Very unprofessional. Was told to fill out a form online for my eye appointment which they provided a tablet for. But they do not even know the wifi password to even load the form??? Tried several attempts then had to refer to my own device. After trying to fill out the form, the manager informed me that we had to reschedule the appointment because it took too long to fill the form as if it was my fault that the staff did not know how to get onto the wifi nor had an alternative option such as a paper form that they could input the information onto their system afterwards. The lack of customer service at this location is embarrassing. Will not come back or recommend this location to any of my family and friends as they deserve better
Been going here for a couple years now to get my contacts refilled. I have no idea what all the negative reviews are about, but Ive had nothing but positive experiences here.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went there to get lenses for my frames over a month ago, and after calling for the last three weeks, they finally admitted they may have lost my frames. The last time I called, they assured me my frames weren’t lost and that they were just “processing.”when I originally called after the two weeks they were supposed to be ready, they told me the order was cancelled and the frames were being returned to them. Now I’m being told the frames were never returned to the store, and they don’t know where they are. They have never initiated communication with me, and supposedly they are talking to their manager to find my frames or likely offer me a store credit that won’t come close to making this right. I honestly had a bad feeling about this place, and now I know to always trust my intuition. This has been such a bad experience that I don’t even want to support Target in general.
Been going to this target for years always friendly and patient with me and clean. Also help me with any deals to help me with the price
A stellar experience! All of my concerns were answered, and even though I didnt have my prescription or insurance with me (my prescription had been done at another Target), Heather was able to find it, go through my options, and Im going to end up with a great pair of glasses!
The only reason I’m even giving this two stars is because the eye doctor is very competent.. the rest of the experience was very similar to what everyone else has said..grossly overpriced and completely incompetent staff. Rude to boot. I had a pair of frames that I like, so I just had target put new lenses in.. when I received my glasses, they were so bent that They wouldn’t stay on my face . When I asked if they could heat them up and reshape, they said I gave them to them in this condition and there was nothing they could do except try to bend the ear pieces.. I wore the glasses in there and they were fine. They came back from the lab so misshaped that they can’t be worn. I spent a lot of money for just one pair of lenses and can’t wear the glasses. They were so rude about it, too.. very accusatory.. my fault. Clearly. Anyway, I ended up taking my prescription elsewhere and my new glasses are great.. don’t use target optical..
Best place to get your glasses
They were awesome, knew how to adjust my glasses perfectly and they came so fast!
It was really good service. We liked how they treated us!
Gina gave us great service today. My family has purchased several pairs of glasses from this store and always been quite satisfied. Today we stopped by and Gina took the time to adjust both my and my wifes glasses. She even cleaned them for us. Very friendly and great service. Highly recommend!
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had! Dr. Tepliz is wonderful! She is positive and helpful and is a great doctor! However the staff there is just terrible. They have MIS-ORDERED my contacts so many times now that I’m forced to go elsewhere. (I’m talking more than 4 times!) The staff does nothing to help me. No one answers the phone, no one calls you back and they act annoyed if you stop by to check on your order. This place should not be allowed to operate as a medical practice.
This review is delayed however my great aunt wanted to express her feelings from this trouble experience.Let us start off with the good/ the employee looked like a man transforming into a beautiful women ^I am a trans myself^ Continuing on my aunty said the women was rude / kept coughing crazily with out disregard ^ mind you my aunt is a high risk^ Audily the glasses took double the estimated wait time
Very unprofessional told me about two weeks to received my glases and tock longer then expected, every time I would call to ask for a update they wouldn’t even know what to say about my glases they play with peoples money and glases yes after 3 weeks I got them only reason I got them was bc I visit the store in person to ask about it
I recently attempted to have an appointment at Target Optical in Northfield. I have been here over the years many times, taking both myself and my kids. I had an appointment today, I arrived at the appointment time, and when I went in I was asked if I had filled out the electronic paperwork. I said No, I did not see anything telling me to do that and besides I have been here many times, you should have my records and the very nice woman said, Well we are going all digital so you need to fill it out again and it takes people 10 minutes to fill it out, so we can reschedule your appointment to later today. To which I said, I cant do that, I am busy for the rest of the day. She was nice, but there was no discussion of figuring out how to make this work, just reschedule it. Now, we have all been to the eye doctor and you routinely wait for 10 minutes or more all through the process, this should have been solvable. It seems clear that their operation has so little slack in that they cant figure this out, and that their staff are not trained or encouraged to solve customer problems. If I have to fill out paperwork all over again Ill be going someplace else where they will get to know me, not lose my records, or waste my time, and be able to problem solve a customer needing a little extra time. I really liked the doctor here too, she is super competent, but their systems need a lot of improvement. What a bummer.
