I took an iPad Air for the screen to be replaced. I continuously had problems after the repair. Eventually, he said it was out of warranty now and I cant fix it anymore. The iPad is now worse than what it was before I took it to there. Recommend paying extra and taking to Apple store for repair if you want it done right.

I had to get my laptop screen replaced due to one of my kids breaking it, I called around and found that Experimax offers the best pricing and had great reviews so I went with them. After my experience with this location I can see why.I worked with Marty, the screen that came in to replace mine was damaged in shipping, Marty was completely transparent through the whole process and was able to get a new screen shipped in very quickly and expedited the fix once it was received.There was great communication through the whole process and the integrity of the business was shown throughout as well, making sure to do what is right for the customer without the customer having to ask. I will be bringing my hardware here for any repairs if needed in the future and will recommend Experimax to any of my friends.Thank You!!

After telling the rep on the phone that I think the charging port was the issue, he took it upon himself to replace the battery instead. The new battery didnt work but hed like to see if a port replacement might work now for another $50-$80. Keep your money and apply it towards a new device.

I stopped by Experimac today. I have to say the store is no where as good as it was with the previous owners. It’s overpriced for used products. I went to purchase a replacement power adapter for a 2015 MAC Book air and the asking price was $53.00. I passed, because I was expecting to pay around $30.00 which was the price with previous owners. I would have considered that price if it was new in the box.I should have known better when I seen a 1st generation iWatch for $199.Just overpriced in my opinion.

Had to get fingerprinted for work.The digital fingerprinter didnt work well but not too bad a place other than that.

This is not the same apple retailer from a year before. This is not Experimac. The new owners of this location are computer illiterate. They know nothing of the Apple products they sell, nor do they know anything about computers in general. I would advise that you shop somewhere else if you are looking for a refurbished Mac.Edit: I appreciate the response from the owner and I would love to specifically state what the issues were.

These guys are the absolute best and I would drive for hundreds of miles to have them repair ant of my devises. Worked hard to resolve numerous issues with my MacBook and, instead of trying to sell me a new computer, made a repair that will give me several more years of use. So knowledgeable and fabulous service. They have made a customer for life. Exceptional service.

The staff at Experimax Worthington provide exceptional customer service. We purchased a phone (7plus) for my wife, but had some trouble getting it from the dealer (no fault of Experimax at all). To correct this, Dean, the store owner/manager, got us an upgrade (8plus 64g) for the same price. Unfortunately, a component in that phone malfunctioned, but Dean and his staff fixed it at no charge to us. We are very satisfied with both the product and the service we received. Update on my review.Graphics card went bad in my Mac 9 months after buying it. That means the whole logic board gets replaced. Not good.Took it in and without me asking they warrantied it and gave me another computer and swapped my hard drive into the new one.I can attest that you can rest easy buying a used computer because they will back up their product.Bought a used Mac 6 months ago and they have supported their product for service at no cost this far.Had an update get corrupted and they helped me reinstall the OS. Charger went bad and they warrantied it.So far Ive had great customer service and all of my questions answered.And I saved money on a quality used computer.Used doesnt mean that it wont cost you a decent amount of money however. Its just much less than a new one.

Took a water damaged Mac Book Pro in today to have it professionally evaluated. Turns out the extent of damage was past the point of no return, however, I was completely satisfied with the level of service and expertise by Dean and his team. I purchased a Mac from here for work and it started randomly shutting down. I took the laptop in and they tried to fix the issue but when they couldn’t the owner upgraded me to a much better laptop for no extra charge. Excellent service! Would recommend to anyone in need of a mac repair/update. I went in at 6:35pm, they close at 7pm. The owner fixed my 2010 macbook pro that apple store would have never touched. Reinstalled OS and stayed late so that I wouldnt have to make the drive (out of my way) the next day and the fee was very reasonable, I paid 1/4 of what I assumed I would pay. So helpful & very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Good, honest place to get work done on your Mac. Had them replace an aging hard drive with a new SSD and general tune up. They got it back to me the same day and when I got home it was like I got a brand new computer. Happy with the results!

I was devastated when I dropped my phone and saw that the screen was destroyed. As a business owner I need my phone for more reasons than I can count. They guys at Experimac got me in last minute, they were very friendly and professional, and you cant tell my phone was ever damaged. Sprint wanted a $200 deductible to fix my phone and Exoerimac did it for less than half that. Highly recommended!!!

I was having trouble with a kernel panic reboot loop after my dad accidentally shut my MBP while updating to High Sierra. I called and brought it in that day and the issue was resolved within an hour for a VERY reasonable price.

Experimac was great at getting me an estimate for damaged Macbook Pro while traveling. Im still waiting on the TSA claim to be approved. If and when that happens I will have them complete the job which they said can be done in about 45 minutes.

