I have never done business with this store, but today I received an unsolicited text message from them with a link to their website and the suggestion that I should schedule an appointment in order to not waste my annual insurance or FSA. Thanks, but no. Not cool.

Dr. Lynn Durfee is outstanding! Went there for an emergency but will come back for my regular eye care just to work with him. The front office staff was great too! Dr. Durfee is that rare breed who provides outstanding service and wants to help you resolve your problem for as little money as possible. Told me how to get drops that normally cost $150 for $2.50. He also took the time to explain things so that I not only understood the problem but also how to resolve it. A+ experience

Great one stop for glasses and contacts. I have really great eye insurance, and my glasses were cheaper with their buy one get one than billing my insurance.Two pairs of glasses under $500 is a great deal. Much much more affordable than a major eye glasses retailer.Nice and knowledgeable staff who are great at helping with frame selection.

I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at this store! Not only did the optometrist make me feel comfortable, he also listened to my concerns and addressed them extremely professionally and explaining exactly what he does and why. After the exam, the customer service was amazing and Tricia helped me pick out a frame that was perfect for my face (and matched my style). The glasses were ready so quickly and again, the staff was amazing when I picked them up. I will never be going to another store!

This may be a rather plain looking store on the outside, but the customer service on the inside is very high end! Sun-Lee has helped me a number of times and always makes sure everything is perfect! She goes to great length to make sure you have the correct fit. The customer service is exceptional! I would never go anywhere else.

Look Optical has been great to our family we have been coming here for years just this past Saturday all five of us in our family Needed to get checked up three of us needed to glasses they told us it would take 3 to 5 business days. We are on Monday and they called us to let us know that our glasses are ready for pick up that’s super quick as they have their lab to do the glasses on site. From the doctor to all the staff they have all been great. I would recommend Look Optical to any family has their staff is great with kids and adults. Thank you everybody at Look Optical you are all great and you took care of us very well.Also they looked into our insurance to see what else was covered when you really don’t know what else is covered they do. My family and I will keep on coming to Look Optical for any needs we have and I know they wool take care of us very well.Thank U again to everybody Look Optical I really appreciate you.

The store is beyond phenomenal! Their customer service is like none Ive ever seen. My vision insurance can be difficult to deal with, they had problem stepping up and dealing with it and making the whole process smooth for me! Every time I go in its like Im visiting with family theyre always kind, caring, makes me feel like Im at home and they always have me laughing. If I could give them NO STARS, I would. Absolutely ridiculous! My hard contacts have broken twice in two years. So now that I am required to get an exam, it will be almost $300 to replace one contact and get the exam. Whats next? Another $300 in 14 months because another one breaks???? This shouldnt be happening.Both times I complained about this and they never did anything to help out. Obviously something is wrong with the quality of the contacts because I have been cleaning contacts every single day for 24 years and before this I had never had a contact break while cleaning them.If you need hard contacts, I highly recommend going anywhere else. This place is just stealing your money.

I have been coming here for years and always appreciate how welcoming and helpful the staff is. My optometrist makes me feel comfortable and always explains what he is doing to give me a heads up. Also, Louie (not sure if thats how you spell his name) is a sweetheart -hell even walk you to the door after youre done ordering your glasses.

Ive bought my glasses here for over 12 years. But under new management, the havent quite been the same.Back when the old doctor was there, they were awesome. That cant last forever; the old doctors been gone for many years. I just bought a new pair here, no problems, nice glasses.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My family and I have been coming here for years and I have recommended this place to my friends and other family members. They take appointments but are just as willing to accept walk in appts. We will continue to go to them for all our eye care needs.

Overall my visit wasnt horrible. The staff working up front were polite and courteous, but the doctor was a tad too coddling. Im 25 and find it rather off putting when Im being talked to as if I were a child. That being said he didnt seem intentionally rude and answered all my questions. If you dont mind being just another number this place is perfect, but if you want a more personal experience, there are better places.

This place is so bad! I got an exam then based on that prescription the made glasses. It was supposed to be buy one get a second pair free but suddenly, after they were made that offer didnt apply. THEN the glasses they provided were blurry. I could see better without them. I got another exam there and was told that my vision is fine and I dont need glasses. I had already paid (over $250) but they insisted NO REFUNDS. Dont go here!

This was my first time Visiting a Look Optical. I am so glad I chose the location on 44th Ave. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Miriam who was so kind, and super helpful! I was having some trouble choosing frames, and she helped with some great suggestions which I chose from. The service I received made me feel like it wasnt my first time visiting, the whole staff was great but Id really like to thank Miriam for putting in the extra effort and making it an awesome experience. Do not get fitted for contacts here. Went three times to get the prescription correct its still wrong. Wanted to buy glasses too, but prices were well over the competition and they wouldnt budge a dime. Never had this happen in 30 years of wearing lenses. Many better options in town, I only went here because it was near my business, probably should have tried Walmart across the street, but Im anti Walmart. Theres a great place on East Evans Ill be returning to the best place in town but far

I am not a client and just walked in hoping to buy nose pads for my worn out nose piece. Ana helped me right away and replaced both nose pieces and both frame screws - all very efficiently, kindly and FREE. What fine service!

Been going here a while. My insurance has never changed and this time they wanted to charge DOUBLE what we normally pay. We have excellent insurance and it covers the frames and contacts. So tell me why I get a hand written explanation of why they wanted to charge $35 for the one with glasses AND $85 for the one with contacts. Our copays are $10 exams and the frames and contacts are fully covered. Either someone is trying to pocket money or they are trying to make insurance holders pay for their new machine. Shame on you!!! Now I just called another eye doctor and Look Optical held my insurance so the new place couldn’t look it up until they released it. So I had to call and have them release it. Tell me why the new place I’m going with is only charging the $10 exams and a $30 contact fee and it’s located in The Highlands. Shame on Look Optical!! I will never go again!

