I was having a bad day. I just wanted to order my drink. Before i could even finish making changes to my drink, after every phrase iβm asked βany thing else? What else? Want anything elseβI settled at my drink. I didnt even finish making all the changes to it. I felt like i was CONSTANTLY being interrupted. I was supposed to order a pastry and a sandwich. I just went somewhere else.
Starbucks with an amazing view of the Platte river. Can sit indoors or outdoors as of Sep 2020. Right next to REI so you can get your shopping done first and then relax with a cup of Joe. Crazy people will occasionally walk through here, but for the most part its a vibey sporty millennial-y hangout spot.
I go to this Starbucks after running/walking on the Cherry Creek Path, mostly using mobile order. They are always welcoming and kind. Whenever Im there when Matt is working I know its going to be a good day. Matt is always cheerful and willing to help. Yesterday (3/9/2021) I saw him help a woman who didnt really know what she wanted, he asked her questions about her flavor preferences and things shes like in the past. She looked happy with the final result.I continue to go back time and time again because of the kindness of the staff and speed of service.
Great place near a beautiful river, on hot days its fun to bring tubes and tube down. The drinks are good, as they always are at Starbucks, but if you do not get there immediately after they call it or do not hear them call it your drink may get taken by someone else, especially on busier days.
Perfect spot in the summer evenings to sit and enjoy the scenery.
My son and I jogged here after a Broncos game and loved every moment of this experience. I say its an experience because the building and surroundings are so unique. The photos on the wall tell the story of how this building used to house a power station for the Denver trolley system. Old steel, exposed dry rotted wood, and period lighting make this a fun place to spend a few minutes or a few hours.Situated right off the Platte River next to jogging paths and high rise buildings, this location is easy to access. The staff was exceptional and the service was great. I highly recommend this and have to say it is taking over as my favorite Starbucks location Ive visited in the United States. You HAVE to visit this coffee shop and wander around the attached REI CO-OP!
Waited over 20 minutes for 2 drinks. I asked if they were going to be ready soon and she said she didnβt see the orders. 4 people who were in line behind me already had their drinks. I had an appointment and had to leave without the drinks I paid for.
Very nice open seating area...good service by staff.....
I have been going to this Starbucks religiously since summer 2020 and your staff is excellent. Your staff is thoughtful, knowledgeable and warm! I have to highlight the efforts of Travis, Matt & Eva . They always are super attentive and make my Starbucks experience ideal no matter the day. I highly recommend this Starbucks and if you are lonely due to covid stop in the staff will make you smile guaranteed! !
They always make good coffee.
Great location. I love the inside of this shop. Customer service is amazing! I was taken care by Matt and heβs a great barista. Just need to point that out because I havenβt had this type of costumer service in a while, so great job!
Love this starbucks. A beautiful location near the river with a nice outdoor patio. Tastefully decorated with historic photos of the building its located in which it shares with REI. Parking is free for up to two hours in the parking lot right out front. Also accessible from the bike path that runs along the river. I always enjoy my visits to this store. Very charming.
Nice place and the people too, nice to have a morning coffee here before going to work
Inside of the REI but has its own entrance too.
Boy in tattoos who made my drink said he was offended that I sad no when asked if I was doing anything fun today. Give me a break ffs I come to buy coffee not to be laughed at
Barista Matt made my morning SO much brighter with his EXTRAORDINARY attitude. Thank you for bringing smiles to the unsuspected! Coffee was yummy too!
This is a great Starbucks connected to the REI. Lot of cool history to this building. Tons of seating inside (not currently with covid) and outside. Huge outside patio with southern exposure. Perfect for these covid times when you want a warm place to sit outside on a warm winter day.
Pretty good Frapecino.
Welcoming staff, loving my coffee.
As someone whose local Starbucks gets drive-through orders wrong on a regular basis, I love THIS Starbucks drive-through. They are friendly and consistent. I go out of my way to stop here for a green tea lemonade without sugar. By far the best Arnold Palmer I have ever had. Can a drink taste bright? It does.
Good starbuck, good social distancing.Nice service too
The coffee were really good and the place is nice as well
The coffee were so good, it makes me relax and good for a day
The coffee is so good and I like the place
The place was so nice and the coffee were great it so good
The coffee was so great I really love it is so nice
The staff here are wonderful
Really cool location
Very cool store! Amazing view and incredible interior. The staff were very polite and happy and products were on par with every other store Iβve visited, meaning amazing! Would definitely make this a regular visit
Love the staff here! Everyone is great. The location is just amazing with a huge outside patio area with shades and umbrellas, there is an REI outlet store connected directly to the Starbucks. Also a great view of the rivers converging together into one river in the South side.
