Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while shopping for furniture. Angela excelled in ensuring my needs were met and provided exceptional service. Even though I had to return to cancel the order(my fault not hers) I would gladly recommend her and the store to everyone. The manager, staff and everyone were so kind and thoughtful. I feel terrible that I didn’t notice my blunder before about needing a right-hand chaise. Still can’t rave on enough about how incredibly knowledgeable, wonderful, candid, and caring Angela was throughout the entire process. Hands down would recommend to anyone looking for furniture and a design team that cares.

Ive gone several times and have always been treated well and with nothing but patience; this includes a crazy busy Saturday where my husband and i couldnt decide on a chair fabric. I even called earlier today asking about silverware and couldnt have received kinder service. Love this store.

Horrible customer service experience with this location. We called ahead and they confirmed that they had four dining chairs in stock at their location. They said that they would hold them until we could get to the store for pick up. When we made the drive to this location to pick up because the items were back ordered online, we were told that they could actually only sell us 3 because they wanted to keep one to put out on the floor. When we expressed our frustrations, we were told to pick other chairs and met with the absolute most unapologetic staff. Overall, poor customer service makes for a horrible experience and not worth buying directly from this brick and mortar location. Id rather wait for a backordered item and not have dining chairs for months than deal with some of these employees again...

Absolutely ! disaster Customer experience. Give them Zero star for not accepting a return on clearance item… not even in store credit. Managers approach was “its stated on the receipt - no return policy” on these items… well once you buy it you get the notification which is then too late! Spend your hard earned cash somewhere else that care about you returning !!

Giving five stars for Madison! The sweetest and most patient girl ever! She made our experience great!But giving one star for everything else. When we bought all of our pieces in May, we were told by a manager that West Elm wouldn’t be doing any more sales after we asked if we should wait. Fast forward to the end of June and everything we bought is on sale and the only way you can get the price adjusted is if you return the product and repurchase it. Terrible way to do business!We also bought a storage bed frame and the color had changed apparently as of June 1 and now frost gray is apparently the same as storm gray when they were different in store. The only reason I know was double checking our receipt and seeing the tracking color bought was different than the one on the receipt. So praying our bed ships at the right color -_-

Wish I could give a 0. Absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. The employees at the physical store itself are no better. It seems like no one knows whats going on. Customer service doesnt know anything. The store from which I ordered my custom couch doesnt know anything. Btw, the couch was ordered in September of 2020. Ive seen that there are multiple cases of what Im going through so if youre reading this please go a different route for furniture.

Its a long review but worth reading before even considering purchasing anything at west elm.Take your business to Crate and Barrel! Ordered an entire Bed Set. The Bed set arrived...with a broken footboard. To top it off, the bed was incorrectly installed (unbeknownst to us at the time), we did call out to the initial delivery team that something seemed off, but they shrugged it off as If we screw any deeper it will damage the wood. We slept on the bed for about a month, while what we believed was our replacement footboard, was being processed. Upon arrival, which happened after West Elm communicated and missed the delivery window and needed rescheduling, the second delivery team show up with extra slats instead (Not their fault, they dont handle logistics). The most upsetting part is that this is after countless conversations with West Elm Customer Service about the replacement; including pictures, emails to the quality control team and even detailed information provided on the initial delivery order form of the first delivery team .The second delivery team was kind enough to point out that the bed was initially installed incorrectly and was dangerous the way it stood, mind you delivery and installation fees at West Elm are not cheap, they corrected the issue, but we still do not have our replacement footboard.Now my wife is working with STILL working with Customer Support to figure out whats next. Needless to say, for the price you pay at West Elm, you are undoubtedly expecting amazing quality Customer Service, but we, like many others have experienced the exact opposite.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Absolute terrible customer service. Been waiting on a couch since OCT 2020. They can’t even give you an update. They just send an email every month pushing out delivery date to the following month. They use an overseas vendor to which they can’t even figure out what vendor they use. Absolute garbage!! They lock you in with a custom order that you cannot cancel. This should be illegal!

