Tyrone and Santos were awesome. Arrived in the scheduled time and started loading right away. I had some worries about moving from suburbs to the city but they assured me it wasnt going to be that bad. Great guys and really appreciate the work they did.

From their customer service to their movers, all around fantastic and professional! I had to push back my move time and they made it so easy. Informed me when the movers werent able to come at the scheduled time (the were stuck in the snow) and kept in contact with me throughout the whole move process. The movers were quick and friendly making the whole moving process easier.

David and Angel were phenomenal! I lived on a third floor walk up and moved to a second floor walk up. They worked hard to move me during a snowstorm with lots of heavy furniture. They were accommodating and communicative the whole time too. I highly recommend them!

Staff and Manager aren’t professional at all. Was almost fired by manager on the first day of being hired due to Manager misunderstanding a staff about me applying before and saying I’ve been there before. I told them exactly what I told the staff about me applying there before. Told me I was on closer supervision because I was lying (can’t believe that) Staff aren’t professional at all, staff interviewing me and others smoked his pen throughout the interview. 2 weeks later I was fired supposedly because I was called into work on a Friday which wasn’t true. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with these people, at least this location in des plaines, complete terrible. Even one of the drivers blamed me for a wall he damaged on a customer so he wouldn’t get it deducted off his check. (Blame it on me since I was new) From Manager to staff to employees not professional. Didn’t bother fighting about why I was fired, wasn’t worth my time.

Staff at the location is rude and very unprofessional (or maybe just a few bad apples). Take your business somewhere else.After conducting some business in their area, I decided to stop by and ask for a quote but I had never used their service before. When I walked in, a gentleman on the phone said hell be with me in a second. To be fair he seemed nice. After waiting at the receptionist desk for about 3-5 mins, a middle aged white male (poorly groomed, wearing glasses) shows up and asks if I am here for a job interview. I responded I needed to move and was in the area so I figured I stop by to get a quote. Having identified himself as the manager, he turned over to the polite gentleman on the phone and asks if they do in person quotes (Note: manager who doesnt know current business policies). Anyways, he then turns over to me and says, we only do online quotes, so Im going to ask you to leave. In disbelief, I asked why he had to be rude. He doubled down and everything went down hill from there. He clearly wasnt trained in customer relationship management and deescalation, so he cant and wont be an effective manager.Seconds later, another male get out from the same room the so called manager came from and yelled ...[] scram. Believe it or not this is true, it happened.Observation: Those rude individuals are clearly not the owners of that business. Any business owner trying to grow their business will NEVER treat a potential customer like that. I feel bad for the owners but they are responsible for their employees conduct and I hope they take corrective action.Knowing what I know, I will never use their services. Ill never encourage anyone I know (family, friends, acquaintances, children, future generations...) to do business with them. Ill gladly take $2,000 budgeted for the move somewhere else and I feel great about my decision to do so.

I had an incredible experience with Two Men and a Truck. My movers were Kevin and Dan and they were absolutely incredible! My moving window was from 8-9 load up the truck, 9-10 drive to location, and 10-11 unload the truck. They arrived at 745 and promptly loaded up the truck and was done unpacking at my new apartment at by 10! My couches are bigger than average and couldn’t fit through a traditional door and they took the time to break them down so they could fit and reassembled them for me. They were very transparent in pricing, expectations, etc. I will absolutely be using them again in the future!

My experience from getting the estimate to completing the move was great. The entire process was carefully explained and on moving day I didn’t have to worry about anything as Austin and Curtis took care of everything. They were fast and easy to work with. I reached out for an estimate over the weekend and got a lousy email from a representative to get my moving items instead of a phone call to go over an entire list of moving items. No care for new business what so ever, in fact I felt they purposely tried not to call me to avoid having to deal with customers over the phone. I went with another moving company because they CALLED and followed up. Dont hold your breath for a fast reply from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK DES PLAINES.

This was the single worst moving experience Ive ever had. The movers broke my tv stand, only halfway screwed together my bed frame so it almost fell apart, and couldnt get my couch in. I was assured the couch was covered under liability and was then told 2 days later by a manager that it wasnt. By that point my year old couch had sat in the rain and was ruined. I paid over $1400 for a move with an overnight hold. Absolutely terrible.

