So we went to this store to spend money. We had went there to upgrade our plan an buy new phones. Well the “trainee” we got gave us bad information twice he said that our bill would not be pro rated in the middle of a Billing cycle if we upgraded plans. Which was wrong. It would cost us an extra 70 dollars to change plans which was required to upgrade phones. They had an 800 dollar promotion going on to trade in phones. Our billing cycle ended in 10 days from when we first came in so instead of spending an extra $70 we decided to wait 10 days to upgrade our phones and we asked the trainee if this promotion for $800 for a trade-in would still be available when we came in the next time and he said yes. So fast forward 10 days we come to the store to upgrade phones well we come to find out that this trainee did not only not upgrade our plan but he gave us bad information about the promotion still being available. After talking to an employee and telling us that the promotion was no longer available a manager was not willing to make it right from their own employees giving us bad information the general manager also told us to kick rocks and it was our own fault for not buying the phone when we first came in and that they were not willing to make it right even though their employees gave us the wrong information. Which they admitted that their employer gave us bad information and they were still not willing to make it right with us in anyway. It was absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life I would never go back to the store and work with these sales representatives ever in my entire life.

This location is the third place I was sent to by two other store locations. Neither of the first two were any help at all, here the manager Sarah was able to help me fix the problem within minutes. Better service than the phone, website, or anywhere else was able to give me. Give her a raise, she knows her job well

I worked with a small handful of people (Aaron, DeAndre, Nick and Kevin) to get my phone activated. The staff did everything they could to get through to customer service and push my number to activation. Everyone was very courteous, efficiently worked while providing excellent customer service to others when they could. The manager on duty also made sure all of the customers were tended to also. I just had a good experience at this store, everyone was super helpful.

Apparently TONS of phones are on backorder. The staff was super nice and tried to assist me as best they could. Ended up buying my phone online and while it said it would take 3 weeks it only took 1.5.Convenient location off of 270 but parking lot isnt huge.

Walked into this location 20 minutes before close (6:40pm). I informed the sales representative that I wanted to upgrade my phone. She then told me she was maxd out on walk-ins for the night and then told she could only direct me how to complete this online...or to set another appt.. Disappointed in the little amt of customer service. I have been with Verizon for over 15 years, and if this is what the service is declining to- why are they still charging an activation fee?

I need someone to contact me. I had the single worst experience with Verizon I’ve ever had today. I spent over an hour with the manager simply trying to swap out to a new phone. She brought out the exact device I wanted almost right away. After working with me for around an hour, she informed me that the device that was in my hand was just purchased for in store pickup by someone else. She brought me a more expensive phone, assuming I’d be okay with the cost difference and took back the original phone. She didn’t offer to reduce its price, nor to compensate me for the difference in cost. After additional kiosk technological issues, I left with the new device, that I didn’t want, absolutely furious. If this can’t be handled locally, I’ll happily get in contact with a corporate representative.

Waited AN HOUR while watching staff members stand around and socialize with other customers. For the life of me I cant figure out what they were doing. There was clearly no manager on duty to discreetly tell the staff to wrap it up because there were other people waiting. When someone finally came to help us, she was not knowledgeable about the current Buy 1/Get 1 promo and had to look it up, which seemed odd. We told her which phone we wanted, she took forever to retrieve it from the back and then proceeded to tell me that we would need to transfer everything from the old phone to the new one ON OUR OWN at home. So basically, we were there nearly 90 minutes total for the pleasure of picking up a phone that we could have ordered online if we had known we would receive ZERO customer support. My husband needed help with his phone, too, as the tethering isnt working. They told him to call Customer Service. WHAT IS THE POINT of a brick-and-mortar store if they dont provide any service??? Honestly Id rather go to the dentist than go back to this Verizon store. Absolutely useless. I would give zero stars if I could.

