Worse experience buying furniture. Get delivered and the white glove delivery we pay extra for drop our dresser in our driveway, continue moving it inside and bang it and scratch it on our freshly painted walls! Then put it together and broke the legs on our chest so its barely standing up, dont even bother putting the legs on our dresser, leave tiny washers on the floor for my kids to choke on! Then just leave and Morris customer service is no help at all! So have the broken furniture in my room and cant move it and cant use! Oh and they cant pick it up for another month and is back ordered for another 4 mo ths on new pieces! Spend thousands and thousands of dollars on our first new set and this is what we get. Have pictures and video of it all and no one seems to care or want to help. What a joke

This entire process has been nothing but a customer service disappointment. The furniture was ordered at the beginning of March, at which point we were told by our salesman that the majority of the order will deliver Mid-April and the remaining piece would be delivered by Mid-May. We did not receive any pieces until the beginning of July, and we just received the final piece at the end of August. I understand that there have been multiple reasons for delay given the current global condition. The real issue that I have is with the customer service received over the last six months. I called twice in May trying to reach the Salesman who assisted us for an update, both times I never received a call back and was told by another associate that, we dont receive any info from our supplier, youll know before we do. After we received the first portion of the order, I called the customer service line for an update on the remaining because the expected delivery had shown in stock that day for the last 30 days. The response I got from the customer service associate was that she would call with an update within 48 hours. I never received a call back. The final frustration of this entire process was the delivery of the final piece on August 28th. Our delivery window was 11:30 to 2:30. Received a call at 1:15 that they pushed it back to 2:30-3:30, at 2:15 they called to say theyre moving our delivery back to 4:30-5:30. They did not deliver until 5:30. When I expressed my frustration with the associate that My Wife had been waiting since 11:30 her response was, I have another truck, goodbye, and proceeded to hang up on me. I understand that now is a difficult time to manage the lead time of your products, but the service received from your Care Team has made my family regret the decision to do business with your company.

Absolute worst furniture store in Columbus to do business with. Establishment would not honor online pricing and when I asked to speak to a manager, she was conveniently out for the day. Sales rep was supposed to provide my information to the manager with a phone call the following day. Two weeks later and I have yet to receives a call! Can you say false advertising…. Lure you in the door just to get you to pay a little more! Price online now is reflective of price in the store…. How convenient!!!! Pathetic!!

Summary: HorribleWas waiting to leave a review in the hopes that my issues would be resolved but as this has been dragging on for this long, I felt I had no choice.Ordered several pieces of furniture some of which being part of a bed set. We received everything for the bed set except the bed frame at first. All the pieces we received had clear damage (lots of scuffing) with both of the dressers having malfunctioning drawers. Some of the drawers just slide open on their own or get stuck when trying to open them. Let the company know the day the furniture was delivered (July 22) and they finally sent someone out early September to look at the furniture. The furniture tech agreed there were major issues with the pieces but we have not heard from them since he left.After these pieces were delivered, we had the delivery scheduled for the bed frame. Delivery 1: they bring the headboard/footboard but forget the side rails and hardware to put the pieces together. Delivery 2: they bring the side rails but forget the hardware again. Delivery 3: they never show up. So I call the company to let them know no one showed for the delivery and was assured they would set something up to have the hardware sent. A few days later I go to check online, and they had another item ready for me to pick up that had already been delivered and no mention of the hardware.I went into the Polaris location to discuss the issues I was having and was assured by the customer service rep that the manager would reach out to me since the day I went in they had no manager working. I have reached out several times by email to the sales person who sold us the furniture (Beverly) who was amazing when we were buying the furniture but has since been useless in assisting with any issues.They have a 3 day return policy which is a joke as I raised issues with the furniture I received they day I got the pieces, trusting that the company would have some sort of resolution. Instead they dont do anything and then you go past the return policy resulting in the customer being screwed.

It’s has been over 1 year and I still have the incorrect furniture. I have repeatedly communicated with the Senior regional manager, and the couch continues to not be available. This person has promised to follow up, and they have not given me any updates.I went to the store today to try to get more assistance. It was NOT helpful. Every customer in the store was there with significant issues with their orders.I continue to receive calls trying to deliver the chaise without the sofa that it attaches to. I have asked them to put a note on the account that I will not accept the delivery until both pieces are available because I want to verify that the color lot numbers are correct. Despite requesting this note several times, I continue to be called for delivery and am warned that if I don’t contact them back they will assume that I no longer want the furniture.I have wasted DAYS of my life waiting for deliveries that come without the correct items and phone calls sitting on hold forever to tell them that I do not accept the order. I can’t use the website for the delivery issues for multiple reasons.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM 7 months later and they havent replaced the item deliver that their furniture repair guy said should be replaced . He touched up and filled the other imperfections and let us know that it was acceptable to him and he would not recommended that the other pieces be exchanged). He said we would hear from Morris within the week. We didnt. I called them a week or two after. They said they would replace the item and it would be ready January 6, 2021 and they would call us. Its January 16 and not call/text/or email. And dont believe that if you send us an email well follow-up...its not going to happenSales 0512046EH68 Our furniture was delivered June 25, 2020. Upon receipt we noticed many imperfections (damage where it has been poorly repaired, bare wood where it had been damaged, etc.) Talked with the store the next day...told to call Customer Service. Have called off and on for month (off because they asked for time due to short staffing). I sent in photos as requested. I sent them in again as requested again. Now it is October 14th and still no resolution.

Worked with the sales associated named “Lee” to purchase our couch back in June 2020 from the Polaris location. We were quoted a 6-8 week timeframe since we were ordering a custom couch and we were cool with that... and even expected a delay due to COVID. We had just moved into our new house and we still had our old furniture ... so we figured we would be patient no biggie.Well our original delivery date of late August came, they scheduled our delivery only to contact us the day before delivery to tell us they do not have our couch. In fact we were informed that our couch would not arrive until January 2021. As you could imagine we were angry.We went up to the store and spoke with the store “ “manager” Wendy as every time we would call the manager would be “busy” and could not come to the phone. We would leave a message and no one would return our call. Wendy looked at our account and informed us that couch would not in fact arrive until April 2021 (almost a year later). When we brought up canceling the couch... we would be told we would have to pay a cancellation fee multiple times, even though the manager and staff could never tell us whether our couch was actually in production, and when we would actually receive our couchWe asked about discounting our purchase due to the TERRIBLE customer experience we have been having and were told by Wendy that they can not discount anything until the item is delivered.... which they could not tell us when that would happen.Finally two weeks ago my husband contacts the store and just tells them to cancel the order. We got tired of waiting and not getting updated from Morris on the status of our order and tired of the terrible customer service we were receiving when this all was Morris’ fault... not ours.Then magically the store contacts my husband this past Friday and says our couch arrived and they wanted to deliver it. I was leery to accept the delivery until I knew our purchase was going to be discounted in some way.My husband decided to have it delivered to our Home yesterday (5/5/21) literally almost a year since purchase and the sectional is INCORRECT! Instead of receiving the sectional we ordered, we received an extra long couch that barely fits in our family room!!All this waiting and back and forth and the incorrect couch shows up. we tried to call the store and the manager refuses to speak to us on the phone. the sales representative stated the manager of duty “Jan David” if that’s his real name, is currently on a zoom call all afternoon and can not speak to us.The sales associate took a note down he claims and said he would call us back. He finally calls me back and states that the manager (who has yet to acknowledge us and the terrible experience we are having) said they would order us the correct piece free of charge but we wouldn’t receive it until December 2021-January 2021!!!! Come on almost a 2 year wait to get the correct item we ordered?!?! So documentation has been sent regarding the new piece being ordered or a discount being applied to our account.At this point we will be submitting a complaint with the BBB as well as looking into legal options. As we have tried our best to address the concern with Morris Furniture and they have done a terrible job at making this right.Buyer beware!!! Don’t shop here!! You will not receive what you ordered.UPDATE: this situation still has not been addressed of fixed by Morris. They asked us to come back to the store to select a new fabric TWICE so they could resubmit the couch order for us (which we would still need to wait almost another year for) and each time they call us to notify us that the fabric we selected is OUT OF STOCK. So we are STILL stuck with the incorrect couch that does not fit in our family room. Morris refuses to give us a steep discount of all this trouble and their staff has no desire to provide good customer service to get this fixed. At this point we have no choice to pursue legal action since we are still paying for a couch that isn’t even what we ordered.

