I went to lenscrafters just recently and had a wonderful experience !! Dr. Hoover told me things about my eyes no ones ever told me. Ive gotten the most of my exams done throughmany military doctors and said nothing, with the new information that has been shared with me im taken alot more precautions. Ms. Sandra was also wonderful, working with my schedule on order to be seen with the fallow ups. I have been to this LensCrafters location two different times with lenses not purchased from here and have been given amazing customer service both times. The staff here is pleasant and knowledgeable. During this visit in particular, the manager Bret spent a lot of time and patience on helping me repair my glasses. He also gave me insight into the reason why I had broken two different pairs of glasses in the same way. I will be sure to use this location the next time I am shopping for frames!

I went to go pick up trial contacts, and the lady behind the counter was great! She gave me a bunch of samples eye drops, contact solution, and explained how to use them. I purchased new glasses in March, and the anti reflection coating is starting to come off. I didnt have a warrenty on them, but Tony the manager said he would replace the lenses for nothing. I would recommend LensCrafters at Cherry Creek mall.

While I was purchasing my glasses the customer service was top notch and I am very appreciative of the help I received. However, once my order had been placed their customer service turned rude. I did call before the 14-day mark to check on the status of my glasses because I was told by a service representative they may be completed early and that they may be in on Friday or Saturday since the lab was finishing up with them earlier in the week. (It is Monday) The two times Ive called early in the morning they have asked for my name and phone number and would call me back with the status and they never called me back. When I gave them another call they were incredibly rude on the phone. I get that you are busy but when I almost spend a thousand dollars on glasses here I expect to be talked to with respect.I will never be shopping at Lenscrafters gain.

I was fitted for Rx reading glasses at the very end of Dec 2020. The manager that helped me, Brett, was terrific, courteous, professional, kind and caring. The lenses were perfect, however after a few months the frames fell down on my checks and left indentions on my face. I took them back, hoping the frames could be adjusted and Brett did try to adjust them for a better fit, but mentioned my nose bridge was small and said I probably needed a childrens frame. He was very nice and helpful and said if I decided I needed new frames, he would replace at a discounted cost. The frames still werent fitting so I did return a few weeks later and met Tony, the assistant manager. WOW, what a nightmare! He was officious, arrogant, rude and clearly irritated that he had to speak with me. He never offered any solution, words of understanding, kindness or sympathy. He quickly walked away to call Brett and said Brett was not authorized to offer any solution after 30 days and there was nothing more he could do. When I tried to explain Brett had made the offer well past the 30 day period, he cut me off, sarcastically said Have a nice day turned his back on me and dismissively walked away. I called the store later to get his full name and determine if I could still purchase new frames and he quickly hung up the phone on me. I have NEVER written a bad review but this treatment was beyond belief. HIs behavior made a mockery of customer service; he is a disgraceful representative of the LensCrafters brand. What a disastrous experience, when my only request was to be fitted with the correct frames so that I could read properly without creating creases on my face.

The location at the Aurora Mall was awful the girl that checked me in and took some pictures of my eyes was so rude and seemed to be in a rush no customer service what so ever. I couldn’t even get my frames here because I felt very uncomfortable there. I went to the cherry creek location and immediately got help there for this girl working her name was Ashley she helped me choose frames and was very friendly and polite I took my time to make sure I had found the right frames and never felt rushed. Will definitely come back to the cherry creek location and not the Aurora Mall location.

I cancelled an appt with them after I realized it was not in my network coverage. They called me and said they were now taking United Health, I specifically asked are you sure? last time you made me pay for it and deal directly with the insurance. The woman on the phone said yes, since two weeks ago we now take it. I come in, get my eye exam and they charge me fully for the exam on my credit card. If it is hard to deal with insurance companies, it is harder when the provider gives you the wrong information and proceeds to charge you when you are there after the exam disregarding that you had called them twice to check they had good info. This was a small charge all things considered, but this is unprofessional and could put other people in a real financial distress over bad information or lack of care.

I was told it would be 7-10 days for my glasses. After 10 days, they said they were in their lab in Tx, and would be in Denver in two days. After two days, they said, oh, another three days, after those three days I was told, oh they are at our lab in Ohio, and it will be another week. Really? Dont go there. Costco is less expensive, and they stand by their word. If I had gone to Costco, I would have had my glasses over a week ago. As it is, Im still waiting for LensCrafters. Also, just saw the frames I bought there for $100 less on Amazon.

Fantastic experience at the Cherry Creek LensCrafters when I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses. Stephanie assisted me, answered all my questions, and did a great job making sure the measurements for my eyes were accurate. The glasses were ready in less than one week. The store manager, Bret, provided me with the glasses, adjusted them to make sure they fit perfectly, and gave info on care and maintenance. All around great experience with an awesome team.