Rude. Walked in, the two working employees were with other customers, which is fine, but we werent even welcomed or acknowledged. The laptops we wanted to check out were being looked at by someone else, so we waited around for a few. Still nobody spoke to us, or acknowledged our presence. We waited around about 10 minutes. There were two employees standing the back, talking to each other.....Upon leaving, someone finally said they would be with us, as we were half way into the parking lot. Its too bad. They seemed like they had decent prices, too bad they dont know a lot about customer service.

Called this store today in the AM 04/11/19. Ask multiple questions about my MacBook Pros and the ability to upgrade. Got instant answers to all my questions. Very detailed on what could be done. This afternoon I entered the store and within an hour the replaced a battery and upgraded my memory which I was told was not possible by another repair station. I was told of my dx by the store which was spot on and fixed on the spot with no need to have to leave the computers. Highly recommend these guys. Great customer service and very knowledgable on the Apple computers. Will most certainly do business here in the future.Update. This is my second awesome experience with this company. He took what looked to be a hopeless cause and made it look new again. Great store. HIGHLY recommend if you have an apple issue. If you have a problem with an Apple produce or want a high quality used Mac or ipad/iphone issue this is the place to take it to get it repaired.

Wow. Dean and Corey were in when I went in. Dean is the owner and Corey repaired (2) I phone 6 phones in 40 minutes. They replaced both screens on sight with factory screens. Wow Im blow away. I had had the kiosk at the mall replace a screen once and it took all day and was twice the price. I will never take my phones to the mall to be repaired again. I had the kiosk at the mall tell me one of the two phones was unrepairable and tried to sell me a new phone. I got both my phones fixed same day for under $130.Amazing service. I cant say enough good things about this place. Customer service is over the top! Theyre so knowledgeable, informative, helpful and all-around great! They scraped our data off a shot hard drive on our iMac, replaced the HD and reloaded the data. We also ended up buying am upgraded used iMac too - to allow us to have 2 working machines.

Be careful buying anything here, they wanted to charge $799 for a 2012 MacBook with 250 gb, the sales clerk then offered unfriendly advice as if I needed a better MacBook than the severely outdated MacBook he was trying to sell me. Of course I needed a better laptop but I didnt care about the hd size as much as the fact this was a completely outdated processor and amount of RAM. I picked up a 2015 MacBook Pro with twice the RAM, a superior processor and a PCIE SSD for $650 at a different Apple-certified reseller. Also, it seems their prices were based on who walked in, as nothing had a price on it. If you want a pawn shop experience for twice the price, this is your stop.

Dean and Experimac are outstanding. They diagnosed the problem with my 2011 iMac, made some recommendations. We discussed, they installed a new SSD drive, upgraded my Ram from 4 to 16 gb, cleaned up my programs. I have a like brand new computer for a few hundred dollars. I have been telling all of my friends about Experimac. Honest reliable and professional; couldn’t ask for more.

My 2012 iMac began acting erratically and locking up for minutes at a time in response to input as simple as a mouse click. Dean and his team at Experimac were extremely helpful. They did extensive troubleshooting and discovered that my machine had a strange and rare factory configuration that made recovery more challenging than expected. Nevertheless, they did the research, found the solution, replaced my 2TB HD with a new 2TB hybrid drive, reconfigured the system to take maximum advantage of my SSD, and restored everything seamlessly. And the price for the work was extremely reasonable (I think a more honest term would be cheap). In addition, they did a battery replacement for my iPhone 6 on the spot for a fraction of what the Apple Store charges. I highly recommend Experimac. They kept me in business at a price I could afford.

Dean was very knowledgable and helped me chose the perfect MacBook Pro. This was not the typical detached pre-owned transaction. Im a longtime mac user and have always enjoyed the support I got at the Genius Bar. They saved my @ss a number of times over the years. But, today when my mac crashed I found that the Genius Bar was schedule out almost a week out. So, I called Apple Support and they referred me to Experimac. That was 12:30 pm. By 3:30 my computer was working again. Amazing!Without getting too deep in the tech issues. Experimac seemed to know what my problem was over the phone. They had been seeing the type of problem (it looked like the OS could not be found on the drive.) Im not 100% sure that the Apple techs wouldve known to replace the data cable but Experimac had seen three macbooks just like it in the last couple days after a OSX update. So, now i can say Experimac saved my @ss.

My husband and I heard about this store several months ago and finally were in the area and decided to check it out. We went in to just look around.Dean, the owner, was more knowledgeable than I could ever have imagined, even explaining that the store is a franchise. The store was well stocked with used, but in extremely good condition, Apple products, such as iPads, iMacs, MacBook Pros and more.Dean explained their trade-in program, which got me thinking about my Mac Mini that died a year ago. He showed us the MacBook Pro, which Ive had my eye on for several years to use for my business.Long story short, I took my Mac Mini in the next day, got a decent trade in price, and after a comprehensive tutorial, walked out with a MacBook Pro with great specs.I recommend this store if you need any of your Apple products repaired or if you want a used Mac computer but dont want to pay the high price for a brand new one.