DO NOT SHOP HERE, it’s not worth it. The furniture may look great but it is not worth it. Ordered the Portside Low Sectional back in September and received the cushion covers only (1 box) and an email confirming delivery of the (2) shipments - so I called to see where the confusion was. I spoke with 4 different people on 4 separate occasions who all confirmed that this was a mistake and the sectional would be reordered at no cost and sent to me... 3 months later, still no update and no sectional, I call this morning to cancel everything and was told I have already been refunded, which I was not. I then receive an email confirming the cancellation and 30 minutes later an email confirming the shipping date. I call again to figure out what in the world is going on over there and they tell me the order is canceled but the reason all of this happened is because I ordered just the cushion covers only, and not the actual sectional...no way. I looked at the website and sure enough, the page for this sectional has been completely revamped from when I purchase and clearly states the prices for the different pieces and and another listing clearly states the cushion covers. No apologies from customer service, they made it sound like it was entirely my fault. Which is interesting because none of the other representatives picked up on this either, so clearly I am not the only one to have this issue.In the end, I will not fall for west elm again. DO NOT SHOP HERE, it’s not worth it.

Stay far far far far far away from this place. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. We are still waiting on an ottoman that is part of our couch that was placed Labor Day 2020. We are expected to now receive it in May (8 months later) and we arent even sure at that point if it will. We have had delivery dates lined up 3 times now and it just doesnt show up. No one is helpful here in the situation including the store where it was initially purchased. It is not worth the headache, time, or money.

Buyer beware. False delivery dates promised on furniture and it turned into 8-9 weeks later than original delivery date quoted. Called mgr of store, customer service associate and customer service supervisor and all had a resounding “I don’t care” attitude, offered no solutions, no additional discounts for the misrepresentation of delivery times to keep the order and best they could muster up is...so, do you just want to cancel the order? Incredible company culture you have going on over the W. Elm! Very customer focused! Not even an apology. Guess I’ll get comfy sitting on the floor!

Ordered 2 vases ($150/each) online as a gift to pick up at the store. When we got to the store about a week after ordering online, the vases were scuffed up. We had to reorder and ship from the warehouse to our home & shipping was $30 extra. We asked to have them delivered to the store to avoid the cost since we live locally, but that wasn’t an option. Frustrating no one told us during the week they had the vases ready for our pick up. The gift is delayed and we spent $30 extra on shipping.

I have a West Elm leather couch, bed, console table, pillows, coffee table and bed linens. Needless to say, I love the style and am a very loyal customer. I typically shop online, but the store had an item I wanted to see in person. Ive been to the store once before and it was not a great experience, but I told myself they were just busy that day. Sadly, that is not the case. No wonder brick and mortar shops are going out of business if customers ready to purchase CANNOT even get the courtesy of eye contact or acknowledgment. There were a handful of customers and several associates working who each took great pains to avoid, ignore and glare at shoppers...including me - standing by the table I came to purchase- even after trying to get someones attention. Shame on them! West Elm as a brand deserves better representation and every person that walks in that store is a future loyal customer that these employees are turning away with their rudeness.

Seriously, never ever order furniture from West Elm. I know there are other reviews saying the same thing and they are true. Ive had two major furniture deliveries now for two different orders and neither one of them is complete. First, I ordered a sectional and they brought half of the wrong couch (different color as well as different type of couch). I still dont have a full couch and its been about a month now since their mistake - believe me they are in no hurry to fix it. Today, I was supposed to receive my bed frame and once again, pieces are missing. I have no idea when Ill get the rest. This company has awful service and is incapable of delivering furniture that they charge THOUSANDS of dollars for. I will never again buy a major piece of furniture from this company - Ive spent a considerable amount of money and my experience has been absolutely awful. Save the agony and order from somewhere else.

Bought a bed for $1,500 and was given a shipping date. That came and went with no communication from West Elm. Called and was told that I should have gotten an e-mail. Went to the store and was told that it should be ready for scheduling - and to call and schedule. Furniture scheduling said the store was mistaken. Second delivery window came and went and still nothing. Called and they escalated it - yet then when I called back later after not being contacted, was told that the escalation was closed as resolved yet I never received a call or an email and there still wasnt an answer about where our bed is - so not sure how that is resolved. Horrible fulfillment service that passes customers around without ever answering questions.