The 1st day I came when I got my exam and picked out my frames was an OK day. Other than the fact I was lured in to buy 1 get 1 free, and then I paid for 2 full pairs and it wasnt adequately explain to me why. I ended up spending $400 for 2 pair of glasses with single lenses. They were done in 2 days instead of a week plus like I expected which is good. But when I went back to pick them up, I walked in the door and everyone was busy so I sat down. Then people just kept walking past me and helping people who came in after me. I went back to the desk and she said O sorry I thought you had been already been helped. Why you looked at me several times and nobody had been talking to me.Then she went to get my glasses and brought them to me. I had no personal adjustments made or offered. And when I told her my far vision glasses seem to make me very dizzy, I was told that I will just get over that. This was definitely not the best experience for the money by far. I will not be coming back next year And I am going to another Look Optical for my adjustments.

My family and I came in today as a walk in and the ladies were immediately welcoming and ready to help. My glasses were so badly damaged and margarita and Mariam were so kind to take their time and fix them for me this is a great office thank you guys.

ReceptionIst on the phone told me No, just come in and we can get you in pretty quick.Show up and receptionist there tells me Since you dont have an appointment itll be a long, 30-45 min, wait.I tell her I wouldve made an appointment had I been told theyd be a wait as it already took me 30-45 min just to drive over. Receptionist tells me Sorry, do you want to wait? Hell no, I dont want to wait thats why I called to see if there was a wait.No organization and the receptionist couldve handled it better. I have been to the Look Optical on University Blvd. before and they were great but I will be going elsewhere from here on out and will make sure to tell my acquaintances what happened and recommend they do the same.BYE LOOK OPTICAL! 👋

I went in as a walk-in on a saturday to get an eye exam for contacts and eyeglasses. I waited about 20 minutes. Not bad for a walk-in. They have a newer eye scanner that does not need to dilate your eyes. Which is awesome! The doctor takes him time with you and he gave me a lot of feedback through the exam. You can tell that he cares about his job and the people he sees. You can tell that its not just the money that he is trying to get. I have gone to LensCrafters in Cherry Creek mall and the eye doctor was not welcoming,interested nor explained nor spoke about anything to me. It was not a pleasant experience at Lenscrafters. My money is hard earned money and I like to go to places where I feel valued and were I know that my health is being taken care of seriously. Thats why I stick with this Look Optical. I felt like i left with all of my questions answered and cared about. The front desk ladies are welcoming and they also tried to get me a better bang for my buck. I was thankful that they explained to me a cheaper route of payment and the help they can provide. I honestly felt like everyone in that office was nice,welcoming,professional and caring. Thank you LookOptical on 44th for such an amazing experience. Also, my eyeglasses and contacts were ready fro me that same day!

To me this place doesnt even deserve the one star. Horrible costumer service my Dolce and Gabbana glasses broke after 2 and half months they did absolutely nothing to try and help me and instead wanted me to pay for a whole new pair. The frames are cheap material and really all you accomplish here is a waste of money time and effort would not recommend this place to any one!!

I called to reschedule my sons appointment was told to come in before330 and dr would see him got to office 239 pm and was told that basically i just wasted a trip coming across town were not taking walk ins who did you speak with? Didnt know it was going to be an issue if i wouldve been told that they couldnt see him i defiantly wouldve rescheduled rather than make a meaningless trip across town for nothing

This is the only place that I will ever get my contacts / glasses from. Trustworthy, always so professional and friendly, very affordable and even when they are super busy I always get fast, efficient service.

The store itself as soon as you walk in has a very peaceful, clean, and unique furniture set up.If you have medicaid, you get two glasses free (the second pair of glasses you can recieve in 3-4 weeks and the first pair only takes 3 days at the most) and contacts (about $30 side fee for the required contact application practice that they provide after your eye exam).All glasses come with a free case, glasses $129 and under are covered by medicaid (this location actually has a little more than three racks of free glasses to choose from), soft cleaning cloth, quick contact to alert you when your glasses are ready, and many other benefits when you use Look Opticals services.When I signed up, the process was really quick. I had moved from another county and they easily transfered my info. to their system. They checked my insurance for me when I didnt know whether it was valid and had signed me up to their location in 4 minutes from the second i walked in for a walk-in appointment. I was only in there for an hour and everyone showed positive attitudes and interest in getting the help I needed. Altogether, great service, kind staff, quiet and comfy interior, decent selection of cute glasses, and a very fast process that works well for people that have a tight schedule. I would also note that saturdays are the busiest and Thursdays, Mondays, and Fridays are usually when buisness calms down. Usually 10 A.M.- 1 A.M. is when their service speeds up (but, the service is pretty fast anyways) usually every day of the week! Long comment, I do realise, but I have had to wait 4 hours once in Aurora in a different location, but same establishment. I also know it can be hard finding what services are available when stuck on a low income so I hope this helps someone who can relate. Look Optical offers a lot, and even offers sales everyday for people with not so low incomes. Medicaid does not require any fees for walk-ins/appointments UNLESS you get contacts (mentioned earlier) or add ons. If you do select a pair(s) of glasses not covered by Medicaid, they will deduct $40 off the price(s) depending on the quantity you choose while there.
