The interior of Corvus Coffee is really nice and has a modern industrial feel. It seems like a pleasant place to spend an afternoon working or catching up with a friend.I popped in for a quick latte with my girlfriend. We were met by chipper, upbeat staff who quickly took our order. The lattes were smooth and well-balanced. They were a bit too caffeinated for my taste, and I got anxious jitters not long after (but I’m also not a huge coffee drinker). It’s a solid spot for coffee, but I suppose I wasn’t wowed or anything.

Very nice atmosphere. The chai tea lattes are delicious and their pumpkin muffins are good as well. There is a very cool cold brew stand (pictured) that shows their cold brew method and explains a little about it as well. Its entertaining to just enjoy my food and watch the cold brew slowly accumulate. Prices are also reasonable for a small coffee roasting company. I highly recommend!

I love their club sandwich here, and I will for the most part drive out of my way of getting one. They additionally have an incredible choice of lunch things, smoothies, and obviously, espresso. This is a little bistro that offers open air seating and incredible assistance. In any case, I would enthusiastically prescribe going to this spot for lunch or espresso.

We stopped in for a quick espresso since this place was highly recommended. The espresso comes out on a board with some sparkling water, making a nice presentation. The espresso itself was acidic, which is the current trend but not my preferred type of espresso.

Good tasting vanilla latte. Super busy even at 10:15 on a Wednesday but I didn’t wait more than five minutes for my coffee. Lots of seating but somewhat noisy so I don’t think I’ll make this a study spot of mine, but the overall aesthetic is great. Not sure if all lattes are made like that but mine has black dots everywhere which is grounds I’m assuming. No texture to them, just kind of off. Would still recommend!

Great cold coffees (Kyoto style) and small selection of pastries. Best thing was the absolute nicest baristas and nice lighting and vibe. Good m&m cookies, too

Usually I ask for recommendations at a coffee shop out of curiosity and ended up ordering a latte anyway. Thats not the case today at Corvus, because I was totally sold on Cascara Basil Tonic by the barista. It feels the perfect drink for a sunny afternoon like today. Bubbly, a bit sweet, still caffeinated but not too much, I am instantly a fan after one sip.Lovely coffee shop with plenty of seatings both inside and outside. The glasses look really dark from the outside but they are open!

These folks know coffee. Like an artform. Ive been twice. Got a latte with cream both times. My palette wasnt prepared for the taste the first time, kind of like that first time you try a really good whiskey or beer. The second time, I was much more prepared to enjoy the wonderful, complex flavors in my cup. Got a bag of beans to take home. If you have questions, The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Only the ambiance is lacking, particularly for the outdoor seating. But if youre looking for excellent coffee, this is the place.

I was excited to try this place then was very let down. My friend and I got two of the Kyoto drinks to try and neither of us liked either drink. They also forgot my order but made my friend’s. Not sure how that happened since we paid together. The furnishings inside are also very sparse and the only chairs or stools to sit on are the cheap metal ones, so it’s definitely not a place that I’d want to spend a long time at. I would go and try another drink to see if it’s just what I ordered, but with the prices, the lack of anywhere to sit and relax, and the fact that they didn’t seem too concerned about missing my drink, I’ll just look for somewhere else next time I’m in the area.

Not my favorite expresso, a bit to expensive, a bit too crowded for me, and not the friendliest staff (or just too busy?)My espresso was green or acidic or something, idk the coffee term, but more modern and less italian style, which I didnt really like. That was their standard bean mix, which was already over 4$ for a shot so I didnt want to pay more to try a different bean. Also, I didnt specify for here or to go, and wasnt asked, but recieved mine in a to-go paper cup even though I planned to stay and work with my laptop there for a bit. So I felt bad wasting a stir (cause no spoon) and paper cup. Also no sparkling water for me :-(. I went here to:(1) do some work, but theres a 2-hour wifi limit, and it was a bit crowded and loud - hard to find a seat and too loud to make or take calls.(2) test their beans to see if I wanted to buy some for my home setup. Did not like the taste, and also they beans were a tad bit $$$ (18$ I think? Cant remember)(3) talk to their baristas about the different beans they offered. But it was too busy, and the person taking my order didnt seem into talking about their different beans and stuff... which was sad to a newly-rabbit-holed expresso enthusiast.

Great atmosphere. Delicious coffee. Super friendly staff. Love the pictures of the farmers from each region their coffee is farmed. This location I was told is the original Corvus shop. The roaster the owner started out with is there as well. They have a painting here of a raven with a herder and his goats which is how Corvus got their name. Corvus translated is raven. I was told the story goes, when a raven finds food, he does not hoard it, but he shares it. So with this herder, the raven showed him where the coffee berries were for his goats. I probably totally botched it, but I love the story and how they incorporate it in the design of their facilities and merchandise. Corvus seems to take this same raven mentality in sharing what is good.We will definitely be back for the awesome coffee and friendly atmosphere.