So this review started out with me giving just one star. Ordered a bed three days ago. It hasn’t shipped yet. It’s on sale now, so I called to get the sales price. Was told we would have to cancel the order and then order again for the sales price. But, they can’t cancel the order until it ships. Then I would I have return it and pay a second round of shipping. You mean to tell me you can’t cancel an order that hasn’t even left your facility yet??? I was dumbfounded and upset. I posted a not so happy comment on the Facebook page. Someone reached out within a few hours to address my complaint and fix the issue. Sure, I would have preferred it have been fixed the first time, but the fact they made the effort to reach out way past business hours and rectify the situation goes a long way to restoring my customer loyalty.

Laurel was fantastic! Actually, everyone was. They were only open for appointments only, but let us in anyway...they LET US SHOP. I hate when stores have their employees hovering over me just to make a sale and ask 1000 questions after I mention Im just browsing. Laurel wasnt like that at all. She let us look around; and when we needed her, she was just a call away. Then, when we did make our purchase, she even came out and offered us all of the bubble wrap you could imagine to make sure our table and bench made it home safely! 😊

There was no one at the register so I patiently waited, when someone finally arrived the cashier completely looked past my wife and I and asked the woman behind us if she needed help so we walked out. How do they stay in business? Horrible customer service. Went in to look for a bistro table and two chairs. Found a table and two leather chairs and additional decorative items. While they had the chairs, they did not have the table, except for the display. I was willing to take display, but they have this silly policy not to sell displays. So they lost $1000 in sales because of this policy. The sales person said she could order online and it showed it could deliver in 3-5 days. I pressed her if this was real and she then said it might be possible it is on back order until end of November. And to top it off, the manager responsible came up to the register to help search for a bowl vs. focusing on a bigger sale. Now I am reading reviews online and BBB reviews....based on real life experience, stay away.

Ordered 2 dressers... with an initial delivery between 6-23 Dec... Now one of the them is at the delivery center but not the second one... They pushed back the whole delivery till the 28 Dec the earliest.... (maybe it will postpone again) We paid a fair amount for the delivery but their delivery service is not at all at the expected level.Never order from them if you can not bring the item yourself... paying that delivery amount is not worsted at all.

Please keep in mind when you buy a sofa from West Elm that if any of the cushion covers needs to be washed, and the zipper happens to break on that cover, that it will be the biggest nightmare youve ever had trying to request a replacement cover.I have gone around and around in circles for 5 weeks now explaining the situation over and over again with many people in the West Elm Customer Service team and different departments trying to get resolution of this issue...and still do not have a clear pathway to resolution. The Quality department has been completely a cluster.A bit more about our situation: We bought the Haven sectional sofa because the representative said it was a very durable fabric. She also said that if we needed to wash the cover ever that we would be able to very easily. So, we ended up getting a stain on the chaise slip cover and tried washing it as instructed. When we pulled it out of the washer, the zipper had broken...meaning we could not put the slip cover back on the chaise cusion. So, I call Customer Service, explain to them what happened and asked them if I could pay for a new slipcover. I was told that was not an option, that a request would need to be sent to the Quality department for a replacement. I received an email immediately from the Quality department requesting photos of the cushion and the broken zipper, which I provided. Weeks go by, no word. I then have to call back, explain the situation again, provide the request #, and was told it had not yet been processed. I call back 5 days later, same deal. I call back a week later and finally reach an individual who was very kind and allowed me to explain the situation...yet again...to her. She then described this very convoluted lengthy replacement process and said that while she apologized that was their process and we would need to continue waiting. Another week goes by. I call back. And this time I reach a lovely lady named Jessica who then all the sudden tells me that yes, in fact, it is an option to request a new skew number to see if a new slipcover is available, and if so well just order a new one. Another week goes by, without hearing from anyone. I then get out of the blue an email from the Quality department saying theyd like to schedule pickup of our existing chase cushion so that the zipper can be replaced...but this was not what we have ever asked for or wanted. What good would a fixed zipper be if the slip cover STILL has a stain on it? Not an option. So..I called back...yet again...and was then finally escalated to a Supervisor to see what options exist for me. I can tell you two options that are not acceptable: 1) buying another $4000 couch, 2) replacing this zipper and still having a stained cover.And while there have been some fine, friendly people on the other side of the phone during this process, NO ONE is truly helping me. 5 weeks since the original phone call....and 5 separate phone calls later...I still have no resolution. I get that West Elm makes their furniture custom made, which is why their replacement process exists...but seriously, this nightmare is not at all worth it. We have purchased over $8000 worth of furniture and items from West Elm in the last year and a half, but if this issue is not resolved I will never step foot into another West Elm store again, and will report them to the Better Business Bureau.

