John was my salesman and Kevin was the finance manager, i also had a lady help me with getting my numbers right(can’t remember her name!) I’ve never had a more personal and smooth experience. Went to Hertrich to look at f150s. I told them I was gonna be a hard sale coming from a Toyota. I did get into a used truck. Nicole did what needed to be done to get me into that truck. Now I’ve had some issue with the truck and I’ve called in and talked to my salesman he said he would get back to me. That’s been 3 weeks now. Also I don’t expect this but I never got a follow up on how I like the truck and what not. My last dealer this this and it was nice knowing that they cared. The place I work at is all about customer service and communication and not to sure Hertrich of Easton is to much about it. I may be wrong but that’s just me being a new customer there.UPDATE: manager contacted me and was very apologetic about my situation and corrected my issues and will be taking truck back for them to check over

I live in DC and got new keys for my Ford Escape less than a year ago. My friend drove my car to Easton on Sunday and then couldn’t restart the car, as the key died. I had the car towed to Hertrich Ford, as it was the closest dealership. My friend was able to borrow a friend’s car and drove back to DC Sunday night. I called Hertrich first thing Monday morning and explained the situation—the driver of my car is stranded, and I just need a new key, which is covered under warranty. They said they could take care of it that very day, no problem. My friend drove his borrowed car BACK OUT to Easton (with my spare key) and then waited around for the dealership to call him to say the car was ready. Well, not only did Hertrich NOT look at my car that day, THEY CLOSED WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. So now my friend is stranded in Easton, can no longer borrow the car he had been borrowing, and can’t even get to my car. All the dealership had to do was say they couldn’t get to it today, and my friend could have used my spare key to drive my car back to DC. Now, I either have to pay for a hotel room tonight or two $80 Uber rides (to DC tonight, back to Easton in the morning)! This dealership service department is TERRIBLE.edit: in response to the BLATENT FALSEHOOD of a response from the dealership to this post, no, Hertrich Ford was NOT able to resolve this issue and I am NOT satisfied. My friend got a hold of some manager (maybe this George Greenway?) Monday night after the service department closed WITHOUT NOTIFYING US and asked that we just be allowed to get my car keys and my car and be on our way, since one of the keys actually worked. Nope, the manager wouldnt let my friend get the car. First, he said I mean, yeah, we close as if we were surprised they werent 24 hours. Buddy, heres news for you: we were not surprised you close every night at some point. We WERE surprised you had a job that would take maybe an hour, which would benefit a MOTORIST STRANDED OVERNIGHT, and you promised to take care of it THAT DAY and call us when the job was done...and then didnt do either!!! This manager also said he had no idea where the shop even kept keys, so theres no way he could help. Bit of advice to anyone who ever takes their car to a service department: never go to a shop that doesnt even know where it keeps its keys! Long story short, my friend was able to borrow another friends car, drive the two hours home for the night, and drive the two hours back in the morning. He was able to pry my car away from this dealership, totally untouched and key unrepaired. The car is currently at Koons Ford in Falls Church, VA--where service is wonderful--and, when the service folks there saw the Hertrich paper work said likely low voltage car battery and some other unrelated potential causes, they laughed for a loooooong time because it seems the service folks at Hertrich have no idea what a dead key looks like. The new key is being reprogrammed (two hours tops, Koons says), as I write this review, totally for free, as the key was less than a year old and under warranty. Oh, thats another thing, Hertrich told my friend that, even if the issue were the key (which they didnt believe it was) it likely wouldnt be covered under warranty, because theyd never heard of such a thing. WHAT?! Dear god, stay away from this place.And did I mention that, during this entire ordeal, my friend had his service dog with him? Because he did. Im not saying that what Hertrich did was ADA non-compliant, but I AM saying that stranding my friend and his service dog in a situation like this was, at a minimum, a darned cruel and heartless thing to do.

Only once I arrived at the Elkton store did I realize that I had made an appointment with the sales staff in Easton, which is located more than 1 hour away. Having the time to spare and nothing to lose since I was not intending to purchase right away, my wife and I took the trip.We were pleasantly surprised by the willingness of the staff to negotiate a fair deal that was within our budget. We purchased the next day. I can honestly say, no matter where you are located, consider making the trek to Hertrich Ford of Easton. Like us, you may find that the drive is worth your while.