Dr. Winnicks office made my daughter wait for half hour (30 minutes after the scheduled appointment) before being seen for contacts f/u, even though we came plenty early to her appointment. Then the front lady overcharged the contacts order. She reversed the payment, but since I was paying with FSA I had to wait over a week for the FSA account to credit back, I the meantime, the office wouldnt order the contacts even to keep there and for us to pay there upon arrival and when the credit was back in the FSA card. So, my daughter is out of contacts, not because our fault, but because of their fault... and all the extra time you wait pass the appointment time is on you for the parking fee. They dont validate parking.

I was convinced to purchase new frames only to be told they do not have time to put my old lenses in them because it was time to clock out. The lenses were the same fit for the new frames. I had to go to another location where they did it with no hassle. I highly do not recommend this location due to this situation, the unprofessional, and inconvenience they will cause.

Very poor customer service. They called me at 6:45pm the day before my appointment (mind you after I’ve booked all week AND called them two days earlier to confirm my appointment) to tell me that they need my credit card to hold my appointment. Excuse me?I was fine with that but told the lady on the phone that I don’t give CC information over the phone but would gladly do it online and she told me that they don’t even do that. It’s the 21st century...if you β€œneed” a CC to hold the appointment you should offer that functionality on your website when people first book.I’ll gladly take my eye exams to Visionworks. It costs less than the $112 eye exam anyways for those of you struggling during Covid times.(UPDATE:I beat them to the generic β€œwe’re sorry” email they’ve been sending everybody and this is the even more generic response I got from Customer Service:Thank you for contacting LensCrafters!We have received your care form and we are so sorry for your experience. The Doctors in the store locations are Independent Doctors of Optometry that are not employed by us and sublease their space from the store. While the sales team was great, the management team would not read over my file or return phone calls. In fact they asked me to purchase new glasses after their team broke my frames and the lenses were brand new. On top of that the replacement glasses arrived without anyone calling me. I called and a sales associate told me the manager would be calling me to explain the situation. The worst!!! They canceled my appointment. I showed up and they were completely nonchalant even though I had an appointment confirmation. I showed them the confirmation and the response was β€œtoo bad, we can reschedule you”.The store was too crowded and NOT following covid protocols. The store is in the mall and mall was a complete cluster as well.I touched a few frames on the way out and nobody wiped them (or even noticed I was touching them). Jessica was my Optician last year and she was great! So nice, friendly and fast. This year I called and made an appointment on a Monday to come in the following Thursday. Im driving home on Wednesday at 515PM...the day before my appointment when they call asking for a credit card to hold the appointment. They shouldve asked for one when I booked. Needless to say, I wouldnt pull over and give them one and they close at 6PM. This morning I called to give my credit card and they gave away my appointment. The manager that I spoke with said she could careless and that they dont need my business. I asked if the old optician that I saw was still there and she said no. Now I know why this particular Lens Crafters is being run so poorly. Id make an appointment at a neighboring store if you could and avoid this mess of an operation.

I went for a complete eye exam and I caught a virus/ cold. I have not been sick with anything since March, as Ive been following the Covid-19 protocol to the letter.Before I had the exam with the doctor, a tech had me do 4 tests on 4 different machines. She didnt wipe them in front of me nor did she tell me they were sterilized. I went into the exam room just across the hall and did not observe her cleaning the equipment.During the exam with the doctor, who seemed knowledgeable and competent, did not wipe the two pieces of equipment in my presence.Everyone in the store that I encountered had masks on and hand sanitizer.Its four days later and several rounds of megadose vitamin C, Im grateful I dont have Covid-19.It seems they did the bare minimum required of them. If you visit, I would ask them to wipe the equipment while you watch.

Pretty disappointed as I booked an appointment online on my day off...I put a random number as I dont like giving my number out online. I showed up and was abruptly & rudely greeted by the manager, Lassandra I think her name is, to tell me they tried calling that number 7 times but couldnt get ahold of me as it was a random number. Their protocol when this happens is to pull appointments off the books (didnt see this practice denoted on the website) and they didnt think to look up my name as I had been in before. Years ago, but still there could have been a small issue resolved. I had to rebook and ended up canceling as I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bummer the customer service was lacking and if this situation was addressed in a much less accusatory manner I would have been just fine with it. Maybe she was having a bad day, but still no way to treat potential customer.

I work for Luxottica and this Lenscrafters location has a lot of work to do in training their employees in customer service. Theie new COVID-19 policy is to take a card over the phone when you book an appointment because people havent been dousing up for their appointments. Someone called after I booked online and I explained my debit card has been hacked 3 times in the last year and Im not passing out the number to anyone. They cancelled my appointment and I didnt know until later that evening. They didnt call for that, they emailed. πŸ™„ I made another appointment for the Park Meadows location. No card needed.

