed, notification always precedes the work. Facility is top quality. If you are seeking aitomotive repairs, you might find cheaper shops, but high quality workmanship is the best deal.

I drove in, having issues with brakes, 45 minutes from my house, and they told me $89 for just inspecting. They wouldnt put on the pads I bought previously, understanding that most places wouldnt because of theyre policies, so fine. They said, we only do brakes and rotors. I asked how much, they said $500! $500! For a job I can do in my driveway. Hell no. I risked it and got home safe. Will never stop here again.

Never go to this repair shop. I went in for a slow leak in a tire when I tried to leave my car wouldnt start. They told me it was my starter. My car is routinely inspected every three months by the dealer I bought it from. Never had a problem with the car starting. Thought they could make a buck off me by sabotaging my car. Wish I could give negative stars.

My experience here was great. I thought my car was having a tire balance issue (even though I dont know anything about cars), and insisted they perform that fix. That was only twenty bucks. When it turned out to be a loose front tire, they fixed that right away and didnt charge me anything.

Arrived shortly after Elite Tire’s 7 am opening time and told could not be serviced until 8. So I went to Cassidy Tire on North Ave, which opened at 7:30. Cassidy looked at my car, advised of the need for one OEM tire, that they would order it and could install it next day morning. Was driving by Elite Tire on my way back home at 8.

Rude and two expensive my car died right in front i asked for a jump they charged me fifty bucks to jump then car died in there driveway when i tryed to leav.i asked for a second jump rod said it would be an other fifty so i went next door to pepboys and asked for a jump they did it for free omg i was mad. Rod is absolutely great!I first took our car to Just tires on Cermak and the sales guy barely took a peek at the car and told me that all four tires would need to come off asap. The car is a year old and the tread is fine on all the other tires, so i told him that, and he insisted that he would only change all four of the tires or he wouldnt do it. Im assuming he took this approach because Im a woman. And he seemed very frustrated that I wouldnt just hand him the $800 he quoted me for a new set of tires.I took my car to Rod at Elite next, they took a look at the car. Gave me sound advice on not using Fix-A-Flat in tire leak situations, and REPAIRED the tire $50. Rod is straight-forward, honest and will be our mechanic for minor issues going forward!

AVOID IF YOU CAN. We had an unsavory experience here - where we brought in a tire with a leak to be fixed, which it was for $50. Drove the vehicle home without thought. Later that day when we needed to move the car within the parking garage the tire sensor light was back on! Same tire, same leak. When presented with this information Elite would not honor the warranty. We took the car home and will fix it via our usual and trusted mechanic shop Town & Country

Pretty horrible customer service.Granted, I arrived late (by 10 minutes) to my appointment and was disappointed another car got ahead of me; however, do not believe that was deserving of the raised temper from the person assisting me. He seemed more upset than I was for not having the opportunity for my car to be looked at by an experienced technician as I had wished. I understand time is money, and was fine when I learned I could come on Saturday for a free check-up.As the hour passed, I noticed the person at the desk had softened and had a change of heart to delete this post. (My original post was made in haste and consisted of the first sentence above.) I made a mental note to do it when I got home as I could not delete a post on my phone. However, I got called out on my post while waiting and just goes to show perhaps my original post was correct - lack of professionalism and customer service.From this traumatic experience, I have learned not to post while still in store...I do say, if you have thick skin, quality of work is good and I do not feel ripped off. I tried to leave on good graces, but the damage has been done. This story would have ended differently if he had asked why my rating was poor and heard that I had all intentions to delete my post instead of being confrontational.

Got an oil change done here recently and had my wifes suv repaired here a few years ago. They are honest and do a good job and dont try to upsell. It was hard to get an appointment as they are busy so I had to leave my ride all day for the oil change, which was fine since I take the train. Their pricing is average.

This is the place. Seriously. They fixed my tires, didnt pressure me for more, showed great care and consideration for my situation, and made sure everything was perfect. Top notch.

Terriable service. Called the shop to have some labor done, i had the parts. The gentleman was extremely rude and crass on the phone with me. Obviously customer service is not part of their business model. I understand there may be policy in place but that does not mean they need be rude, yell, and talk down to a potential customer. The owner is a jerk. He performed a $149 engine check without being asked and then lied about disclosing this dollar amount.Also, isnt it illegal to smoke inside these days? Gross.

I took my car to this place for the oil change in the morning. It was the owner, Rod, who was in the front desk. I told him that I want to have synthetic oil instead of conventional oil and he said yes and told me I need to wait till afternoon to get the car. So I left my car in the garage.I received a call from the mechanic guy who did the service in the afternoon that I can go there to pick up my car. I went to the place after work around 7:20 (they close at 8:00). The mechanic guy already printed out receipt and it shows the price for the conventional oil (about $34). I mentioned why its not synthetic oil. The owner, Rod, immediately said it is synthetic oil. I then asked why it shows as conventional oil on the receipt. He said I will change to synthetic oil and it should be $75. He then printed out another receipt and asked me for $75. I am not sure who told the truth. To my understanding, the people who did the service should be more clear about what kind of oil they used. I will be ok with conventional oil if they already did that. But, I hate to be cheated! Rob insisted that it was synthetic oil. I said, Ok, I gave you the money, but it will be my last time here! I will never come to this place and never recommend this place to any one else!!!

Ive taken both of my cars here several times over the past year for oil changes and tire rotations. During my last visit the front office crew was actually smoking inside. What! Really? Also I feel they are fairly over priced.

My AC compressor had to be replaced and Elite Tire and Auto Repair was going to charge double the price from what the certified dealer charged. I recommend comparing prices to other mechanics and dealers before doing business with Elite Tire and Auto Repair.