I want to express thanks to Josh the store manager for his exceptional assistance. I had contacted verison at 12 different contact points to resolve my issue. I was trading in my old phones for a new 12mini for $5 per month for 24 months per verison offering. Verison started charging my account the payment for the full value of the phones minus $5.xx trade in value per month. This was not their offeringI was passed around like a hot potato, no one wanted to deal with the issue. I finally went to the Easton verison ( a corporate store) and discussed my issue with Josh the store manager. He listened, understood and took the initiative to get my issue resolved. One billing cycle later the correction was addressed. My account was credited with the over charges and future bills are correct. Thanks to josh for taking the initiative to correct a wrong that was 6 month old. To him, 5 stars! Thanks Josh!!!!!

Manager absolutely ruined my day by NOT telling me the cash machine doesn’t give change, he pressed the continue button without letting me look through it and see if I could get the money back out, I believe he wanted commission that badly. Sadly enough he told me there was no way I could get the change that I need back instead the money was put towards my next bill and he never discussed any of that with me. Left with my day absolutely ruined and I’ve only been a Verizon customer for ONE DAY!!!

Such a horrible experience. I was convinced into switching to a business account because of the number of lines i had. I swtiched to a business account and things went horrible since then. In fact my bill got cheaper because the manager failed to transfer 2 lines. Then somehow assigned 1 line that didnt belong to me. so since March i had being paying for another line that was not even mine. Then the 2 lines that were not transfer and i did it know i had lingering around somewhere else got disconnected because they were not getting paid with the rest that got transfer. I had to pay to get reconnected and bring up to date, Verizon was supposed to transfer them and did not do it again. So lines got disconnected again. I had to pay to reconnect again and again since march. I went to the store to get this resolved and they gave me the number of TJ apparently the person or manager in charge of business accounts. He did tell my my account was all screwed up and was supposed to help me. The lines that were never transferred were still not transfer when i talk to him, he set up an appointment to to talk to the billing department with me. I asked him that i had so many charges and i didnt want to pay again until we had all this transferred and resolved. he assured me i was not going to get disconnected prior to our meeting. The day before the meeting those lines got disconnected again, I had to pay again over $230 to get those connected. TJ told me he was exposed to COVID and had to go to the doctor,. Since then he just told me somebody from Verizon was going to call me to solve the issue. no one has called me. I have paid over $1000 in fees since march, Im sick of the problems i have with Verizon. I

I dont know about everyone else but my cutoff is at $1,000. Just think of all the things you can do with 2k. I for one love traveling and Im going to start there.

Poor customer service, lacking knowledge and training, unhelpful. They sold us the wrong cases for the phones we purchased, were no help making account changes or setting up, and gave the wrong instructions. We then had to spend hours on the phone with Verizon customer service to fix what was done at the store and have customer service override the issues created and set-up the phones. It was terribly frustrating. In contrast, we went to a Verizon Authorized Retailer on Sawmill, where we received accurate information, the precise accessories we needed, and received excellent customer service. The Authorized Retailer made it easy. The Easton store made things more difficult and frustrating. I wont go there again...except to exchange all the accessories they sold us that dont fit the phone they sold us.

The location is good. The store is well kept and youre greeted when you walk in. The overall design of the store is pretty nice. Plenty of love phones to play with before making your purchase choice. The individual that helped us was very knowledgeable and took her time making sure everything was understood, including the pricing and payment options.