Good coffee, friendly people..
Not only was the beautiful scenery in the environment surrounding the neighborhood but at the same time barista Matt and every other barista treated me with extreme respect making my experience much enjoyable. Thank you team thank you partners for such an amazing experience delivered even unto the guests surrounding me and made me proud to be part of the Starbucks family.
Beautiful place
Michael is one really nice guy! We just came for a visit, taking photos of the beautiful park and decided to get hot chocolate and he was so polite, made the drinks very delicious and talked to us for a few minutes. Outstanding customer service and thank u Michael for making our night!
Great Starbucks as always. Too bad Denver folk dont order the good stuff. Bit this Starbucks has it and does a great job with all their drinks and snacks. Also, guess Starbucks is not a place to work or study because this Starbucks was uniquely devoid of people camping out with their laptops like they live there. Great spot and its attached to REI . . . Whats not to love.
Im homeless but I just got a good job. Ive been looking for a place to rent lately but I have to sleep on the streets until I find something. This Starbucks lets me hang out outside and charge my phone just as long as I dont stay overnight.
This is the flagship store for Denver! Perfect pit stop along the Platte River trail! Also a nice break from long shopping trips at REI. Amazing and huge cafe! GREAT outdoor patio. It gets busy on the weekends but the staff is always kind and knowledgeable.
Perfect stop to grab our drinks. Our barista, I wish I could remember their name, was really chill and great to talk to as we waited for our order. Would definitely come again!
Taylor was the BEST barista I have ever had. I expect typical service from Starbucks but Taylor went about and beyond. I was super impressed and plan on coming back to this location more often.
This location is notorious for messing up simple orders and I always order mobile so I really donβt understand how they always mess up considering mobile orders literally put the recipe right in front of them. This time I ordered a salted caramel white chocolate mocha Frappuccino and PAYED EXTRA to add java chips. Get there and no chips so the lady making them remade it and added chips but used regular mocha instead of the white mocha that I ordered and also forgot the salt. I didnβt want to ask to have it remade 1. Because of time and 2.the lady was acting very busy and high strung (not to friendly) and they werenβt even that busy. I only go here because of convenience.. also if I am going to put 500 calories in my body, I expect it to be what I ordered!
The coffee was perfect and everyone working was very nice!
This is my other office. Love meeting folks here. Usually see someone else I know so great networking place. Central, easy and free parking, walks along the river. Like the new layout, more seating options. Look for me with my Mac Book Pro with Red cover.
Convenient location, the Wifi is always good and the coffee too of course. I like the interior design at this location, very cozy.
Matt is a great barista! Made a great drink!
I has coffee in the style of American Starbucks. The generic recipes are easy to recognize anywhere. If am feeling like I want a beer I have the option of spending $7 for the convenience of doing so.
I love this location as an office away from my office. The staff is great as well. I love the fact that the people here remember your orders.
Cool Starbucks by REI...if Sunset was better then it could been 5 star rating π
The whole store embodies what a starbuck experience, as it feels in the major cities. I enjoyed my decaf pour over that Matt made. Love yall.
I really like the spaciousness of this Starbucks. Just beware of the fact that parking can be a little crazy here and does have a minimum cost after 2 hours.
Love this Starbucks. Lots of seating, great location and amazing PokΓ©mon hunting at night. The staff is always friendly and quick even if it gets really busy in the store. Its a puppy friendly place and serves some light alcohol at night.
Always love working at this Starbucks! Also Taylor is great, she remembered me and what I like to order and always makes a point to make personal conversation and ask how Im doing.
You mean Alot to me
Friendly service. Lofty, dark space. A little noisy. Well crafted mocha, not too sweet. Standard Starbucks.
We had gift cards, stopped in, nice coffee shop, good service.
I would consider this Starbucks inside REI at Confluence Park to be its flagship location in all of Colorado. Big store with a variety of seating inside with massive high ceilings to boot. Huge outdoor sofas, tables, chairs overlooking the Platte. Great stopping point on a bike ride along the Platte River. Check it out!
Starbucks barista promise wasnt honored when I was here last time. I had ordered a drink but it was way too sweet for my taste so I went back and asked if they would remake my drink. I was under the impression that they would make me a different drink to replace the drink I didnt like. She still charged me for the second drink.
Um, outdoor gear and coffee... Sign me up! This is a great spot to meet on a first date. Neutral grounds and lots of inspiration!