Awful experience! Avoid Target Optical at all costs. First, they grossly overcharged me AND my insurance for services and products I did not get. Then, my glasses werent measured properly, so they redid the measurements. Still couldnt see. So now theyre saying the Dr got my prescription wrong. Came back to return them and was told only the manager could handle a return and she was an hour late to work so we had to wait until she sauntered in, unconcerned that we were waiting for an hour. The employee in training who helped us was very friendly and said that the manager Heather is often late and her excuse is she was sitting in the parking lot playing games on her phone. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD.
The actual exam was excellent, but getting our glasses ordered and taken care of really upset me. At no time did they do anything to keep social distancing. Staff allowed kids, families and anyone walk around the store disregarding all signage about social distancing. At one point the young lady who helped us stopped to help 5 other customers leaving me angry that she wouldnt just finish with me. I wanted so badly to yell at her but my daughter said it best I just relax. Ultimately I asked if it was professional to treat customers like that and her words to me well I dont want them to wait in response I said, so that makes it okay to make me wait. Please I like this optical center please make sure you keep in mind that Covid-19 is still a problem, and customer service is still a best practice.
I recently scratched my Oakley lenses so I stopped by and the staff was extraordinarily insightful. After talking about my options Ill soon be ordering replacements.
Dr. Tepliz was very professional, patient and competent. This was a great experience and she did a good job.
My husband & I have Medicare without vision insurance but assisted me over & above to use AARP Eyemed to cover the cost of the vision exam. The tech, Gina, walked me through the steps toward obtaining a 7-digit number so I could get reimbursed for the eye exam; only paying for the retinal imaging which saved me over $100. The tech was on hold with multiple people to discover how to receive that reimbursement. Dr. Magina Tepliz, OD was very knowledgeable & thorough regarding the exam & findings. We have been attending this optical center for the past 8 years, getting our eye exams every 2 years. I have never had a bad experience here & have always been happy with both our frame options & quality of rx lenses, as well.
I just want to cancel my appointment. I cannot get any one to answer when I call. I have tried about 6 times, have asked for help from their customer service desk, no one is in the Optical office, even during open hours, there is no option to cancel an appointment in the online scheduling system. Also, I continue to receive notices about my appointment, with information to call and then there isnt a phone number listed. This is really poor customer service. I should have read these reviews before I even tried to get an appointment. Also, I didnt realize that this Doctor, Elina Davidoff, was in a Target store, OR I never would have booked an appointment in the first place. Awful.
When I did a walk in appointment everything was great. After that customer service was terrible. They do not answer the phone, Im saying two weeks of trying to call and then contacting target corporate.Get a copy of your prescription up front because they will not send it to you. I live 300 miles away and they told me to show up in person to get a copy. Joke.
Awful exployees awful experience huge waste of time and money!Used to go there for my frames lenses and rx sunglasses and kids glasses. Friday I showed up to get rx filled for daughters glasses, they looked up ins info, they said they needed rx faxed so I called Dr office and faxed, they kept saying they didnt get it, then co-worker said the fax was broken, this is after they refused to take it by email or other methods, so then after an hour of wasted time they said I could email I did that and they never responded back so cant fill rx. Today I came in for my eye exam they said was covered under insurance. They told me when I arrived after taking time off work after getting a sitter for child that I wasnt covered they could have called or.emailed but after the first bad exp thought they would do this to me next. The number to call for customer service has no one answering the direct number for store manager at other store is broken. There is no recourse no way to actually even fill prescription with such incompetent people. Actually it is completely impossible for me to buy the glasses for my daughter bc they have no way of getting prescription. Awful business model! Terrible people and no accountability no one will even follow up with me to even hear about these issues, target optical is a massive dumpster fire.Update:. They responded to this review saying they would follow up with the complaint I filed days ago, they did not it was just to look as if they care to unsuspecting readers or customers. They never followed up there is no way to reach out to any management or leadership. I tried to contact multiple members of management via LinkedIn and email as well as leaving messages. No one will respond no one there cares its owned by a company in itally with no humans to speak to when things go wrong. I was sent to a store in Arvada to try to fill my prescription last night and it was closed at 330, target employees said no one ever opened the optical dept that day period. This place is a disaster and the reply from the owner is deceptive they have my info if they wish to contact me and follow up on any of this and they have not.
Don’t expect customer service or knowledge of the company from their customer service reps. When I asked if I could use my insurance for just frames the woman told me no. She didn’t inquire or offer to double check, just flat no. After prodding she quickly asked another rep and then repeated no. I let her know I had purchased just frames for my daughter with insurance without a problem earlier that year. Undeterred she said well you can’t do that.So an hour later I purchased JUST frames with my insurance online through Target optical. Gone are the days of good customer service. Save yourself a headache and gas money and just buy online.