I have gone to this store twice and have gotten the run around both times. The first time I went, my sister and I wanted to break off of my dads phone bill. We got there and they were incredibly understaffed so we had to wait nearly 45 minutes (no one told us it would be faster and easier to do it over the phone). Once we finally got help, the guy started punching all of our stuff info into his tablet. Once we were half way through the process, his tablet died and we had to start all over. Then once we were half way through again, he got an error (he never showed us the error). So, he went to the back to talk to his manager and when he came back he told us the system was down and he couldnt help us anymore. Needless to say, we were extremely upset. So, we had to call Verizon and it was a very easy process over the phone and took less than 10 minutes.A few weeks later, my phone stopped receiving service everywhere so I went back to Verizon. After nearly an hour and a half wait and near closing time I finally got helped. They determined that it was a defect with the phone and I would get a replacement phone in the mail. Unfortunately for me, it was now after 8pm on a Wednesday and they were no longer able to get me a new phone the next day and it would arrive at my house sometime on Friday. At this point, I was slightly upset because that means I wouldnt have a usable phone for 3 days. Naturally, I asked if I could get a credit on my account since I am paying for a phone that I cannot use. They got a manager and he proceeded to tell me that it wasnt Verizons fault that I the phone broke and I should just be happy that it was covered under warranty and wouldnt pay a dime to get a new phone. I was very upset and tried to tell him that it shouldnt matter because I am paying Verizon for service that I cannot use because I bought a broken phone from them. The guy did not want to hear it and since it was closing time he probably just wanted me gone. So I left the store pretty upset after wasting 2.5 hours of my day.The next day, I called Verizon and asked them if I could get a credit on my account since I couldnt use my phone for 3 days. The lady on the phone told me it was no problem and in less than 5 minutes, they reduced my current bill by $15 dollars. It was that easy.The moral of this story is to never go to this store unless you want to waste hours of your day waiting on people to help you and then get frustrated when they are too lazy to do their job properly.

Why do brick and mortar stores still exist? First my fiancé has an issue with a different Verizon store now I do. I went to upgrade to the new iPhone and decided to keep my iPhone 8. I talked with the representative about wanting to keep it and she even pulled out her second phone talking about how a lot of people are keeping their phones. I get a call today about how I haven’t returned my phone. I explained to the manager what happened and how I told the rep I was keeping my phone. The manager then talks to the rep and she accuses me of walking out without returning the phone, saying she got busy with another customer. I remember that day, I left my purse on the chair and she even said I forgot my purse. The representative called out to me about leaving my purse and I retrieved it before I exited the store. So tell me, does that sound like I just walked out of the store with the old phone while her attention was elsewhere?This situation is bad enough that I have to return the old phone and there’s “nothing” they can do about it but then to accuse the customer of lying and stealing? Completely unprofessional, if I stole it then your representative handing me my purse as I walked out the door was my accomplice. I will never go to the Easton store again. I’m a nurse and pride myself on honesty and workmanship, this store does not hold to these values.

Best place to go if you have questions regarding your Verizon phone or account. Not so great when trying to self-shop for phones. They kind of make the store only usable if you have an employee with you. Phones are out on display to try, but no information about them other than price is available. You will need to either do your homework ahead of time, or have the Verizon website up on your phone while browsing the phone selections so you can actually read features of each phone.

The service here is terrible. I walked in 2 minutes after they opened. There were 3 people in there already. After a half hour I still got no help. I was told other people who had appointment would be seen ahead of me. How about asking me what I needed and maybe I could have spent my money and gotten what I was looking for in your store quickly? Seems like they have 2 or 3 people dedicated to answering questions for people who know little to nothing about cell phone service and each appointment takes at least 45 minutes! The Apple store is a lot more busy and yet the wait is far less. I am not a Verizon customer and based on this experience I will not become one. One shouldn’t need an appointment to get information or a gift card. Unbelievably terrible store.

We were immediately quoted the wrong price on our plan by the woman who checked us in, and after waiting for at least 30 min we were told they did not have the phone in stock in the store. Which wouldnt have been a problem if we hadnt mentioned that this was our purpose in coming to the store to the check-in lady. After finally being helped by a different, less helpful woman, we were told that the phone was backordered and the latest it would ship is 12/29. When my husband got home and checked his account, 12/29 is actually the earliest it would ship. There was absolutely no point in wasting our time at this store, and I will not shop here again.

Manager scolded the employee helping us in front of us which seemed pretty unprofessional. Called to request a new glass screen protector and employee on the phone referred me to the warranty. I would recommend purchasing a screen protecter and installation from a more qualified company as the employee who installed my glass screen protector pulled it off the phone,which caused a hairline crack that I did not notice until I went home.

I went to Verizon when they opened at 10am to purchase a new phone and Greg helped me. We had issues with my bill that were kind of a weird incident that he had never seen before. Greg was so patient and literally worked on my issue almost all day, while assisting other customers. He finally resolved my issue, and we got everything straightened out. This place has wonderful customer service, and an excellent team! I will be going here for all of my Verizon needs!