I first ordered a latte and it was very thin. I asked to please remake it with more of a foam head. The barista said they only use microfoam (which I already know). She then said she could make it more like Starbucks, at which point I replied that I didnt know what that would be like since I havent been to Starbucks for over ten years. The remake had a huge foam ball with big air bubbles and was very disappointing. I visit the Wadsworth & Bowles location almost every day and it is very consistent. I thought this location would be good too, but unfortunately not. Dont assume people just go to Starbucks; I dont. I only frequent local craft shops.

I liked this coffee shop! The vibe is extremely chill and the color scheme of the coffee shop is very well done. The employees were friendly despite it being a very busy morning for them. My only complaint about this coffee shop is that I ordered an iced oat milk vanilla latte and it was close to $9, which is considerably more expensive than any other coffee shop I have been to in the Denver area. I will preface this by saying the americanos and lattes are good here. The prices, however, have become outrageous, and are the reason I won’t come anymore. I’ve always tried to support local coffee shops, but they implemented another price increase recently. I paid almost $8 for a basic 16 oz oat milk latte, and they always seem to expect you to add tip, also. With tip, it would be more than $9–it’s just not reasonable for most people to be able to pay that much for coffee.

Several factors determine the quality of your morning cup of coffee. The temperature of the water used to extract from grounds the oils that give coffee its flavor. The size and consistency of the individual granules that compose your grounds (the reason a burr grinder, champion of mechanized consistency, can transform your morning routine if youre using a bladed grinder). The ratio of water to grounds (23 grams of coffee to 320 grams of water is my sweet spot).Too often overlooked (because its so hard to come by) is the quality and freshness of the beans themselves and, if you live in Denver, you honestly cant do better than Sweet Bloom (in Lakewood) or Corvus Coffee on Broadway. Not only does the roaster deliver on the vaunted tasting notes promised on each bag but you can find, as I did, coffee roasted and bagged within days (or in my case one day) of its counter space occupancy. And that matters. A lot. Optimally youll want your fresh coffee to breathe a few days after roasting before using but, ideally, youll use and consume your bag within two weeks of roast. Corvus committment to excellence and freshness makes that possible, a rare achievement in the Denver area in my experience. No more flipping of bags like a madman for 10 minutes looking for a single bag that hasnt sat an age on a shelf. The roast date is out front, like a badge of honor. Finally a word should be said for the thoughtful, knowledgeable and generous batistas who prepared a pourover for me -- without rushing, proud of their craft and knowledge but also humble and kind. Kindness is a quality in shirt supply these days and I honor it when I find it. In a service industry focused, however subtly, on customer turnover, the overall sentiment conveyed by my batista was I took the time to make this for you right. You matter. Our conversation matters. Im glad you came in. Enjoy. Thats authentic committment to customer service. It makes an impression especially considering how rare it is.Even if making a cup of coffee each morning isnt a meditative ritual as it is for me you will find something special at Corvus--genuine pride of place, dedication, discipline, excellence and, in all of that, inspiration.

Maybe you should put a sign up so customers know, instead Of giving me attitude. I will never return to this establishment. You can’t treat customers like that learn some hospitality skills. You don’t own the lot baldy, i can park anywhere if there is no parking sign. Also the baldy and other employees always expect you to tip them. Where is the management and hospitality? You should never expect your customers to tip. I hate that employees working here make customers feel obligated to tip.

This place has some of the most amazing flavored lattes and wonderful quality coffee! The only thing I cannot get past is the service. When I am paying $7 for my cup of coffee, I morally don’t see a reason to tip. I’m coming to Corvus and paying extra for great quality - this is built into the price. During COVID, Corvus is one of the only coffee shops where they ask you which tip button you would like them to press. I hate how they force you to publicly announce how much you intend to tip - it feels like a social experiment designed to simply get more money.Even still, I am confident in my opinions and have gotten used to saying this out loud (although this alone has caused me multiple times to go to another coffee shop simply out of principle). Today, though, when I said my usual “no tip,” the barista looked at me incredulously and said twice as loudly, “NO TIP?” I couldn’t believe it. It was as if she wanted to make sure all the other patrons heard my decision, and heard how much she disapproved. Then, when I already had been publicly shamed for my personal decision, she made the lattes for not one, but two customers who came in after me before making mine. If tips are not optional, stop asking. Build it into the price. This entitled expectation of tipping for employees who aren’t making a reduced wage (unlike, say, waiters) is simply unbelievable. The whole experience made me so uncomfortable, I am sorry I even went.

Best place to order coffee ahead and get back on Broadway into Denver. They roast their own beans which are top notch so every time I run out of beans I run in here and treat myself to an espresso drink as well. This isn’t a Starbucks so if you want gross sugary drinks made in one minute don’t come here. This is an actual coffee shop and roaster so come here if you’re an adult who knows a good cup of joe. They do have their own syrup/flavors like vanilla and caramel and chocolate etc if you want but I think their coffee and espresso is so good it’s a crime to dilute it. They do a better job than most places in every one working here wears their masks properly and they social distance people pretty good. They have a nice patio which is also great if you are meeting someone but it is pretty busy so get here early if you want a spot. Lastly, all their baristas are really kind and work their butts off so please tip them if you can! They deserve it!