Great location but the staff was very disinterested. Terrible interaction.I purchased a pre made sandwich and a bottle of tea. The first thing the cashier told me was that she would not be able to heat the sandwich up for me. ( I hadnt even asked that, nor was I going to)Also, the garbage/recycling was overflowing and all kinds of were stacked on top of it. the condiment area had coffee spilled everywhere and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. No napkins were available, and tables and floor were gross as well.I love Starbucks but coming back to this location would definitely not be my first choice.
Every drink Ive had there was exceptionally well made. And the staff are always excited and super friendly. Always recommend this store.
Terrible experience. My husband was waiting on me in REI to check out right before close, and I walked in Starbucks to grab a black coffee and walk right back out. WHILE I was paying they locked the door between me and REI without asking if I needed to go back through that way. I immediately told them I was sorry but needed to go back through and they refused to open the door for me. It was 7:00 on the dot, so itβs not like it was way past close. I told them my husband was inside waiting for me and they very rudely shrugged and said they were sure he could find me outside. It was freezing outside and I had to stand and wait for 10 minutes while my coffee got cold.
Food and service good. Coffee terrible, but I knew that going in
EMee is the best of the best hands down. Great manager, even better personality. I dont even drink coffee but i will now when im in town! Thanks for good convo and service =]
I feel extremely disrespected. I stoped in extremely dehydrated and looking towards some sb, i picked up a reusable cup to purchase in front of the barista and asked him to put my drink in it. He asked are you going to BUY that cup?. Basically acusing me of trying to steal it. I then asked him if he could rinse out the straw and lid to get any dust out of my newly purchased cup and he hesitated, but agreed. He then proceeded to act like they were coated in HIV and picked it up with only 2 fingers, like he was picking up a dead rat. He could have no and that it was against policy (I didnt know that at the time). I do not like the way he handled the situation at all. Never returning to this location again.
Quick, friendly service.
Great place to get some work done or just people watch. Located in a historic building and connected to REI (with an exterior entrance). Offers a great deal of space including arm chairs, booths and communal table seating with plenty of outlets. The Starbucks offers its Reserve Coffee line and alcohol after 5pm.
I asked for the very berry hibiscus blended and they said okay. It wasnβt the best but they were super sweet.
My favorite Starbucks in Colorado. Its spacious and unique with cool touches that are all its own. Plenty of seating too.
Nice location that is connected to REI Denver, and located in a beautiful downtown setting right on the South Platte River.
It was the same as many others except there was in riaa store with minute even cooler enjoyed it quick service food prepared the way we ask for.
Standard SBX fare in a big and cozy space. Great spot to take a break from the nearby trails or shopping at the co-located REI flagship store. Easily my favorite Starbucks location.
One of the more laid back Starbucks you will find. The staff are friendly and helpful and talk as much about coffee as they do the outdoors (given it is inside the REI store).Baristas are good here.
Spacious Starbucks with free water, bike parking and cool spots for networking.
Nice starbucks, high ceilings, friendly staff, shop rei and stop in. They recently redid the patio, nice open space to ride your bike up and enjoy an outdoor beverage!
To the Decaffeinated Team. My coffee was clear and far away from the old days in starbuck. I was in fort lauderdale yesterday at the Starbucks - airport.... and..... they did not had decaff coffee avalaible.....
I take my grandkids here every Saturday. They staff is wonderful and they are always so nice to us. Thank you!!!
Beautiful scenery but closed very early on sunday.
This Starbucks is inside a REI and features a giant room with two-story ceilings and a gorgeous peaking view of the Platte if you sit near the windows. Downside is free parking is limited to 2 hours.
Great location inside REI. All the usual Starbucks products and if you want you can wander around the store with your coffee. It is easy to spend money here, what a great idea to join the stores.
The dog friendly patio overlooks the Platt River, which is beautiful and convenient for bringing your furry buddy. The staff are wonderful and it is located in an old historic warehouse, which is very neat.
One of my favorite Starbucks anywhere. Co-Loa Ted with one of the biggest REI in the land, next to a scenic riverfront. I try to stop by every time Im in Denver.
Really snarky cashier! Hardly anyone in the place on super bowl sunday, especially right before kickoff. Point is no one in line and apparently I was standing at the wrong end. She wanted me to go where the line should begin before she would take my order. Plus these are not marked! I could see if they were jammed. Just unnecessary and not like Starbucks.
This location just let in several people who were not wearing a mask.
Love the new cloud macchiato πβ€οΈπ
Its a StarHole but this particular one is attached to the awesome Denver REI flagship store. Really sweet building indoors, really sweet view outdoors.
Love yall