Horrible experience. The salesman was great but it all fell apart after that. 8 times my furniture set was delayed with no explanation. I called into the store to cancel the order since its now past the delivery date I needed the set. (Im moving) Guy says no problem, cancelled. A week later I still dont have a cancellation confirmation so I try calling the store 11 times over the span of 3 days, no answer. I called another location which answered immediately, told them my story and the manager tells me yeah, that store is notorious for not cancelling orders until after the first of the month so they dont lose their commission....but of course he cant cancel the order for me. So I try calling again and finally someone answers me and tells me they cancelled my order....still didnt happen. I had to physically drive to the store and speak to a manager to get it resolved. A manager who was less than thrilled to help me and only gave excuses. Do NOT buy here.

Delivery of a product was rescheduled a couple times, when finally arrived, the merchandise was incomplete and damaged. I returned the merchandise, they gave me a receipt that says there was a refund on my Morris Credit card. When I called the bank it is not showing such refund. I went to the store to ask for help I was told, the manager will call me, Never happened. I called left a message still the same, no answers. They show no interest in solving your issues. Still waiting.

Connected to Ashley Furniture store, this place offers customization of almost any furniture piece... Whereas Ashley’s doesn’t do any custom work - they just stock their options and you choose from there. Large showroom with some decent prices - others seem a bit pricey.

Do not buy from this store. I bought a sectional less than a year ago, it’s having an issue with one of the electric leg rests. I paid extra for a warranty but can’t get anyone to answer the phone or emails to get it fixed. The store employees are no help either. Worst furniture buying experience I’ve ever had.

David Brentley at the Polaris location was wonderful to work with. He was personable, responsive in his communication, and VERY easy to work with. I felt as if he had my overall satisfaction and best interest in mind when selecting my sofa. I couldnt have asked for better service if I had hired a personal assistant. A+ customer service, which was refreshing!

We ordered a sectional from our salesman who stated the manufacturer is able to get the furniture to quickly due to the fact they stocked up on materials so it would not be long. Five months later we finally got word the product was in and were ready to deliver. I had to push the date back due to some conflicting things. The day of the delivery I was never contacted of when they would be out and received a call ten minutes before they arrived. We were then told by the driver that our corner sectional was not on the truck due to the fact they Distribution Center said they were not going to send it due to the truck being full. I contacted there delivery company and the service rep said they would be out a week later. Horrible experience we will never buy from them again.

I bought a sectional and a bedroom set on 4/11. The sectional and bed were in stock and delivered that same week. I was told the rest of my items would be in on 5/9 according to the sales associate. On 4/15 I call to add another dresser to my order and again was told that it would be here with the rest of my items on 5/9. I asked to add it to the account with my other furniture that was financed and was told that was fine. On 5/10 I went to schedule delivered and saw that my order had been pushed back until 6/9. I also had an outstanding balance that had to be paid before delivery. When I called they stated the added item could not be added to current account unless I went into the store to sign for it. This wouldn’t have been a problem if it was just explained to me when I called. As of 5/22 the items have been pushed back again! Now we are at 6/23. I called to cancel the items do to the frustration of the situation. Had I been told that there was delays and it could be several months I wouldn’t of cared. But being lied too is ridiculous! When I called to cancel the women I spoke with kept saying “I hope you have a backup plan because everyone is experiencing delays”. I ordered nightstand??? Do I really need a backup plan??? Also the nightstand I order are on Amazon for $100 cheaper a piece and will be here in 4days! So I have a plan! She also wouldn’t take my cancellation because she wasn’t the one to place the original order. So the sale associate that took my order had to call back. He then explained I had one piece in the store waiting to be delivered but 3 outstanding pieces. He wanted to schedule delivery on that item and wait on the others. I understand he was trying to keep me from canceling and get some of the items to me but I don’t want to sit at home and wait all day for each piece of furniture to be delivered separately!! So frustrating! So unless you like being lied too and have months to wait I wouldn’t buy from here.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THERE! If I could give a zero, I would. I bought some furniture there in August. They told me since it was a special order that I would have to pay up front. It was an expensive order. They also told me that because of covid affecting the furniture business, we would not get it until November. We were not in a hurry, so we accepted. Thanksgiving came and went with no furniture. We went up to the store to check on our order, and our sales person was no longer with them. We decided something didnt feel right so we decided to get a refund. The manager told us that if we did that they were going to keep 25% of our money because it was a special order. So we were going to have no furniture and they were going to keep 25% of our money! Needless to say, we had to wait or lose a substantial amount. WE GOT OUR FURNITURE IN MARCH! The manager kept telling us that one of the highest priorities of their company is integrity. What do you think?

Pro: Nice selection, eager sales staffCon: Poor Customer service. Sale person didnt provided full information. Product sold to us that they didnt have in stock.Our sales person was happy to sell us the furniture and pushed assessories (mattress encasement, insurance on the furniture, etc...). He failed to tell us that certain components needed, were not included in the price. He also sold us a product that wasnt even in stock and failed to mention this to us. Yes, they charged our credit card for the item. I called the direct store and had to leave messages (no live person picked up).After several calls with no return call, I finally reached a live person. Unfortuantely, she gave me incorrect information and said I would need to speak to the person who sold the items to me. Shocker....my messages were never returned. I called customer service several times to straighten things out during this process. That is how I found out that our sales person had not been forth coming about certain products. Each time I called customer service, I was on hold for 45 minutes or more. I had to call serval times as I would found out something concerning at each turn.I will not be returning to Morris Home Furniture...I spent way too many hours trying to resolve the issues with our purchase. No one reached out to try to rectify things even when they knew there were issues.Update: Still trying to address issues with my order. I was on hold for 31 minutes with customer care and then instead of someone answering...it went to a busy tone...after 31 minutes on hold. I was on hold for 45 minutes earlier today.I should have read reviews before I shopped here.UPDATE: Our furniture arrived...There are MANY imperfections and even areas where there was bare wood or splintered wood. If everything else had gone well, I would have just fixed it and said nothing. But there were over 20 photos I could have uploaded. I have realized that you cant actually see the photos in full size to see the glaring issues. The truth is...the cost of this furniture is far greater than the quality you receive. I would normally contact the company and ask for repair but I call uncle. Do NOT buy from Morris. They have the worst customer service. We bought 2 new couches and one of them the frame was bent they then proceeded to blame US for bending the frame. It has been around 7 months of us contacting them and no one seems to help. They say they will contact us and nothing. Not even the managers call us back. We wanted a new couch to begin with but honestly after all this back and forth we just want a return and we can’t even get that because customer service doesn’t call back after they “need to speak to a supervisor”You’re better off buying furniture at another place!

Has good product collection and price range. Staff is friendly and supportive.Saw some nice living room suits, chaise lounges, ottomans, dining room tables and a number of recliners and lift chairs.As usual same feedback similar to other furniture stores, they should improve product delivery service by reducing the transportation and installation costs which may help with sales growth and customer satisfaction. Also discounted prices dont look promising for few products for me they have still actualmarketprice.