I have never experienced customer service this poor in my life. No one was checking people in at the door so we stood there waiting. 5 people walk in behind us while we are waiting off to the side to be helped. One woman looked and made eye contact with us twice but she proceeded to check in everyone else before us. One other customer also mentioned that they needed someone to help check in customers and she told the man he should have checked in online. Excuses. You dont make excuses. You apologize and make it right. After checking in everyone else, she still hasnt checked us in, makes eye contact with us again and then goes back to her customer!? I spoke up and mentioned we were there before everyone else and she said she wasnt suppose to be working the door and had to get back to her customer. Excuses again. Terrible customer service. I will never leave Verizon because the coverage is the best, but I have never had one good interaction with staff here. Just read through all of the reviews on here. Every single one talks about poor service and terrible customer service.

I feel bad for the customer rep we had because she was good and helpful. The bad score is that I had to wait 20 minutes to be helped when the store wasn’t busy and I see multiple employees doing nothing. The most interesting worker was the older manager looking employee playing on his phone while I waited those 20 minutes. He is either the manager who doesn’t care about his customer service scores or he is that one employee that goofs off when the boss is at lunch. Took an hour to get out of this place when it was slow. God bless those who go in when they are busy.

They have the worst managers that I have ever met. Theyre really good and quick at taking your money, but will have every excuse in the book to not refund you your money once you decide to return their items. I had their phone for less than a week when I decided to return it because there were extra charges that I didnt agree with on my bill. They only returned half my money back onto my debit card and told me that I would be receiving a check for the rest of my money via mail. I was lied to tonight after waiting over 5 weeks for my money, and was told that the financial department was going to send me my money. Well, I called the financial department and they told me that I owed them money! What?! I was with Verizon for less than a week and lost over $500.00. Theyre the worst. Stay away from them. Far, far away.

Bought my 93 year old grandmother a new phone online.... her old phone had a micro SD card. Went to this store and we have been waiting almost 2 hours to pick up a Nano SD card that could have been taken care of in 5 minutes. Arrived 15 minutes before closing after spilling my beverage on my phone. Working in customer service I was irritated with myself for being that customer that comes in right before closing after a hard days work. Was greeted warmly by young man at front who reassured me if I could endure the approximate 35 to 45 minute wait, Id get great care. I expressed my thanks at his kindness and warm reception. Took time to look around and was occasionally and timely reminded that someone would be with me as soon as they could. Finally, Derek came over and greeted me well and was from get-go outstanding in explaining recent changes in the plan rates and marrying them with the best phone deals that fit my upgrade/renewal per my plan. As a patient advocate, I speak to my clients and patients in a means they can understand and Derek did the same for me. Thats customer service, when its late, when youre tired...and it was exactly what I needed. Derek ensured I left out of the door with a phone, case, glass protector, and other viable accessories that I knew EXACTLY, how/why/when to use. Hats off to Derek and the Easton Town Center location for outstanding service. I posted this after leaving out of the same store some 7 weeks ago in tears after the rep, although kind, spoke at me and not to me. I was not presented with the clarity and education Derek provided tonight. Even he said, the industry is changing so quickly that its essential that we speak with our customers at a level they can understand. And once they see were not just trying to sell them, but get them a device(s) that suits them and enhances their lives, youve got customers for life. Derek shared hes new to the Verizon family. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. A Verizon customer for nearly 20 years that was only trying to exchange a phone...only to be victimized by what I couldnt believe to be a manager. It appears that my visit couldnt allow the manager (ReShawn) to fulfill his duties at the store and he let me know it when I asked that he not walk away and stay with me until our business is finished. He was loud, irate, and just plain ill-equipped to be a manager. I felt so embarrassed, angry, and mostly disappointed...especially being a customer as long as I have. When you been with a company that long and have always been in good standing, that kind of service just makes you want to walk away and take your business elsewhere.