This review is for the optometrist office located in the Lenscrafters. I have gone there several years now and have never missed an appointment. I really liked them up until now. This year I got a called from some random number saying that if I dont give them my credit card number over phone, they were going to cancel my appointment. The woman was very pushy to get my card number. I told her I was planning on going to the appointment, but I never give my credit card number over the phone. This felt very sketchy to me. They then called me another day and asked again. I said no this time as well. They asked me to go down there to give them my credit card in person. I explained that I have a one year old, and Im not about to take him to the mall during a pandemic! They would not budge. They then canceled my appointment. I will be finding a new optometrist. I have to say that I did not set out to purchase glasses from LensCrafters. I was actually in the mall to see and purchase frames I found online at Warby Parker. I made sure they were in stock before I went but when I got there I was greeted by a barrier across the door and a representative who advised me there would be at least a 20 minute wait to enter the store. He was not pleasant and very much made me feel that my business didnt matter. I was extremely annoyed and wrote off Warby Parker immediately. On the way back to the parking structure I walked past LensCrafters and the store looked inviting so I thought I would check it out. There was a sign at the entrance asking customers to wait for a representative but the minute I came to the entrance I was immediately noticed, greeted with a happy smile and escorted in to begin my purchasing journey.With COVID a concern I found the store super prepared with a process in place to allow me to try on frames without a concern for my safety or the next patrons who may want to try on the same frames and social distancing that was on point. Impressive! I also noticed that when the store had reached capacity customers were still greeted warmly at the door and made to feel that their business was important.Carlos my sales rep went above and beyond in assisting me to find just the right frames. I explained things I liked and things I didnt and he made selections for me that were exactly what I asked for while taking into consideration lens size to ensure best results for my progressive lenses. He walked me through every option, including advantages of the additional protection plan and never pressured me to purchase once. I was so impressed with his exceptional customer service, the 30-day happiness guarantee, and the evergreen aftercare that I purchased on the spot - it was absolutely a WIN-WIN. Five stars to Carlos for ROCK STAR customer service! By the way, the entire staff gave off a very happy vibe and provided great and honest feedback (both positive and negative) throughout the process... I felt truly valued as a customer.To think I was about to return home with no glasses and upset that I had wasted a trip and would have to start over in my search... $50 charge for the 1st reschedule of an appointment with 5 hours notice is a great way to make $50 and lose $1000, brilliant business model. I was not told this at the time of booking and they wouldnt even offer a credit for the charge to a future purchase.

UPDATE so I responded to the link the owner provided below. I have now been passed around three times without any resolution. All I want is to see my eye doctor and get a new prescription and lenses without leaving my credit card over the phone. Is that too much to ask?I have been a patient at this location for over 10 years. This morning I called to make an appointment for next week, went through the pre screening. Insurance, et cetera and then was denied service because I would not give them a credit card number. Who does that during these stressful times? Penalizing a patient relationship because others havent shown up for an appointment certainly isnt professional. I have no other medical professionals requiring such a thing. So disappointed. Hate changing doctors but sadly will do so now. Identity theft is too big a risk.

Worst experience I’ve had at a retail store in a very long time.I’ve been doing my eye exams and buying designer glasses at LensCrafters at Cherry Creek Mall since I moved to Denver in 2006.My last pair of progressive lens prescription glasses, bought in May of 2017, had defective anti-reflective coating; even the associate that looked at it said so, 6 months after I bought the glasses, but they couldn’t do anything about it because I hadn’t bought the protection plan, which I’m sure is a high source of revenue for the company.2 weeks ago, stupid me, went back and had another eye exam there and bought contacts.Today I went back still another time, which was my last day to use my VSP benefits.I picked another pair of glasses which had a $270 price tag. With the lenses, I’m sure it would have added up to over $500.I brought up the issue I had with the last pair and asked the assistant manager to put a note on my file that if that happened again they’d replace the lenses. He said the only way to get coverage was pay for the protection plan. Said it’s β€œcompany’s policy” and that employees that made exceptions to that policy lost their jobs.I think LensCrafters missed the customer centric conversation and has not read anything about the future of retail stores that don’t have a strategy to retain and attract customers.With all of the companies out there that will ship frames to customers for them to pick in the convenience of their homes, how long do they think stupid customers like me will continue to go to their stores just to be abused by their β€œcorporate policy”?I hope they go down a lot faster than it will take them to revise their policy and stand by the products they sell and their commitment to customer service.

I have been to seven other eyeglass stores, but got the best service and prices and a wonderful sales person! She was friendly funny and I would definitely come back again and recommend the store!
