Edit cameI have been renting storage here since November 2017 and I love here. Its clean and neat. Easy to access. Storage has 24 hours entrance option. They have loading duck for truck which is perfect. They have pallet Jacks and bunch of carts. Its easy to move everything. Secure and camera everywhere. And last thing I really need to say this. Robert and Maxine. They are doing everything here. They are nice and cool. They are helping you perfectly and they are not doing just business. When you are here you can feel they are really friendly. I would definitely recommend here. Thank you guys.They are more than storage guys. I was here to open a new unit. They offered me a cup of coffee that was really nice. I Ive never seen like this hospitality. If you need storage around here. Do not go somewhere else. These guys are the best!

After 9 years, my business of selling, marketing and collecting Transformers toys with my website Seibertron.com finally outgrew the 10x30 unit I had at Safeguard Self Storage in Des Plaines, IL (and outgrew my basement too!).Over the years, many Safeguard employees helped me out or took the time to have friendly conversations. Some of the kind folks that worked there over my years that stood out were Brian, Jason, Maxine, Vern, Kristen, Gil and Robert. They always greeted me with a smile and a friendly attitude. With my almost daily visits to Safeguard, I felt like the employees there were more like co-workers with my small business. In addition, the facility itself was always well maintained and clean. I also received excellent customer service over the years.Over the past few years, Robert Klein really went beyond the call of duty. He does an outstanding job there managing the Des Plaines facility. What set Robert apart were our almost daily conversations about our families, work, lives, the Pandemic, buying a house, moving my business, his Karaoke side-business, and so on. We became friends over the past few years and Ill miss our conversations. Of special note was that Robert helped solve a problem I was having coordinating weekly COD deliveries from UPS by suggesting I re-route my packages to Safeguard instead of my house so that they could give UPS my COD and accept the package for me (a service Safeguard offers that was included with rent). He resolved a large problem for my business and I am very grateful for that. Wish I could still have my packages delivered there now that I moved out!I truly appreciated everything Safeguard and its employees did for me over the years, especially Robert. I highly recommend Safeguard Self Storage especially the Des Plaines location. I have found the managers and staff to very professional and helpful for many years. The facility is clean and comfortable. Moving company employees have even complimented the facility on two occasions. Robert the Manager and the staff members are terrific. I have visited other Safeguard locations and the employees have also been very professional. Theres no other place to go for storage.

Moving and storing personal stuff can be very frustrating experience. These are typically not kind of things most people are looking forward to. Luckily, Safeguard Self Storage made the last three months of my life very bearable by securing a convenient spot in the facility for my things I needed temporarily stored until my new place was ready to move into. Location is convenient and it is easy to access. Facility is fully air conditioned and it is safe because it required a key card to get in and out of. Staff is helpful and friendly and that includes all of them. If I needed to use storage facility again, it would be with Safeguard. I know that quality of service will be there.

This is the best Storage facility I’ve been to so far. Vern, will do everything he can to make sure your storage needs are met. I gotta tell ya, the cleanliness, organization, and customer service of this place is unmatched.

We used Safeguard when we were moving from one house to another. There was a delay in taking possession of our new house, so Safeguard arranged for us to use a second unit to store additional furniture, The storage facility is spotless, and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Experience with the company for an year was horrible. The stole money from my wife & I by charging misc. rates. The company has more than one person working at this facility that has no idea how to run a store. The DM or GM is an ass hole and has no respect for others nor his employees. The employees talk down upon their own manager and loves to throw them under the bus when it comes to who dropped the ball during particular incidents. They than had the nerve after they told me once I pay balance off In full11 they sent me a bill for $23 dollars, again after I talk to manager and staff and was told my balance is ZERO. Overall this place doesnt need to be running business, and extra space storage next door is the way to go if you want to conduct business the professional way. FYI... this location some how has people living inside their own storage. When this facility is supposed to be monitored with camera, and police official securing the area. (FALSE)I find it funny when posting this I would need to select an star Vs. in my eyes this company doesnt deserve to be open in life. 1/2 STAR if I had the choice

Lauren, Achille, and Brian do a remarkable job of managing the loading dock traffic and accommodating our ever-changing needs, with a professional attitude and a can-do spirit.