Morris has the worst business practice. We found a twin bed for my son that had dresser drawers underneath. On the display there was one price. We asked the sales person if that price included everything we saw and he said it did so we purchased it. Keep in mind this bed does not make any sense without these drawers underneath because there are doors on the sides of the bed to store things behind the drawers. Anyway morris delivered the bed. After i get the bed assembled i realized the drawers did not come with it. I call customer service and they said it was probably a mistake and scheduled a new day to have the drawers delivered. Morris showed back up with a box but when i went to open it i found out they sent parts i already had. No drawers. We called the store directly and the person that sold us the bed was no longer employed there but a manager put herself on our order to give us updates. Her name was Wendy. Finally after not hearing much we reach out and get a new person who tells us the drawers are actually sold separately which was not how it was sold to us. However he even admitted his IPad showed only one price for the set. His name was Bill. Morris did not want to waive the cost of the drawers but instead offered 10% off. Had i known this from the beginning i never would have bought the bed. I told them I would rather they come pick the bed up and refund my money since they made a mistake. They said they cant do a refund because it had been in my house for three days. So keep in mind it was Morris that took over a month to tell me the rest of the bed set was sold separately. So mistake number 2 on their part. After arguing with a manager, Amanda, in customer care they finally said they will pick it up and redund my money but i had to pay the restock fee. They also said this as though they were doing me a favor because normally they would not return an item after it had been in the home for 3 days even though i explained multiple times that was because they never told me the drawers were separate. In the end i either had to take their deal of a percentage off the drawers or pay a restock fee or they were taking my return off the table. After all of that morris will get the bed plus the restock fee back and i get nothing because im not paying another 200 dollars for drawers they said came with the bed i already bought. The moral is Morris will get money from you even if they are the ones that messed up.

We bought new furniture back in October 2020, I was told that due to COVID-19 It could take up to 3 months, and I was okay with that. I keep checking my order and it said that it was supposed to be ready for March !! And now I checked and it says JUNE!! This is not a good customer experience. I would like a refund but I know you’ll keep 25% so I really hope that when my furniture is delivered I don’t have any problems because I cannot imagine how is your customer service.

We purchased bar furniture, bed, bedroom furniture over the labor day holiday 2020. I was told everything was in stock or it would be a few more weeks. I got bits and pieces of the items over the next several months. I still dont have everything with the bedset and bedroom furniture....its now 2/25/21. They keep changing the dates. I would never purchase from them ever again. I was completely mislead. They got their money and I got nothing but excuses. New scheduled deliver into April now.

I cannot recommend Morris, based on the service I received, enough. Their representatives were attentive, kind and genuine in their approach. They listened to my needs and they were MORE than accommodating with our requests. My wife and I walked away feeling content with our purchase based on the answers we received and price paid for our furniture.

If I could give someone no stars it would be Morris Home Furniture. They are the most dishonest unprofessional furniture company that we have ever dealt with. My family and I waited 8 months to receive a sectional couch only for it to come here broken. We waited 11 months for the center piece that came with the couch. We call their customer service we are on hold for hours and they never have an answer for us. I would never recommend Morris Home to anyone who cares about quality. We paid way too much money to sit and be uncomfortable on our broken couch. And you can forget about them fixing it: we are on hold as I type this. They leave us on hold because they do not care about their customers and their product quality. The manager and all of the employees on polaris and gemini location are all rude and disrespectful. I will never purchase anything from them again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Please save your time and money on another company that is WORTH IT!Technician came to our home inspected our sofa, and still we have not heard anything 4 weeks later. Not a single phone call or response back to email.They have no care in the world besides taking someone’s money.And typical like on all the reviews they copy and paste some BS response to email there customer care that does not respond or replace the defects they deliver. Do not buy from this company or any of there related companies (Ashley furniture, etc.) I could write a book about how terrible our service has been since last September. Customer service is extremely rude and unwilling to work with you for the mistakes that there company makes. Furniture is poor quality and arrives with several imperfections. If you notice anything wrong with it after they drop it off they tell you that you already accepted it into your home and there is nothing they can do about returns or exchanges. I’ve never been so dissatisfied with a company and the service they provide and can assure you I will never be shopping with this business again.

Purchased a recliner and told the salesperson I wanted the exact recliner I sat in. When the recliner was delivered I noticed it was a darker version. I stated something to the delivery people but they just dropped off the recliner and left, no assembly offering. I have decided to keep the darker version but received an email stating the recliner is now offered at a lower price. I keep calling the store and nobody ever answers. Currently been pending 20 minutes today and 30 minutes yesterday. I will now have to go into the store to find a human to see if I can get the recliner at the lower sales price and ask why I received the darker version. On a good note I was told the recliner would be here in March, ordered December 22 and delivered February 2.

Went shopping for some new furniture in Sep 2020, and ended up buying a sectional, dining room table set, childs bed, and more. The selection was fantastic and the salesperson was very helpful. Unfortunately, thats where the positivity ended.We were informed at purchase that COVID was causing delays in delivery. Thats fine, and we were anticipating it, but customer service was awful in providing updates, scheduling items, and following through.The kids bed delivery was not competent. First, the delivery team said they were missing slats and just left without assembling it. A few weeks later, the missing slats came in, and the crew came out again, only this time they said some feet were missing from the headboard, so they left again with no assembly. After tracking down the instructions, we discovered that there were no feet, and we did indeed have all the parts. So my wife and I put it together ourselves. The under-dresser arrived in a third delivery.The dining room table was the last piece to come in, 2.5 months after purchase. The delivery crew were high AF and reeked of weed. They put the table together and tossed loose parts all over the dining room. They finished without cleaning up the packaging material and left garbage all over my yard.Overall we are happy with the furniture, but based on the delivery and setup experience, wont be shopping at Morris again.

Wouldn’t recommend at all quality of furniture is horrible. Tired to get ahold of customer service so they could honor my warranty but of course they would never answer there phone lines. Now I missed the warranty by a couple of days and won’t honor. You will wait forever to get ahold of customer service for help they need more help. I am sorry but sharp metal shouldn’t be poking through a couch you barely sit on. The could care less about trying to make it right they already got my money.

Sales experience was great! But that’s where it ended. Incomplete delivery on the first attempt. Second attempt, delivery guys were unaware of “white glove” delivery and installed dining bench with an obviously bent/defective support bar. Three calls and over 2 hrs of wait time, new piece was finally ordered after warranty company came out to confirm (1.5 months later) exactly what I explained over the phone. 5 months later and still waiting on the part to be delivered (then have to schedule with warranty company to install, even though it’s an easy 5 minute fix). Financed and over half paid off, but still not fully functional.

12 weeks for my custom sofa. I was advised it was in stock and ready for delivery. Delivery comes and only 3/5 pieces were delivered. The couch is missing pieces, largely rendering it useless. The missing pieces were sent to Cincinnati! I was told they couldnt promise to bring the missing pieces tomorrow, despite THEIR error! A $4k room of furniture missing pieces....it makes me sick. All that and the delivery men didnt wear masks. If youre waiting on furniture, I hope you get all the pieces and that the delivery persons adhere to proper mask rules.

