First time in, ordered a latte and pumpkin loaf and it was great. Way better than the mermaid corporation... Will be going back.

First time customers on a Friday around 10am. Parking can be challenging due to being in plaza. Wasnt crowded at all very clean inside. They offer coffee, non-dairy options, smoothies, sandwiches and dessert. I got the Matcha Green tea latte with coconut milk no ice and it come up to around $6 the drink was okay not enough matcha too much milk. They have vegan options as far as drinks not sure about food.

Cool! Not packed like Starbucks. Coffee good too. Nice place to work if need be or just chill.

This review is for the Denver airport location as that option is not available or showing in maps. The first picture is the “nitro cold brew” i received, the second picture is from the website. i asked the male barista several times if he was sure he gave me nitro cold brew and he insisted that he watched the other worder pour the nitro, implying that she wasnt lying. i wasnt sayjng that she was lying but the whole point of cold brew nitro is for the drink to have a smooth mouthfeel and my drink didnt look anything like a nitro. i showed the barista the website with their own coldbrew and showed the one in front of him and he said he was a trained barista so he knows what a nitro cold looks like. i think this company really needsto get a quality assurance check at this location as this man has not been trained properly and unfortunately, the coffee tasted burnt and old, indicating beans that are not fresh or too heavily roasted.

All they had was medium roast and normally it is great. This time the coffee was definitely burnt!I hope this isnt a trend. Last time all they had was medium roast. It was questionable. Tasted more like a dark roast. I may need to introduce their roast to an expert in the field.Service has always been top notch though.Menu needs updating. I understand they are updating it. I just hope get it up soon. Worrying if the menu colors and images matter less than the customer experience. At least provide a print out for your customers to view. It doesnt make any sense to hide the price of your food and other items from your customers.

Wonderful, one source coffee and beautiful little place!

First and last time coming here! The so called “manager” had a very rude attitude. I asked for extra cream after my coffee was already made. Since I was a first time customer I was not aware a splash or cream was an extra charge & I had no problem paying for it but instead of her letting me know she decided to be rude about it and started an argument. Not to mention the clerk had a bad attitude as well.

Got to the store at 2:00 pm. They were out of coffee. Go figure. Only coffee shop I’ve ever been to that was out of coffee.

Wonderful local place with amazing coffee!

Excellent tasting and strong coffee. One of my favorites.My only complaint and reason for less than 5 stars is the hours are constantly changing and the store is closing a lot earlier than they used to a few years back when they opened. I used to come in at around 7:00 PM about once per week and that is no longer an option. Then I used to come in around 6:00 PM and now that is also no longer an option.

Gotta love your morning coffee, and Kabod really delivered. I ordered an amazing cinnamon dolce latte, and started my day off right. Be sure to pay them a visit!

Their coffee is soooooo good! They have some yummy treats to eat too! Stop in and get your caffeine fix you wont be disappointed!

Good coffee, friendly staff - but they need more than one person working in the morning. She had to take everyones orders, prepare the food, and make the drinks, which made service slow.

Ernest at Denver Airport was so rude and obnoxious. He blew a kiss at me after his terrible service.:-( I understand the help is hard to get but Ernest didn’t even try, he was just rude. Can’t you do better?

The menu prices didn’t reflect what I was charged. When I brought it up they said that the boss hadn’t changed the menu prices but had changed the prices in their system. They apologized but wouldn’t give a refund or anything. The coffee was good but it was frustrating to get charged more than what the menu said.

Excellent coffee shop in the heart of Northfield/Stapleton. Worth the drive to get the best cup of coffee in our area. They offer a wide variety of coffees and goodies. I tried a dessert and it was off the charts delicious. No Decaf here, this is all responsibly sourced coffee from Ethiopia. My new goto coffee shop.

Nitro cold brew is on the darker side and really good. However, service was extraordinarily slow (waited about 15 minutes for only a coffee).

The staff was amazing when I stopped by! They were extremely friendly and helped me choose a coffee. They have breakfast sandwiches and other items that you can grab on the go. They have made adjustments inside to help limit and increase space between people. I appreciate the PPW and additional safety measures they are taking during these times. Plus they are a black owned small business! I will definitely keep coming by whenever Im in the area.

Solid neighborhood coffee shop! Clean & friendly with coffee flavor that easily surpasses national chains.

The place is cozy and smells a lot like roasted coffee. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The taste of the coffees has a strong kick to it but a sugary aftertaste. Id love it if they had some options with less sugar or theyd let you choose if you want the beverage to be more bitter than sweet. Other than that this one location has become my new favorite coffee place in the city.

