Have been to many auto repair shops over the years. I have never been treated as well as I have at Avenue Auto Repair. Renee got me scheduled in immediately and they diagnosed and fixed the issues in one day at a great price. I will be taking all of my auto needs to Avenue Auto repair as I trust that they will fix what needs to be fixed and not try to find things that arent wrong. Excellent service at an excellent price. Was in Columbus water pump went out they first told me Thursday to fix it I explained I was from out of town and needed to get back home today and with in an hour the had the car in the shop working on it to get me back on the road was highly appreciated and thanks to the whole crew there we have made it back home safe. We were traveling long distance through the area to visit family when our car broke down. It was right before New Years weekend and late in the afternoon. The people at Avenue Auto agreed to help us and tackled a big job on New Years Eve. Everyone there was kind, helpful, professional and knowledgeable! We were blessed to have found them, and they did a great job on our car repair!!! The people in the Bexley/Columbus area are very fortunate to have Avenue Auto Repair!

My Dad recommended this shop to me. I dropped off in the evening, and my car got complete brake job done by the afternoon the next day. Thats speedy fast. Thanks to the Mechanic/Owner. Im sure the brakes will do well. I would have liked to get a tire rod replaced by you, however the front desk lady Renee informed me I should do business elsewhere, so I will. This lady is so rude and unprofessional. She upset me n I upset her over the issue I had with the price quote. Iman Army Veteran served 30+ years and simply did not want to get taken. She did do the right thing with the cost either because of you or she finally spoke to who I spoke to, nonetheless she was so nasty to me. I cantbe the first customer to have gotten this problem with her. Arguing with a $$$ customer is a no no. Im a professional so I like to stay in that matter. But she raise her voice, I rose my voice, then i just said alright and thought to myself I wont forget altercation. Customer service and quality work make a business. You would have received 5 stars from me had I not had that awful experience with your front desk person. Please talk to her, I believe u do good work. I just thought you should know what she is doing at the front desk n over the phone. She is taking the liberty of running your business a bit much when she tells me, a $$$ paying customer they are no longer welcome and the dealership should be lowest on whatever future repair stick with them. While she is in the office, I will do just that😕

I heard about this place through a friend. I needed brakes and rotors and every place I called was really expensive. Avenue Auto Repair came in way less than the dealership. The staff was friendly and didn’t try to take advantage, which is hard to find these days. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want good, honest work at a great price.

Renewed my faith in humanity. This place was fast, courteous and so reasonably priced I dont know how they stay in business. If you take your car to a mechanic, I wouldnt take it anywhere other than Avenue. Period. Tow truck said an hour, was there in 20 minutes. Better than the best

My 1989 Ford f150 broke down just as I was headed to work. My regular mechanic was not available and referred me to Avenue Auto. They not only took good care of my truck, these guys got it in right away late in the day, fixed it same day... absolutely fair price and beyond outstanding professional service... excellent all around. Very unprofessional staff at the front desk. I brought my car for some A/C work. They said I needed a relay, when in fact they just wired the car wrong. I quoted $700 to fix a problem. I later took my car for another opinion and it was mis-wired and he charged me $116 to fix. This could have been and expensive mistake.

My car was misfiring and they fixed it right away when the car dealer said their was nothing wrong and they even replaced my brake light bulb for free when everyone else wanted $30.00. They are really fair on their prices and really nice people. I would recommend this place to everyone, thank you Avenue Auto Repair.

They Lost parts on the car, said they will call when they get the replacement.. they lost, they never call.. No integrity!!They lie again, I went there, and called 3 times and kept calling for a year, if they get the part, as they promised.. they lost it and they do not even reimpurse, or get the part.. just stalling time, for me to forget..Now they lie, and do not remember..

I first meet the owner Dean about 10 years ago when he had a garage on the south side of Columbus off Parsons Avenue. I had an estimate from Firestone for over $1500. His estimate was just over $400 and the car ran amazing. Ever since then, I have always taken my car up to him because he is fair and his prices are the best in the city. I dont trust any mechanic except for Dean. Try this garage and you will know what I mean!

This will remain my auto repair shop for life...or unless I move out of state. Dean has an extremely high level of integrity and will do an excellent job on all repairs. I actually said this during my very first call into the shop and then had to find out the hard way by going to someone else. Needless to say, I took my car Dean after my bad experience elsewhere and havent looked back. My last repair (brakes) Dean stayed at his shop four hours after it closed at 6pm just ro have my car back to me the same day...I picked it up at 10:30pm completely satisfied. I have never experienced this type of customer service and I doubt it exists at most places. Give him a try...you wont be disappointed!