However, their sales and service have deteriorated with time that its NOT worth shopping at this place. The General Manager Wendy, does NOT keep her words. Her employees dont care for their customers. They go behind you until a sale is done, and then, they actually DONT CARE whether you got your delivery or not. Our delivery came missing parts. Reported to the Sales Manager and Wendy. The Customer Service ordered replacement and which came damaged. Customer Service placed an order for missing part and damaged part, but, the replacement order looks incomplete. July 4th order never still arrived. Still waiting. Tried to Call Wendy and spoke to her. She said she is going to place a new order and update me. Neither of what she stated she followed up with. Mistakes do happen at every place and thats not the issue. I do understand there is manufacturing delays due to Covid-19. Thats not the issue here, either. The issue is the FAILURE on the management (Wendy) and her staff, in following back with the customer especially when they say they will follow-up. Please DONT WASTE your time shopping at this place. We went to Havertys and VCF (right across from Morris) and were very happy with the Sales and Service they offered for rest of the furniture that we wanted. I just honestly giving my feedback based on the experiences I had with Morris. If morris continues to do business this way, they will not be in business soon.

Absolutely horrible. Ordered a new couch early December and initial delivery was 2/10. Check the status after not receiving a call to schedule home delivery on 2/10 and it was moved to 3/10, then 3/12. Called on 3/12, told the couch was on the truck should be in stock that night. I would get a call on Monday. Check status Monday and in-house date moves to 3/16. I call on 3/16 and was told that the truck broke down but it would be delivered that night. They let me set up a home delivery date of 3/22. Today, 3/22, I call to check in and now the delivery date is 4/21. The excuse now is Covid delays in the factory, even though the couch was already on the truck two separate times. Customer service constantly lying on the phone. Dont ever buy from Morris.

The only reason that I am giving this place one star instead of a big fat ZERO is because the sales people were super nice, but than again, thats their job. When they tell you 6-8 weeks for delivery, they really mean 6-8 months. We ordered six items from Morris back in June of 2020. We did receive our mattress on the original scheduled delivery date, but everything else much later and we still have yet to receive the two main items, a sofa and the matching chair. One of the two that we are missing, the sofa, was delivered damaged. The delivery people had to come back and get it, that was back in August. Now it is the middle of November and we just received the accent chair and one of the ottomans. This is so frustrating!! We havent had furniture to sit on since August because we got rid of our old couch when they delivered the torn sofa. I just looked online at their delivery page and it says that the pieces are still on order and the soonest expected delivery is on December 30. Which really means that we wont get our purchases until January of 2021, at the earliest. If we would have known that we wouldnt have new furniture until next year, we would have never bought from them! I tried calling their customer service number, but you have to wait so long. In conclusion, unless you want to wait 6-8 months for furniture, dont buy from Morris.

Only reason I gave them 1 stare it wouldnt let me post! RUN AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION-It took 4 1/2 months from the time we ordered until we received the furniture. When we did receive it the (Lazy Boy) did not work properly, I was told by Frank at the store that once it is in the house the store is not responsible, you need to call customer service. I guess I was supposed to test it out in the middle of the street before they brought it in the house . After over 5 hours over 2 days on the phone with customer service someone finally answered. They scheduled a 3rd party company to come out to repair and the service man said he couldnt repair it because he was not a Lazy Boy guy his words. We have yet to receive our furniture and members of the Morris team continue to delay the expected delivery date. Specifically told the salesperson and manager that we needed a new couch because the color on the previous had started to come off. We paid around $3000 for a couch, loveseat, and ottoman along with the protection plan because we were told if something happened and the couch was damaged it would be taken care of. Now the color is coming off of our current couch and when we called to get it looked at we were told it is not covered because it is wear and tear. They could send someone out if I wanted to pay extra though.

The salesperson is only responsible for selling. After the sale is over, they don’t care about you at all. There is no service, no phone calls, no emails. There is no protection during the delivery of your beloved things. They don’t know what causes scratches, bumps, etc. The delivery staff doesnt care, the sales staff cant find it and dont know what to do now. The delivery staff did not have any epidemic prevention measures, even the shoe covers that should be available when entering someones home. Things dont need to be moved, they just roll around in your house because he feels effortless. Even if it is the matching small box parts for large items, they actually let you go out to get them, instead of sending you home. The delivery time is arbitrary and does not arrive at the agreed time at all. It is simply an intolerable insult. When you are ready to buy your beloved items to make your warm home more cozy, I would never recommend you to buy any items from their company, it may be the beginning of a disaster .

We ordered new living room furniture on July 12th. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks for our order to come in. That got pushed back. Twice. We finally received our furniture today. Four of the five pieces we ordered have damage on them or evidence of having already being repaired. I was then on hold for over 90 minutes waiting to talk to a customer service representative to try to resolve this issue. I was pressured to try to let them repair my new furniture. I bought new furniture, not refurbished. I should not need to ask for a repair before the furniture is even set in my house. If I want to return the order, I was told you would keep 25% of my money as a restocking fee. I have been highly dissatisfied with this whole experience and will never spend another dime with your company.It took us driving to the store, but we were able to speak with the general manager, Wendy, and our salesperson, Lee. Upon talking to them and showing them the pictures of the damaged goods that were left in our house, Wendy immediately offered to return the furniture and give us a full refund. We were pleasantly surprised by this. They were both apologetic for the experience that we had and made sure that we got taken care of.In the end, we still dont have living room furniture, but at least at this point, we have not been strong armed into paying full new furniture price for refurbished furniture.

After 10 weeks, I called the sales rep on his cell phone three different times to get a status order, once he told me he was on a break, could he call me back, I said sure....I called 2 more times to no avail. Then trying to get a person on the customer service line is impossible, I just waited 45 minutes and had to go to a meeting, so I am out again...I will not do any future purchases with them. I have left a message with my phone number.I ordered furniture in November and was told it was in stock and would ship in january by the store associate. I recieved notification the couch would arrive yesterday..... we waited at home all day and no couch arrived. The online systems cannot find my order now. Aditionally, due diligence was not done. Morris did not email me yesterday about the order but rather called an old phone number to try and reschedule my delivery. The online tracking system first said the couch would arrive between 1 and 5 then it said 8 and 9 and at no point told me I needed to contact the store to reschedule. Finally, the number to call back to reschedule has a full mail box. This means even if I had revieved the message in a timely manner, calling back to reschedule would have likely resulted in disappointment once again.Update: furniture arrived damaged and no one has come to fix it.

When you call them, no one answers. When you leave a message, you dont get a call back. Very bad experience. Ordered $6k of furniture first week of Sep. Most of the order, including our bed, arrived damaged. Slept on floor for months waiting on replacements. After four delivery attempts we had all but one piece in our house I damaged. However, to use bed we had to go buy our own slats at Home Depot and we repaired a damaged piece ourselves in order to use it which “voided” warranty and/or replacement. Dozens of calls/emails to manager Wendy Kimmie have gone unanswered even though we were “promised” compensation once order was fulfilled. Do not recommend this company. Furniture is of average quality but horrendous customer service!

We purchased a sectional and an ottoman in August (paid in full) and were told there would be a 4-8 week delay in getting the furniture. While not ideal, the delivery date was set for October 24, 2020.A week prior to the original delivery date, I received a call advising that the delivery date was moved to December 5th. Then a week prior to 12/5, I received another call advising that the sectional delivery was being pushed to sometime in January (but the ottoman was available for delivery). This is unacceptable. I take issue with the thousands of dollars being taken from me in August and that I still do not have the goods that are paid for in full. I should have taken my money elsewhere originally and had a better experience and would have had a couch to sit on 4 months ago.

I would rate Morris as 0 or -1 star based on customer support. Call them and find it for yourself. It takes minimum 2 hrs for someone to pick up the call.And also be very careful when buying stuff from their dayton branch, I think they are running some fake business as they are selling the online stuff at online prices with a tag that you cannot return. I made a mistake of buying the furniture from that store and suggest everyone to compare the price before you buy. Also, I purchased furniture around may or June and the furniture is still pending delivery. When I call them, they say that the only option, I have is to wait till they deliver.Its a SCAM business so be very careful.