My relatives always came to target optical Not this one specifically but I recommend it to my girlfriend and she said that this large women working there was very rude to her for no apparent reason
I would give this place zero stars if I could. I placed an order on a pair of sunglasses and glasses back in November. The order (at first) came very quick - it took less than a week. Seemed great!I came in and put the glasses on and felt like I was under water and nauseated. I told the manager, Jacqueline, where she preceded to tell me that I just needed to get used to them. While she told me this, she bent my sunglasses (the other pair I ordered) so far back that the lens popped out of place and not able to be put back in place - without an apology, she told me I would need to reorder the sunglasses. As far as the pair of glasses, thank God the doctor overheard me - the glasses were NOT ones I needed to get used to, they were made wrong in the lab. The doctor gave me another check up and the order was wrong in the first place. Instead of Jacqueline being apologetic about the incident, she badmouthed the doctor with her coworker while I was sitting right there! Very unprofessional. I left empty handed on Black Friday with no glasses and two reorders (glasses and sunglasses) in.I waited a week and a half without hearing anything from Target, so I stopped by. Sabrina, tells me she doesnt see my order but will look. An hour later, she calls me saying she found them. I drive back there, only to find the order she was talking about wasnt even mine. The next day, I call, worried, that something was mixed up. Jacqueline answers the phone, and after she bad mouths and apologizes for, what seemed to imply, dumb Sabrina, saying she is new and doesnt know anything, she tells me that my glasses will not be ready until next Monday, that she has put in a rush order several times with the lab (I called another Target and they cannot actually do this over Christmas season - so she lied to me), and there is nothing she can do about it. I ask why she has not called or told me any of this and that its been a while since I ordered the glasses and feel that my time is wasted and I would have liked to know this information so I could make an informed decision as to what to do with my glasses. I explain further to her, that I am getting headaches and really need my glasses and would like to get them before I have to travel (in a couple weeks). All she says, with a very bad attitude, that I can always get a refund and continues to repeat this (in the same bad attitude and like a broken record) as I continue to try to speak with her. After the conversation, I (mistakenly) decide to wait the week for the Monday she says they will be there. I called Target, and Jacqueline, who copped an attitude the minute I told her my name, says they still arent there. Once again, after telling Jacqueline that I was told they would be there, she tells me there is nothing she can do about it and she reminds me how she offered a refund. I try to tell her how much I really need my glasses, and once again, all she tells me is that I can have a refund. I am now at the point where I need to travel Saturday and have no glasses to be able to see with and no time to order them from anywhere else - you would have thought 6 weeks of preparation would have been enough. Once again, after telling this to Jacqueline, I am met with apathy and attitude.I have never been met with such a paucity of compassion and professionalism and someone who couldnt care less about the well being of her customers vision or for repeating business for that matter. I hope no one else has to endure dealing with the fake, lying manager that works at this Target Optical. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGONY - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
How about you not change your patients appointments without their approval and maybe get a working phone number? Not a hard concept to grasp.I fly in from Oregon for my appointments and you doing that just lost you a 6 yr customer. 1/10
Fantastic staff and service. The optometrist took her time and was very consultative especially helping me to use contacts. For years i have struggled to put them in. She suggested monthlies instead of dailies. Problem solved. No other Dr suggested that. Michael in glass selection and fitting is the absolute best at customer service.
Honestly the worst service i’ve ever received
I always thought the scene in princess diaries where they force Mia to wear contacts was dramatic and unrealistic. To my shock and embarrassment at nearly 30 years old, it’s real. The staff was very patient with me as I struggled to put in my contacts for the first time. Bonus: it’s in target so if there’s ever a wait who cares because target will let you know of all the things you didn’t know you needed.
The staff was awsome and the Dr was very informative. I appreciate the extra time he spent with me.
This is my neighborhood target and sadly I have decided I have to find another place to go. Both times I have come in to schedule an appointment the young lady working there completely ignored me. Not even an acknowledgement. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. If I knew her name I would recommend letting her go.
DO NOT go here!!!!, the exam.was fine but getting glasses was terrible. The lenses were apparently back ordered and Target did not tell me this because they had already cut the lenses. It was 3 weeks after my appointment before I found out. The only way I found out was I called my Insurance to complain. Target didnt want to tell me because I would have picked new frames so they would have had to recut the lenses. I had to go to one hr optical to get my glasses done before I left on vacation. This all costed me an extra 300 dollars. The worst experience!!!!
I love it.
