I brought up that it wasnt my fault their guy messed up (the original guy had to leave for a family emergency in the middle of the sale) and they said then they couldnt sell me the ottoman they were going to sell me unless I paid more as well! So in the end, they demanded $500 extra on the deal. I said no the the ottoman, and then they still made me pay more on a deal I had already signed on. So BEWARE, this company does not stand by a signed contract. They even tried to CANCEL my order after I had already had the credit check, and signed a financing contract, which means the couch was already paid for. Just dont go here. Rooms for Less has better deals anyways. I regret not just going with them to begin with.

I trusted them and they lied to me. They profited from me and sold me furniture at an overpriced amount, but acted as if I was getting a deal. I had a terrible experience. Definitely not happy.

Got a chair here for our living room and love it. Even haggled to get the price down a bit. Ill be back soon as we need another cozy chair for our dining room.

Payless are scams like if you buy a big carpets they will give you a small one so dont go to any on payless stories to buy something.

These people will make you pay thousands of dollar. If you want a different color couch and they promise you 3 weeks itll take 3 months to even hear back from them. Poor customer service. I advise you all not to go with this furniture store. Save your time your energy and MONEY!

They have some decent pieces

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Everything seemed great at the store, picked out a great sectional and a nice queen sized bed. This is where it all went down hill. First of all the delivery men showed up to my house high as a kite, and my couch wreaked of weed, they also dinged up my walls while taking the bed upstairs. Before they left they informed me that they forgot the middle cushion to my sectional and they would get it to me sometime today aka 7 hours later. Even after all of this was solved and i got an apology from the delivery men, i was happy, i had some really nice furniture for only 120 dollars a month with no interest rate.... or so i thought, my payments are double what i was told they would be and twice as often as i was told they would be. Not to mention the price of the furniture is double what i was told it would be. This place is horrible. Go next door to value city and get some better quality stuff for the same price.UPDATE***** The bedframe they sold me broke today. This place is garbage. i would have rather slept on some trash bags filled with rusty thumb tacks if i had the option to never go through this place.

Great selection fair finance options

The name Payless had me a little concerned about the quality of furniture offered at this store. I am glad I stopped in any way. They offer great quality furniture and are extremely competitive from a pricing standpoint. They offer financing arrangements as well for those who wish to finance. Their employees are very helpful and, in my opinion, are focused on doing whats right for their customers.

I live on the second floor of my apartment, and my sectional was able to fit through the Hobbit Doors, I have no clue how, and it was worth the $40.00 tip too! You want to haggle your price, not a problem, they encourage it 💪🏻! They even alowed 90 days same as cash! Make your money work consumers, Payless is where its at!

Only buy from this place if you are paying cash. The salesman are dishonest. They told me that that with the lease, if I paid it off in 90 days no interest would be accrued. THAT IS A LIE - THE TOTAL AMOUNT WILL BALLOON AFTER THOSE 90 DAYS. I was looking at 2grand and now I will have to pay 3.5 grand. The furniture is pretty good though.

The lady that we worked with was annoying. I didnt like her (only worked with her because my mom already talked to her the day before when she visited the store). I asked her getting loans for the furniture and she told me that if paid everything in 90 days then there wont be no interests/fees. And now that the financial company is calling me, they said there are fees and slight interest for the 90 days period as well. I paid $200 with them but I dont know why the amount on my loan is still the same as the ones without paying $200. I am pissed because they are cheating me. And not to mention the two sets of furniture was a little bit less than $1400 and with tax and everything itd have been more but since we already paid $200 that should have took care of something but it didnt. I am not happy with the customer service because of this. I hate the lady that I worked with because she kept on talking when my mom and I were discussing important matters about the sofas. Like wait your turn girl and be more respectful. Ive kept on trying to avoid her because I didnt want to talk to her but I ended up talking to her because the financial was under my name. 😡😡😡😡

Ordered furniture on April 4th was told it would take 10-15 days, that time came and passed. Then I was told the 29th or they could give me the same couch in grey now...No I ordered red, because thats what I wanted, call the day before they tell me now the 3rd. Here it is May 5th I have made two payments aside of the original down. I jave the money to pay for it.. but why pay for furniture I dont have and dont know when I will get. I have been given the run around and been yelled at by an employee on the phone. The only person who has been accommodating and acted with professionalism is the financing lady Christine.

Payless Furniture is part of network of business that set up shop in disadvantaged neighborhoods and prey on those with limited knowledge. The business charges 6% Loan Origination fee which Im almost pretty sure is illegal. The 6% goes to the business not the financing company. I payed $2400 for bedroom set and it came in the wrong color. Store policy, no refund or returns so Im stuck with wrong color. $99 for delivery and set up, but when the guys deliver they wont set up your furniture until You give them $69 more. How is this business still around?

The salesman was great, the product seems to be pretty good, my only issue was when I picked up my furniture it was a cluster and they only had half my order.

I had to change my review. I got a bed which is junk(please dont ever buy symbol mattress from them). I sent them photos and they said that the bed was defective and they would replace it. Since then they are not even responding. I had called them almost 10 times. This is very bad business.Finally i had to open a federal compliant to report this bad business.I had to update the review as they fixed the issueThanks

They first brought the wrong mattress and boxspring. They said they did that because the one we ordered was sold out after we bought it almost a month ago. So when we go back to complain, they gave us a better one. When the guys brought the second one they threw them in the bedroom and left like there was a fire. Well I went and looked the box spring was broken and the mattress had a big lump in it like there was a Bodie in it. Well I went back to complain again and at this point I am done, I want my money back. When I say that the guy says we can send you another one and throw in a rug. A rug? Come on really. Well I will never even look to that place again for anything!

They are a very unorganized company. I have been waiting on my furniture to come in for a couple weeks now. I called and checked on it every day that they said it would of been in. It was never in, so they said whats your number we will call you as soon as it is in. So i was just waiting without calling. And come to find out they was calling our emergency contact number trying to get a hold of me when i had gave them my number atleast 4-5 times. Then i call to pick it up while i had a truck and they had said all of there order pullers left for the day, even the managers. A hour and a half before the store even closed. Just very unprofessional.

I was in a huge hurry and the sales people did everything they could to get what I needed and get me on my way. Payless is an attractive mid line furniture store with a good variety of styles.

I first would like to say I went to the payless furniture on E main St and was very disappointed. .....They were trying to play me like I didnt know my stuff...So I left them.....Watch those guys at that store.. especially the goofy one with the ponytail. ...any way decided to go to the one on W Broad st and loved it...Bigger store...Bigger salections....My daughters love love their new bedroom Sets....great customer service. ..delivery was fast...I ordered out of the Ashley catalog. ...and it came super fast...I would like to say to people do your research on what you want or think you want...Its up to you to know your stuff...or you might get got. I will say I love payless furniture on W Broad st....Defiantly will be back....Thank all of you at payless FURNITURE ...