My wife went in to upgrade her phone, and to add another phone to our account. After being told we had a limit on what we could finance phone wise (which sucks already as I should have to finance a car or a home not a damn phone), she was made to hand over almost $400 for her phone before she could leave, and then owes another 24 payments of $42 a month. This is bad enough, but then they dont even activate the damn phone now! They sent her home with a non working phone and told her to do it herself. The only reason to ever go to a store instead of ordering online is for assistance in getting the phone set up. At this point in time I say just stay away from the store and get your new stuff online. Wonder what specials Sprint is running??

Went here on a Sunday. Had to park four blocks away in the rain. Arrived and prepared to wait to be helped by a sales person for 30 to 60 minutes. They are very busy. Got helpful if not questionable service. Was told inaccurate information about my monthly plan but ultimately ended up spending my paycheck and then some. Be prepared to wait and do your research in advance.

Staff is friendly enough, but the wait time is only the second issue.... FIRST you need to find someone place to park (without a 5 minute or more walk, even with a handicap permit), there is a serious lack of Parking since they relocated their store at Easton. I went to this store on my lunch break. Other than waiting about 10 minutes, the experience was great. Andrew, the employee who assisted me, had me out of the store with my new iPhone 5 in under 30 minutes, and even threw in some hilarious conversation while he worked. The one representative we delt with did not listen to what we wanted. He had a one track mind to make a more expensive sale. I actually had to stand up and say were leaving. On our way to the next version store we looked up and learned the representatives make commission. We walked out of the second store and purchased exactly the same phone and plan. Cost at this location $220/month. Cost at second location 158/month. Be careful if you choose to spend your money at this location.Another horrible experience (January 2021) at this location led me to make the switch to T-Mobile! The manager at this verizon store did not even respond.

This is a new store which was moved from nearby location less than a few blocks away. The door was held open for me right away as I entered the store, and I received a friendly greeting from an employee who immediately inquired what my visit for the day entailed. I explained I was returning a recently purchased phone I decided I didnt need after all, and was checked in right away. I was told my wait would be no longer then 5 minutes (10am/Saturday - Store opened at 9am), and I only waited approx. 2 before an employee approached me offering assistance. Refund transaction went smooth (Verizon offers a 14-day refund policy with restocking fee of $35), and the employee conducting the transaction even offered to assist me in removing the device from its new case since I was having trouble. I was offered either a credit on my account, or a refund. I chose for them to just credit the account since my 2 year service agreement started only a month ago anyway. A third and final employee held the door open for me on my way out, and he was also very courteous wishing me a nice day, and stating they appreciated my business. This visit was excellent and I was shown the same above average customer service I have come to expect from Verizon time and again over the years. Yes, their prices tend to lean slightly higher then the other major carriers. No, I do not mind, because I assume a portion of these funds go towards paying their employees more, which keeps everyone happy, and makes a huge difference for customers like myself. They are always prompt, whether it be in the store or by phone, and any telephone inquires I have previously made seem to almost always be answered immediately by an english speaking American I can understand. Theyll keep my business, hands down. Thanks, Verizon Wireless.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I came here with an issue with my battery. I didnt know if it was a charge port issue or the battery itself. The sales rep let me know that they have no technical support there only sales people but that there was open enrollment for asurion insurance total mobile protection and that if I signed up they would send me a phone free of charge. She inspected my phone and noted there was no water damage but there was scratching on the back. She then, without my knowledge, filed a warranty claim. So if I hadnt stopped into another Verizon to switch my photos over on the new phone and they caught it I would have been charged 500 dollars since there was damage to the phone. Obviously they are pushing sales goals and not worried about customers or fraud. Verizon was amazing about handling it and really took care of me. I will be with Verizon forever but whoever is managing this store needs to go.

Staff is always friendly and has helped me with several things or issues every time I have visited. One time I made a return and had no issues whatsoever. Would definitely recommend to Verizon customers; official stores are always better than licensed/contracted stores.