I put in an online request in for an older Ford Fusion due to needing a new vehicle, with my current one having mechanical issues and still having a vehicle payment. They worked with me to find the right financing and as a result I am in a Brand New Ford Fusion, after initial loan offer, they continued to work and got a better deal to lower my financial payment. This was my second purchase from Hertrich Ford of Easton.All the staff from the GM to the Salesman were so patient and understanding that I did not want to rush into a purchase I did not feel comfortable with. Even though I did my due diligence with a purchase, I did have an issue come up post-sale and I have to give credit to these people for making it right for me and treating me professionally and with respect through the process. Highly recommend if you want to walk away happy and with peace of mind even if you have to drive 1.5hrs to get to them like I had to.

I bought $7,500 used car from dealer. They delivered to my house. The next morning I noticed passenger side door frame was damaged like showing a picture. I cant believe myself i missed it. Anyhow, I took the all pictures sent to dealer and they said they can nothing to do because I missed it and it is a used car. Dont go to Hertrich!!!!!
Horrible customer service! We took my husbands aunt there to look for a reliable used vehicle. Prior to going we called and explained her situation to see if they could help, they told us yes and had a vehicle waiting for her to look at. We took her up, she fell in love with it, we came back the next day worked out a deal, signed papers, got the keys and left with the vehicle. A MONTH LATER they call her and say there was an issue with her financing and they need her to bring in more pay stubs. She drives up there in the vehicle to bring them the pay stubs they had asked for, only for them to ambush her and tell her they were taking the vehicle back, that her financing had fallen through. They dropped her off at another dealership with her belongings and drove off with the car leaving her stranded in tears. Luckily the other dealership actually had a heart and cared about their customers. They not only got her a loaner car for the night, but the next day got her into a very nice SUV at a better price than Hertrich Ford had given her.It was an extremely traumatic experience and completely unwarranted, just shows that they do not care for or respect their customers!**In response to their response below**If you were unable to obtain financing for her thats fine but why let her leave with the car to begin with in that case and wait a month to take it back, without out even mentioning anything about there being an issue after she signed all of the papers for the vehicle. Also it would have been nice if you had been upfront with her about everything instead of just telling her oh we need you to come up and bring updated pay stubs then taking the vehicle from her leaving her with no way home, back to her children!
Yesterday my wife and I bought a new F150. We had a salesman by the name Jeff Hatch. Even though I messed with him a little I kept telling him he was a 1.75 star salesman, he is an excellent salesman. I honestly will give him a 5 star rating as well as Joe and all the others that assisted in making the sale happen at a great price. This dealership made my first car busying experience so easy. They didn’t try to short me anything, or put me in a car/truck I didn’t want. They actively looked for discounts as a recent college graduate. They even worked well with my family when they came to assist. Between C. Brian/ Trish/ and Kevin they are a good triple threat. Even after buying the 2019 ranger...they kept in contact just to see how I was enjoying it and if I needed anything further. I smile whenever I pass the dealership. Would recommend buying from them.

Best decision youll ever make. Everyone is fantastic, trustworthy, open and honest. Ive tried many other dealership and this is the only one that doesnt give out BS. I used to go to Preston Ford. Ive seen Preston Ford lie to customers and refuse to put new transmission fiuld in my 2016 ford focus (which the dual clutch needs). And Hertrich has great service prices for a dealership. I will not allow anyone but Hertrich Ford of Easton to service my car. They also actually care about people and are willing to help. The service wait room is fantastic and the 100k warranty on certified used vehicles is like nothing else. Because no one else does that kind of warranty for certified used. And they wont put in a vehicle you cant afford, theyre looking out for you. And theyre very involved in the community. I will never go to any other dealership other than Hertrich.

Beware!!! bait and switch. They went as far as sending me an official quote. I accepted the price and filled out the financing. Next day they call and stated that someone else is interested in the truck and I can back out of the deal but if i want the vehicle i will have to pay an additional $3595. They claim an error, however, zip code is clearly disclosed and even listed on the original quote. I recommend that you stay away from this dealership.