Coffee is amazing it’s the customer service and wait time that drags the entire place down. Waited 20 min for a basic latte while everyone who came in behind me got their drinks and left. It’s seams the staff knows the regulars and will make their drinks fast and get them out fast and if your not a regular you stand and wait 20 minutes to receive the wrong drink. Staff was not going in order at all for in which people came in and ordered. The staff just makes their favorite drinks and left the not so favorites in the background. After waiting 30 min for my latte, she says she will refund my money. Never got my money back or the latte. Called management and they blamed in on a new staff member. Well where is the manager around here to train and issue refunds or free drink cards if their is a mix up. It’s really so sad because the coffee source and the tea selection is the only thing they have going for them, sure wish they would get their staffing together and management shows up for every so often.

Fabulous coffee! Organic and from single source small farm. From farm to cup without blending with other beans. Roasted in Denver so you are helping the small farmer and local business.Great design inside and the cups for purchase look great too.

One star is an understatement. Danielle was rude and burnt my food then refused to give the owner information. She was yelling at me and acted like she owned the place. My food is SOOOOOOOOOOO HARD that it feels like a frisby. She tried arguing with me like that was a good idea. Lazy and ignorant at this restaurant.

Eh. I got a white chocolate raspberry iced coffee at the suggestion of the barista. It tasted like dirt initially but I thought that maybe i would get used to the flavor. I took a couple of sips and couldnt do it. $7 coffee in the trash. Maybe the other flavors are better but that one was absolutely horrible.

Try their white chocolate raspberry latte! Yummy! Great staff. First time visit for me. They made me feel so welcome. Wont be my last visit, for sure!

I hadn’t heard of this place but I saw it when I was next door and stopped in. The place was so nice and clean and decorated really cool. Johnny and Julie both helped me out, recommending things, telling me about the shop, etc. I almost ordered two drinks because they both sounded so good, but that just means I have to come back soon to try the blackberry iced tea. They have organic and gluten free stuff...I got a smoothie and a piece of banana bread and both were delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

As a delivery driver who came to pick up an order. I give 1 star. The chic working there basically pushed me behind all other orders when she hands me the wrong order and tells me that its my fault. How is it my fault. I gave you my customer name and you hand me the wrong order and then say you will have to Wait ....REALLY?!! no I can just refuse the order and give your establishment a bad review. Good day!

Ummm not really a Fan

I came in having never been here. I was greeted immediately (granted they were not busy). The food was very tasty and I asked for a suggested coffee called a caramel riser and it was delicious . The place was very clean and nicely decorated! free wifi also . Thanks a lot!

I got the speciality iced mocha (I forget what they call it), and it was the best mocha I’ve ever had! The perfect mixture of chocolate and coffee. Will be going back for sure. Also, very cute and aesthetically pleasing place with lots of room and seating (when seating reopens!). Very clean as well.

This coffee shop is exactly what this area needed. A great alternative to the Big Chain coffee shops down the road.Delicious, ethically sourced, organic, locally roasted coffee. Its rare to find a local coffee spot that only serves single-source organic coffee...I have tried the caramel and the mocha so far and the flavors are rich without being too sweet and without the bitter aftertaste. Kabod is by far the best in the area with a very relaxed neighborhood shop feel.

The best coffee ever

Atmosphere was quiet and mellow. It was very clean and the breakfast sandwiches tasted delicious. My husband has an Americano that had a rich flavor without a bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable experience.

Found this place while looking around the area. Stopped in and was very impressed with the cleanliness. Coffee was amazing, but that crumb cake was to die for!!!! Will be back!!

Although I enjoy the chai, $.90 for coconut milk is insane.

Plenty of free parking and free WiFi. Ethiopian coffee beans for sale. Caramel Macchiato was slightly strong until everything was mixed and incorporated. Organic chai tea latte was a bit on the weak side but was delicious.

Delicious coffee that doesnt have that burnt-tasting, acidic flavor like those popular coffee places, and decent pastries (cake samples they had out were tasty), relaxing atmosphere.This reminds me of a a small town coffee shop I used to go to in Massachusetts that used to have live local musicians (acoustic guitar) on the weekends. Maybe the owner could add this perk? The artist could set up in the front corner where the orange chairs are. The furniture would have to be moved around a bit to accompany something like this, but it was so nice and drew in many local customers. I miss going there, but am happy Kabod has moved to Stapleton. Im sitting here now enjoying my caramel latte as I type this...ahhhhhh!

Best mocha latte Ive ever had

Fabulous atmosphere, incredibly friendly and humble owner, young and friendly staff, an overall great local business that also supports other local businesses! They get their baked goods from a delicious Greek bakery off Colfax (the honey cookies and braid are amaaazing. My 6 year old loves their cakes as well, and my 2 year old loves that they have other things like Yogurt) and their sandwiches, paninis, oatmeal come from a local business in Englewood. Ive loved supporting this small, locally owned business since discovering they were open about 2 weeks ago! My mouth waters as I step in and smell the coffee, which I know will be so dang good!

Finishing up my servsafe at Sysco and stumbled upon this new coffee shop. I highly recommend it! Mom and pop shop and much better than that corporate coffee on every corner. If you ever find yourself on this side of town picking up a will call from Sysco or just in the area, check this place out, I think you’ll like it!
