One of the few eye clinics in the Highlands area that is open on Saturdays. My first time to this clinic. Very pleasant experience overall! Dr. Le was very thorough in examination and explanation. The front office staff, Victoriana, was also very courteous and helpful. They do not pressure you to purchase the glasses in the clinic. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Between Dr. Le and the rest of the staff, everything they do is great customer service! They are a great place to go; with some awesome lens options for sunglasses and clear lenses. Check them out for whatever you need!

Not too sure how or why, but while I attended that office the Doctor and an employee were just talking down on the Hispanic girls who work at the front desk. I’d rather not publicly post what they mentioned for confidentiality.I did however notice that they are billing inaccurately because - from the conversations I’ve heard and the way they act I can just tell they aren’t billing their customers correctly. She is probably billing the insurance wrong to get more money, what a SCAM!

I was really happy with this place!I was nervous to pick out glasses by myself because i really wanted some help but Leah made me very comfortable and made it a fun experience! Pair after pair we tried many glasses until we found the perfect fit! I was very thankful she was there to help me! It was a great experience and I will be coming here for my next pair and hope Leah will still be there to help again.

I had a great eye exam at Highlands Eyecare! Everyone here is friendly and explained steps of the exam clearly. They even took charge to sort out billing my (sometimes difficult) student insurance. Highly recommend!

My first appointment was so rushed that the doctor didn’t even update my contacts prescription. I had to go back to get a new prescription for my contacts and I felt like I was such an inconvenience because everything was blurry and seemed really frustrated. She ordered me a prescription for trials so I had to go back in for a 3rd time to pick them up. They also ended up being blurry so now I probably need to go back and have another exam which makes me worry the glasses I got aren’t as accurate as I thought.

Tried to slam me with a charge 3 months after my visit. Said they forgot to put it on the bill at the time but fail to realize how that effects my insurance. Was already thinking of changing doctors anyways. The doctor isnt very thorough and getting fitted for glasses felt like a chore.

This is the only doctor I see that never seems to be in a rush to finish up with me. Dr Le takes the time to get to know her patients, and she still manages to be prompt with her appointment times.

I was able to purchase my skiing prescription goggles at Highland’s Eyecare. Everything went smoothly. Mayra helped me out and I did everything over the phone since they had all of my information ready. I really enjoy my goggles and going to the office to purchase any new type of glasses. I highly recommend them! Great staff and great variety of glasses!

Exactly how youd like to be treated. My experience has been so excellent I had to share.I was seen promptly, things were explained clearly, the whole staff was fun and professional, and a non-standard request by me was met with exceptional accommodation. Im glad theyre in my neighborhood.

The front office staff has no Idea what theyre doing. their online appointment request process is relatively simple. when it came time to actually schedule an appointment over the phone the receptionist called me by the wrong patients name and even though I selected that I was using an FSA account to pay for the visit she requested my health insurance information anyway and would not schedule an appointment without it. after telling me that they did not accept that insurance I reminded her that I was intending to pay with my FSA card. I probably should have cut and run right there but I proceeded to go ahead with my appointment. the eye exam and negotiation for purchasing contacts and eyeglasses was relatively smooth we eventually came to an agreed upon price and I stated I would need an itemized receipt as I was using an FSA card and would have to submit it. I was assured that I would have a receipt emailed to my email address. and my contacts and glasses would be ready in 2-3 weeks. cut to a month later I had gotten my glasses but was still waiting on my contact lenses and receipt. when I called inquiring about the status of my contact lenses I was told that they were back ordered and would not come in for another month, i made plans to pick up an emergency pair of trial lenses. the next day I received a call that my original order was ready to be picked up. both on the phone call and when I picked up the contact lenses I was assured I would be emailed an itemized receipt. now 2 months later I call again intending to pick up a hard copy of the receipt and was told that I now had a balance of $125 for the original eye exam, when I questioned it i was told they would look into it and call me back. when they called me back an hour later they now stated that I owed $229 for the eye exam and eyeglass frames. I still havent received my original receipts but once I told them that I would not be paying a penny until I see an invoice I now have a bill in my email inbox. needless to say Ive already submitted a complaint to the Colorado division of the better business bureau and I would Highly recommend you go elsewhere for your eye care needs

I have been going here for several years and always gotten very good service. Never had a pair of glasses I actually liked wearing until I got one here. One of the staff called a week or so before my last scheduled appointment to let me know that shed run my insurance information and found I wasnt eligible for my annual exam until a few weeks later, so we rescheduled. Talk about proactive customer service! They are also generally very upfront about prices (for any extra tests not covered by insurance, etc.) and available options. I wish the final bill was as predictable and understandable for other health care services as it is here.