I recently purchased a supposedly certified pre owned vehicle. Well I can tell you there is nothing certified about it. It has been giving me nothing but problems since I brought it. I brought in the middle of May 2020 and the dealership has had it longer than I have been able to enjoy it because every time I turn around something is wrong with it smh. Vito was my salesman and he was very nice and helped me out a lot but I wish I didn’t get this car. I just want to be able to enjoy it not to mention I am now careless smh. If you purchase something from them make sure you check everything smh

Drove a good distance because the deals. I had no idea of the treatment I was going to get when I got to the dealership. The staff was amazing they had many choices on the F250 I was looking at. The staff took their time and showed me each feature I was amazed set me up for my first appointment I will be telling all my friends and family about how great my treatment was and Im driving a new Ford now!

Previously bought a truck from them and had a decent experience at that time. However a couple years later and I’m back looking to get a new explorer. The salesman was great but the GM was a different story. I had deal worked up at a different dealer but the vehicle wouldn’t be in for a month so I told them what I was offered for my trade. The GM drove my trade (a BMW 2015) and works his little money magic at the sales desk. He disappears suddenly to his little locked room in the back so the salesman could go over the numbers with me. Go figure the price he gave me for my trade in was 6k less than Preston offered. Based on the GMs sleazy behavior I have zero plans to ever purchase or recommend them again. And that sucks because the lease for the truck is up this fall and they could have sold another truck as well. Gone for Good! Goto Preston and ask for Kate....she’s very courteous and helpful.Update: Hertrich valued my trade-in $4000 less than three other ford dealerships in the area. I did not have an unreasonable expectation of value. Only expected it to be a little more in line with other Ford Dealerships. Given my history with them as a previous customer I expected better.
The service department at the Easton Hetrich Ford is absolutely terrible. I had my power steering replaced in my car about a year ago from another shop. The car ran perfect for about a year and than the power steering went out again. I took the car back to the original shop who confirmed that the power steering needed to be replaced again, and that the part was still under warranty. They agreed to replace the part, however I would have had to pay 1400 out of pocket again to have it replaced and then be reimbursed. They suggested that if I take it to a Ford dealership I would not need to pay upfront. I went to Hertrich Ford who took the car and did not agree that the power steering needed to be replaced. They claimed that a wire was just not connected and they reconnected it and everything should be fine. We paid them for this service and took the car home. Within three days the car broke again and the warning service power steering now was showing on the dash of the car again. I took it back to Hertrich again and showed them that the light was again on in the car and power steering was out again. They took the car for three days and called me back saying they dont believe anything is wrong with the power steering, they are unable to determine what is wrong, but that they have the power steering working and I can come and pick the car up. I picked it up Tuesday night and by Wednesday morning it was broken again. I then called Preston Ford and made an appointment for that Friday. Preston took the car Friday morning, and by Friday at 1:00 they confirmed it was the power steering(thats still covered by warranty) and replaced it by Saturday morning. I have had no problems since. I called Hertrich for a refund for the first time we took the car to the shop and they refused to reimburse me. Its one thing to not be able to diagnosis something as simple as replacing a faulty power steering component, but to not reimburse a customer when you obviously make a mistake is unacceptable. We will NEVER use Hertrich Ford of Easton again.

Hands down best place to buy a car! I just had my 2nd stress free purchase last night. From the time i stepped out of my car it was all of 2 hours and i was off in my new car. Great professional salesman and manager. Dont hesitate on your drive by stop and see them for your new or used car needs!
I bought a car here a few years ago and they made me think I was going to get the car for less than the sale price but then when I met with the finance man, he told me they couldnt go lower on the price so I had to buy it for the original price instead of the price we agreed on. It was just me and my sister there so they took advantage. I realize I should of walked out when they screwed me over but I learned my lesson from this. I definitely overpaid, so just be careful of the tricks they will play.
This was my second used vehicle purchase from Hertrichs Ford in Easton. My experience was so positive three years ago, that not only have I returned, but I returned alone (single female) to purchase my first F-150 to replace my still amazing, small crossover. The salesman Jeff Hatch was great, fun even and tolerant of my quirky behavior. His trainee John N. was also professional and friendly. Financing was a positive experience, too. I purchased touchup paint and WeatherTech mats -which parts had in stock and parts person was great! Returned to service to get a sticker removed and they cleaned the truck a second time for me! Hoping for years more good driving from my new ride.Thanks, Hertrich!

It WAS an awesome transaction until, they kept losing all my additional stuff. My spare key my books my manual. 2 months ive had this car while waiting and calling and fighting to get what is owed to me. Never would i do this again. Should have listened to others.