If you cannot purchase the item and physically take it out of the store, buyer beware!!!! We went in store to see fabric samples before we ordered a sofa offline. The lady at the store was very nice and promised us the world in customer service... we were concerned about shipping and damaged goods since items cannot be returned for full price if they do not work out. The lady promised us that it was West Elm employees that would deliver our sofa. We received delivery date and confirmation text and emails.The day of delivery, no phone call 30 minutes in advance, in fact, no delivery at all. The only numbers anyone could provide were 800 numbers to a call center in CA, MA, or NJ and nobody could reach any local HUB. After waiting four hours for a two hour time frame delivery, we had to leave the house for commitments, thirty minutes later, we get a call that the delivery guy is 30 minutes away... sorry, nope. I try to call his manager, who is on vacation (Im sure he planned giving me that number perfectly). Come to find out, the guy is a third party delivery company.... remember the woman told us ONLY West Elm employees delivered the product?The sofa then had to go back to the local warehouse, this was Saturday, its now Tuesday and the customer rep still says its not checked back in for us to TRY another delivery. Its a waste of West Elms customers time. I wouldnt purchase anything else from them unless you are a stay at home person who doesnt have to work or have other commitments in life because youll be waiting....Oh, and I still dont have the couch.

Worst customer service ever! Ordered a couch from them which they promised would be delivered in 2 to 4 weeks. Come to find out they had it back ordered for 9 weeks. This was shortened only because we called around to their warehouse to make sure that it was there. It was actually sitting there for 5 days and no one scanned it in. Decided to give them another chance and buy another couch from them. When we unwrapped the couch, it was the wrong piece. Came to talk to the manager and he basically laughed in our faces and said labor day weekend is really busy. Ill take care of it on Tuesday. All around disrespectful. I was told that it would be delivered in 2 weeks, but when they finally got around to ordering it they said they couldnt meet that promise and that it would actually be 4 weeks. Save yourself the trouble and buy from somewhere else.

The customer service at this location is not very good. The staff were all talking to each other and they seemed to be mildly phased/annoyed when we asked for help finding a rug. We had gone in multiple times over the past couple weeks and not a SINGLE time did an associate approach us and ask if we needed help. We were going to purchase more items as well but we didn’t really feel like supporting this location. If you want stuff from West Elm, order online or go to another location with better service.

We ordered a couch, waited 2 months for delivery. When we didnt hear from them we reached out and was told the couch was actually out of stock. This made us pretty upset. West Elm said if we picked out another couch they would ship it for free. We did. 14 weeks later our second couch still hadnt been delivered. When we called we were told that this couch was also out of stock. We have been waiting for a couch for almost 6 months!!!!! Im not even sure how something like this happens. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket. I would have left zero stars if google let me. The second time we called the customer service rep admitted West Elms shipping/logistics are terrible. Good Luck

I placed an order and it kept getting delayed. Once I learned the delays were kicked out again (4 months after the order date!) I canceled the order. I tried to work with them and see if they would just give me a discount but they said their policy is to consider discounts only after the delivery is complete. What a waste of time! Their shipping is so bad West Elm wont stay in business if it doesnt improve. The service in the store was fine but if you cant walk out of the store with your item my advice is to not order it!

Visited this store with my wife and we were ignored the whole time. When we made attempts to get help from the staff they pretended to be busy on their computers or phones.A couple of white women walked in and these same people dropped everything they were doing to assist them.So with that experience, we left. Oh and as we walked out the door not a word was said. Normally people get the Thank you for coming not this black couple.Message received West Elm. We can see why your store has poor ratings.