We were helping our daughter and son-in-law move into their new home. Because their lender botched the deal, they had to wait for 3 weeks to move into their new home. It was a very stressful day for them as the closing was delayed unnecessarily until about noon. When the 4 Men and 2 trucks arrived, we thought there was no way they could get everything done by evening, but these guys went to work in a no nonsense manner. They were efficient, extremely well organized AND friendly at the same time. They didn’t waste a step, walking with purpose and never slowed down. There were lots of steps to climb...but no complaints, no wasted time and no wasted effort. We tried to help where we could, but they left very little undone. We could not have been more impressed by young men who obviously took pride in their work. If I could give 6 stars I would! They helped to make a stressful day into an enjoyable experience for our kids moving into their forever home!Harold W.

Reggie and Zach moved furniture internally in two rooms. They were awesome. They were efficient and completed the job very quickly. I was surprised how fast they got all the furniture moved which included some large pieces. They were very courteous and professional.

Friendly and intelligent help at my original call in for information... all information that I sought readily supplied. Appointment made, confirmatory email, then phone call from truck crew, on-time arrival and just the right guys to do the actual moving. I could not have asked for a better fit for what we needed from this crew.

If only I could give zero stars. The movers were very polite and nice, however they were rushing to get started and finished so that led to some major issues. They packed our expensive flat screen but didnt use all the parts of the box, and when they brought it into the new house, one guys was carrying with his arms wrapped around the middle of the screen. Shocking that the tv is broken in the exact spot his arms were! The broke the leg off my antique china cabinet, left the table disassembled, and threw the leaves on top of my dining table leaving large scratches. Why go to the trouble of wrapping my furniture only to scratch it after its already moved. All this and they wouldnt wait for me to move my car out of the driveway, so now there are multiple small scratches on the side of my vehicle! The worst part is Taylor, the only person in the whole company who is responsible for claims (according to the csr). He doesnt answer his phone, is not personable and doesnt even pretend like you might have a valid claim of damage. They offered $125 for the china leg because we saw them do it. All other liability he claims we signed away by signing the paperwork. They never offered additional insurance and we never initialed or were told about the sections related to damage. But really who is going to not sign moving paperwork the day of your move with some of your items already on the truck. Stay away and do not deal with these shady, lazy businessmen. Their profit is clearly more important than the job people hire them to do.

Incredible customer service! Very much a local feel! You get the customer service of a family establishment and the work of one of the big guys. Tom was very helpful for me throughout the entire process and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend for a stress-free move!

The three movers sent out by Two Men and a Truck were all extremely conscientious and great about communicating with us. There were unexpected complications involving the move of a very large, older entertainment center, and although it was difficult to disassemble and move, the guys did everything they could to get it apart and move it without causing damage, and they were very patient through the process even though it took longer than expected. Upon arriving at the new house, the guys were great about positioning everything the exact way we wanted it. They even helped us rescue our cat, who had gotten stuck in a small space under a stair in the garage where we had moved our pets to during the move! To say that they went above and beyond our expectations is an understatement, and I would recommend this company to anyone looking for movers!

I was absolutely impressed with the Service, end-2-end. The online platform is very simple and intuitive, the phone support kicked in within 2 minutes from submitting the request, the actual move happened as scheduled (they actually arrived earlier), and the support during the move was perfect as well.It still remains a very expensive service, given that you pay for 1 (full day work) move as much as you make in a month of equal value work, but, given the stress free operation and the very careful handling of all your stuff, it is probably all worth it.

Great experience. Russell and Lorenzo were a huge help, super friendly, and communicative along the way. I was moving across the country and rented my own U-Haul which I’d be driving, and they gave extra attention to strapping down and securing every item. 5/5...would recommend.

I was impressed with the care that was taken to ensure that the furniture being moved was not damaged, and that the walls and entryways were not damaged in the moving process. The men made a plan before moving each piece of furniture, and then made sure to move slowly through tricky doorways. I had furniture moved from the first floor to the second floor of our house, and from the first floor to the basement. We estimated one hour and 15 minutes for the move, and they were done in 45 minutes. Our movers were Lorenzo, Gustavo, and Demetrius.

I moved out from condo to house and i hired Two Men and a Truck. The moving team arrived on time and was very polite and ready to move things out from my condo. I have them moving my piano, it was so badly handled that it does not work any more, all the keys are stuck and they still have not answer my claim regarding this situation. It is very frustrating because I hire a moving company because I wanted my piano to be safe, and now the complete opposite happened with it. Also, they have very bad service regarding claims, they don´t answer the phone or messages at all.I called the so many times, and is until now almost two months they tell me to called them, when I already called them so many times and their answer was that it was not their fault. I contact a piano specialist to check my piano, and he told me it was damage it has was done during the moving, probably because they did not handle it right.