Terrible experience. We thought we were getting a deal but we got a nightmare. First drop off had only some of our furniture and it was damaged. Drivers didnt wear their masks properly and parked in the middle of the road so the school bus couldnt get by. The bus driver was forced to call the police. They tried to deliver a bed with no mattress (where would we sleep?). Second delivery brings wrong parts and box springs. Whenever we try to call it seems their customer service people have no clue what they are doing. They dont understand what parts we need and they keep sending us the wrong directions for a different bed we didnt order. Third delivery - the drivers were rude and still brought the wrong parts that were apparently made specially for us (yet still wrong). In the end my husband just went to the hardware store and fixed it himself. When I asked how they would make this right they wanted to give us an in store credit. Really? We will not shop there ever again.Moral of the story - no matter what the deal is - dont shop here!

They have a very knowledgeable staff. Ken was very patient and went out of his way to be certain that we got the furniture we desired. This is where the good part of the experience ends. He neglected to tell us that our bed frame required a box spring. Turns out that there is a several hundred additional fee for that. But since we didn’t know to order it our furniture is about to be delivered without a box spring. Also, we paid for a mattress encasement. Turns out they charged us for an item they don’t even have in stock. We have been attempting to contact the store but nobody ever answers. They never return calls. The customer service line is useless. the wait times are abysmally long and the customer care people appear to be able to do little other than say “I’m sorry.” My wife went there today to try and get the encasement, which they didn’t have. Oddly, the 30 day mattress trial requires that you have it in an encasement. Seems like we will be violating the trial before we even get mattress. I would cancel the whole order today and walk away from this but it would probably be too difficult to get our money back. I have no faith at all in the integrity of this company.I would strongly encourage you to look for furniture elsewhere.

I walked into the Polaris location this evening with my wife and son. We went up the escalator and were greeted by a salesperson, but I would hardly call it that.I believe her name was Candace (not totally sure). She approached us and asked us what we were looking for. I told her we were buying a house, and just browsing for options. She proceeded to tell us, well, we do CUSTOM here, so if you need it soon, you wont get anything for at LEAST 6-8 weeks.I then told her we had been looking around town and that there were plenty of options available immediately. She seemed shocked and asked us where. I told her that Big Sandy had plenty of items available right away. She just replied with Wow.I told her we would just go elsewhere, and we left. Not in a very long time have I felt so unwelcome as a consumer at ANY business.I would assume that ESPECIALLY during a pandemic, where many Americans are tightening their purse strings, that your company would do whatever it takes to make a sale, or at the very least, make us feel like we were allowed to shop in your store.Perhaps it was because my family was dressed in t-shirts and shorts that she felt the need to force us out the door. Either way, Morris lost out on a potentially huge sale, as we are looking to furnish an entire new home. This was a truly embarrassing display of customer service (or lack thereof).Your loss. Ken was an amazing salesman, knew everything about every single manufacturer and able to provide a detailed history. You dont often see that dedication to the craft in sales anymore. The pieces of furniture, sectional, bedroom set and everything is as amazing as it was in the store. Delivery was on time and as schedule. Just wish Covid wasnt around because our white glove delivery was dropping off in the garage and we had to lug everything inside and set up ourselves, wish they would have provided a discount to that delivery.

Customer service is lacking! Received the wrong item a month after the estimated delivery date. Had to take multiple hours off work for someone to come look at the item, or try to deliver part of the order, not the whole order. There are so many more issues these are just a few. They then were going to deliver, again a partial order to the wrong address. No one returns over calls or emails. At this point I just want my money back! We have been dealing with this since November, when we ordered.Update: whomever I spoke to yesterday about canceling the delivery, did NOT cancel it! Just got a phone call about the delivery.. again i canceled it.By the way, this order was placed in November!I tried to contact thru the email provided. We will see if I actually get a response.

My husband and I were in the market for a large sectional in Columbus, Ohio.We shopped around the Morris Showroom and were introduced to two associates that were eager to help us. We ended up designing and purchasing a custom sectional after spending almost 4 hours with them. We signed our documents after specifically checking every intricate detail. We even got an email from Trae a few days later assuring us that our sectional item details were all in place for this to be made in the coming weeks.1 week later I got an email stating that there was a “Buyers Order Problem” stemming from their vendor. Quoting out of an email from Trae- he states “ It seems that even after looking deep into it, we were incorrect about the pricing of the sectional. The leather we choose was a lot higher of a grade than we previously imagined. I attempted to battle it out with our Orders team, to see if there was a workaround we could impose in order to push this through. But it just wasnt doable, because the price almost doubled“He advised us to cancel the order, or choose another sectional.I was shocked and frustrated that this could even happen. I emailed him back that this issue needed to be addressed immediately, and to cancel or chose another couch isn’t an option. Coming from a business owning family- I know what it morally, ethically and legally right to correct this issue.My husband and I had sold our previous couch and are needing a couch, not just wanting a couch at this point. So far we have been left in the dust about this issue. Trae has said he would contact us back with any update- but i have not heard back in two weeks. No one from the store will call us back either.I’m so heartbroken and disappointed.

I did not have a great experience...my review is meant to be informative, better prepare the consumer, not turn you away from shopping there. I am ever conscious that all reviews effect the livelihood of employees and I have to believe things that go wrong are not done on purpose. The weaknesses in an organization does not reflect all. My sales person David was FANTASTIC! His ability to assess and adapt to his buyer got him the sale. Quick and efficient. Unfortunately my recollection will forever be my negative experience after. Let me make clear everyone is incredibly nice...if you can wait 20+ minutes to actually speak to an associate. Long story short it took 4 weeks to finally get my furniture. My furniture was lost 3 times? How does that happen! I love my pieces. Very good quality. Just be prepared, dont get your hopes up the furniture will arrive when they say, and be pleasantly surprised if it happens.

To be fair -- my salesman was fantastic!After reviewing the recent reviews, the only thing I can say is at least I am in good company. I am at the beginning of what looks to be a long road. I ordered furniture December 14th. Delivery was scheduled for last Wednesday, I received a call that night at 8p -- one of the drivers was injured during a previous delivery -- delivery had been cancelled. Thats 1 day away from work waiting on a delivery. Allegedly, a special route in my area was added for today. I called to confirm because I didnt receive any of the text notifications I had gotten last week. Of course, no, my order was not loaded on the special truck today. A supervisor will call me back within 24-48 hours! When the delivery was cancelled last week, I was assured my delivery charges would be refunded. Well, I havent seen that happen as of yet. Im half inclined to dispute the charges with my credit card company and cancel the order altogether!