Beautiful and affordably priced, this store has a lot of cute furniture and accessories to decorate your home in style. I dont think the quality is the best, but it serves the purpose of having something chic without paying too much. Its definitely above Ikea furniture, but not as nice as Crate and Barrel.

We bought a table and eight chairs in mid October. We were told we would have everything within two weeks. We needed it all before Thanksgiving when we were hosting our families. A few days later all of the chairs were delivered. Within a few more days we were contacted to schedule delivery of the table which had to be put together by the delivery company. We were contacted before delivery and told that the table was damaged but they were ordering a new one and we would receive it within two weeks. After two weeks without hearing back, my husband called and was told that they spent that two weeks trying to repair the table which had a crushed corner. This was already irritating because we didnt purchase a damaged table...we paid full price for a new table. It was explained to West Elm at the time that we needed this table in time for Thanksgiving. We were told then they couldnt promise anything. We called back several times over the course of the next two weeks only to be told they were working on it. The week of Thanksgiving they called and told us the table was at a local warehouse but couldnt be delivered until after Thanksgiving. We asked if we could rent a truck and come get it. Nope. That isnt allowed. So, we received our table the following Tuesday after Thanksgiving. No apologies. Nothing. So, with that, my West Elm days are over.

After waiting for hours to speak to customer service, I found that they made a mistake by choosing to send me a gift card instead of refund. As of now, still no money back to my card. The few times Ive been helped by West Elm corporate or associates from other stores o have had a very positive experience. This particular West Elm has an associate, Greg, that seems to be lacking in common manners. He needs to be coached on the verbage someone expects when asking for assistance. Within 30 seconds of me informing him of what I was looking for, he told me absolutely not as if I were being scolded for inquiring about an item in a different length. My interaction with him did not last any longer than a minute because I was so taken aback by his tone and words. It seems as though any doing I have with this company will either be with corporate or send sales from other stores. The most valuable part of any business is a repeat customer who speaks highly of your company, the biggest detriment is the exact opposite.

Walked in with three very large William Sonoma shopping bags. Shopping bells should be ringing high alert at this point. The three young ladies at the door looked down at my bags and made eye contact, but said nothing. Store was empty of other guest walked the whole store. I reached the back of the store- looked over bedding and seating - where I lingered for a bit. Left the store and passed all three attendants with not a word of help or inquiry. Went to RH and spent XX,CXXX, because it was easy to have all my questions answered and finalize the sale process. I am excited about my RH purchases and will go back again, but not to West Elm.

Staffs are friendly and furnitures are modern, but the quality does not seem to be that great. (Our West Elm chair is also broken within one month..hmm.) The one star is for their furniture - look and design. Customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen. Have had to call in four times for same issue, still not resolved. Ever time I call I am on hold for 20-40min.

Keep your expectations for service low. In our last visit, we were not greeted or offered assistance despite agonizing over rug choices for quite a while. Couldnt help but notice that every white group that came in was greeted, it was that obvious. Hopefully it was just specific to the staff in that night.

Worst experience ever. I purchased a sectional in early June at the store. It’s now November and my sectional is still scheduled to be “built” when I look up my order online.Customer service has lied multiple times saying I will receive my sectional a couple weeks late (this was back in August on my first call. Then I called again to get an update in September, and then another one in October). Now every time I call questioning the delay, they blame it on the warehouse. They commit to reach out to the warehouse for more info but it’s never done - or as they say, they could not get ahold of anyone at the warehouse site.I usually don’t write bad reviews, but I want to make sure other people do not make the same mistake as I did. I had my worries due to covid and reading other reviews that my items would be delayed, however they reassured me it wouldn’t be the case, and that they have been doing really well on their supply chain side despite the pandemic. Well, that was a lie and I fell for it.When I expressed my frustration with friends, it turned out that they had similar experiences with West Elm even before the pandemic started. Therefore, do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing an item from them. You will be left frustrated and defeated. If it weren’t for my old couch, I would be left with nowhere to sit in my living room as I wait for the sectional.