We went there to do a simple transaction, upgrade a phone. We arrived at the store following a failed software update to the stores computers. I would need to return to the store to finish the transaction. However there were 2 of us paying for the phone and the 2nd could not return so we attempted to pay for the phone now to be picked up later. Cant do that. Ended up buying a gift card to be used later. Picked up the phone later ok. The whole process took way to long, both visits to the store.

I entered the store at 5:05 pm and was there for about 10 to 15 minutes. No one made contact. No one said hello. No one offered me any service. I walked in there wanting to buy a phone and left because no one paid any attention or offered me any service. Very disappointing!

My son went in for trouble with his phone, the lady helping him didnt even look into our account she just tried to sell a 17 year old a new phone for 700.00!!! He Called me and I talked to the lady and once she realized she was wrong and never looked up the account to see that the phone was just purchased in September and was still under warranty! She also signed him up for stuff that was not authorized, and in the end he went to the Apple Store and they replaced the phone no questions asked! Verizon used to be a great company but with these people working there its gone down hill! Disappointed and dissatisfied customer of 14 years!

Walked in w a shattered phone asking about diagnostics. Girl told me I was next in line. 30 minutes later, a Manager says he will help until she’s finished. I explain that I need diagnostics done to see what I should do about my phone, and he says “oh, we don’t do diagnostics anymore”.... would’ve been nice to know initially! Waste of time. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

I went in today to switch over from sprint to Verizon and I was greeted and everything but the person I had did help me what so ever, didn’t seem to know anything, basically gave me the phone and left. I had to figure stuff out on my own and it was very stressful. I was not pleased at all.

Dealing with the cell phone company is perhaps one of the most miserable human experiences we are left to interact with. The Easton Town Center Verizon location in Columbus, Ohio is no exception. I went in to visit the store and the employee could not be bothered to discuss the issue I was having with my phone. I was handed a pamphlet and told to call the number, no further details, couldnt be bothered to discuss any options other than calling a 1800 number, which is also a horribly miserable experience. I am in the edge program (which is a rip off all on its own- was given no choice at the time I was enrolled in this) so I know there are other options I could consider. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service, do not recommend.

Sells expensive iPhones that for some reason my kids want and want now. Got them Fitbits instead but by the time we got out of there they had new iPhones too. Wretched. Waited in line for an hour. Then they tell me to call a number on my phone to get what I needed done. All while the salesperson day there and talked about fantasy football with the other patrons. How rude. Really what are they there for. I say fire them all and lower my bill............. wait this story gets better. This is an update as of 11/18/2018. I wish I could up load screen shots of my text conversation with some one from this store. So I upgrade from an iPhone 7plus to an Xs Max plus. I did the upgrade over the phone and Verizon sent me my new phone. Verizon told me they would give me 325 for my old phone and I could bring it to the store and receive a gift card. This was in fact the case. I walk in gave my old phone to the guy at the door and handled it from there. He gave me a receipt. Ok. I month later someone from this store starts blowing my phone up. Of course I don’t answer.... then they start texting me asking where the phone is I traded in was. I text back and said I traded it in. Thy text back they would check the security footage. I text back a time and date taken from the receipt I gave them the phone. Haven’t heard back from them since. Sounds like they have it together up there. I’m just saying.

Horrible customer service. I was just there to move several lines off of my dad’s account and take them over. The person checking people in was not at all welcoming and treated people like they were cattle. This was already a difficult situation for me because we were making changes due to my mother passing away. Of course the employee wouldn’t know that, but he treated everyone coming in like a number. I felt like I had to share my business with everyone there out in the open— “phone number, why are you here? Next!”

If you are a Verizon customer, skip this location and choose another. The second phone I purchased from this location died--this one was only two months old. They refused to replace it even though they had phones in stock. I need my phone for work and losing it for two days is not professional. The manager was condescending and gave me the impression that I was just wasting his time. Fair enough. I wont waste any more of it in the future.

Why do cell phones have to have so much angst involved. Battery wont hold a charge. They sent me down the road to buy a new battery. 40+ $ later...still doesnt hold a charge. That was my 2nd attempt with a minimum 30 minute wait each time. #imissroteryphones