Our couch was damaged before it was even delivered. 11 months later, 10+ hours on hold with customer care, 2 attempted fixes by a technician and STILL NOT FIXED. The store managers have no power to escalate the situation. The managers at customer care are conveniently “not in” and you never get a call back from a manager when you are told they will call you. I have never had (and still having) the worst experience buying one bed. This is my first time using Morris Furniture and will be my last. I’m currently sitting on hold trying to reach their Customer Care line (my 7th ATTEMPT as I’ve always dropped around 45 mins of still being on hold) for over an hour. We purchased a bed and mattress, in store, the beginning of September with a 4-6 week delivery timeframe. We never got notified of first delivery (we were in contact with our bank to start a dispute on the charge) when I finally got in touch with someone at the store. Delivery date was updated. The delivery drivers show up with half one color and half another color of the bed. They leave the half that’s the right color - just boards and hardware - lying around my 20 month olds room and tell us we’ll get a cal next day for the rest. Never got a call. I have to attempt Customer Care - for the third time with no answer. I finally reach a rep at the store who puts me on hold for 13 mins and never comes back to the line. I call again and reach someone who says his manager, Wendy, has to deal with my problem and will call me back after her meeting. Over a week later and “Wendy” has never attempted to contact me. I do get a call back from Customer Care who sets up my next date where the wrong items we’ll be removed and the correct items will be delivered and put together (we paid for delivery and for the bed to be put together). I get a confirmation email of the details and advised I’ll be contacted the day before with my 4 hour window. I never get contacted so the day of I track my delivery on my confirmation email and it says “Delivery Order Number Not Found”. I call Customer Care and hang up after another 45 minutes. I call the store and get an associate who tells me that the company released a lot of Customer Care staff so all hold times are much longer than normal and more customers are calling in as well. What kind of business decision is that? He puts me in touch with the associate who originally sold me the bed because apparently he’s the only one who can help. I get a text from him the next day that he needs pictures of what was left. This is now a week of my 20 month old living in a danger zone that the company knows about and seems to not see as a priority to resolve on their end. He sets me up with a THIRD date that the wrong items will be removed and the new items will be delivered AND my bed will be put together. I get the 4 hour window yesterday and they text me 10 minutes before they show up and they are 3 hours early. What if we were not home? Why provide a window if you’re not going to stick to it by several hours? The men show up irritated that they were not told they had to remove items. They eye rolled and huffed the whole time at my house. They dropped the boxes on the first floor and said their order does not have notifications to put the bed together so they can’t. I had to ask them to take the boxes upstairs and not leave them in my entryway because they were ready to leave all of the boxes sitting by my door. They put them against the pack and play and my daughter’s toys instead of the Giant empty wall. I have to ask them to put the boxes against the wall instead of things my daughter uses every day. The whole time they are giving my husband and I am attitude. They did not wear masks and we live with a high risk individual during a health pandemic. The moving company that moved our entire house in, that took 3 hours, wore masks the whole time. The 15 minutes these men were there should have been with masks on. So, we are AGAIN at square one. No one at the store is answering - which does not surprise me and I’ve been on hold with Customer Care for over an hour and 20 minutes this time.It would literally be faster to go to the forest, chop down your own wood, build your own bed, stain it, and set it up yourself. And the plus would not be having to deal with the multiple associates who seem to have zero answers, no care about our situation, and no real help.

I wish there were zero stars. It was my mistake that I ordered from them even after reading all these comments about bad service, worst quality and never ending wait of furniture to arrive. Those comments are true.So here’s the story:We were looking looking for furniture for our entire house we just moved into and unfortunately we ended up visiting Morris/Ashley. Our order was worth around ~8500 including multiple items for living room, 2 bedroom setups, wine pantry and we other smaller items. While we didn’t have much issue picking smaller items from the store like wall decor, there was major issues with the furniture delivery.First part of our order arrived within couple of weeks(living room setup). The TV console was chipped from the top(Pretty visible damage), end table was out of balance with one shorter leg, visible cracks and chips in one of the books cases. Decker chest also got delivered with this first delivery which had bubbles in the paint. I was more than willing to return the entire batch but I called the sales guy and he insisted that we keep the furniture on the promise that he will get it replaced. So unaware about how this company works, we kept the items and I believe that was the biggest mistake we made.Now we got a call from customer service and they scheduled a technician visit to review/fix the damaged items. He agreed end table has a manufacturing defect and hence I was not willing for him to do the patch work or padding to make it look balanced. That is not why I ordered everything brand new. He also agreed for the replacement of decker chest due to bubbles in paint. So we were like OK till this point.Now starts the wait for the exchange of existing damaged items and delivery of pending items. They never called us regarding the technician visit or what were the next steps. But on 14Nov we got a delivery confirmation for decker bedroom set up and the delivery guy checked the furniture in truck itself and said 2-3 items are damaged so we refused the delivery. Sales guy was still asking us to keep it but whats the point of keeping it now, and keep following up for the replacement.So same day customer service calls to confirm on why refused the delivery and answer was pretty simple “Damaged furniture”. I started telling her all my frustration for so many weeks and how we are wasting our time trying to follow up/ stay home for delivery and ended up not getting anything in the right order. She was resisting at first and then said why did you even accepted the delivery for living room if it was damaged. I was like because my sales guy told me to. Finally she agreed to replace the delivered and damaged items. I was again hopeful that things are falling in place as she said multiple items are now schedule for 11/20 including end table and replacement for chest.Now comes 11/20 and no prize for guessing but the bed set up was again damaged. And there was no replacement chest or end table. They did send the decker mirror but without dresser :) with a 2 yr old in house I don’t want to keep a stand alone mirror on the floor. Delivery guy was helpful as he himself spotted the damage and called customer service to report the return. So the entire delivery again was sent back due to damaged delivery and missing items.I tried calling the store and was unable to reach any of the sales guy. And one person listened to our situation on 11/20 evening but eventually hung up on us may be because it was almost 7pm and thats when they close. But still is it justified? May be not.Only 11/21 I again called the customer service named Patty and she said there are no notes from your last call and that the delivery was not scheduled for end table and chest but it was promised on 11/14 call. So I had to again explain the whole story to her and she didnt sounded much concerned. But said she will talk to her boss and call me back for these 2 items. To be honest I dont think I will ever receive a call or get this whole mess sorted. It may take months based on my current experience with how this company works.

I purchased and paid for a sofa at the Morris Home Polaris store on June 4. This was not a custom order. I was told delivery would take four weeks. I keep checking periodically and the current information says it will now be the end of August (upon availability). I called Customer Care and after 45 minutes on hold, someone answered and told me because of the virus, they could not predict a delivery date. I have since emailed them twice and no one has gotten back to me. Very poor customer service! At this point, I’m not sure what my options are.

Very Poor customer service. I have called this store multiple times and left voicemails with no return calls. My furniture delivery was pushed back 3 months and I was not notified what so ever. I would not recommend purchasing from this store unless you enjoy paying for furniture you will not receive for 6 months and also like being ignored via phone.

Completely awful experience, the sales people are terrible and lack basic knowledge of any products and flat out LIE to you when you are supposed to get your furniture. I dont almost 3000 dollars just for my furniture to NOT be delivered when promised and then not even have the chair I purchased be in stock and have to wait 3 months for it to even be delivered. The worst part is you cant even get a customer service representative on the phone to get any answer or any type of help from anyone...DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY

Poor quality product. This goes for Morris home, Ashley furniture, better sleep shop and whatever else comes out of their factory. The protection plan and retailer work together to make sure they dont replace your product knowing theyre selling faulty products. Repairs are very minimal as well. Staff are hired to be crooks, smile to make a sell then act as if they never seen know you before when you have an issue.

Chinwe and Lee at the Polaris location took very good care of me. They were attentive, polite and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything.They helped me find the perfect dining room table. I will definitely return to buy more furniture.Many businesses don’t focus on customer service the way they should anymore but Morris Home gets it right.

Changing this only due to character limits and a long story...Heres the short version of my experience with Morris. We bought a bed for my son in early June. The bed arrived damaged, was lazily and incorrectly assembled which caused more damage, and was missing the correct hardware to be assembled properly anyways. It took a total of about 10 cumulative hours on hold across about 5 different phone calls over the course of almost 2 months, filing a BBB complaint and a credit card dispute, to get a replacement bed sent. Replacement bed finally shows up, and doesnt make it off the truck. It was more damaged than the original. The delivery guys said it appeared they had just repacked someone elses return due to it only being padding wrapped instead of in a box (some pieces of the bed were in original boxes), and pointed out evidence where it appeared they had painted over damage. I sent both beds back and am absolutely done with Morris. It feels like they just spat in my face by delivering not only damaged, but previously returned items and trying to pass them off as new after the insane fight I had to go through, just to try to get what I paid for. Also, the canned response from Morris (youll notice its the same on every bad review) is utter B.S. They WILL NOT ever call or email you back. The whole goal it seems is for you to be so inconvenienced by the process that you give up. We still dont know if were going to have to fight them to get our money back, but that was another 2 hour hold just to inform them both beds were returned and we expected a full refund. We wound up going to Value City, and their items are backordered, they were honest about it and much cheaper. But my son now has no bed for another month because of this fiasco. Zero Stars, Avoid Morris like the plague unless you really enjoy misery.