Great selection of frames. Easy to make an appointment online and did not need to wait for weeks to schedule an appointment. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Suzanne McClain took extra time to explain what the purpose and results of each of the exams were.

Close to work and hours work with my schedule. First time getting frames and due to my insurance having Davis Vision the selection was small. I also obtained a trial pair of contacts. Staff was friendly and they explained my insurance benefits in an adequate way.

I purchased glasses and my husband purchased both glasses and prescription sunglasses from them. My experience was okay but my husbands experience was terrible. He was pressured into getting an aggressive prescription for his sunglasses even though he told them they gave him a headache.After 2 screw-ups with his glasses (Ill spare you the details) we had to advocate for them to fix their mistakes and they were very unaccommodating and rude. The cherry on the cake was that the doctor came out of an appointment with my husband and complained about him in the waiting room to the other staff loud enough for everyone to hear (she didnt know I was his wife) simply because he was trying to get what we had paid for as a result of her mistake.These people are disorganized and very unprofessional. We wont be coming back.

I really wanted to like this place because of all the great reviews and close location to my house but after a years worth of poor experiences, I will be finding another eye doctor. Right off the bat the doctor didn’t listen to my concerns of blurry vision and needing an updated prescription for my contacts and glasses. I could no longer read street signs until I was passing them! But she dismissed me and said my vision hadn’t changed and further dismissed my questions as to why my vision was so bad if my rx hadn’t changed. I was actually in tears because I thought something was wrong with me. I then had to come back two months later and put my foot down, and tell them to recheck because I was sure (as a contact wearer for 12+ years) it wasn’t right. After doing another eye exam it turns out my eyes had changed by -.75. Which is a pretty big difference, so I don’t know how it wasn’t noticeable the first go around. She then had me try to different variations of prescriptions to make sure I didn’t step up too quickly. My rx was finalized 6 months after my original appointment. Now they are saying they only will honor my prescription until the date of the original appointment which is complete BS. So I paid to have this prescription to last less than a year due to their errors and refusal to hear my concerns in the first place. They didn’t charge me for my contact rx until after the second appointment. I think that is shady practice and I think they should have been upfront about the fact that they were charging me for a year long’s worth of an rx and only honoring it for half of the year.

Ill start by saying that I dont write reviews often and I prefer to only do it when I have experience exceptional service but Ive been thinking about this for the last 6 months or so and after today, its time. The staff here is very friendly and Dr. Le is very thorough and will listen to all of your concerns and work to get your script just right. Im not sure if my old eye doctor ever sent my records so she was very patient with me to ensure that I would be happy. Recently, she even called me personally to get a better understanding of my concerns with my current contacts. Unfortunately for the doctor, the customer service here is seriously lacking. I will say that Ive had many friendly conversations with ladies who work here. Trying to get my contacts just right has involved a number of trial pairs, one box order and then a request for another brand - as youd expect, Im in regular contact with the team during this process. But, while friendliness is not the issue, there are so many well call you tomorrow or well let you know when your contacts arrive that never happen and miscommunication/no communication between their team... or simply waiting 5 or 10 minutes to pick up an order that isnt in the pickup box, that they have to hunt down somewhere in the office even though they said they were ready to pick up. I would estimate that 80% of the time that they say theyll call me, I have to call them days later because I never heard from them. Ill talk to one person and when I call back to follow up or find out what is going on, the next person will ask me the same questions that I spent 15 or 20 minutes discussing with the last person I spoke with days before. Its so frustrating! When I went in today (Thursday) to pick up trials that I was told would be there last Saturday (but theyd call me when they arrived and didnt), the girl at the front asked me if the Dr. said I could have the trials because I would need an appointment for them. If that was the case, why was this never mentioned to me/scheduled when I ordered them? Or why didnt they call me to let me know they were in and ask to schedule an appointment to pick them up?? I would find a new eye doctor now but since I have to pay (with insurance) for the annual visit, Ill wait until the 1 year mark when my prescription expires... For the record, every single eye doctor Ive been with since I first got glasses/contacts 20 years ago has entailed 1 annual visit, a fitting/maybe 1 trial pair then a regular box shipment from 1800Contacts. Simple. So, if you want a quality doctor and need one simple visit per year, I recommend Highlands Eyecare. For me, Im looking for recommendations for eye doctors in the Wheat Ridge/Highlands neighborhood. On the bright side, Ive never been so motivated to get Lasik in my life.