DON’T BUY! I ordered living room furniture June 18th just received it September 8th, I called and called no one returned or I was on hold for 2 hrs, Also I paid for white glove delivery which means they would set it up how I liked it, the men came with no mask on and dropped it at my door! One couch was uncovered as I opened the other one it was dirty also the staples was messed up . I paid a pretty penny for this! I’m so disappointed, wish I can post pics!!

Great experience! Awesome customer service! Quick delivery and great value for the price. I wavered about purchasing a warranty and my sales lady took off my delivery charges, so I’d not spend more than I wanted for the warranty/purchase! The delivery guys moved my old furniture for me and even put down my new area rug I purchased from another store!!! Definitely going back and already referred them out to friends and family!!!

Dont expect your furniture to arrive anytime soon. We ordered a table to which we were told it would take 2 weeks to arrive in November. Turns out it keeps getting pushed back further and further. We were most recently told it would arrive new years eve. Now the arrival is January 26th and my guess is well be notified it will be sent in February, etc.

Awful experience. Zero customer support, over hour hold times to call customer care, no one answers at the local store and the quality is subpar. We had a terrible run-around when purchasing, deliveries continued to be pushed out, the sofa came damaged, they didnt want to replace, finally did and now 1 year and 4 months later, the frame is broken. I called customer care and was on for 1 hour 43 minutes and was told they werent going to help and that a manager would tell me the same (also, that it would take 72 hours for a call-back). Finally, they agreed to send out a third party repair tech and waive the fee (if the tech needed to come back, it would be at our cost) - they said they would call us within 72 hours. 4 days later, we have heard nothing. I have no hopes this will get resolved. They, also, shut down their email as a channel of communication. Absolute worst overall customer experience of anything we have ever purchased. Terrible quality, lack of accountability and willingness to help. NEVER purchase from Ashley/Morris - all the bad reviews you read whether on the BBB, Angies List or Google are all correct. I would rate them less than one star. Buyer beware that if there is an issue following purchase, you are going to have a long road ahead of you in terms of communication and follow-through.10/23/20 Update: The Response from the Owner reply did not help. I responded immediately to the email with the information and never heard back. I had to call a week ago, again, and waited for another couple of hours on hold until they finally scheduled a repair. The repair man showed up on 10/21/20 and said the product is defective and he cant fix it and that we should have a replacement (loveseat has the same structural defect). We went into our local store with this information and they said they need to get back with us. They were supposed to have called us 10/22/20 with the results and still nothing. I have emailed, called, gone into the store and no one gets back with us.Still nothing as of 10/27/20.Update: they finally agreed to come and pick up our couch to take it to the warehouse to see if it is truly a manufacturers defect. They sent two guys over to take it on 11/3/20. Those guys told us the warehouse is terrible and wont do anything for us but they would take it and try. They said the warehouse would call us within a week to let us know the status. Today is 11/14, on 11/17 it will be 2 weeks since we have heard from them. We are trying the manager today. We dread the thought of calling the warehouse or customer care and waiting for, at minimum, an hour and a half on hold. Hard to believe they took our couch with no feedback 2 weeks later.Update 12/2/20: its been 4 weeks and our couch is still gone. The manager (Dylan) that was trying to figure it out is out of the office so we were transferred to another one (Jan) 12/1/20 and left 2 messages, they havent called back.Update 1/5/21: after 7 weeks, we finally got our couch and loveseat repaired and back (at some cost to us). Out of all people we spoke with throughout this ordeal, Dylan, was the first person who really tried to help us and when we got connected to Clarence, he found the location and status of the furniture and put a rush on it to get it delivered by Christmas Eve...they took our loveseat, at that point, to be repaired and we got that on 1/2/21. Ordered a couch through Ashley Home Furniture in Dublin, Ohio and delivery was scheduled 2 months after I purchased it. They proceeded to delay it an extra month. Once that month was up they called again and delayed it another month. When I tried to call their service line I was put on hold for over an hour. Had I known about the massive delays in delivery I would not have ordered my couch from them. Even though this happened in 2020 and there is reason for some delays I still would not recommend anyone purchase furniture from this company unless they’re content with a very slow process in receiving their furniture.1/4/2021 - I received my couch 5 months after I originally purchased it. Thankfully they delivered it in my house when I didnt originally pay for that service.

Absolutely terrible customer service, short of walking physically into the store to talk to a human in person--which is entirely not desirable in this COVID age. We purchased a Jonathan Louis custom sectional in January, delivered in April. In the 6 months that weve had it (a higher-end sofa, mind you), the chaise and cuddler are already starting to fail--permanent body indents. My wife and I are NOT large people, and we do not treat our furniture roughly. So I contacted JL customer service, and they, in turn, needed our receipt to diagnose the problem. EVERY TIME I CALL MORRIS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I HAVE BEEN PLACED ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES before I finally hang up because I dont have the time for that. THEY DONT HAVE A VOICEMAIL BOX?! We finally got the receipt by going into the store. Then JL lets me know the design of the cuddler and chaise are different than the middle single chair of this sectional--neither have springs, whereas the middle single chair does. And this design element (Ill call a FLAW) now accounts for my sagging furniture. So, not willing to do anything (yet), JL sends me back to Morris to have a technician come out to inspect my furniture. To date, I am TRYING and TRYING to schedule this, but we keep playing phone tag, and I miss their calls. So when I try to call back--guess what--ON HOLD. Unfortunately my work schedule (a) doesnt allow me to go into the store readily (COVID aside), and (b) doesnt allow me to be on hold forever. Im trying to rely on the JL rep, with whom Ive been e-mailing, to try to give me a humans phone number or e-mail address with Morris so I can get somewhere, JUST TO SCHEDULE A TECHNICIAN TO COME VISIT. Had I (a) known the JL furniture would have failed so soon; (b) better yet had a sales rep that would have told me that the majority of this high-end sectional does NOT have springs under it; and (c) known that Morris Customer Service would be so dreadful, I would have never made my purchase here. Rest assured I will not do it again, either. And if I had to guess, Im either (a) going to get stuck with this underperforming sofa, or (b) Morris will (reluctantly) take it back, but with a hefty restocking fee. So far, the customer has been had.

I ordered a bed, mattress, and box spring four months ago. They continually push back the delivery date. They have done this four times so I went back to the store and cancelled the order. Now I can’t get my money refunded, they told me it would take two weeks still no refund.I called the store twice and was told both times a manager would call me, that never happened. Don’t waste your time or money. We purchased an expensive motorized sectional and the buttons quit working shortly after. They replaced it with another broken piece and never returned our call. We called the same day it was dropped off and apparently they don’t honor your warranty on the replacement piece even though it was defective from day one. Will never return to this store. Our first purchase, an expensive bed with an adjustable base was flawless but after this they have forever lost our business.

Bought multiple items from Ashley/Morris Furniture the last few years. The Polaris store was adequate with servicing my needs. The real problem with them is their customer care team and follow up. Many delivery issues and will not get back to you on timely manner if ever. My breaking point came on my last couch when it had an issue. They sent out at independent contractor who said it was not repairable. Since I’ve only had it for less than 6 months, I should get a new couch under warranty. I sent multiple emails and called customer with no luck on response. Finally, I got thru to someone today who said their solution was to send couch back to their wh for repair. So another 3 weeks? My advice is not to buy anything thru Morris/Ashley ever. They have terrible customer service and follow up. Promises broken.

Purchased furniture on 6/21/2020 was told it would be here at the end of August, when that date came we reached out to Morris to get an ETA, they told us only half our order was in and the rest wouldnt be here until the first week of September. Reached back out to the store on 9/4/2020, know it could be here on there next truck which is 9/23. Went into store to talk with Store Manager she couldnt give us a date or anyone to get into contact with.Will never purchase from them again. Worst customer service ever!

This will be a long review, however if you want to save time, I will never go to this store again. It has been the worst experience I have ever had with any store ever. I bought a bedroom frame, mattress, dresser with a mirror. My order # was 0515046FX78.Issue #1: I bought a bedroom set in the middle of May. Upon delivery, the delivery team told me I did not pay for installation, I told them I did. But by the time I got through to customer service who validated my claim that I did purchase installation, the drivers had left.Issue #2: I decided to build my furniture myself vs waiting for delivery again. Halfway through the build I realized that I was not provided all the parts to put my furniture together. I contacted customer service and they told me that their supplier does this from time to time and they would have to contact a local woodworker to build me my parts. I asked if they could just take the parts off the store model, they immediately said no. It took 4 weeks for my parts to arrive. During this time, the furniture I bought, took over my entire bedroom and I could not put the mattress down on the floor b/c of limited space. For one month I slept on an air mattress in my living room while my bedroom was uninhabitable.Issue #3: The salesman I worked with, said I would be financially compensated for my trouble. I contacted him numerous times and he said that customer service takes care of that. Upon talking to customer service, they said the store handles that. I told him this information, and asked him to figure it out. That was eight weeks ago and I have now called and left messages repeatedly, I have not have had my calls returned. Mind you, the answering machine says that someone will call you back in 24 hours.Issue #4: I also got a mirror with the dresser I bought. When I ordered my set in the middle of May they said the mirror was on back order and I should expect it at the beginning of July. I was thrilled when they called in June to tell me my mirror had arrived and they would deliver it early. When I received the mirror, I noticed it was the wrong mirror! Apparently this dresser had two different mirrors for this set, one is child size and one is adult sized. He had ordered the wrong mirror. I went to the store and had someone at the store order me the correct mirror.Issue #5: I got a call telling me my new mirror was in. On the day of delivery, I got another call from the delivery team, telling me my mirror was not in and they would call me when it comes in.Issue #6: When my correct mirror was finally in, when the delivery team arrived, they did not have documentation in their notes to take back the old mirror. They eventually did take the mirror, however it was another instance where sales, customer service and delivery did not communicate with one another.I bought this bedroom set in the middle of May, it took till the end of August to complete my order. So far I have only received a credit for the delivery which is very minimal. The store eventually gave me financial compensation as this was in the form of a $200 store gift card. For all the aggravation, I found this amount to be laughable. For obvious reasons, I will never go back to this store again. The idea of going back into this store to use this gift card is insulting. I ended up exchanging this gift card for an amazon gift card online b/c I will never shop in this store again! Do NOT go here, the sales team, delivery team, and the customer service team are horrible and dont communicate with each other. Their are many furniture stores in the Polaris area, I regret ever stepping foot in this store. If I helped one person avoid the headache that I went through, then I will be happy that I saved you the aggravation.

Dont waste your time here! I will never, ever, do business with them or any of their affiliate companies again. We had four deliveries and still didnt get our issue resolved. The first delivery had broken pieces. The second delivery had missing pieces. The third delivery had the wrong replacement pieces. The fourth delivery had the wrong hardware to put the pieces together. Four deliveries later, and we still couldnt put our bed together. I gave up and went to a hardware store to make something work. In addition, some of the delivery people were very unprofessional. One had a big attitude and acted like it was a big inconvenience to have to bring the items into my house. I was on hold for hours when calling their customer service line, and didnt get anywhere. To say Im upset is a gross understatement. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Morris Home!

Reading these reviews now and should have read them BEFORE I ordered from this place. I don’t recommend this company let alone the Polaris store.Bought our custom couch and loveseat in March - it’s July 23rd and we still do not have it. Our sales rep rubbed me wrong from the start (Candace I think idk) because we told her specifically we had been working with another lady and she just proceeded to take over the sale and close the deal and not bring her colleague in which we later saw was in the store that day - I despise sales persons like that having worked in sales before.Anyway, we asked her from the start how long this would take given the city had just gone into lock down and it was the start of COVID, she said I have to tell you 10-12 weeks but it won’t be more than 6-8. Reminder it was March. I was ok with that because we were building a new home and it wouldn’t be ready till the beginning of July anyways. She said it would come in and they would hold it in their warehouse and deliver it when we were ready. I’ve been in my house 23 days without any furniture to sit on and am absolutely at my wits end.I have been calling the store since July 3rd because customer service has a 75+ min hold time and the store phone just rings and rings and goes to VM. I left two or three messages between 7/3 and 7/6 and not a single person called me back. Their VM says give them 24 hrs....I finally reached someone at the store on 7/7 who said oh your furniture has been here since last week let me get you scheduled for delivery. He scheduled me for 7/13 and said I would get an email the night before to select my delivery time slot. Guess if I got an email? I did not. I waited till the morning of 7/13 and called the store and had to reluctantly be a Karen and demand a manager (Lee) who said my couch was in but not my loveseat and that’s why they weren’t going to be delivering and why I didn’t get an email.... so why did your associate schedule me? And why did no one call me when they decided they wouldn’t be fulfilling the scheduled delivery? And why for a custom order were the two pieces not shipped together? UghHe said he was going to look into this and call me back. He has not called me back to date. Had to send my husband to the store today (better him than me at the moment) and he spoke to another manager (Wendy) who says today (7/23) that everything is in (but refused to tell him since when it’s been in or offer an explanation as to why no one has called us to advise of this). She said we should be getting emails advising it’s in. No emails.I knew ordering custom would cost extra and take time but this experience has been completely unacceptable. It’s been lack of or miscommunication from the start and I’m going on week 18 of no furniture. If I could get my money back I would take it to big sandy or value city and buy something they have already told me they could deliver this Saturday, but Morris will not offer refunds for any reason on any custom orders.I will never ever buy from this store again or refer any family or friends there. It isn’t just the local store, it’s the overall disorganization if this company as a while. So disappointed. And still have no couches.

Not even a 1 Star- The worst customer service experience of my life. Purchased a houseful of furniture and a mattress in April/May of 2018. Mattress wore strangely earlier this year and spent MONTHS attempting to speak with a live person. Finally get a service call arranged in September, earliest date was 6 weeks out, but was confirmed defective in October. After several no show delivery dates that my husband & I took off work to be available for, were finally brought the WRONG mattress!! Another missed delivery this past Wednesday when the delivery crew came nearly two hours earlier than my targeted window time, and in the process of reaching my house smashed the Christmas lights along my driveway we spent the whole weekend installing! After speaking with our Morris home manager with our grievances, never got the email we had been promised yesterday. Called corporate office in Fairborn, still no return call. Clear violation- breech of contract- I paid over 3k for a mattress that I have YET to receive. My attorney is going to love hearing of this. Steer clear of doing business with this company.

DO NOT purchase furniture from this company. I ordered $4,000 in furniture 2/2/20. It all arrived damaged and they will not make an exchange or make this right other than to promise soon. This debacle has been long before the pandemic. One of the desks even had a 10 inch scratch in it that someone attempted to hide with a scratch pen or marker. No excuses for this especially now that even pools and gyms are opening.
